This was the first restaurant we visited in Prague and it did a fine job of setting a standard for the level of food we should be expecting. Service and wine pairings were very good, we enjoyed our waiter. The restaurant is in a good location and walkable if you're staying in Old Town. We got Roasted quail, caramelised jerusalem artichoke, celeriac, mushroom jus, Veal tartar, truffle mayonnaise, egg yolk gel, black truffle for our starters. The roasted quail was bursting with flavor, I loved Jerusalem artichoke and the celeriac puree was filled with flavor. Not normally a huge fan of tartar in the states, but here it was so buttery and full of flavor, I was shocked. The veal was of the highest quality. For mains we got Lamb shoulder, lamb chop, parmesan crust, bell pepper compote, lamb jus with fermented garlic and the ribeye with potatoes, chanterelles, wild broccoli, parisian butter, veal jus. The lamb was tender and melted in your mouth, the sauces paired well and the bell pepper compote had a surprising depth of flavor. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare. I would recommend this place, and reservations for busy times is highly recommended. We did the wine pairing with our meal.
