Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

I stayed here for four nights and the experience was largely excellent. The entrance and lobby are truly amazing and smell beautiful. The rooms are luxurious, well-appointed, and have everything you need, including a high-quality capsule coffee machine. The Highlights: • Atmosphere: Very high-end feel from the moment you walk in. • Breakfast: The food quality is top-tier and the service is great, though the coffee service at breakfast can be a bit slow. • Facilities: The gym and pool are fantastic and complimentary for guests. • Location: Perfect spot right by the station. The Downsides: • Room Amenities: While the coffee machine is great, they don’t provide any milk or creamer in the room. For a luxury hotel, you'd expect at least some basic creamer to go with the capsules. • Sauna Fee: The sauna costs 60,000 KRW to use. Even for a 5-star hotel, this feels incredibly expensive and not worth the extra spend given the pool is already included. Overall, a beautiful and expensive hotel, but some of the extra charges and missing small touches (like creamer) are a bit disappointing.

We spent a whole week in comfort at the Intercontinental Parnas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an amazing buffet breakfast everyday consisting of both western and Asian favorites. We also booked with a lounge access which was excellent in every way and will say it was the best lounge in terms of food offerings and service we’ve ever seen anywhere. The only downside was that we didn’t have to eat out for dinner because of the excellent offerings. There is also an afternoon tea service at the lounge. With the turndown service, we were given tea bags and eye warmer and face mask for a relaxing night. It’s super conveniently connected to an underground shopping center and to a metro station. It’s in the heart of Gangnam, so it can be a bit further from the most tourist sites. But I would not hesitate to book this property again!

This stay of note is the food. It was already good, but they managed to improve since last visit. Probably the buffet is the best one in the world (I haven't visited all hotels in the world, so statement may be a bit rash, but at least to the ones I have been - is the best). They have a core menu, but the peripheral changes make them special I think. Laundry service stood out this time, since I always take them for granted, but both dry and wet service stands out, and how they handled two and a half sock(s). Club Lounge has a very comfortable attractive feel. I can tell the staff is working extra hard, not just physically, but they are thinking how to make you feel comfortable (and this I think is a very important point). Parnas seem to adjust to each individual guest personas... Parnas Persona perhaps, it's the nihil and subtle touch by each of the staff, which do not overwhelm, but not understated, and their different personalities still show but do not clash, quite an achievement to be able to do so. Well managed or good team, or both, I am not sure, but something is working in your hotel. I recommend you stay there yourselves to see what's going on, then maybe you will see it for yourselves, see what I am trying to say, or am talking about... I am talking to you, the reviewer of this review, the corporation... give your staff some extra compliments. I am sure not all guests may see the place as I do, as mileage varies for everyone, but try to see it in their view of their humanity.

Booked a room for family for vacation in Seoul. The entire hotel was decorated in lovely, and festive Christmas decorations. The moment you enter the hotel there's a pleasant perfume smell, which may either be good for others but not necessarily good for more sensitive guests. Our room was a suite which by standards could not be upgraded to a better room with our membership, so the view from our room was not spectacular. The amenities offered were rather substandard, the provided body care (shampoos, conditioner, and body soap) were rather lackluster in terms of quality, it just did not live up to Korean standards who are known for their skincare. Moreover, we found that the amenities were not truly free/paid for at the time of visit, one such example are the toothbrushes and toothpastes. The service from staff can get rather hierarchical, please ensure you're at least a paid membership otherwise they will not treat you as nicely as one would expect in paying for a 5 star hotel. Overall, it's a good hotel with key tourist attractions that make it very appealing to book a stay based on proximity. Would I necessarily recommend this hotel for others to book with vacation and site seeing in mind? Not really.

Overall a fascinating hotel. I stayed in one of the junior suites for eight nights and had a very pleasant time with its renovated hardware and wonderful service. Food was also great at the grand kitchen as well as the club lounge. The only con is elevators can take time and get quite crowded. Would totally come back here for my next stay in Seoul.

My husband and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Seoul, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. While we are loyal IHG guests and have enjoyed other InterContinental properties, this stay in Seoul felt truly special and unique in the best way. First and foremost, the staff deserve the highest praise. Every single team member we encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to help us. A special mention must be made about their language skills—most staff spoke English very well, which made communication seamless and made us feel so welcomed. They always tried their best to assist with any request, and their warmth was a highlight of our trip. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. It provided a perfect sanctuary after busy days exploring the vibrant city. We made great use of the facilities, especially the steam room and sauna. They were clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind. The staff in the wellness area were also incredibly helpful. Overall, this wasn't just another hotel stay; it was a memorable part of our Seoul adventure. We loved everything about our time here and will undoubtedly choose the InterContinental Seoul again on our next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful and distinct experience! fantastic service and a wonderful front desk staff. It was snowing when I arrived, and I was quickly greeted and escorted inside. The check-in process was smooth and flawless. My guest room is beautiful and the Byredo bathroom amenities were very much appreciated. Room service was also peak as was the breakfast offered in the downstairs restaurant. This hotel is located in the Gangnam District of Seoul very close to lots of popular establishments. I would absolutely stay here again.

I had the opportunity to visit Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas while attending the 3rd meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea, as well as the Azerbaijan–Korea Business Forum. The hotel proved to be an excellent venue for high-level international events. Its location in Gangnam, directly connected to COEX, makes it particularly suitable for large delegations and business gatherings. Conference facilities were impressive: spacious halls, well-organised logistics, and seamless technical support created a professional and comfortable environment for discussions and networking. The organisation of the forum and meetings reflected the hotel’s strong experience in hosting major international events. The overall atmosphere combines elegance, efficiency and Korean hospitality, making it a fitting setting for diplomatic and business engagement in Seoul.
