You can tell the quality of donut place by their simple glazed donut. Theirs is divine. Along with everything else there. Kolaches are top notch with soft flavorful dough, the breakfast sandwiches and donuts (all types) are superb. The service is great and the people working there are lovely. Also amazing prices which is unheard of in Austin. Perfect local donut shop. No notes.

I have been ordering from this Donut shop since I was in High School and nothing will ever compare to how amazing they are! I've been around the world and their bread is still top notch! Super/Grand Donuts will always be my favorite! ❤️

Great service, donuts and a clean business. During my last visit they had a protective screen when you checkout, the staff wore masks and the whole experience was seamless and organized. The donuts were great and the selection is always consistent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area or craving some donuts.

The donuts I had were freshly fried and glazed and they were so good. Perfect on a weekday morning. There were so many people and yet the owners and customers all moved quickly and efficiently. I can see why they had a line on a Wednesday morning.

Great neighborhood donut shop. The jumbo jalapeño kolache is my favorite and my young boys like all the different sprinkle options for the donuts.

Years later, and Grand Donuts is STILL my go-to donut shop. The service is always friendly and nice, and the food NEVER disappoints! The owners are a husband and wife duo, where the wife works the counter and the husband primarily works in the back. Grand Donut truly cares about quality, and it's clear in everything they serve--whether it's their classic donuts, creative seasonal offerings, kolaches, breakfast tacos, or breakfast sandwiches. This is not your average donut shop, it's exceptional. The breading on their kolaches is perfect. While I'm a regular fan of the sausage and cheese kolaches, I like to treat myself to a Boudin Kolache every now and then. If you've never heard of or tried a Boudin Kolache, then you're probably not from Houston or Louisiana. So, what is Boudin? It's a spicy Cajun sausage made with rice and meat--and trust me, it tastes way better than it sounds! If you aren't so daring, it's okay. You can start with one of their fruit or sausage kolaches, grab a donut or a taco, whatever it is, you can't go wrong!

I LOVE this place. I've been coming here for years. Its a small, family owned shop that makes their products fresh every morning. I got hooked years ago because of their cinnamon rolls. I still remember the first time i had it. It was freshly baked and i had to wait for them to cool a bit before they hand frosted them!!! Now, the cinnamon rolls are made different; and while they're not as good as the original there's plenty here that's phenomenal. The donuts themselves fall lighter than shipleys but a tad heavier than krispy kreme. They're just these perfect pillows. And if you're smart you'll get a pillow filled with lemon filling. That's my favorite. Its perfection. Then there's their breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. Honestly, there is no best here. Pick any one and you'll be satisfied. TRY THEM ALL!!! Its not gluttony when its for research purposes and to support local businesses :) Just know, it can get busy here. Especially on the weekend. But the line goes very quickly. This family has efficiency down to a science without ever sacrificing customer service. They're always pleasant and even remember what you like. Or maybe its just that I've been here so much. Either way, ill be back just about every weekend!

The Wednesday batch of eclairs is especially delicious. My favorite part of the eclairs is the filling and the chocolate topping and the donut part. I've found that when I get one on Wednesday mornings they're better than every other day of the week. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to eat the eclairs here, especially on Wednesdays.

We love this place! Super close to a lot of areas down south, friendly staff, seating inside, and lots of donut options! We come here because it's the one place we've found where the donuts don't stale overnight, they still taste good one to two days after! Lots of variety from old fashioned to Bavarian creams. Highly recommend this place!

This is one of the best donut places I have been. Donuts are old school and basic, not a ranch bacon whisky maple kinda place. The Large Jalapeño Cheese Kolaches are the best I have had! Get there early when they are hot from the oven! The basic maple and chocolate are spot on, donuts are crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Mmmmm.

Been meaning to try this place for a while. Went at 5:30 (very early in general, especially for me lol). Was greeted when I walked in and the nice lady was smiling while I was ordering the whole time. Clean inside and organized case of goodies. I ordered a bunch of kolaches, apple fritter, blueberry donut, and donut holes. Everything was warm and fresh! Flavors on point and the kolache dough was so light and fluffy. Best kolache I've had in Austin. Donuts were amazing too. Apple fritter was warm, and slightly crispy which is perfect. Overall this is the best spot for your donut/kolache fix! Always support local because it's a win win for everyone.

The perfect quick morning breakfast to pick up (or dine in). My boyfriend and I have come multiple times to grab breakfast to eat at home. Everything is always made fresh and delicious. Great prices and value. Plus everyone that works there is so kind. I highly recommend checking it out.

Came here early morning to grab some donuts and breakfast tacos for a friend's bday! And they were open at 7AM on a Wednesday. I love mom and pop donut shops. I got a box of 6 donuts for the bday crew, half a dozen donut holes (the lovely folks threw in an extra one on the house) and two breakfast tacos for myself. I didn't get a chance to eat any of their donuts, so that was a miss...but I heard it was yummy. They have salsa on the side (that's more like thicc pico salsa) for you to grab and go, as well as napkins and other add-ons for those who order drinks like coffee. This review is for their vegetarian breakfast tacos. The tacos aren't Tacodeli, Veracruz or Torchy's status, but they're great if you're looking for something quick to eat and you're in a rush. The vegetarian bfast taco option has egg, cheese and papas. It was a good portion size for what you pay, but I would have liked the cheese to have been melted and the taco to be a bit warmer. I love supporting local shops that are run by friendly awesome folks. Their donut shop is also very clean and they have a few tables for folks to eat at if they need a little breather before starting their early mornings. Thanks y'all.

WHY IS THIS PLACE ALWAYS CLOSED!!! I've tried to come here about 3 times in the last 2 months and they are always randomly closed.

Honestly the best kolaches I've ever eaten. The staff and associates are always cordial and welcoming with each customer. My wife and I first came here the morning after our wedding and it continues to give great service and wonderful food. Would highly recommend!

These are easily the best donuts I've ever had. We just were driving through and I looked up donut places and this place popped up with good reviews so we decided to check it out. We got 3 different strawberry donuts and just as we were finishing they brought out a fresh tray of them so I had to get one more. The already made ones were delicious but the fresh one was absolutely phenomenal. It melted in your mouth and had the best flavor. We also got a chocolate one that was delicious. I highly recommend if you want a delicious donut.

You know my husband loves kolaches so I just randomly stopped here and they had a huge selection! Got two kolaches and two donuts! YUM! they are huge here hahaha we are all for that. good flavor, good bread, good jalapeño cheese sausage kolache. hit the spot! will return!

The place is always clean, professional and the donuts taste great. The staff is always nice and welcoming. Kind of pricy but worth every penny. I can't stop slobbering over their bread. They make amazing glazed donuts and their bread for the kolaches is out of this world. I grew up eating Shipley's and I never thought anything could compare but this is place is better.

I'm so torn in giving any family owned business a review of three stars. The quality of the croissants and kolaches here is amazing. However I witnessed the staff making the food with no gloves. Given the times and how important it is to protect everyone's health it was completely unacceptable. Unfortunately I won't be going back.

This place is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I go here all the time and she is obsessed with their kolaches. Those are great but it's the white cream filled donuts that keep bringing me back!

If the donuts were any better, I must have died and gone to heaven. I could eat a half-dozen just on the 2 mile drive home. OhMahGawd they're so good! The staff is always amazing and the prices won't break the bank. I'm not sure what they put in the donuts to make them so melt in your mouth perfect, but I bet it has something to do with love. Don't believe me? Try one - or a few - but beware, there's no 12 step group for donuts that I know of and you're sure to become addicted.

Sign says Grand Donuts now, but it still comes up in maps as super donuts. I went in for the first time this morning to get myself a single donut and didn't realize they don't take credit cards under $3. I just said never mind since I don't need to be taking home that many donuts for myself. The girl behind the counter then gave me the donut for free. Such a small, but awesome act of kindness. Made my day!

Super Donut! I love you. What's that in the sky? A bird, a plane, a ....a....kolache? Yes, yes in fact, a kolache. Flying with a donut. You don't see it? What a sad depressing life you live. Anyway Super Donut is super and it is on my list of things to share with Dej when she moves to the dark side. I mean south side. And we also need to have a ladies night at the Torro Nego which is in the same shopping center. Dej Moves to the Southside UYE? Yes! Alright, this place has it all: kolaches with various amalgams of meats and cheese, donuts with various amalgams of frosting and sprinkles, breakfast tacos with...you get the idea. Surprisingly the breakfast tacos are really good, except for the bacon one I got this morning, maybe steer clear of that. They have good HOT coffee and it is nearly impossible to go over a five spot here if you're just buying for yourself. So grab some eats for your friends without breaking the bank cause go home a hero or everyone loves the guy that brought taquitos to the office or something I heard on TV.

I have been coming to this donut shop weekly for the last six months and I refuse to go elsewhere!! This is hands-down the best donut shop in Austin and no one can convince me otherwise. They have a great selection of donuts, old-fashioned donuts, and cake donuts. They also have any kind of kolaches or breakfast sandwich/taco you could need. Their donut holes also taste as though God himself made them!! Do yourself a favor and try this place out!
