Grand Coffee Review - Mission - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Grand Coffee is the preeminent coffee roaster in the Mission. You’ll find their coffee at a bunch of other coffee shops and plenty of grocery stores across the city. But come to their small operation on Mission St. to get an affordable and tasty shot of espresso inside a space that’s bursting with communal energy. Despite only having a few seats, there’s always someone here crocheting, chatting it up with the barista, or creating an elaborate drawing on a to-go cup to be added to their small wall of artful cups." - Ricky Rodriguez

10/10 - One of my new favorites! I had my food and drink within 5 minutes of ordering at their self-serve kiosk (which was nice for someone like me who had never visited before). I got the Lox bagel and added onion and olives to it and OMG! So good I scarfed it down. My beverage was an iced latte with oatmilk and SF vanilla, also fantastic! My total was $16 before tip, so very moderately priced. My only suggestion for the atmosphere would be to play some music. When I visited, there was no music playing throughout the shop. I had headphones but typically I like to read to coffee shop ambience, lol.

The coffee was absolutely delicious! Ordered a bagel with cream cheese but there was only a thin cream cheese spread on one half of bagel (so other bagel half was dry) and also paid extra to add the smallest slivers of cucumber and onion. Kind of a bummer but would maybe try again sometime!

Traveling through from out of town, we were excited to find a well-reviewed kosher restaurant to stop at for lunch. Portions were small and pricey, and edible but not beyond that. On-line pictures were very misleading. Order at the counter and wait (a while), then find a seat at a communal table in the loud space. Very much in line with a restaurant that has a captive client base and doesn't need to strive much. Would not go here again, would rather bring sandwiches from home.

A new spot! Grand Coffee in Cleveland Heights stands out for the overall exceptional experience it provides. The café greets you with a stylish, inviting ambiance, making it the perfect spot for relaxation or catching up with friends. The interior design strikes a balance between modern aesthetics and homey warmth, with comfortable seating that encourages guests to linger. Attention has clearly been given to creating a space that is as visually appealing as it is cozy, ensuring a delightful visit every time. The coffee is good, I also enjoyed the waffles. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, a heavenly treat for the taste buds. Excitingly, staff mentioned that Grand Coffee is expanding its menu, soon to include bagels among other tasty items, promising even more reasons to return. A 10/10 in my books, and easy location off the main street.

Best kosher restaurant in Cleveland! Nothing fancy, but really delicious food and great coffee. Order the acai bowl!

I visited a couple weeks ago & I was sad to see how expensive the prices were. The portions were pretty small considering the price (the attached picture is officially a medium sized drink)...Cute place but I wouldn't visit here again.
