Grand Hotel Union Eurostars

We really loved everything about this hotel. Our room was lovely and well appointed. The staff was extremely nice, and almost everyone spoke perfect English. We really appreciated how well the housekeeping staff kept our room and the whole hotel clean. It was so nice to come back to our room after a long day to a perfectly refreshed room. Our room even smelled clean...not perfume-y, just clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us good advice about the city, visiting the castle, restaurants, and the general layout of Ljubljana. The breakfast offerings were stunning. We've never had such a diverse and high quality breakfast spread in a hotel. The hotel is perfectly located and allowed us to walk the city, meet tours and transportation transfers. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and is visible from the castle tower. We did not use the pool or spa as we were really busy touring around Slovenia. We think that the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars did everything just a little bit better than any other hotel we've ever stayed in.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we were super satisfied + we got room upgrade because it was my girfriends birthday. Friendly staff was helpful and our room was super clean. We parked our car in the garage and even one night when the garage was full - hotel stuff offered me to leave the key so they can park it when there is a free spot. Our dog was also welcomed and felt like at home. All recommendations!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was very clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, with shops easily accessible nearby. I was also lucky enough to experience the Christmas market right down the street.

Eurostars uHotel is located right next to the Grand Hotel Union in the center of Ljubljana. This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the Preseren Square, Triple Bridge, farmers market and the riverside restaurants. They have a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet and even has a gluten-free section. Overall, would definitely choose to stay at Eurostars again.

Great location for exploring the city and very friendly staff. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting, especially if you want to be able to stop for a break throughout the day as you're exploring the city.

This is a great place. Loved the location near presheren square and triple bridge. I enjoyed visiting with Pavlic at the front desk as well, he goes out of his way to help. I enjoyed Luca and Blaz’ company as well. Breakfast was great, rooms were great. Parking garage was entertaining for sure but works. Glad I stayed here and will again. My son and I got haircuts in the barber shop, good experience there too. These people are very good at what they do and it shows!|Thank you

(+) fantastic location in the center of the city, next to all the attractions, transport ,etc; on the other hand you can feel the age of the hotel but also they make great effort to maintain / clean it. (+) the room I've had was big, nice view, even a balcony (+) access to a pool (but you must book an hour) (+) nice and efficient check-in/check-out (+/-) the breakfast is OK, big range of choices, lots of space but is somehow not what expected from a 4 stars hotel (quality and especially the presentation of the food). It feels a bit cheap, especially when you consider that is shared with the neighboring Grand Hotel Union Eurostars, which has in theory an even higher standard (-) the card system to the rooms is faulty, I had to change my card on each day of my stay

Nice pool, good breakfast, excellent location, good wifi. As for the rest, disappointing, especially given that it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Our €200+ a night room had ineffective AC (external temp was 32 degrees), a squeaking bed frame, an old mattress, seasonally inappropriate bedding, and very low water pressure in the shower. We complained after the first night, and desk staff were polite and responsive. We were moved to a room where the AC actually worked, and the bed was comfortable. Water pressure still low, shower temp variable, and drainage poor. In summary - there are too many rooms in this hotel that simply aren’t worth the money.
