Grand Pizza

Loved the flavorful pizza. 8" is a perfect size for one or get 2 of different types and share. Price is very reasonable. Location is perfect and they deliver. Service was very friendly and no waiting. Super clean.

Five stars isn't enough! We ordered 15 pizzas for an event in Bayport, and we asked that they arrive in two shifts so we didn't have to worry so much about keeping them hot. The nice folks at The Grand were happy to make that happen for us! They were super kind, incredibly accommodating, and impressively prompt! They made our event super easy and wonderfully delicious! We have always thought they had the best pizza in town, but they also have the best staff!

Pizza was so good I burnt my mouth! Staff was very kind and on top of things, prices were affordable for us and they had a nice selection on their menu. The atmosphere was also very chill and definitely more our speed than some of the busier restaurants.

GREAT PIZZA!!! The atmosphere isn’t anything to write home about, but a lot of people just call in and pick it up instead. But the pizza is WONDERFUL! They don’t use cheap, sub-par ingredients. It is really good. Worth picking up a pizza and eating it at home.

Cute little corner Pizza place with the old world feel. The interior could use a serious overhaul. It felt outdated and run down. My server was excellent. Very friendly and quick. I had my standard cheese pizza and order of cheese bread that I order at most places when I'm first trying them. My theory is that if your cheese pizza sucks, it doesn't matter what toppings you put on it. Well unfortunately everything here was seriously underwhelming. Bland if I'm being completely honest. If you're going to sell pizza in a place where there are 2 other pizza places within 2 blocks of yours, it better stand out. This pizza isnt even better than the big names (pizza hut, domino's, etc...). Sorry folks but this one gets 2 thumbs down.

I have not dined in the restaurant so I can't comment on that. But every delivery I've ever had is prompt delicious and hot. I've never been disappointed. Great service great food great prices

Was visiting Stillwater for the day and wanted to have some local pizza to end the day. My family and I came to the Grand Pizza! We were not disappointed! We dined in and ordered the Lumber Jack Pizza, and it was SSOOO good!! So good in fact that another family came in and saw what we ordered and also ordered the same pizza! If visiting Stillwater, give the Grand Pizza a try. You will not be disappointed!🍕

Off the main drag so it wasn't as busy as the other pizza places in town. The pizza was very good & the cheesecake was delicious! Waitstaff was wonderful too.

The pizza was amazing!! We also appreciated being able to store our leftovers there until we were done touring downtown Stillwater. Highly recommend this spot!

Grand pizza is hands down the best pizza joint in the Stillwater area. It's a little off the main drag, but it is worth straying off the beaten path for. They have daily specials that make it super affordable if you plan accordingly. The vibe inside the restaurant is a little odd, but I have always done takeout so it's a nonissue. Parking is a pain in the neck, especially in the summer months when downtown Stillwater is wildly busy, but it's worth the headache for the best pizza around. Service is always friendly and fast. If you are visiting Stillwater, grand pizza is a must try and if you're local, be prepared to become a regular here!

This is a sit down pizza place. However, there is also takeout available. Pizza was good and fairly priced. It was fresh and made homemade and to order. Parking was free street parking.

The worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. Food: The grand pizza was ok. The lumberjack pizza tasted great, although a bit oily. The brownie is not worth trying at all. If you get a pizza DO NOT get the GF crust. Its thin and tastes like cardboard. There are many other places with better GF crusts. Ambiance: Not much to say here. Its nothing special but not bad. Service: One of us asked for no green peppers on their pizza and sadly they forgot (small mistake) HOWEVER when we where eating, that same person was not going to be able to eat the entire thing so they where waiting to ask for a box. The waiter took it away (we assumed to go box it) however they ended up throwing HALF A PIZZA away and then hid in the back to avoid having to talk with us about it (while blaming it on us to her manager, which we could hear.). The person who ordered it asked to have to pay for just half a pizza as they had only been able to eat half a pizza but that was not what ended up happening. In the end we all left frustrated and unwilling to ever come back. I don't usually ever write bad reviews but this one was just so bad that i felt the need to express my opinions about it here.

The Tropical pizza was fantastic! Recently I ate at top rated pizza places in Minneapolis and st paul, this place was better.

Wish I could give zero stars.. have ordered from Grand Many times, as it's very close and the food is fairly good. Tonight, we were missing an item, and upon calling to ask for the item/ or a refund - the manager Tanya, told us "they didn't have to, because they were busy " and "too bad".. quite literally, this came from a "MANAGER". She then proceeded to hang up on us.. after all the money spent at Grand - over many years, this was how we were treated. I have myself managed a bar/ restaurant for many years, and have never imagined providing this type of service.. to anyone! I would suggest the owner hires someone other, than a snotty staff of rude teens.. absolutely will never eat there again!

The pizza was not good. I got something with garlic and it was covered in oil, the cheese was too thick and the garlic was SO strong that it lingered for a day or two. We were the only people in the restaurant which was kinda odd. The service was good but again, just not good vibes.

I ordered a small pizza. It had everything. It's the basic pizza. They told us it will be ready in 20 minutes. It was. Quick service for Saturday night. It has a kick it's not spicy but it has a slight cake. I loved it. I'll come back. I eat my pizza outside.

On the way home from Wisconsin after dropping sister at camp. We saw some pictures and it looked good so we chose here. We came around 2:30 pm and there wasn't any other people eating here. The worker came out right away and seated us. We were able to order quickly and they food came right away. We ordered a kids 8" pizza and a 14" sausage and onion. Both were very good. Be aware the kids one is very thin crust. The normal one was traditional crust and that seemed much better. The restaurant looked nice and was quiet (since we were the only ones there). The waiter checked in regularly and was nice too.

The food is OK. Lasagna is good, gyro is also pretty good. The pizza is probably the best in Stillwater, which rates a solid meh. Crust is good and the amount of toppings is fine. Unfortunately the sausage is nothing remotely like good Italian sausage-more like a mild breakfast sausage. There is barely a hint of seasoning in the sauce: no basil, no oregano, no garlic or anything else. It's like they're targeting the palates of preschoolers. A trip to Chicago (or New York) would serve them well. It's a plus that they deliver, but my last pizza arrived semi-warm.

We ordered a medium, hand tossed veggie pizza and substituted pineapple for mushrooms. It was cooked to perfection. The crust was not too thick and the edges were brown and crispy. The cheese was evenly spread and had just the right amount of sauce. It was not greasy/oily at all. Really good pizza. We went there at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, the place was empty, and the service was quick.

I have been here over 10 times and even been inside the kitchen area, this place has really great food and is usually not busy in the main part at all which gives it a nice atmosphere. This place has the best pizza in town and is great for events as they have a banquet hall pretty close to their main entrance.

Pizza is great.... BUT.... Didn't really appreciate the comment when I picked up a pizza TO-GO.. and the server turns around and heads back into the kitchen and promptly says "he didn't tip a single thing!" (And of course she didn't even offer my change!) Since when are we tipping on to-go pizza orders!? You haven't delivered it to me. You didn't bring it out to my car while I waited. NO! Instead.. I placed the order online and came into the restaurant and picked up my pizza! I was there for all of 2 mins! Amazing how poor service can ruin good food!

I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza online, waited 45 minutes to get it, and I noticed they gave me a BBQ pizza. I called and said I wanted a buffalo chicken, and the guy says, that's fine, but we'll send you the new pizza, and when we get there, have the other pizza ready for the driver to pick up. Lmao. However! The manager emailed me and gave me a credit and apologized which is great. Btw, the buffalo chicken pizza was excellent!

I had their pizza last night while in MN and to my surprise it was absolutely delicious. Best pizza I've had in a while.

This is such a reliable underrated spot! It's very inexpensive, the food is always hot and good, and it's really never busy. Kind of a dream. The entrées are typically $6-$9, and they are consistently tasty. The lasagna and cannelloni and special rich treats, the pizza is hot a cheesy. If you're tooling around Stillwater and wanted a quick bite without waiting forever, or spending a lot, this is your spot! Give it a shot!!

We were a bit nervous at first cause the place was empty when we walked in but the pizza was delicious and the service was prompt. Don't know if it's a daily special or not but they had an 8" specialty pizza and drink of your choice for 5 bucks.

I think this just won my vote for best pizza in Stillwater! It is a solid traditional pizza joint. I can't believe it took me so long to find and try it. I have dined in and ordered delivery, received great service for both. Couldn't resist getting the grand pizza both times, and tried thin crust versions of the gyro and buffalo chicken other than that. Both specialty pizzas were good, and the thin crust was still substantial enough to be filling and hold up to a bunch of toppings. They have beer and wine if you dine in. My new local go-to for pizza!

The food is great. Reasonable price. the meatball sandwich is amazin. Pizza is great as well.

Extremely disappointed in our experience here. We've eaten there in the past and enjoyed their delicious thin-crust pizza. We ordered our pizza, when it was set down, the server disappeared, it looked different to me; unfortunately, it had a very thick crust. I tried it, and it was terrible. In the past, a server has always come back to see how things looked and tasted. Not this time. My husband got hungry and just started eating it. Our water glasses sat empty, and still no one showed up. Finally, when my husband was done and we'd been sitting there for a while, the server appeared. I asked if they had changed their crust...she responded no, that they had two choices. We did not see that choice on the menu, nor were we asked which we would like. Had she shown up earlier, I would have sent it back. Not sure we'll ever go back.

Stopped by with my daughter for lunch since I have had their chicken pecan salad before delivered to my work and love it. The salad was excellent, my daughters chicken strips were average. The waitress was friendly but we waited way too long for our basic order. I think we waited about 25 minutes so that was disappointing. I did see a hiring sign on the door so perhaps they are short staffed. I will try again and hope it's not an on going issue.

Like a couple of previous reviews said this place is a hidden gem, get over the fact that a server got mad you didn't tip and raise your rate in because the pasta, pizza and lasagna here is good quality and homemade. You only find product like this at a fine dining Italian restaurant and the fact that they deliver for $1.50 is awesome. I love this place!

Great pizza for a good price in a convenient location for me as I live in Oak Glen. I am not that impressed with the seating area but know that the food is more important than the ambiance.

People will hate, but I must say this spot is pretty underrated. Great BBQ Pizza & lots of options to choose from. If you are in down town Stillwater, stop by & give it a shop reasonable prices great flavors

The only reason I'll give them 3 stars is that they always deliver promptly and accurately to my place of work and their salads are really good. The pizza fries are also pretty good, but the rest is just ok. I could be biased being from the chicagoland area and having to judge pizza.

I darn near cried last year when Savoy's in St. Paul closed after the death of Red. I thought I'd never have a chance to have that fantastic Minnesota Style pizza again, but then I went to Grand last night. Got the Grand - and it was everything I loved from Savoy's. Spicy sauce with plenty of oregano, wonderful sweet Italian sausage and lots of cheese. The peppers and onions were also cut large, not minced, so you could really savor them. I've decided to give up on my New Years resolution before I even start, cause with Grand nearby, there's no way I am losing 10 lbs this year.

Fabulous pizza! Tried a few different pizzas and they were all delicious. Good sized pies.

Ones order is often screwed up or missing things. Once got wings with no sauce and another time ordered a burger with onions. Paid extra for the onions but never got them. Also a couple times I've gotten a delivery driver where my pizza is all smushed to one side of the box. Inconsistent product but when they get it right the pizza is good. Not worth complaining cause they don't fix the issues. Positive is they deliver any of their food options which is good when I don't feel like cooking or eating pizza

I've never been disappointed with a pizza from the Grand! A great place to carry out or dine in for a hometown, no frills experience. Our family loved the lumberjack pizza - so filling and full of flavor! My go to Stillwater pizza place.

Very good pizza. Fast delivery, good prices, excellent sauce! My family is very picky about their pizza. This is the only one in Stillwater we will order.

Awesome place! Beats quick fire, carbonnes and All the other places in the area by a long shot! Traditional crust is amazing!! Sometimes they get get onion pieces in the cheese, but that's an easy one to look past with the amazing taste!

I wish I would have discovered this place sooner! I just opened my candle shop in the Grand Garage and saw this place. The pizza has to be one of the BEST pizzas I have ever eaten. Thin crust, not traditional. Sausage and Pepperoni. Excellent. The place was busy when I stopped in. Good sign!

Worst management team ever! Very disappointing this business has been one of our favorites only to see the quality of food and service deteriorate! If I could give less then one star I would! Recommend Carboni's in Stillwater or Village Pizza in North St Paul, better products, much better service!

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday, January 23, 2016 for dinner at 8:10 pm. We sat down and the server greets us with, "just so you know, we close in 20 minutes." We asked if we could still get dinner and she replied, "well, yeah, if you can eat fast..." There was a booth of customers working on their pizza, about halfway done. They were the only other people in the restaurant. It was obvious the young server was hoping for no more customers so she could get out of work on time, Saturday night after all! Of course my husband and I left. I'm not sure we will be back. I understand that the staff have lives outside of their jobs; however, I wonder if the management would appreciate that their servers are shooing PAYING CUSTOMERS out. Really disappointing.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my order experience at Grand Pizza that I ended up canceling before the order was complete. The associate on phone duties the night of 8-2 around 6:00 pm either needed a second person answering phones or further training. I asked 2 questions- differences in the crust, as well as dipping sauces for chicken fingers- he responded as if I was inconveniencing him, however, have never dined at Grand Pizza to know the answers to my questions. After giving my credit card number twice to process the order he was unable to retrieve the information successfully. This frustrated me so I cancelled the order. His response was, "well your card declined anyway"- rude. Knowing this was impossible I called Pizza Man, paid with the same card that was processed correctly and am now enjoying delicious pizza and wings. I work in hospitality and am very tolerant of varying levels of service- this experience was extremely frustrating and hope this issue will be addressed.

I don't eat pizza very often but when we do this is where we get it. My wife and kids seem to really like it. We usually get take out but have eaten in as well. Super fast service and very good wait staff. If you want pizza, go here!

Great, fresh, inexpensive pizza. Friendly employees. A regular stop for us to get their taco pizza.

Worst customer service ever. I called to complain about an order and the guy said fu.. U and hung up the phone. The pizza was burnt ! We wasted 21 dollars. Do not go. Rude service worst pizza I have ever seen. Do not waste your money.
