I want to be very clear in this review because I believe this hotel is a true gem. In the opinion of many, Odaiba isn't the best area to stay in Tokyo due to its location. However, thanks to the Yurikamome train line, whose Daiba station is right outside the hotel, the transfer from this hotel to the central Shimbashi station is a convenient 15-minute ride. Furthermore, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, the Rinkai line provides access to the popular Shibuya or Shinjuku area in about 25 minutes, without needing to transfer. That said, I can describe my stay at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba. The room is spacious, which isn't very common in Tokyo. I was fortunate enough to stay on the 24th floor, and the views of Tokyo Bay are breathtaking. The bathroom is comfortable, and the bed is firm. The facilities are understated and elegant. The service is impeccable. The food is superb. In short, a very pleasant experience. One detail struck me as odd: using the facilities at Le Club (gym, pool, jacuzzi, showers, changing rooms) requires a ¥2200 fee. While not an exorbitant sum, it seemed strange that a hotel guest would have to pay extra to use these facilities. That said, everything at Le Club was impeccable, a perfect place to unwind after a busy day in the city. Odaiba offers plenty of fun and entertainment, as well as an interesting culinary scene. There's a Lawson convenience store open 24 hours a day right at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're visiting for leisure, business, or shopping.
