Grand Hyatt Goa

So good things first- A huge and beautiful property with lawns and away from the hustle and bustle for a peaceful stay.The swimming pool and the jacuzzi being the highlights.Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Cleanliness is top notch. On the ground reality, you will be caught up in the hustle you want to avoid if you are going in the wedding season. Late November. There were two weddings going on in the property when we arrived. We thought we will take a peaceful walk during sunset but were caught amidst a full blown baraat, so noisy that it was even audible from the pool area. Coming to the sunset in the provate beach, there was construction work on top of baraat so far from peaceful. The reason you book a resort is primarily to avoid these issues. Secondly, dinner service so slow that I have no words. While the breakfast was amazing, they were overburdened with room service orders. They brought our dinner in parts and the chef came and offered cake to compensate for 1 hr 20 minutes delay. While i do appreciate the gesture but I would rather get what I have paid for instead of additional sugar items offered. Thirdly, the in resort car service because of the weddings was a chaos. Sometimes the carts seemed unavailable. I understand the need to make profits from weddings, but when guests book a 5 star they have expectations wrt quality, and experience for the price. Honestly, it was not worth the money you will pay.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Goa was nothing short of exceptional. Everything about the property felt regal yet incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and thoughtful, making us feel truly welcomed. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly stood out for us was the food & the service— absolutely outstanding. Each restaurant offered a unique experience, and every meal was delicious, well-presented, and memorable. Grand Hyatt Goa strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. It’s a place where you can unwind, indulge, and feel taken care of. We left with wonderful memories and would love to return again.

A Beautiful Evening at The Verandah – Grand Hyatt Goa Visited the Grand Hyatt Goa earlier this evening and had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Verandah. The ambiance was perfect, the food was delightful, and the entire place felt so warm and welcoming. A special mention to Anamika, who managed our table so beautifully. Her hospitality, attentiveness, and friendly nature truly elevated our experience. The service was absolutely awesome! Overall, a beautiful experience — one that we’ll definitely remember. Highly recommend!

It was truly an outstanding experience with a feeling of epic luxury. We had a lot of fun with different activities like aqua sailing, going to the casino and playing video games. This hotel is worth visiting, we had a blast.

We stayed at Grand Hyatt Goa for our anniversary trip and absolutely loved the experience. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff explained everything clearly. The resort is beautifully maintained and though some renovation was going on near the bay wall, it didn’t affect our stay at all.|Hospitality was top-notch. They surprised us with complimentary wine, cake and a handwritten note from Steffi for our anniversary, which was really special. Our room was also upgraded. A special mention for Vivek, who was fantastic during breakfast and made us feel truly pampered.|Food and ambience at both restaurants Chulha and Verandah were excellent, with very well-trained staff. My daughter loved the place, especially the kids’ park and kids zone. There is a bay but no beach and only limited access to the bay water, but the overall atmosphere of the resort more than makes up for it.|Only drawback is that it is better to avoid visiting during peak wedding season, as some areas of the hotel were restricted due to a wedding, and a lot of staff and arrangements were happening in the park area. Also, there are not many shops outside or nearby, so plan accordingly.|We also stayed at Taj Exotica in South Goa during the same trip. While Taj has a very good beach, in every other aspect like ambience, hospitality, food and overall experience, we preferred Grand Hyatt. Grand Hyatt will be our top choice for future trips to Goa.

I visit this place once every two years, and it never fails to impress me. Absolutely delighted with the property—the service is excellent, amenities are well maintained, and the breakfast spread offers great variety and quality. The room sizes are generous, and the views add to an overall relaxing and memorable stay. Always a pleasure coming back here.

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt, Goa was beyond our expectations and so memorable, that it is clearly the highlight of our trip to India. The property itself is exceptionally beautiful and magical - the architecture, the lighting and layout is reminiscent of ancient times and whispers stories of grandeur. Our room was simply amazing - large, grand and luxurious with touches of care that surpassed all expectations (complimentary snacks, extra bottles of water, fresh fruit, turndown service, personalized notes). Loved the bed, felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. ||We ate at the Dining Room, the Verandah and sampled the Capiz Bar - all exceptional culinary experiences. I must mention that the Whisky Old Fashioned Cocktail at the Capiz Bar was out of this world!||Lastly and certainly not the least - service! The careful and thoughtful attention given to us by multiple staff, the repeated check-ins to ensure we were comfortable, the friendly smiles and chats went so far to make us feel cared for and truly 'royal'. After 25 years of marriage this was our second honeymoon, coming back to roots and reliving special memories. We were so touched that Tanaya, MriduSmita and Sangeeta went out of their way to make it exceptional. You have given us a memory that we will hold close to our hearts always. ||Thank you to Priyarajan and the housekeeping team for the floor and room care. Had an amazing stay at Grand Hyatt Goa. The sea-facing views are beautiful, complemented by well-spread gardens and a very spacious, luxurious property. The rooms are large, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The resort is thoughtfully laid out with excellent indoor and outdoor pools, and a small game area for some fun time. The staff were consistently courteous and friendly, and all the restaurants were very accommodating with food customization based on my needs. Overall, a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and great hospitality.
