We came as participant during the SPIEF June 18-21,2025. For some reason we lost our bag in one of the shuttle service. Daria, night duty front office service staff was very helpful and kind. She assisted us in reporting the issue and closely help us follow up the organizer of the shuttle until we found our bag. Please extend our heartfelt appreciation for her effort and efficient service. Thank you

Excellent hotel in the heart of St Petersburg. Service is excellent, breakfast is exceptional. Staff is very friendly and helpful, concierge arranged everything what we needed to visit, eat, drink and more. Place to stay in St Petersburg

Great location but poor service. No one to took the luggage at the time of check in and the restaurant people were a bit uncooperative to warm bread. Rooms are compact and doesn’t have the kempenski standard Breakfast spread was also slightly limited. But proximity to the hermitage museum Place is neat and clean.

This is our second stay here (previously the hotel was under Kempinski name). And we enjoyed it again. ||||The location is perfect - close to Winter Palace, Nevski prospect/avenue, and yet slightly off the business. ||||This time we stayed at bi-level suites, which was unique. Although it does not have Moika River view; it was in quiet area. ||||The staff treats you like a family. Kids get treats, and staff is always kind and helpful. ||||The breakfast buffett is plentiful, and you can also order additional items like egg Benedict and pancakes (“blinchiki”) from a menu.||||It is place you want to return.

Wonderful service and great location. ||||We stayed as a family of four. The suite had a view on Moika river (as requested ). The room design was a bit odd, while still lovely. ||The bathroom was a bit on smaller side for a suite was bright and well-designed. ||||The location was unbeatable - just across the Winter Palace square. ||||We enjoyed the breakfast - still plenty of choices, and the servers can have some special items ordered for you too. My wife felt that selection of items was lower than expected, but this issue was sadly across the Kempinski hotels in general. ( I hope now as independent hotel, they would be able to expend it 😊). ||||They do have a fitness center with sauna and cold bath, but no formal pool. ||||The best thing about this hotel is its team and great service. They are all kind, smiling, and helpful at every request. From the moment your car arrives, they great you and eager to help you yo enjoy the hotel and the city. Their concierge is always busy arranging tours and information. ||||We also loved how they treat kids - from complimentary toys, kids bath products, robes to evening milk & cookies to kids toy car and crayons. ||||It was great.

We loved every minute of our stay at this historic hotel. There are plenty of antiques and art masterpieces at every turn, and the suite was spacious and uniquely decorated. We also loved the experience at Bellevue Restaurant. The incredible 360-degree views and delicious food are reason enough to visit, whether you’re staying at the hotel or not. Thanks for the warm hospitality!

Nothing you can like in this hotel! Cleaning is bad, not responding to our calls, bed are not comfortable, big issue with lights and switchs; (all can open all). Does not worth the money at all. Old in all aspects. our view on the lobby! noise and lights through our window because they cannot close lobby lights!! fittness center closed along our stay.

I have mixed feeling about the place. It has a great location for sightseeing. It is a stone’s throw from Hermitage. You can see it from some of the rooms facing the Moika river. ||||The breakfast is good (nor as good as it used to be). Nice selection of foods, good quality, attentive service. In the past they used to serve Roederer champagne, now it is some cheep local bubbly wine. And so long and so forth. ||||The cheapest rooms are on the small side. ||||Poor sound proofing in general. You can hear people talking in the corridor when they are passing by your room. You can hear noise from the room next door as well. Soundproofing of rooms is non-existent - walls must have been made out of cardboard. I have tried to complain at the reception. I was shown 5 rooms which were worse or as bad as mine, so I did not move. No attempt of apology or trying to resolve my issue - when I was departing the hotel on the last day I was given some small chocolates which were supposed to sweeten the pill. I thought this was rather pathetic. ||||There is some design problem with a/c. You can get very hot or very cold. I opted to switch it off completely, which was not a 5 star experience. There was too much humming noise from the ventilation outside - so keeping the window open was not an issue. ||||Overall, I see a massive deterioration in service - I have been a loyal customer for years. The soundproofing was an issue during my last stay as well. Having said that if you think about what you are paying in EUR these days (my rate was circa EUR130 per night), one should not complain or expect too much (in the past it was more given the FX rate). ||||So mixed feelings but next time we would stay elsewhere.
