I’ve stayed at this hotel in Tijuana about ten times now, and it’s by far my favorite place to stay whenever I visit the city. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making every visit a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From check-in to check-out, they go out of their way to ensure guests feel at home. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds that guarantee a good night’s sleep. I especially appreciate that the rooms have windows that can be opened for fresh air—a feature not always common in hotels these days. The decor throughout the property is consistently beautiful, and it really shines during the holiday season. Their Christmas decorations are always festive and thoughtfully arranged, adding an extra touch of charm to the stay. For dining and drinks, the hotel offers multiple options. Whether you want a quiet cocktail, a casual drink, or a full meal, there’s a location that fits the mood. The variety of restaurants on-site is impressive, offering something for every taste. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere in a way that keeps me coming back. Whether you’re visiting Tijuana for business or leisure, this is the place to stay. I can confidently say it’s my top choice every time I’m in town.

After a week long stay, I can happily say that my experience at this hotel has been exceptional!! All staff, from bell boys to room service to house keeping were incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone had a smile on their face and made sure I felt comfortable during my stay. This hotel is kept EXTREMELY clean, which is something I greatly respect. Hot hot hot bath water and excellent bedding elevated my room experience even more ! I appreciate all this hotel has to explore and offer, there’s something to do everywhere! I would recommend anyone to stay here while in Tijuana 😊

Google
TLDR: Service sucked Room: Dated and bad pillow Bath: No hot water and Very dated with odd faucets With so many great hotels in the area, I dont think I will be retuning. Which is unfortunate as Im staying in TJ weekly while working. Service: At check-in, I felt ignored almost the entire interaction even though she was helping me (if that makes sense). Almost like I wasnt even there. For dinner I ate at the Plaza Cafe and ordered the New York Tacos (ribeye) and the wings. It took over 30 minutes for the tacos to arrive, and almost an hour for the wings to arrive. Even after asking the waiter several times what the hold up was. He said some dumb excuse and I could tell he was lying. He tried to tell that was normal for wings. After they arrived I took them to go and couldnt believe it took an hour for these (See photo). Look at that gross celery! I talk to the manager and asked him, before he knew what my complaint was, how long it would take to order wings and tacos and he replied 5-10 mins. What it should actually take. Then I let him know what happened. But he did nothing but say sorry for wasting an hour of my life for lousy wings with gross veggies Room: Overall the room is dated and starting to show its age with knicks in furniture and other scuffs and scratches. Was spacious with unique layout and a great view of the golf course and surrounding hills. Bed was comfortable but pillow weren't Bath: Very very dated Shower never got hot, only slightly warmer than room temperature. Faucets on sink barely clear the counter and its difficult to use to even just wash your hands. Also has a purified water faucet that has no drain below it and will pour directly on the counter with a glass underneath.

Horrible stay. I’ve been here twice now and I definitely won’t come back. For starters I accidentally messed up my reservation and booked the wrong night. When I went to change it I was charged $124 dollar fee, and supposedly the hotel wasn’t the one who charged it. Secondly, I was celebrating my first anniversary with my wife and they couldn’t have cared less. I work in the industry (hospitality) so I know how far great service and genuine interest goes. There was barely a congrats by the front desk agent, however no amenity, and it wasn’t noted on our reservation. As for the room situation it was decent your average hotel room, but the beds were really uncomfortable as well as the pillows. There was no mini-fridge or microwave as well. Lastly, we ordered room service and their prices don’t match the menu, they automatically charge delivery fees and gratuity, which should be stated on the menu. The food was also subpar, burger was overcooked and bacon and topping seemed old and low quality, they gave me like 20 little shoestring fries. If this is one of the best hotels Tijuana has to offer I feel like the industry is just leaps beyond in terms of overall experience for guests used to staying in other countries. And look at the cake we paid $6 for, literally store bought from a store like Sorianna or calimax lol.

I was out in TJ this past Saturday 12/13. I booked this hotel in which we always stay on our trips to Mexico. I made a reservation 2hrs before arriving to the hotel. When I arrived they advised I had booked for the wrong date 12/20. I asked them to please change it being I had accidently booked for the wrong date and the reservation was just done within 2hrs. They told me they couldn't because the department that handled the booking were not there. I spoke with the manager and asked if there was anything he could do to help. He was short and did not seem to care. . Expedia suggested for me to make a new reservation and pay the difference and that they would reach out to the Grand Hotel Tijuana and let them know it was an honest mistake that would have been corrected within the 2hrs. I re booked and just received notification from Expedia that the hotel did not want to work with me. I am upset because this is a resort I always stay in when I go and for them not to care it's upsetting. ( please make sure to double, triple check your dates before you book with this hotel, being they do not care to assist) This was our last time we stay here. When it comes down to customer service, they do not care. A simple mistake that was caught within the 2hrs from booking. I could understand if days had passed but not within the 2hrs. Upsetting.. The Hotel never looses.

My husband and I have been coming to the grand hotel for a few years while having dental work done. We have received excellent service at the plaza cafe! Ra'ul Fragozo was our waiter on our last visit ,and made each morning a pleasure with his friendly personality! Thank you! Will and Becky Coblentz

Google
Terrible customer service, they will lie and steal your money in all sorts of ways, they are dishonest and management is a joke, they will treat you like a prey because they know you can’t sue them easily. They ripped me off three times on one trip. And when brought to their attention it meant nothing to them. They see tourists like ATM machines that need to be emptied out at any cost. Plus the rooms and hallways are completely outdated. It feels like a cheap hotel that is 30 stories high. Would never ever stay here again, there are several better options for same price or a little more.

Google
Our stay at Grand Hotel Tijuana was very disappointing. While the room looked fairly clean at first, the bathroom had a strong musty smell, and the front door did not close properly, which raised safety concerns. The lobby smelled like cigarettes, and the parking situation was very disorganized and stressful. At night it was extremely loud, with music playing all night long. I am not sure if it was coming from a neighboring room or the hotel itself, but it made it impossible to rest. There were also obvious adult oriented workers outside and in the lobby, which was unexpected. Based on other reviews, I mistakenly believed this would be a good family friendly hotel, but that was not our experience.

Yelp
My stay was excellent. The property was very clean, and the view was beautiful. The restrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. I also ordered menudo through room service and was pleasantly surprised by the quality -- it was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, a great experience with excellent attention to cleanliness and comfort.

Yelp
There was nothing "Grand" about this hotel. First off 3 times during my 5 night stay I was left 1 or no towels. Hot water never worked. There was no fridge in my room and all others we went with had a fridge. We had two separate reservations with same room type and instead of keeping same room were asked to checkout, take all our luggage and recheck-in even though we were given same exact room! There was what appeared to be rust/mold in bathroom. The shower ceiling was leaking. Also, it just felt like the staff was watching us every second. My kids were having a snack at an open table in the lobby and we were told they could not each in the lobby. Every two second my kids were being told they are being too loud, when they were clearly not. The hotel recommended a taxi which charge 3 times the going rate. Overall horrible experience!

Yelp
I think that sometimes being so big isn't that good for you... that's what happened in my stay this last time... checking in was good, I got my room, VIP with Expedia at the 28 th floor, nice, I stayed two nights no big deal but, when I came back the first day oh surprise, my bed was done but my bathroom wasn't no clean towels, no bathroom cleaning. After a couple of calls they brought the towels but they left the used there. Other unpleasant thing the parking nonsense. You get a guest fare but , has a price, you have to bring back to reception your ticket every time you go out meaning you have to check each ticket every time you go out two, three times a day!!! They have to work to fix their service... I think I wouldn't stay there anymore...

Yelp
This hotel is very nice it's an American style hotel with lots of rooms and parking underneath. The people working there are very nice and very professional. The rooms are very nice and clean with killer views and they also have 24 hour room service . I think this might be the best hotel in all of Tijuana . I will definitely stay here again.

Lupe G.

Yelp
The sheets on the bed were nasty dirty and the hotel didn't do anything about after we let them know

Yelp
Spent one night at the Grand Hotel Tijuana. Should of made it a reservation for the weekend. Located in a nicer area of the city, the hotel was very nice. Plenty of underground parking, friendly staff. Room was clean and exceeded my expectations. We had dinner in the restaurant and headed off to the casino located in the lobby. In the morning, had brunch at their buffet which was fully loaded with so many options. Would of loved to have stayed longer to enjoy the pool. Will definitely go back again.

Yelp
CASINO!!! Had no problem with the hotel. Food was good, location was fine. However stay very clear of the casino. Once you walk through the door english, understanding, sign language etc become nonexistent. Dumped quite a bit of money trying to burn some time. Ended up with $8950. 4 people showed me how to switch the machine to show dollars or pesos. The machine takes american money via card. Ask the attendant, yes thats correct. Before i cash out, is this correct? 182,000 pesos or 8950 dollars yes thats right. Oh but they dont understand or speak English anymore when you want to cashout. Took pictures of both on the machine before cashing out. No comprende. Use a english to Spanish translator on the phone...head shaking, walk away. Manager? Gerente? El director? No comprende. Keep trying to scam me into taking 440 dollars. Ask the membership desk, no, hotel desk, no. Concierge that was so helpful when tipping him. Uh no we cant get involved with that. You should try again tomorrow but you are probably screwed. Yep same deal the next day. Nice freaking criminal con game racquet. Had to check out and get back to san diego. Spent most of my stay fighting that bs.

Yelp
This is a pretty nice hotel, very safe, and looks very nice. The golf course in the back is nice to look at, didn't try playing. The rooms were nice, adhering overpriced from what I think they should be. One downside is paid for the room in USD, they added a currency conversion fee afterwards, a bit of a downer. I would array here again, didn't eat any of their food yet restaurants like very nice.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying : I got the best massage here !!! Paid $100 USD CASH for 1hr massage. Thank you Edith I got a pedicure, manicure and hair cut for $40 total I took a free tour to the down town area that was fun Hotel is beautifully decorated for Dia De Los Muertos and also has an Art Gallery on level C Hotel has several restaurants, Emma, Plaza C, 4500 bar Salons, convenient store, roof top pool, jacuzzi, several bars, valet parking and an underground parking garage, 24 hour gym. Food is GOOD HERE (separate reviews for the restaurants) Most employees are nice and courteous. Unfortunately there where some unpleasant room service employees I read the directions for laundry.... I called at 7 am to let them know I had a bag ready They told me to leave it outside of the door, I did And NO ONE CAME TO PICK IT UP!!!! Major wompers super disappointed I woke up early for nothing !! Room has a refrigerator and a safe (fridge had a hair in it) Water runs hot, beds are hard Not too comfy TV has HBO and Netflix and many English channels Casino: you need to go through a metal detector to enter No photos allowed Tons of security, need to show your ID they scan it ... You cannot eat or drink any outside food/beverages in the lobby. For example if you have a Starbucks & a pastry you cannot eat it in the lobby You need to go to your room and eat it or go outside the Hotel & finish it We were approached by security and told "cameras" can see us eating/drinking outside food Hotel plays music and most of the time the music is way too loud Sometimes they played English oldies sometimes it was Mexican music. It varies This hotel/Casino is close to a nice outside mall and across the street is another good well known restaurant

Yelp
$135 USD for basically no air conditioning. I've had it "on" for hours and it's still over 72 Fahrenheit in my room. It's stuffy and uncomfortable as hell. I can't justify staying here again...

Yelp
Love this spot for the price and the staff. Always trying to go the extra mile . Easy access from the boarder and TJ airport

Yelp
I was attacked by some woman at the pool. Her boyfriend asked me where I was from and who I was with and I said Atlanta and my husband. I am a 60 year old woman and have been married to my husband all my life. My husband said he thinks she got jealous because he said something to me. The staff did nothing. They just said she promised not to do it again. The hotel is also full of tip hungry employees and they charge you accordingly. In other words you can buy something once and the prices change. I do not recommend this hotel. It's dangerous especially if you are a senior citizen. No one should attack an old lady for no reason.

Jay J.

Yelp
It's a decent place but BEWARE of the bed bugs! I didn't realize what was happening at first because I had no encounters with any bugs outside. Had to throw away luggage and strip down to my underwear before entering my house to shower immediately.
google avatar

Don H.

Yelp
I've stayed on many occasions because I feel it is an excellent value for the money. Rooms are good. Lobby is good because you can sit in the sports book and watch the game. The pool and jacuzzi are great. I didn't see any waiters out, so if you're looking for that kind of service, not so much. I give the restaurants a solid C+. They don't have the spectacular Mexican chefs that have spoiled us. Prepare to not be dazzled. But they are open for business. Plenty of parking. Once again, the price is great for what you get. If they hired an executive chef, they would be the hot ticket in TJ.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
The rooms are roomy. The hotel is kept very clean. The pool side service is amazing.

Karl E.

Yelp
Nice location next to golf course. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and amenities. Staff very attentive and go out of the way to assist. Property is starting to show its age slightly but very clean.
google avatar

Nita S.

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times and this is the only time that I've actually left a review. I'll start out by saying that my hotel room was clean and decently stocked with pillows which is a plus for me. My room had warm water at best in the shower. They sent a maintenance worker who told me to keep the water running for 10 mins but even after doing so- the water was warm at best. Luckily the sink reached a hotter temperature and my boyfriend used the ice buckets to help me rinse with hotter water (I had surgery and was staying here for my first week of recovery). The employees here are the rudest that I've ever encountered in the hospitality industry! Maybe it's a cultural thing? In the states- the employee seem to be overly nice and here- they are just flat out rude! Does management even care about "customer service"? I think the rudest is the room service phone guy! "ANYTHING ELSE!!??!!??" after every single item that I order! It feels as if the staff hates people from other countries- at least that's how I felt! There's NO WAY that this hotel is worth $150USD per night and I'll likely never come back. I don't think they care though and that's the biggest problem! Management- Send your staff to a customer service workshop. Teach them to be kind and helpful! Remember- without customers- there's no business!

Marisa A.

Yelp
Be careful the lady downstairs working at the bar...I ordered a small cup of cappuccino is usually 3 dollars. I know the price well because I stayed there often. Today I ordered an extra shot of Expresso so I thought it shouldn't be much. when I got the bill it was 10 dollars triple the price. I was shocked I asked her why. She said because of the expresso shot..there's no way 1 extra shot it's 7 dollars..she ripped me off..be careful and make sure you ask about the prices Even fancy hotels have scumbags working and trying to steal money.

Yelp
Stayed 1 night, checked out Tuesday. Nice hotel, considering. Not $150USD nice, but we felt safe. Hotel restaurant was very expensive. I had BBQ Lamb. It was served in a large plate with oily broth water, and it was the opposite of tender. I also had a Long Island Ice Tea; medium tall skinny glass. The flavor was ok, but they must have used 1/2 shots, very weak. Weird thing. I parked at the hotel, and gout our ticket validated. When we were leaving, I still had to pay $1USD/$5Mex. I've never stayed at a hotel where the validation isn't enough. I kept wondering why the extra charge for parking. I feel like it was a scam, not enough to stop and question but at the end of a year (guessimating) $300/yr. Worse yet. I'm not sure feeling like you got scammed is the lasting memories the owner/operator was wanting anyone to take home. Maybe the charge is customary, and reasonable then it is just the impression that is problematic.

Don A.

Yelp
omg my wife was returning from restroom out at pool we are Americans so a guy (Hispanic) in the pool asked her a who she was here with my wife answered her husband then started to walk away when a jealous woman(Hispanic) pushed her in the pool. my wife and I are senior citizens I requested for hotel manager to show up after which he heard me but did not respond then he talked with the guy in pool and the woman in Spanish the manager then walked away I had to hunt him down to determine what was going to happen and he responded that the woman promised not to do it again and was allowed to stay. I expressed my objection but was told that I was welcome to call police but if I did it would not work to my favor.

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights while going to the dentalalvarez.com and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the sheets were really soft. The pillows are way too fat and hard, so bring your own if you can. Towels are nice sized and good quality. The room code only has cheap powder creamer which is too bad, and the housekeeper wouldn't give us more coffee for the second day. We added a night on and should have gotten a fresh coffee packet but she didn't give another so I found a guy that got us one. The food choices are great in the hotel, and there are many restaurants immediately outside the hotel which is in a good area. We felt safe the whole time. The pool area is really great with cabanas available if you get there early. The 3rd night the jacuzzi was too cool, but they were going to raise the temp. Complimentary cocktails on checking in was a nice surprise. We are at all of the options while in the hotel, and there are no complaints on any. There is a small cafe in the casino that many don't know about with homemade style Mexican food. The buffet on level P had a wide variety of choices. We had dinner at Emmas, which was a fine dining restaurant. Great food and good prices. The music was loud and more of a dance mix and didn't go with the ambiance. Room service menu was extensive and we opted the last night to stay in and have it again. We will come back as we have more dental work to do in about 2 months. Nora at the front desk needs to smile and could be more personable, but the majority of the staff were very friendly. There is a retail area attached to the hotel and we found a great optical store that my hubby was able to get an exam and box of his multifocal contacts for only $109 and they will mail the contacts to us. That was a nice surprise to be scott to take care of that besides all the dental work. There are many Americans staying in the hotel for different medical procedures.
google avatar

Germanie J.

Yelp
We stayed here after my mom got a medical procedure. The 10th and 11th floors are for medical patients. Room was nothing impressive, it looks like an actual hospital room. My sheets on the bed were stained and there was hair in the bed. We called down several times to get someone to change them and finally the manager came down and took pictures of the sheets and comforter. Hotel lobby is nice. There is a bar area and a French restaurant. Bar margaritas are really good. There is also a hallway that leads to a medical mall. I tried the buffet because I heard they had good food. It was just ok. Some items were cold and appeared to have been sitting up there for awhile. The pool area is nice and over looks the street and golf course. Overall it was just ok. Oh take precaution when showering, the hot water does NOT get hot!
google avatar

Eliz M.

Yelp
Staying here now. Staff is nice but not impressed otherwise. Super loud. Room is hot inside. Phone doesn't work in room. Wifi doesn't work and no cell service in room. Will go back to staying at the quartz
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Best decision to stay here 5 star hotel. Customer service was by far the best service I've encounter at a hotel. The Views are amazing. Definitely coming back again. Room service was never delayed and food was really good.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
The rooms are clean but the layout is a little awkward. The bathrooms are clean as well. On weekends breakfast starts at 8am which if you get up early like me is s little impractical. The elevators are usually fast and spacious. You need to use the keypad to enable your floor. The internet is very slow.
google avatar

Toni L.

Yelp
Gosh not sure why this place has such high reviews?! I know this isn't a 5 star hotel & going to TJ, don't expect much luxury, but still, is it that hard to clean up the bathroom? On the toilet seat was a couple of hairs & in the sink there was a hair there as well - see photos. On the mirror to the bathroom, there were smudges, from IDK what. After seeing the bathroom not being thoroughly cleaned, I was hesitant to actually sleep in the bed. You can see that the whole place is trying its hardest to be fancy as it can in poverty stricken TJ - they are trying its hardest to sound like this awesome place to stay with a casino & a bar right in the middle of the lobby. The overall layout of the room was rather interesting - it was curved & the tv seemed very far away from the bed. The only good thing about this place? Our room was on the 31st floor & was overlooking a golf course. At least parking only cost 90 cents (USD). I'm not sure if if would stay here again due to the bathroom not being cleaned.
google avatar

Erica P.

Yelp
After having the best vacation in Cancun with the family. We were exhausted ready to get some rest after long flights. Every time we come to TJ this is our favorite place to stay when we come to Mexico. Great customer service. Our check in got a little frustrated and it was passed midnight and it was late. But, Orlando and Erica on the late night shift and in the morning front desk when we checked out made it a great experience. Everything was just perfect and the bell staff that helps with the luggage and valet parking. Everything was amazing and outstanding experience to stay there again! We made the right choice like always! Thank you Orlando for executing a great and professional manner this night for us. We will be back like always.

Monica F.

Yelp
Love this place all staff was helpful and friendly vey clean place and buffet was delicious.
google avatar

Cindy G.

Yelp
My mom and I stayed here after a procedure our family had within the same building. The rooms are spacious, clean and nice. The staff at the check in desks are not the nicest so that would be my only criticism. For such a well known and nice hotel you would think they would be a little friendlier. It's close to the border and has a food court within the hotel also. Beds are comfy and so are the pillows, but then again I always like having about 8 pillows to build my pillow fort and I must say these pillows were hella comfy!! Their concierge staff is very nice. The hotel itself also has a bar once you walk in. It's clean and modern. It's a great hotel to stay at. I already have reservations for it for a festival I am going to in a couple of months :) happy yelping mis amigos!
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Stayed on the 10th floor which is set up for medical tourist. I was here during Covid - the practices were consistent with best practices in other hotels I have recently visited in the US & Mexico. Parking below, make sure to validate your ticket to pay the nominal parking fee. Didn't visit the casino on the first floor or use any food service. Room was fine. Bed and sheet quality was fair. Bathroom and AC were good. Like most casino hotel, in room TV was light, English language programing was very minimal and internet was poor. Coffee maker and fridge in the room. Sept 2020
google avatar

Maria J.

Yelp
Hotel is convienetly located near restaurants and nightlife. Front lobby and rooms are exceptionally clean. Front desk and bellboys are very helpful at whatever time you call or see them. However the service at the lobby bar was not the best. Pool was crowded and outdated. Live music throughout Saturday at the pool area. There is live music at the lobby on Friday evenings. This hotel is marketed as a "casino" and that is not the case. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Mira P.

Yelp
Clean spacious hotel with a traditional old school lobby. Small bar but well light with sexy blue lights, with a little boom box that plays the tunes. The room was very roomy, great A/C. Bathroom was big had a tub shower. Products were weak and I advise you to bring your own. The products left you feeling like you need another scrub and rise. Towels are crunchy but this is part of the experience. For the price this hotel rocks and doesn't break the budget. On the weekend they have a buffet which looks decent and they have live cheesy music. Room service was medium price range, didn't go through the late night dialing but looked at the menu prices and were about $12-$15 so not bad but don't know about the portions or quality. I would recommend this spot it's in a decent location where you have a selection of restaurants and bars around so you can stumble home. Can't beat the price!
google avatar

Genesis D.

Yelp
Hotel is good for location but they constantly want you to buy something if you're going to be at the pool or sit on the chairs/cabana you HAVE to buy something or they won't let you sit and relax they'll constantly send over someone to ask you if your going to buy drink or the cabana and seats are unavailable until you do so. Customer service is also very un existant here we called 5x to room service to bring up ice to our room we even left for dinner and it never got to us we had to go to the Oxxo across the street since they don't have ice machines in the building and the customer service isn't there
google avatar

Kelly A.

Yelp
Ive stayed here three times and this is by far one of the best hotels you'll find in TJ. It has so many amenities like a casino, restaurant, and bar area. There is also a large cafeteria style area downstairs, just ask the lobby person how to get to it. The best experience you'll have, I love it!

Maricela E.

Yelp
The place was clean, and that's why I'm giving 2 stars. The check-in sucked. They didn't tell you much about what goeon in the hotel or whata around the hotel. If you take your own car they make you pay for parking when you are staying at the hotel.
google avatar

Dennis L.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for for a week and I wish that I went elsewhere. Before staying at this hotel I read the reviews, most of the reviews are about how horrible the service is. I figured it was just some uptight people writing some bad reviews but after staying here I realized that it true. My first complaint was when someone walked into my room. The hotel double booked my room, I really don't know how this happened but I really did not like that. The clerk said it will not happen again. So I thought. My second complaint was when it happened again. This time I'm pissed. So I decided to talk to the manager and ask what's going on. While talking to the manager I'm getting the feeling like he thinks I just wanted something for free, so he tells me the 2 drinks at the bar are free. Lol, I don't want free shit. I want privacy. This hotel really is fucked up. Also someone that is head of the hotel should fire the manager.

Yelp
The rooms were clean but that's the only good thing. My wife and I stayed in the care part of the hotel and they decided it was ok to do construction right outside our window at 7 am 2 days in a row. The walls are also extremely thin between rooms and you can hear exactly what the other guests are doing. Also the service was terrible we asked for a spoon to be sent to our hotel room and they wouldn't e8 it's a little ridiculous they didn't try and go above and beyond. We are generous when it comes to tipping. The care part of the hotel does not provide any medical staff all they give you is a medical bed that is really old, and a stool in the shower that's it no one checks on you. so if you need a medical facility I would recommend you look elsewhere as this one is not worth the cost. Hotel Ticuan is much nicer if you want a nice hotel.

Yelp
Hotel is well located in TJ. Room was ok . On 20 th floor , WiFi does not work . Tough for me here trying to download financials and write email ! Very inconvenient . Went for to the coffee/ bar and sat down .they were no one . The bar tender told me to Move because it was the table of the owner ( ?)I laughed because the Grand Hotel is owned by a chain owned by investors (?)The bartender got upset because I laughed and left without taking out order . Rude! Then he came back and told us to go elsewhere outside the hotel and that it would be faster service !whaoooo he has attitude ! Maybe lazy? And does not want to work ???! I come monthly in TJ for extensive dental work . Last time I am checking in grand Hôtel Which deserve less than 3 stars

Yelp
Outstanding customer service, great location beautiful tall building. Hotel has an excellent location, its near bars, restaurants, convenient stores, shopping centers you name it it's probably within walking distance. Customer Service was A+, parking was $15 pesos with validation I used valet and they were great. I ordered 2 bottles of water past midnight and seriously they were knocking on my door 5 minutes later, excelente! The only reason I took a star off is the hotel or my room at least was in need of renovations, it still felt like the 80's. However there were no issues everything was working/running as it should. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
A very nice hotel with a view. I wish the jacuzzi wasn't so busy all the time. Overall a good stay!

Yelp
If you have kids DO NOT stay here. If you expect helpful or courteous staff DO NOT stay here. We booked two rooms, called the hotel to confirm they had adjoining rooms. They confirmed. When we checked in they could only find one room. After 30+ minutes of arguing the unpleasant and unhelpful Sofia found our reservation. Got to our rooms, not only did they smell musty and like stale cigarettes and hookers, but They were not adjoining. Went back to the front desk to be told the hotel does not offer adjoining rooms. After more arguing we were supposedly issued a refund. We travel frequent hour 4 children and this is hands down the worst customer service I have ever received. No apology, they didn't even offer to comp our parking fee. Sure they have a casino and a golf course. But with awful service that's hardly an amenity worth paying for.

Yelp
So sad I'm having to write this. My family and i have been coming here for years, since I was a baby, and it has been our go to hotel for when visiting Tijuana. It was such a nice place but recently it hasn't been a good experience. Staff are rude and not helpful. For our party of 3 they only brought 2 big towels and no other small towels and one of them was dirty with brown gunk all over it. We asked them to bring more and it took them an hour just to come but they didn't even bring the small towels. When we asked them to bring them, they said it wasn't their fault that the staff didn't restock properly and then they said they didn't have enough towels so we didn't get any. They also only brought one packet of coffee and one mug for the 3 of us and when we asked for more they wanted to charge us extra. Parking is $15 every time you go in and out. The first room we got before being moved was very outdated and ugly and the sink was clogged. I understand if they are low staffed but I don't get why they can't take accountability for any of it. Such a shame as now my family will not be staying here anymore. And I don't care for any lousy scripted apology that I see them leaving on other posts, they do not care and neither do I.

Yelp
I have stayed at many hotels in my life but Grand Hotel Tijuana has been one of the best by far. The presidential suite is amazing. It has a huge open living room, a small conference room, a two bedroom, and a huge master bedroom with a walk in closet and personal sauna. I was so blown away by how beautiful the room was. It was even better than our suite in Las Vegas. And they completely exceeded my expectations with their service. They have these shuttles outside the hotel, always ready to take you wherever you want to go. They treated my family very kind and would wait outside if we just needed to see something really quick. And room service is incredible!! I ordered a milkshake last night from room service at 2am and they got me the milkshake in less than 3 minutes. Be ready to tip everyone that serves you here because they very well deserve it! If I were to stay in Tijuana again, I'd definitely stay at the Grand Hotel. I also don't normally review on Yelp but I just felt the need to because this place was so refreshingly nice.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to stay when visiting Tijuana! The hotel service is great. It offers many great things, including a casino. They have great COVID-19 regulations! We felt very safe when visiting! I love their bar services. I also like the fact they offer cab services! It's in a convenient accessible area! Always pleased to stay here!

Yelp
Well, I haven't had a bad meal, actually, the food has been exceptional; however, I've never checked in to a hotel and felt so unwelcome. As a tourist, I know people appreciate money coming into their country but we were still treated so rudely at Check-in. I mentioned how unwelcome we felt and we were apologized to.....and given comp drinks, but still felt hated on. I'm not sure we will come back.
