Lovely spot with delicious and fresh food! We stopped here twice, before and then after hiking Havasupi. It was so good the first time we came back. We had chicken wrap, side salad, potato soup, bison burger, zoomie burger and fry bread. All were great and we recommend. Cute little gift shop and all the S staff are super awesome and friendly too!

Drove 30 minutes out of my way for absolutely nothing. Their website and Google My Business page both clearly said they close at 8pm. I arrived at 6:00pm only to learn they are on "winter hours" and closed at 6:00pm. Absolutely ridiculous. Update your website!

I so appreciate this is remote and few restaurants in the area. Our experience: Told about the special frybread burger and encouraged to order it, so we did, me with a beer, Kevin with a coke. The beer arrived hot, I was told the fridge didn’t work, so I got ice. When our order didn’t come, we asked of it (we had seen a similar order sent back and sat on the counter). Our order was misplaced, we could no longer order the special and Kevin was given the returned order. I ordered a BLT only to get a chicken sandwich, then a cold BLT and fries. Meanwhile, Chef Annie comes out and rails on the nicest blonde waitress over leaving the only bottle of wine in the restaurant on a table. The customer returned the bottle, as we were all a bit surprised we had just been on an episode of Hell’s Kitchen. Soooo an hour and half later, $40 for a burger, beer, BLT and glass of tea….four attempts to get just the BLT right, not to mention Kevin’s cold (recycled) burger and fries, we gave this info to Chef Annie…aka Gordon Ramsay, she let us know it was a staff issue…..pack dinner in here, save yourself from this nonsense.

We stayed in the motel and toured the Cavern on a quick getaway for the weekend. All the staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. The Cavern tour was so neat and the guide was so funny. We ate at the restaurant in the Cavern and that was a unique experience. My husband had the bison burger and said it was delicious. I had the grilled chicken salad and I think I would have rather had the BBQ pork. The salad was weird with sliced zucchini and the ranch was kind of bland. The service was fantastic and the server was very chatty. We definitely had a great time.

We enjoyed the short tour. Very educational and impressive. We recommend making reservations online prior to making the drive. The lunch in the Cavern is a great idea but the food was horrible. We do not recommend spending the money for the experience. Oh, bring a jacket, it is 58 degrees 220 feet under ground.

Post for June 13th, 2025 This is the last stop before hiking into Havasupai Falls. It's an hour away from the Hill Top where you start your descend into Havasupai Falls. The service here has been nothing but friendly and accommodating. The first night of check-in we had no issues other than the wifi not working in our room, which wasn't an issue for me because I'm going to be without wifi or cell service for the next couple of days, what's one more day? Anyways, get here before 6pm to check-in if you're going to Havasupai Falls the following day or the day of. if you stay here they provide you with complimentary continental breakfast. Breakfast was literally 2 hard boiled eggs in a commercial plastic bag, cereal, regular milk, bagels, sliced bread, a toaster for your bread, butter, Philadelphia cream cheese, cups of OJ, cups of Yoplait yogurt, and salt packets. For what it was, I didn't mind it. It did the trick and helped me start my day. The rooms themselves a kept nicely and comfortable beds to sleep in. The restaurant on the premises is nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well. My group had the fry bread tacos which were MASSIVE and I had the Zoomie Burger. I had a piece of the fry bread taco and it tasted great. My Zoomie Burger was infuriated over cooked, but I think that's just how they cook them naturally. Nonetheless, it was a fine dining experience next to the gift shop where you sign up for the cave tour

Cavern tour was great! Nice pace, good details, and friendly / cheerful guide. Would definitely recommend. Only issue was getting there using GPS-Maps program. Takes you past it by 15 mile markers into small town of Peach Springs. It would be helpful to mention this in the email where address and info about the upcoming tour is provided.

We took the short tour (25 min) with tour guide Dino and it was the perfect length of time. The caverns were very impressive and Dino was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was a perfect pitstop on our way to the Grand Canyon that got us walking a bit and intrigued us adults and our little kids alike.

My husband and I stopped for a cavern tour during a roadtrip across the Arizona section of Route 66 tour and we are glad we did! Susan, our tour guide, did a great job giving us historical as well as geologic descriptions of what we were seeing in this amazing, large underground dry cave. They just reopened in June after installing a new elevator and improving a few tunnels used to access the existing cave tour. We chose to take the extended tour due to timing and it is well worth the small amount of extra cost. We found it a little confusing where to purchase tickets, but once we were directed further down the road to the restaurant, it was easy to find. Great RV area and large restaurant where we would have eaten if we'd had more time. If you're thinking about planning a tour, we recommend!

I was really looking forward to this cave tour, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the natural setting had potential, several aspects of the experience were underwhelming. The guide didn't provide much interesting history or geological information. She also spoke fast and unclear. We were hoping for a more educational experience. Her flashlight battery died and had to borrow one of the guests, as she did not have a backup. One of the guests pointed out the colors on the formations towards the end of the tour, and she was surprised herself! I wouldn't recommend it unless improvements are made. Maybe a different tour guide would have made all the difference!

I did not expect a whole lot given the remote location of the inn. We did check in very late where we were accommodated by overnight attendant. The room itself was simple with the bare basics. The heater didn't work very well and it was pretty chilly. The water pressure in the shower was also very bad. The bed was huge and that was probably my favorite part. Supposedly there was a continental breakfast that we had just missed when we checked out at 9:30am. It's convenient for hiking supai but nothing special at all. Thank you for having us, respectfully.

The restaurant was open at a limited time when we were there (11am-3pm) but the owner mentioned that he'll stay open later if/when more people are around. With that said, the owner and one of his guys were just the most pleasant people we have ever met!! Very welcoming, nice, explained a ton of stuff to us that we appreciated - overall good energy kind of folks. After a long morning of driving this was the perfect meal to recuperate and just feel good! My southwestern burger was so so good and you can't sleep on the fries (we ordered extra to go for dinner since we're checked in overnight at the Inn and nothing else is open around the area). Definitely go visit when in the area, they deserve a ton of love and support! The Caves will also be open by end-March (same area as the restaurant)!

Super cool motel. Stayed in February so there was still some snow but the room had a heater that was perfect! The room had two beds, mounted tv with a couple channels. It had everything you needed to sleep and shower. Caverns were closed when we visited. The cafe was open and we had chicken tenders. It was a cool place to be, pretty big property. About 5mins to the road to head to the havasupai hike.

Just a great experience of a very unique geologic event/location. A very knowledgeable guide. We elected to have lunch in the cavern as well. Good meal, good portions, great and friendly service. Very clean.

More like 3.5. Service was tip top. Ambiance was diner ish as they were quiet. Quiant place, probably noisy when busy. Had their mozzarella sticks, okay, onion rings, above average, fried zucchini, also above average and was surprised to find them firm. The winner was the crispy chicken wrap. Stuffed with chicken, filling was lettuce, tom's, dressing (not ranch), celery, etc. The wrap itself was not you standard cheesy tortilla. Overall a good portion, moist, lots of chicken and the flavors coming together as harmonious unit. Little pricey, $$. Three people, two beers, two sodas 60 bucks

Came here after checking in for my permits to hike to Havasupai. You have to check in a the Grand Canyon Cavern Inn the day before you start hiking. This was the closest open food option after checking in and I wanted to get a proper meal before starting my hike tomorrow morning. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The food isn't fancy, but it is filling and it was nice to have a warm meal. Judging on the food alone, I would probably give it three stars, but there was ample seating, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient for my situation.

very disappointed, made the reservation for the tour and rv park, get a call 5 days before my trip and have it cancelled because they are still getting everything ready for the season, I get it things happen, but the problem is the way they run their business, the problem is that it's been a week and can't get a hold of a manager because they don't have phones?!?!? only email???? Come on in this day in age, I just want my refund because they cancelled on me. Seriously be cautious because if they cancel on you, you might not get your money back, what a fraud

Just came up from hiking to Havasu Falls. Someone said that this place has great burgers. They were amazing. Only momma has made better. Guy had the Angry Bison burger. He said it was the best burger he had ever eaten

Loved the vibes, the people who worked here, and the yummy food! The burgers and veggies were FRESH and the onion rings were on point. It's a small menu with simple food but made to order and exactly what you need the night before a long hike!

When I heard they opened a restaurant inside the cave and Grand Canyon Caverns I knew I had to give it a try. I booked a reservation for a 12:45 PM lunch and hit the road. It turned out I was the only one booked for that time so I had the place to myself. That was nice. I spent my lunch chatting with the service attendant. I ordered a baby bella and swiss cheese burger and a side of fries for my lunch. It was brought dowm from the surface in a small metal trash can and hoisted up to the dining platform. That made me chuckle. It was like a really cheesey dinner and a show. The food was actually really good though. A tender juicy burger. Lots of suteed mushrooms. Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato all served on a ciabatta roll. With the side of steak cut fries (perfectly cooked), this was a good lunch with unsurpassed atmosphere. But what really set it apart was the all-you-can-eat pie. I had a piece of cheese cake (not NY style) and chocolate cream pie. Both were creamy and delicious. And way too much food. I still had a cave tour to look forward to but I was so damned stuffed. I headed back to the surface and waited for the 2PM tour. And yes, lunch comes with a 45 minute tour of the cave. Like a really killer 2-for-1 deal. It all makes for a wholly unique experience. When is the last time you ate lunch 210 feet below the surface of the earth in the nation's largest dry cave?

Location; mile behind the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn, which was scenic and cute route. Service; Server was very outgoing and always checking on us and our food. Food; Ordered the Steak dinner, with grilled squash and macaroni and cheese with a homemade biscuit. The steak was cooked to order, and tasty. The side were by far delicious, mostly the grilled squash was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Have to mention the pie, bar far the best pie I have had in a while, fresh fruit cooked in a crispy pie crust.

We arrived for our Tour, only to find out that they've been Closed for 6 months! They didn't notify me about the closure. Nor do I understand why they let me buy tickets in early May, when they were already Closed? To top it off,the Grand Canyon Cavern' staff were quite rude, to say the least. Whatever you do, don't buy tickets for anything related to the Caverns! John P.

Such a wonderful experience! I just got back from backpacking Havasupai falls, I was exhausted and ended up arriving before my check in time at the Grand Canyon Caverns, I ended up here, I lounged on the deck with a book and a glass of wine! The restaurant manager was so wonderful and even brought me some pasta salad which was to die for!! (Probably best I've ever had not going to lie). Def bringing a container home. It's hard finding places like this with this kind of comfort and good vibes. I'll be back! Thank you again

Driving down Route 66 we decided to pull into the Caverns to find out if we could eat there. The Caverns were closed, the restaurant just opening. What happened next was a beautiful memory in the making. A very nice man named Don took care of us, he cooked a beautiful meal, showed us around and was more than a good host. We had a great time, it is well worth a stop. Next time we will check out the Caverns. Thank you Don!!!

There were five of us in our group who took the cave tour with David - who was pretty funny and engaging and answered all of our questions - and then ate lunch with Melissa as our server. It was a really neat experience - a lot to see during the tour AND while we enjoyed our food! Two of us got salads with grilled chicken - very fresh and tasty and three got burgers with onion rings which they said were great! There were three other tables of two each during lunch and that's about the maximum capacity for the Grotto. Melissa took each of our photos at the tables and hanging over the railing - which meant four separate times she had to run down and around to take our photos from the bottom looking up! She was very accommodating and helpful.

A must stop if you pass through Peach Spring, AZ on your Route 66 adventures. There's a cavern, gift shop, and cafe on site. I appreciate that they have a condensed version of the tour that is wheelchair accessible at half the price. It's obviously not as interesting as the full tour but at least you can go down to the cavern and get a small glimpse of some things. It was fine for my son in his power chair but for those in a manual chair, you may need a bit of assistance as some areas are quite steep. We started with Chris as our guide. My older kids said he was a good guide. Because my younger son and I took the shorter tour, we split with the rest of the group and went back with a guide named Dino. We didn't like him as much because he spoke so fast and walked so fast that we could not understand anything he was telling us (per my 8 year old son - and I concur). He also talked in a rehearsed monotone voice so he didn't seem very interesting to listen to, even if we could hear him. I first came here about 18 years ago, and there have been some changes since. They now have a grotto area where you can dine in the cavern. They also made a deck complete with a couple futons, a bathroom, and a TV if you were interested in staying there overnight. Seems cool, but with people saying there are ghost sightings there, I would be too chicken to go myself... The biggest surprise for me was the restaurant. The food is excellent! I wasn't expecting this in the middle of nowhere. We were heading westbound on Route 66 and in looking at my map, there weren't any other restaurants along the road, so I decided that we would just grab a bite there after our tour. The menu is pretty limited, but what they do have they do really well. My family had the burgers, and I had the chicken sandwich. The food took a while (because there was only one guy cooking during the lunch rush) but in watching the cook, he was taking great care in preparing the meals. The burgers were fresh beef - I sat him getting fresh balls of ground beef and putting it on the grill and smashing them down into patties. They are served on ciabatta rolls with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. My family really enjoyed their meals, and although my chicken breast was on the small side, it tasted really really good! They also offer free charging for electric vehicles. The hotel up front also has cars with a "Radiator Springs" gas station and cars decked out like the Cars characters for photo ops. Definitely a fun way to spend a couple hours along the route.

Grotto : Food was good. Clean with friendly staff. cavern tour: Friendly staff, informative. sad though to see expansion of man made structures in the cavern itself. I understand the owners have to make money, but it takes away from the experience of touring the cavern itself. RV/camp ground: Kept Clean. Nice laundry facility. Bathrooms are nice.... Except the shower head dropped/no flow. There is a walking path from the main road/hotel to the back grotto/cavern tour site. Paths are washed out and no signs posted that they have horses/cows roaming free! The motel/entrance by the main road is still well kept.... but the previous owner who had numerous 1950's cars/trucks/scooters sold the property and took all his rides with him. The area no longer looks/feels like the inspiration to "Radiator Springs" for the Disney movie (Cars)! The restaurant attached to the motel is closed and the once quant mini golf course is dilapidated. I hope the new owners returns this magtime

Ok, two Reviews for the same place. This place is amazing! The Tour down the caverns is unbelievable, the guides are so knowledgeable and helpful. There is so much to see! The fallout shelter information from the nuclear fearful age is unreal. So please go and support them!

We loved the friendly atmosphere and the thoughtfulness of the staff. Reggie, Dino and their Manager Randy were so good! The caverns were and are one of a kind. A truly wonder of nature. You will not see this anywhere else in the world! Food was great as their pizzas were delicious and having one 21 Stories in our own private Grotto was a once in a lifetime. Thank you Grand Canyon Caverns and Grotto we traveled back almost 200 miles to see you and it was so worth it!

Friendly folks and great food! I had a burger with bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce! Fries were the bomb! Interesting memorabilia!!! Would definitely recommend.

Great cavern tour! Loved our tour guide Dino, very punny guy. The grill was great, hamburgers tasted fantastic and i was told they are made from ground chuck. Nice day vacation from Las Vegas, and totally fun by yourself or with the family

Surprised my hubby with a weekend getaway for his birthday. Took him to tour the Caverns along with having lunch in the Grotto. The food was delicious, the pie was even better. The whole eating in the Caverns is brilliant. After we finished eating we did the tour. Dino was fantastic and knew so many details, plus he was funny as heck. He is older than my husband and I, but you definitely could not tell. He went through the Caverns like it was just a little stroll through the park, HA it definitely isn't. If you are "thinking" about going. Don't think anymore and just do it.

We went to the Grand Canyon South Rim as a quick family get away. After some google searches I discovered this cave tour was between South Rim and home. I immediately booked it. There was a weird glitch in processing and I contacted them and they were very responsive. Upon arriving we see lots of artifacts. The caves were amazing! I will say there are more stairs than I imagined, but despite being pregnant and overweight it wasn't too much to handle. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. My family including 4 little kids all had a great time. My husband said we should go back for a more adventurous cave tour when we get in a little better shape.

The Decorations and ambiance is one reason to go. The food is so delicious and good that we dig right in and remembered to take pictures after we ate it. The bbq pulled pork sandwich was one of the best bbq I have ever had. My friend had the chicken wrap and she agreed it was perfect. We also had the seasoned fries and they were perfect. Service was also amazing.

I stopped by the caverns on the way from the Grand Canyon back to California. It was about an hour out of the way from my drive but it was highly recommended. The caverns itself were very interesting and the decorations along the roads kept my attention. The tour guides however did not seem to be very intrigued with the tour and the tour was guided more by questions from people in my group. I personally do not think it was worth the hour out of the way from my trip but if it was on the way it would not be a bad place to stop and stretch your legs because I do think it was very interesting. It was a lot bigger than I expected coming into it.

We had a great time during this tour of the caverns. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great history of the caverns and a lot of stories about the men who helped dig the tunnels and about the rocks, gems and formations in the caverns.

What an amazing experience. We had reservations for the motel but didn't have reservations for the restaurant. We inquired at counter and they got us in at our desired time slots for dinner and cave tour. Our cave guide was awesome. He had enthusiasm and humor. Our waitress was friendly but personable. This is a unique opportunity. Everyone should have dinner in a cave sometime in their life.

Our lunch at the grotto was one of the highlights of our trip to Arizona. The tour prior to the meal was wonderful and made the meal even more special. The food was tasty. We enjoyed the French dip and onion rings especially. The wine was enjoyable. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend!

Just got done with Havasupai and we were looking for a spot to eat. Accidentally stumbled on this place and sure glad we did. $50 got us the king tour, two IPAs, awesome lunch and all you can eat dessert. All 21 stories underground in the cavern. I wasn't expecting the food to be good but I was terribly mistaken. Their burger was legit hand made on a ciabatta bun, should have asked for it medium rare but that was our fault. And their roast beef sandwhich was off the hangers!!! I had to say thank you to the nice lady that cooked our meal. You gotta check this place out. Service was perfect and the view was legit. Only thing is the eating area is tiny, oh well you're 220 ft underground. Thank you guys!

We had a fabulous time on our tour of the Caverns! Dino was our tour guide and his classic jokes and in-depth knowledge kept us thoroughly entertained (including our 2 children - 5 yrs & 10 yrs old). We definitely recommend this fascinating tour and fun experience to everybody!

We had dinner in the cave for $59. which included a 45 minute tour, the tour guide Bo was very informative and friendly. Dinner was in the cave! At dinner I ordered fried chicken and husband ordered the meatloaf both were delicious! The salad bar and desserts were really good! I liked the cheesecake the best! Dinner also included 2 alcohol beverages ! Our waitress Kelly was very friendly and attentive! we will definitely be back

Fabulous experience dining in a cave. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and attentive. Be sure to take a tour to fully appreciate the extent of the cave. We also booked the overnight cave suite. This is a must do for all couples! Complete privacy surrounded by beautiful cave walls. Such a unique experience, we hope to book again sometime.

The Caverns were a really interesting experience, the tour guide Tom gave us lots of interesting information about the history of the Caverns. The Gift Shop was pretty bare and we did not eat at the either of the Resturants so I cannot Comment on the food. Not much else to do in the immediate area but it is a short distance to Seligman then on to William's, AZ.

I went on the first tour of the morning so there was only myself and another couple. The tour was very informative and the caves were very pretty. I wish the underground restaurant had been open but it was closed due to COVID. If I find myself in the area again I will definitely like to visit it again.

These caverns were amazing. It was so beautiful at 210 feet below the Earth's surface. Dino our tour guide was great. He told many jokes and told us the history of the caverns. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Cavern tour is a MUST DO....David was awesome tour guide. 45 minute tour is fun for all ages. Next time, we will check out the Explorer tour

I had lunch here over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. We arrived early and first went on a tour of the caverns, which themselves are quite remarkable, then we had lunch in the grotto afterwards. The food was great (I highly recommend the banana cream pie for dessert) and the setting was truly unique. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in the area.

You won't be disappointed! We even ate at the Grotto in the cave--excellent food!! Can't go wrong but their version of a French dip was simply amazing! Randi was our server and she was very kind and you could tell she really loved her job!! After lunch we did the Standard (45 minute) tour of the caverns. Very interesting tour, our guide's name was Reggie. We had about 11 people in our group total, only 3 in my party. The tour went fast and seemed a little rushed but he did give several opportunities for questions. It was very interesting! I'd definitely come back again and will be telling our friends and family about it!!

We did the tour first and then had a reservation for a very late lunch. The ambiance is very cool and the food was good. I had the steak salad and hubby had the steak sandwich with mushrooms added. The onion rings were soggy so I wouldn't recommend them. Wish we would have went with the steak fries instead. My only complaint is that it states that it comes with 2 drinks per person. We opted for wine. I had finished my glass and hubby still had over half of his left. The waitress came over and filled mine and topped his off. When we were done and I asked for his other half she stated she had already given us 2 and couldn't give us anymore. The same thing happened to the table next to us with their beers. So my advice is to not allow them to top your drink off until it is completely empty otherwise you will get gypped. I would also recommend making your reservation before 4:00. Ours was at 4:30 and she was definitely kicking us out right after we were done. The table next to us felt the same way.
