Our stay at Grand Hotel Moika 22 was memorable not just for the hotel itself, but for the kindness of its staff.
We would like to give a very special thank you to a gentleman working the night shift on 29 December 2025, when we arrived around midnight. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name, but we truly hope the hotel can identify him. We had an issue paying for our car parking due to not having a Russian bank account, and without hesitation he went out of his way to help us resolve the situation. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help meant so much to us in what could have been a very stressful moment. Please do pass on our sincere gratitude to him once again.
As foreign visitors, we were naturally a little limited by what could be paid using Western cards, meaning we had to work within the cash we had brought with us. While we would normally opt for a larger room, the room we stayed in was perfectly adequate for our family, comfortably accommodating us along with a cot for our baby. It was clean, well maintained, and exactly what we needed.
Overall, this hotel delivers not just comfort and a fantastic location, but something far more important genuine hospitality. Acts of kindness like the one we experienced make all the difference and are what truly stay with you long after the trip ends.
Thank you again to the wonderful night staff member who helped us you made our arrival in Saint Petersburg far smoother than it could have been.
