Grand Hyatt Guangzhou

The hotel is at a very convenient location, within walking distance of several malls with restaurants. There is al so a park right next to the hotel for walks.||We stayed in a joint suite composed of a king room and a twin room (booked two rooms and requested joint rooms at checkin). My room was furnished with a crib and baby bath as I was traveling with an infant. Housekeeping was very flexible and available at any time needed. The reception desk was especially helpful at all occasions. ||The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive of both western and Chinese offerings with and accent on local cuisine. we all loved the freshly baked pastries as well as freshly pressed juices.

Room and hotel layout : alittle weird (not saying i dont like it) but the shower is in the middle of the room, and 40% of the room is the dressing area. view and location was excellent, near to the big underground malls!! but beds was small. you also have to change the lift twice to go to the rooms, and check in is not at lobby. Service staff was nice! Amenities : Gym was nice - couldve added in a smith/deadlift or pullups machine! pool and suana was lovely for a cold weather. Overall, i enjoyed my stay!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Guangzhou from December 19th to 21st and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is modern, elegant, and very well maintained, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, allowing us to rest very well during our stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which was extremely abundant and delicious, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options to suit different tastes. The staff were professional and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. We would gladly choose this hotel again when visiting Guangzhou.

Great Hotel, however not the most modern and some staff members weren’t as polite as expected. Beware that it’s mandatory to have a swimming cap in china for the pool, except if you want to enter the hot tub, which should be renamed to boiling tub as the water temperature was honestly way too high. Breakfast buffet was amazing. WiFi was also not working at all. The hotel also seemed pretty empty meaning but we still were unable to get a room with a tower view.

I stayed at Grand Hyatt Guangzhou from October 12 to October 15, and as always, it was a wonderful experience. I’ve been staying at this hotel for many years whenever I visit Guangzhou, and it truly feels like a home away from home.||||Once again, the hotel generously upgraded me to a suite — not the first time they’ve done so, and I truly appreciate their continued thoughtfulness. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The room was spotless and well-maintained, just as I’ve come to expect from the Grand Hyatt.||||What makes this place so special is the staff. Many of them recognize and remember me from previous visits, which adds a warm, personal touch to every stay. Their consistent hospitality and attention to detail make all the difference.||||Thank you to the entire team for another excellent stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Best hotel we had ever stayed in.... great service and location. Very nice 24 hours gym... the pool is great too!!! The buffet breakfast are amazing!!! Awesome rooms!!! The front desk team is always very helpful. There are many restaurants below the hotel - near by mall, basement - 200m of restaurants.... super amazing range of different food options. Awesome view of the Guangzhou Tower from the hotel. The Club lounge is great too!!! Thank you for Sam for looking after us.

We stayed four nights from 2-6 January 2026. The hotel is conveniently located at the edge of a big park. The library, museum and opera house are accessible by walk through the park. |The reception staff spoke fluent English. Checkin and checkout on the 22nd floor was quick. We stayed in club class. We had breakfast, cocktail in the club lounge. |We, a group of three, highly appreciated the work performance of Mr. Evan Ma. He was very polite, responsive and attentive to details. We explained to us the dishes served. As three of us are seniors, he kindly offered to help us to get the drinks and food. He made us feel at home. Kiki Zhou was very helpful. She assisted us to reserve restaurant tables. She followed up with the booking, ensuring we secured booking in a popular restaurant. ||It was a pleasant stay!

Amazing! What a fantastic way to land in China. The hotel is beautiful with stunning views, and it's right in the center of everything - perfect for walking. The rooms are luxurious and huge. The breakfast buffet is so big and varied they have signs to guide guests to the right cuisine, and the food is delicious. (If I had one complaint, it would be that there isn't a whole lot of vegetarian food for lunch/diner.) And the hotel is spotlessly clean.||The staff mostly speak English -- more than in the Grand Hyatt Beijing -- as well as Mandarin of course, and often Cantonese. Probably other languages, too. And there's lots of staff around.||I'm particularly grateful to Martin, a concierge, who tirelessly helped me find the unfindable more than once, always with a smile, and who helped me navigate the city. I can't remember the last time a concierge was so helpful and friendly. Thank you, Martin!||I would expect a 5* hotel like this to cost double or triple the price.||Highly recommended!
