Granada

Amazing local hangout with delicious food and great staff! Such nice warm and welcoming servers and bomb a$$ food to boot! I had superb crispy Lamb croquettes with a cumin yogurt sauce that melt in your mouth with flavor and a very unique take on Dakos with avocado added to the mix! Everything was perfect and a very local crowd! The staff couldn’t have been nicer with smiles all around! And delicious house wine at a price that can’t be beat. I will be here many times in my week staying around the corner. Bravo and kudos because this place is a must now every time I come to Athens!!! There’s about 10 items on the menu I need to try before I leave! Can’t wait to come back!!!!!

Fantastic little restaurant in a quiet side street near Monastiraki square, only two blocks from the apartment we rented. After having been extremely disappointed with the food we had our first day in Greece, Granada was a very welcome surprise. It’s obvious the owner takes pride in his food and hospitality. Everything was so fresh and of excellent quality and taste. Highly recommend trying this spot.

Walked past this store and it just give you a homely and right feeling. We were lucky to get a table for 2 despite fully packed Saturday night. The service was excellent and we had some really great starters (we love to eat starters and the grilled veg in Greece) and they were truly amazing!

Amazing place. The staff is extremely nice and careful, making sure you are good at all times. We ordered several plates to try a bit of everything. We finished really full and happy, one plate less would have been perfect. We ordered some dips, risotto (which was incredible, maybe the best risotto ever), some croquettes and some fried sweet potatoes. We drunk and tasted local beers following the recommendations. The total price was 33.50 € for two people.

We stumbled across Granada looking for a less-touristy place for a bite to eat and a drink and we were delighted we did. Fabulous greek hospitality, friendly service and a lively atmosphere. Would recommend the fried shrimp with bulgur, the lamb croquettes and the fried mushrooms

Food was delicious as well as the wine and sangria. Glad we picked here. It was quiet at 8 but picked up about 9.

Very nice small traditional non traditional tavern. We had the beef which was so Soft among others. The raki was super tasty and cold. The staff friendly and fast 🥘 ***** 👧 👦 ***** 🚽 ***** 🎶 ***** 🪟 ***** 💰 *****

Great bang for the buck! We loved everything about our dinner at Granáda. When we learned there was live music that night, we were hesitant. However, it turned out to be one of our most memorable nights we've spent in Athens. We ordered the dips (4 dips & handmade chips, my favourite being the beetroot hummus, sweet and creamy). We also ordered the scallops, pork cheeks and octopus. Octopus with fava beans and caper jam was our favourite although the other dishes were quite tasty as well. The wine menu is as basic as it gets, we ordered the 500 ml house red wine, we found it very decent for what we paid. We finished the night with a glass of sangria each. The prices were more than fair and the service very friendly - no wonder the place was packed.
