Grand Hyatt Hangzhou

The rooms with the lake view are beautiful. Interior feels updated and clean. Club lounge food is decent, not the fanciest but sufficient for a dinner substitute and a filling breakfast. Location is very convenient - next to a huge shopping area and the lake side. A thank you to Rona who was very helpful during check in. She was very detail-oriented, ensuring that me and my family would have a good setup in terms of room proximity and club lounge usage. She even made sure we got a room with a more centered view of the lake. We have Hyatt Globalist status and she proactively communicated the benefits to us to ensure we could make full use of them.

This was my first time traveling with my family. The hotel was excellent, and the environment was wonderful. The lake view was beautiful. The front desk attendant, Du Qianqian, was very helpful and helpful with the introductions. I'll definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

hotel is nice and posh, location is good, right beside many luxury malls and the west lake. of course I had the west lake view from the room. minus one star because the rooms had smoking smell. the previous guest smoked in the room and they couldn't remove the smell. they changed another room for me and it had smoke smell also. the hotel should seriously enforce the no smoking rule. I had a small kid with me and it's irritating to be sleeping in the room full of cigarette lingering smell. now my bags and clothes all smelt of cigarettes too. staffs all over the hotel were nice and professional so l won't fault them on that. Would like to compliment this staff, Ranking, who also helped me to booked impression west lake performance when I had difficulty.

I just had a very pleasant stay at the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou by West Lake.||First, the hotel location is extremely convenient — right outside the door is West Lake, with sightseeing trams passing by, and the Hubin 88 shopping district is nearby. In the evening, the music fountain show is just a short walk from the entrance.||Second, the hotel staff provided attentive and warm service.||Third, the hotel has a nice business lounge (Grand Club) and a high-quality restaurant, Hangzhou 28.||A special thanks to hotel staff member Cecilia for thoughtfully preparing the room decorations, cake, and fruit in advance for my dad’s birthday — it was truly heartwarming.||Thank you also to Kevin Su at check-in for the detailed introduction and for thoughtfully assigning the room based on guest needs — your hospitality made us feel truly welcome.||Thanks to Leo for the attentive service in the Grand Club, and a special thank you to Carey Pan at the Hangzhou 28 restaurant for kindly refrigerating our food and preparing a cold bag for us to take it the next day.||As a Hyatt member, I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of this stay. Good location next to the lake and shopping mall, the grand lounge something offers free breakfast (substantial) and free afternoon tea if you book the right kind of room. The Nespresso professional coffee machine was very good. It makes better micro foam than most normal coffee shops. The hotel feels a bit dated and the plumbing could be improved, but not a major issue.

One of my favorite hotels in the world ! Amazing view of the lake glorious Serivce and food. Always clean always friendly! Rona Bao was especially accommodating and nice :) would love to come back again whenever possible!

Great location, wonderful room. Club lounge has a great terrace with amazing views of the West Lake. Staff in the lounge were helpful and friendly. Would recommend to others visiting Hangzhou!

I had a wonderful stay at the Hangzhou Hyatt Hotel. The location is excellent—conveniently close to West Lake and major attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with stunning views and thoughtful amenities. Service was top-notch; staff were professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both Western and local options. Overall, a seamless and comfortable experience—highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
