Grand Lux Cafe

This is the second time I've eaten that this restaurant. I enjoy the atmosphere. Most of the waiters/waitresses are nice and attentive. Dim lights...the vibe is good. There is valet parking, and deck parking. There can be a wait at times but that's typical in any restaurant. I'd recommend going.

Decided on this place for brunch with the girls after reading several reviews, but we were super disappointed. They have a very big menu and lots to choose from. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. The drinks were pretty, but tasted like only a spoonful of alcohol was added. Ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and it didn’t taste a lick like bourbon street chicken. My girls ended up returning their dishes due to overcooked food and just not being tasty. Our waiter, Blue, seemed like he didn’t wanna be there and maybe mumbled 10 words over the whole hr we were there. The manager ended up coming over and apologizing for the subpar service. Very nice and spacious compared to the small brunch cafes in ATL.

Our server Pearcy was very good. He was attentive and provided good suggestions for the starters, entrees and dessert. The ambiance had nice low soft light. Music was at a good volume. Visited on a Sunday evening around 8:30-10:25pm. I had a pineapple martini 🍸 type drink. It was perfect. Friend had 2 drinks, a Grand Lux Old and a regular old fashion. They were strong and sweet. Friend is a old fashion connoisseur so he would know. Overall I would return. Pearcy remained professional although he had a table that had a loud obnoxious guest and he was great!!

Above average food in a relaxed upscale decor with excellent service excess restaurant shine. Prices are on par given the quality of food. I had their clam chowder and it was very good and they also served warm sourdough bread which was a nice touch. The Pomodoro had a perfect balance of spice with garlic, basil, Parmesan cheese and tomato sauce. The sauce was especially flavorful. Service was also top notch. We enjoyed our visit.

Love the atmosphere. The waitress was spot on with her knowledge of the menu! My wife has a dairy allergy and the waitress was able suggest alternative salad dressings and sauces that paired well with her food. I enjoyed the Spare rib Eggs Benedict. Have never had spare ribs as the protein on my benedict before. Hats off to the chef for this idea! Another in our party had the Grilled Cheese with Spare Ribs, her plate was clean when we left. All in all this was an awesome eating experience

Veronica was by far AMAZING!! We thoroughly enjoyed our food , our wonderful welcoming server Veronica and the ambience. We laughed and enjoyed our evening out with family. I've always been to Grand Lux in other states but never in Georgia. I loved it. I'm definitely a new customer at this location. I recommend you give them a try .You won't regret it. Don't forget to ask for Veronica.. She's one of the best servers I've come across in Atlanta.

Very nice restaurant and food was good. Service was slightly slack but since it was late Monday afternoon i can feel for them. Lots of menu options and the food was presented well but it reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory a little the restaurant style and taste. The orange was perfect it freshly squeezed and they mean it i never had anything better but warning it has pulp and since I am one of the few that do it was perfect for me.

Our server V is awesome ❤️. She was very patient with us because we were all trying to order something different than what we usually order, but this place is wonderful it's nice, it is a great place to gather 10 out of 10 stars 🤩. The bathrooms are very very clean they smell nice the atmosphere is very pleasant and beautiful and nice.
