Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

We were upgraded to a junior suite and the experience was just amazing. Super spacious living area and bathroom, with the most comfortable, fluffy beds. Even though the hotel itself is a really large one, sitting next to a convention center, offices, and a mega-mall, you lose the busy crowds as soon as you take the elevator up to your floor. Our room was facing a small rooftop/courtyard garden and despite being surrounding by concrete jungle, it was so peaceful and quiet. I have to say that the staff are really the best part of the experience, however — everyone was so kind, obliging, and helpful. We can’t wait to stay again.

We booked multiple rooms as a young family and stayed for multiple nights.||Parnas was the first hotel in the our multi-hotel vacation in Seoul. Upon first impressions, the hotel staff was kind and thoughtful. Bell service was top notch after a long international flight and check-in was a breeze. We stayed here with the Amex FHR program.||Rooms were large and clean. The only complaint we had was that the hotel is starting to show some age. Please recaulk the shower as black mildew is very off-putting for guests. Aside from that, the fitness and pool facilities were top-notch. ||Food at the Parnas was great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet everyday and in hindsight, Parnas has a superior buffet to other 5* stays we've had in Seoul during this trip. (Signiel and Fairmont). Service was great and attentive. ||Parnas is located right beside the Hyundai department store and the basement connects with Coex. The location is superb being close to everything. ||Overall, having stayed at multiple 5* hotels in Seoul, our family agrees that it is a superior choice to Fairmont and Signiel. We look forward to visiting again next year.

Effortless Luxury and Impeccable Comfort! An ultra-luxurious stay that truly delivers. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room infrastructure was sleek, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Everything from the cleanliness to the functionality of the working area was top-tier. The staff were warm and professional, contributing to a seamless experience. It’s genuinely difficult to find faults – a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking refined comfort in Seoul.

Modern rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. From the higher floors (34 in total), you can enjoy a beautiful view over the surroundings. If the indoor pool isn’t too crowded, you can easily swim a few laps – just don’t forget your swim cap! The jacuzzi is also a great place to relax after a day of business or exploring the city. The location is excellent: two metro stations are within walking distance, and right next to the hotel you’ll find a shopping mall with an impressive library. Breakfast was fantastic – both in terms of quality and variety. The only minor downside was that the selection didn’t change, so after a few days it became a bit repetitive. But this is a complaint on a high level 😉

This is my first time staying in Gangnam area and the hotel location is very convenient, it is linked with MTR station and 2 - 3 shopping malls, I can get actually what I want just next to the hotel. Convenient stores are located just 5mins away from the hotel and you can choose the brand you like. Besides, the room is big, clean and well-equipped. All the staffs are nice and friendly, especially Miss Jung who assisted us for the check-in, explained all the details clearly with a pretty smile. I will definitely visit again!

This is the best luxury hotel in the area. The check in person was very nice. The bell hops made sure to help us with our luggage since I was traveling with my disabled wife so we had our hands full. The front desk listened to all our requests and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the level of service. We were upgraded to a junior suite through AMEX FHR stay and the room was spectacular. The whole hotel had a very modern and luxurious feel to it. It was a perfect stay. The breakfast was the best part. So many great choices from Korean to western. The staff at the Grand Kitchen were also so welcoming every morning. They even remembered our coffee of choice the next morning. Overall, this was a very memorable experience for us on our first trip abroad in a long time. I definitely want to return to this hotel in the future!

Updated: 7/29 The hotel front desk head managerJosephine had contact me with an apologies about the lack of service and offered an upgrade. I am glad to know that IHG still care about the feeling of the member. Thank you for listening to the voice of the customers. I used my IHG point to book the hotel for 3 person 4 nights, and I am the diamond member of the IHG. I am surprise to know that I don’t have the access to the lounge. There is also no upgrade….and this is really blow my trust to the IHG program. The staff said that there is no upgrade because it is a reward redemption. Furthermore, the room description state that it is for 3 person, but there is only one couch in the room without any blanket or sheet. I guess the hotel think the 3rd person may sleep anywhere in the floor. I have to ask the guest service to bring an extra blanket. Overall it is a disappointed booking. Fortunately, I made another booking at the park Hyatt and it was also a reward booking. The park Hyatt room has been upgraded to the suite, so that I can feel the big difference.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I truly enjoyed my stay—the ambiance was wonderful, and all necessities were conveniently accessible in the area.||I also enjoyed their food, which is very delicious. I hope to come again next time.
