"This American-style steakhouse at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong employs the prime cuts from Canada, the UK, Japan, and Spain, with dry-aged steaks also available. The executive chef of the restaurant recently brought in the American bison and devised an array of dishes featuring this rare ingredient. The restaurant is divided into three zones and benefits from the elegant environment." - Michelin Guide Digital-Hong Kong Macau

Grand Hyatt Steakhouse is undoubtedly one of the finest steakhouses I have had the pleasure of experiencing. As a frequent patron of high-end hotel steakhouses, I can confidently state that this establishment sets itself apart from the competition in multiple ways. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of the Grand Hyatt Steakhouse exude a refined yet unpretentious elegance. The decor is tastefully appointed, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining environment without feeling ostentatious. The service, in particular, stands out as genuinely hospitable and attentive, with the staff demonstrating a genuine desire to cater to the needs of each guest. The star of the show, of course, is the exceptional quality of the steaks. I have thoroughly sampled a variety of cuts, including the mouthwatering rib-eye, and each one has been cooked to perfection, exhibiting a delightful balance of tenderness and robust flavor. The selection of mustard accompaniments provides a delightful finishing touch, allowing diners to customize the taste experience to their individual preferences. While the broccolini side dish was a touch too sweet and chilled for my personal taste, preferring a simpler, boiled preparation, the mashed potatoes were nothing short of outstanding, demonstrating a creamy and indulgent texture that complemented the steaks beautifully. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Steakhouse stands as a shining example of what a premier steakhouse experience should entail. The combination of high-quality cuisine, impeccable service, and a refined yet inviting ambiance makes this establishment a must-visit for any discerning diner seeking an exceptional steakhouse experience.

Good service and met expectations. Paid extra for the rib eye. Clams from the salad bar was fresh and good salad. However, the apple crumble felt undercooked and felt like eating semi cooked flour

Had high expectations for Grand Hyatt Steakhouse based on the reviews and so came at lunch time and ordered the full lunch set (Soup + Dessert) with an Argentinean Ribeye and Australian Wagyu cooked to medium rare. To start off, the salad bar was amazing and we were impressed by the selections offered which lifted our expectations for the remaining dishes. We had recently been to Grand Hyatt Cafe's dinner buffet and the Truffle Mac and Cheese that we had experienced there was divine so we ordered it again here hoping for it to be the same. However, the one we experienced here was slightly inferior to the one at Grand Cafe as the pasta felt a tad overcooked resulting in a dried and hardened texture. As for the steaks, they came perfectly cooked, but we were quite disappointed at how it tasted. To echo the sentiment of other reviewers that provided a lower rating to this establishment, the only "flavour" that was prominent was the bitterness and charcoal/char/ash taste from the grill. The sauce that accompanied the steaks were done nicely, but the bitterness from the steaks were too overpowering and was unsalvageable. According to google reviews, there seems to be multiple occurrences of this happening so YMMV. Another thing to keep in mind is to double check the cleanliness of your utensils. The spoons that we were provided were dirty and had dried out brown stains on 2 different occasions and we had to request for new ones. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the first incident where the stains covered a larger area of the spoon. Desserts were done nicely especially the apple crumble. Cheesecake was a bit dry but the flavors were all on point. We unfortunately left feeling a bit disappointed as going in, we were under the impression that this was one of the best steakhouse that HK has to offer and it did not quite deliver.

I came to Grant steakhouse several time because I really enjoy the atmosphere and also the food. I came here this time to celebrate birthday and also some new dishes, they had bacon with scallops with corn purée which are very delicious, and I ordered the rib eye and spring chicken as usual, which I still enjoyed it very much~

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Grand Hyatt Steak House and were impressed by the outstanding service provided by a lovely team member, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The 10 oz Hanging Tender USDA Prime was cooked to perfection, and I loved the slight charcoal burnt flavour. The Snake River Farm Kurobuta Pork Chop was the star of the evening; it was incredibly soft and tender, truly a highlight that I can't recommend enough. The Steakhouse Pavlova for dessert was light and delightful, making for a perfect end to our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic steakhouse experience!

Booked the dinner from the Hong Kong Restaurant Week event. Overall, it offered a great portion of food, from appetizer, soup, main, and dessert. They also served garlic bread, but we never got it refilled when the staff promised so. Nice atmosphere and staff - but you'd get better steakhouse in Hong Kong.

We wanted to try this steakhouse before and finally got a chance to do it this year !! Their food was very nice and service was good especially their staff - Elizabeth. She knows I am pregnant and she gave me a pillow for my back! Very considerate! In general, I like every dishes here in this set menu! Will definitely come back again with my little one !! ❤️

Had a great lunch there. Starters included the blue mussels and steak tartar terrine. Fantastic flavors. We opted for the lobster bisque, which proved a good choice. Creamy and thick but no lobster pieces and a bit salty , which was a shame. For the mains, we ordered the tenderloin and seabass. Both were cooked to perfection. A couple of sides of creamy mash and fries went well with it. For dessert, we ordered the classic apricot cheesecake and apple crumble. Both full of flavour and highly recommended. Overall a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Meeting Ronin at the bar was an enlightening experience. His depth of knowledge regarding the science behind crafting clear ice was truly impressive. Not only did he provide intricate details on the process, but he also offered invaluable insights on preventing ice from cracking. Then to the steak, Ronin got my attention with his explanation of the bloodlines of the beef featured on the menu. His ability to dissect and elucidate complex subjects in such a captivating manner was truly fascinating. The menu was impressive, making to want to try EVERYTHING, sampling each dish. So impressed that I found myself returning the very next day, eager to try more shit off the menu. My encounter with the steakhouse was nothing short of extraordinary, great food, amazing drinks, American music. Found bliss, reminded me of home. Made me miss home

Yelp
The Grand Hyatt Steakhouse does a real nice job of creating the ambience and atmosphere of a traditional steak house. The lighting selection and interior design are really spot on. The food I thought was a bit hot or miss. Overall, I did have a good experience here. Food: 3.5 stars Service/atmosphere: 4.25 stars Overall: 3.75 stars Recommendations: truffle fries, key lime pie, truffle musturd The menu has a number of options for steak. I opted for the John Stone Ribeye steak from Ireland. The steak was cooked medium rare but parts of the steak felt a bit closer to rare and was a bit chewy at some parts. The seat on the steak gave it a bit of a charred taste which I didn't like. It may sound like the steak was bad but that's not the case. Overall I did enjoy it but at this price point I do have high expectations. I would opt for the angus steak as the beef from the US is really the best aside from Japanese Wagyu. There are a wide range of choices for sauce and mustards. The crab cakes are also often sited as a must order. On the positive side there is a lot of crab and there isn't that much filler. However, I found them to be just ok taste wise. My favorite parts of the meal were the garlic bread, truffle fries and the key lime pie. I think I may have given a three star review if it weren't for the key lime pie. It is really good and if you like desserts that are a bit tart then please order this. The pie crust is fantastic and really is the star of this dish.

Yelp
This steakhouse is honestly phenomenal. I went for the Black Angus Beef 6oz tenderloin with Blue Cheese topping. Had some truffle mustard on the side as well. Cooked medium. The steak was SO perfect. Cooked perfectly, flavorful, the blue cheese they used was high quality and not overpowering. The truffle mustard...wow please try this. Wasn't expecting a mustard selection but was a nice touch. Sides are shareable. I had the truffle fries, very good, and the green beans which were also yummy. I tried the Spritzer as my cocktail and honestly one of the best I've had. Also went with the Canneles for dessert. They weren't too sweet, strong rum flavor that doesn't linger too long, and they catch it on fire which is fun. Please go! Worth every penny.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I went there with my best friend and we ordered a porter house, prawn cocktail and a small apple crumble. We also had red wine and it's really a fulfilling meal. It's pricey but if you're with your loved ones or just go there once in a while it's worth it.

Yelp
My favorite steakhouse in Hong Kong since they opened. The service is great; the ambience is classic steakhouse and the steaks are standout! We've tried a number of different steaks here, and they are all delicious. A point to note though, they consistently undercook the steaks so if you want a medium rare, order a medium. Great oysters and soups to start as well.

Yelp
Surprisingly poor service for a top rated restaurant within a five star hotel in Hong Kong. Food quality was very good but over shadowed by the rushed and indifferent servers.
