Grand Hotel et de Milan

A very elegant Hotel located a short walk from La Scala, minutes away from The Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and with a Metro Station next door.||A warm greeting on arrival minus our luggage (courtesy of KLM Airlines) helpful and efficient check in and quickly to our room. Reception staff kindly provided emergency toiletries. ||Our room 202 looking out to the inner garden/courtyard was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished with a large comfortable king bed, sofa's, chairs and desk, excellent device charger, coffee machine, kettle, tea and coffee provisions, TV and daily bottled water. Plenty of storage and hanging space, a coat/trouser hangar although the safe was positioned very low in a wardrobe. ||Bathroom comprised good sized washbasin, large mirror, toilet unit and bidet, plenty of good quality towels and linen. Regrettably it is an over bath shower which is tricky for us less agile folk and you cannot actually stand under the main rain shower head as it is too close to the wall. There is a hand held shower spray and safety mat.|The main room was very relaxing and restful although there is a little traffic noise mainly from the trams. Housekeeping was immaculate.||Breakfast was enjoyed in a nice dining room where the staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient. Maybe the tables are a bit close together but the buffet and cook to order produce is extensive although a lot of food at a lower table is not covered.|The nearby warm counter is just too cluttered so you cannot put your plate down, hold a tureen lid and plate your food all at once. Part of the dining space is in a conservatory so you can watch the early morning commuters. ||Dining out do consider ANyMA restaurant, Via Maroncelli 15 for real flavours of Spain and Italy.||In summary a most enjoyable stay despite our luggage tribulations much alleviated by the very caring and helpful staff who could not have been more supportive and helpful. Stay here to enjoy traditional elegance and style coupled with first class service.

I had an unforgettable stay at the Grand Hotel et de Milan! The hotel has such a beautiful historic charm, yet everything feels elegant and comfortable. My room was spotless, spacious, and had that classic Milanese style. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always made me feel welcome. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the Duomo, La Scala, and all the best shopping streets. Breakfast was delicious and set the perfect tone for each day. Truly a five-star experience

The hotel has an old world charm with all modern amenities with a very cute restaurant & beautiful expansive lounge area. There is an understated quiet elegance. The breakfast is great and so is the restaurant food. The staff at the restaurant were lovely. Christian, a long time employee at the restaurant was very helpful & knowledgeable.||Our chk in was smooth, thanks to the reception & the ushers at the door. The rooms were airy & spacious, beautifully serviced & with modern amenities & ample closet space. Room had a view of the Duomo. |Every night we were provided with lovely treats & of course the welcome drink in the room. The hotel promptly catered to all our requests & we loved our stay.||I am a fan of Italian & French Concierge because of their knowledge & reach. The Concierge team here did not disappoint, all restaurant & activity suggestions were super. Special thanks to Walter & the team. ||Note: I love Ortigia & the Ortigia products provided in the bathroom were a lovely surprise. Our 5 nights stay in Milan was perfect!

We absolutely LOVED this hotel! We were upgraded, and checked in upon arrival, based on our Amex Travel booking. This is a classic grand dame hotel. In the middle of a heat wave in Milan, I always loved walking back into this beautiful hotel. Its an oasis and the air conditioning is amazing, which is not always the case with European hotels. ||The service is impeccable and the rooms are gorgeous. One thing I really appreciated: daily free water bottles in the room. The old school room keys were super cool. ||Its also very convenient, sitting right next to a metro stop. We took the airport train to Milano Centrale and then took a quick metro ride (M3 line) to the hotel. The Duomo is an easy 7 minute walk. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

As soon as we walked into the Grand Hotel de Milan we were greeted with warm Milanese hospitality and were immediately blown away by the beauty and grandeur of the hotel’s magnificent lobby - it felt like we were taking a step back in time (in the best way possible). We were escorted to our beautiful room that was so lovely and well appointed. The entire staff was extremely attentive give during our entire stay, especially the concierges who helped us find restaurants that were “off the beaten path” and neighborhoods that we wanted to explore. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet - it was fabulous. I will recommend the Grand Hotel de Milan to everyone I know and will most definitely be back - it truly is an all-around fantastic hotel in heart of the beautiful city of Milano.

Such an incredible stay! You walk through the entrance and are transported to another time, a calm, luxurious respite in the middle of the city. The staff is so welcoming and attentive from check in to check out and every detail feels very intentional. The bed and linens might just be the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced—it was such a restorative sleep! We cannot wait to return!

The best part of visiting Milan is our hotel, thank you so much Grand hotel staff you made our trip extra memorable.. Everything about this hotel is perfect: Reception staff are so helpful and welcoming Interior of the hotel feels like a historic museum, Rooms and everything about the rooms(space, bathroom, hygiene, soap and shampoo quality..) And we receive small gift every time we’re back after a long day out. Location of the hotel is perfect as well, its few minutes walking to Duomo and shopping areas around there. It’s worth every penny you pay🥰🥰

If you need to visit a really busy city like Milano, this hotel has quite the elegance. Super staff, peaceful energy even while being in the city center. Stayed in Verdi’s room. Pretty exciting, but very quiet.

Delightfully spectacular stay. The accommodations are lovely and soft and sweet. Wine, water, flowers, fruit and chocolate are common to find upon arrival. Such a lovely stay. Such lovely memories.

A true highlight hotel for a trip to Milan. This place is lovely and appointed so beautifully. Our room was magnificent and our balcony was an added bonus. We loved our time in Milan. The hotel was very central. I will add to be careful of the breakfast if it is not included in your rate is is 70 euro for 2 people!! Ours was included. A lovely room on street level with a glass roof area is you prefer. The offering is standard euro hotel food and everything was very fresh - the orange juice throughout Italy is amazing here they had blood orange juice fresh squeezed and it was heavenly. The bar is large and fun with great snacks and very friendly staff. Check in was a breeze and they were all so friendly. Do not miss this hotel.
