Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

This is a great hotel. Early check in was easy. I had breakfast included, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Several stations with cuisines from Korean to western, sweet to savory. The staff were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally attentive. Nespresso machine in the room was kept well-stoked with coffee options. The fitness center was also outstanding, with equipment of every possible type, well staffed and very busy! My only complaint, actually, is that the hours of the fitness center (opening at 6 am) feel a bit limiting in a setting where there are many jet-lagged customers awake very early.

Seoul has amazing hospitality in general. The Grand InterContinental takes it to another level. Walking into the hotel my bag is quickly taken from me while I go to the front desk. The front desk staff where attentive and polite while making you feel at home. The person at the front desk hands me my key, then proceeds to walk around the desk, grab my suitcase from the holding area, then walks me to the elevators. Not points me to the elevator, but walks me to the elevators. WOW! Rooms are spotless, with every amenity you could want. Huge bathroom and shower. Best sleep I have ever had in a Hotel and I travel all around the world. Every detail is taken care of an you are treated like Royalty. Well worth the price.

The service is excellent, from front desk to concierge and club lounge. I have been here many times and never been disappointed.|The location is not too good for some of the tourists because many tourists attractions are located at least 30 minutes away but for me, a frequent traveller to Seoul, I love it. It has Parnas shopping mall underneath and also connected to Coex. Subway station is a few minutes away. Hyundai department and Olive and Young are also in the basement.|Club lounge has a good view and offers a great range of food for breakfast and happy hours.|The concierge team is extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel was exceptionally clear and modern. The staffs were extraordinary professional and nice. The electric door key that detected the guests room floor was superb. The front desk staff were very helpful and new their work very well. The entire support personnel was incredible. I will definitely come bask to stay there for my next trip to Seoul.

What a magnificent hotel, everyone made me feel so special. First stay was for 3 nights, a quick trip to Busan for a few nights then back for another 5 nights. Both suites allocated as an Ambassador member were spacious, thoughtfully designed and absolute luxury. |But the highlight was the Club Lounge, it has both a la carte and expansive buffet at breakfast (eggs to order) and dinner, this is not your cheap canapés but a full dinner service.Steaks and fish cooked to perfection, interesting seafood and Korean inspired dishes, beautiful soups, desserts, cocktails, traditional English style afternoon tea served in the best fine china. |The hotel is very close to streets full of local restaurants, underground connection to Samseong Station, airport bus terminal, shopping malls and department stores.Taxis are very cheap and the subway style train system also cheap, efficient and English friendly once you arm yourself with a map of all the lines and a T money card. I got mine in the convenience store inside the hotel. |Seoul is a vast city so whether by taxi or train you will need time and patience to move around from A to B as the city Is divided by the Han River.Temples, markets and more traditional streets of hanoks were on the other side of the river to the hotel but easy to get to. It was great to retreat back to the sanctuary of the hotel after a day out in the crowds.|Added to the list of one of my favourite hotels of all time.

Top rate service and accommodations. The staff is friendly Ana’s helpful. For my next trip to Seoul, I already plan to stay here. The rooms are well done and the city noise was near non existent. The breakfast buffet was good and I never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated

A really great hotel with superb staff. Rooms are comfortable and the beds and pillows what you expect t in 5 star hotels. The rooms are on the small side. I guess this is to be expected in the centre of one of the world’s busiest cities. The mall under the hotel has everything you need plus a. Great selection of restaurants

The hotel air conditioning is ridiculously weak. My partner and I couldn’t rest properly for two days and decided to call the front desk. They just sent a guy with translation phone up to tell us there’s nothing they can do about it. Imagine being superbly tired and not being able to sleep because you’re feeling super warm. The bell boy on the first floor was also rude when we requested for a cab. We waited for a cab and when the cab came, they gave it to another guest who just arrived at the lobby due to poor communication between the bell boys and we stood there waiting for half an hour. In the end we had to use online apps to get our own transport as the staff is not well trained. Our room was not made up as we were in the room till late afternoon but they did not even replenish the water in the room. I understand they try to be sustainable by charging for toothbrushes but what about water? For this price, it’s quite unreasonable for the staff to be this unprofessional. Five star hotel with worse than two star services. Utterly disappointing update : Even after this review and apologies from the management on the review Once again, I went to the front desk to ask about things and the flat reply of “ No” instead of being polite and offering solutions to problems. The staff here seem to just want to brush customers off. I would say this is one of the worst service ive gotten at a hotel. Even tiny hotels in tiny towns have better service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY!
