This place is a total scam. I try to order online delivery. They charge me for five bottles of wine, and I only got one don’t trust them.

Wonderful! Everytime i walk in im greeted with a smile. The is a young man who is young and knowledgable & a middle age woman who use to volunteer at the library. Its nice, they noticed that i was mia, makes u feel important as a customer. Im in customer service & love building friendships with clients ❤❤❤💯🕯🙏🏼🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂 may you all have a prosperous year in all aspects

Nancy is the most amazing compassionate and bubbly person i’ve ever met at any store. She’s made me a customer for life. Excellent black owned liquor store but I would recommend to anybody!

10/29/16 The employee said there is a law saying you cant use a credit card without EMV. Told me, a loyal customer, that they cant accept regular credit cards. Please stop lying. I'm calling tomorrow for a owner/manager.

I wanted to buy the limited addition Patron the salesman looked at me and said we just sold the last bottle. I replied ok I would like to play lotto I walked to the counter where the lotto is sold I stood there for at least 10 minutes. I called out hello I want to play Powerball. The 3 salesman completely ignored me. This is not the first time but it the last time . I'm not spending my money in that unwelcoming store.

I always order from their site and they always give me exactly what I want or make amazing replacements! I recommend them.

Absolutely hands down top notch service to match the top notch selections. Wish they had a wider selection of single malt scotch but they're still a great shop. 👍🏽

been ordering liquor here for delivery for over two years. Their system charged me twice from the computer and I let them know I only got one bottle of wine. I have no reason to tell a story because I've been a faithful customer for two years they went ahead and charge me back twice for one bottle one that I got so screw them I will not come to this place anymore. They can kiss my ass.

This is a neighborhood gem and I don't know who is saying otherwise. Fast Delivery, great staff and a decent variety of wines and spirits. My only criticism is I would love for them to have more variety of wines and spirits at a higher level. However, Go there! They're great

Mandatory 10% tip minimum... really? I must admit I did order often from Grand Plaza Liquors when they were sellers on Drizly and when their listing was removed from Drizly I went to the GPL website which allowed me to order directly from their store. On the website is reads FREE Delivery and In-Store Pickup. I have no problem with tipping because the delivery people from GPL are polite and courteous. Yet, since the stay at home request has been in place there is a mandatory 10% tip minimum, with the only other choices being 20% and 30%. At first I thought it was a website glitch, so I telephoned GPL and was told that in order to get anything delivered there is a $20 order minimum and a 10% tip minimum. I understand that it is customary to tip the delivery person, but I do not like the idea of being told how much I MUST tip. The amount of the tip should be at the consumer's discretion.

I wanted to support this business because it is minority-owned. However, there is no mask enforcement and two customers on a recent visit were maskless. one of the two workers had his mask below his nose. They met my queries with a shrug. I bought some whiskey anyway, but I probably should have just left. Shop at your own risk.

Order from here via Drizly and they are so incredibly quick, kind and wonderful. I love them and have never had an experience that was less than ideal. Deliveries arrive in under 1/2 an hour!

Sure, the selection isn't the finest. But they're open until 11 and they deliver. May take a while, but sometimes you just need that magnum of red wine and you're already in your pajamas. And Grand Plaza Liquor comes through! They're always really friendly and if they don't have what you asked for or if it's more expensive than you asked for they call you back to see if you still want the wine or something else. Pretty good service in my book.

I was in sore need of some white wine (it happens), and a neighbor recommended Grand Plaza Liquor as a "serviceable wine store." "What, that liquor store with the murder glass on Washington?" I asked incredulously. It turns out that "serviceable" is exactly the right term. The liquor store does, in fact, have a room full of wine. However, good luck trying to get any help choosing a bottle, and then good luck trying to pay for a bottle with your credit card, as there's a $20 minimum on charge cards (my pet peeve). I guess if you're one to just grab a white or a red and go, you'll be fine here, but if you're in the mood for anything specific, it's worth a walk to Fermented Grapes on Vanderbilt for better selection and expert help.

there is a sign on the door to the cooler that says (and I am paraphrasing): "to find the price of a cold bottle of wine . . . find what wine you want, remember the label, find that same label on the shelves of warm bottles wine where there are price tags" I am actually serious . . . so instead of ponying up the dough for a price label making device, you, the customer, unless you have an amazing memory, are expected to go back and forth pricing bottles of wine until you find something in your price range. but the things that annoyed me enough to write a negative reviews is the fact that they have a $20 card minimum and they don't take AmEx . . . lame.

I love this store. It has a great selection of unique wines that are hard to find in other stores. Their setup is welcoming and I appreciate the section with Manager's Favorites. The staff is also friendly and the prices are reasonable.

I've found this place to have the best prices on liquor in the area. The selection isn't the widest, but they have the basics, and the staff is friendly.

As a really satisfied customer, I feel it necessary to Yelp about Grand Plaza Liquors. I mean why wouldn't I offer my kudos to a neighborhood business that obviously pays a great deal of attention to detail, extending beyond an impressive selection of spirits and wines to the immaculately polished red tile floors, and wines chilled to the perfect ready-to-sip temperatures? There's something for everyone here. For the adventurous, or the lucky, there's a lotto machine upon entry. Service is also great. I'm serious, they're all the perfect blend of customer service: attentive yet distant enough to allow you to decide on your purchase without feeling as if you were either being stalked or conversely, downright ignored. I'm guessing the 'Think Tank' signage is a clever moniker for the manager's office. And one of Grand Plaza's Thinkers keep the chuckles going...there's an interesting sign on the door of the wine chiller, providing instructions for finding your perfect bottle of wine. It's actually a tongue-in-cheek 'how to' find YOUR perfect bottle of wine and making another as readily available to the following customer. The folks at Grand Plaza keep it orderly, enjoyable, and altogether rewarding. There's always something new to try. And the featured novelty more often than not makes its way home along with my favourite cabernet or moscato. They've got my repeat business for all the above reasons. And I hope that the folks at Grand Plaza are here to stay.

I'm such a fan of this place that I came all this way to write a review! They're open late, they deliver for free(!) and they sell a big bitch of gateau negro Cabernet for $11! They have no claims of being a fancy wine shop, so the previous reviews are ridiculous. Also, they lowered the credit card minimum to $10.

They have a good selection of wine at reasonable prices. The staff is nice enough and are quick to ring me up. I dont understand how others who have reviewed the store can complain about a $20 card minimum when most places in the area don't accept cards at all. They also deliver, which I've never tried, but would probably be handy for a party-size purchase. I have had a great experience each time I come here. Its the only liquor store in the area I can say that about.

As soon as I came into the store I felt at home. The ambiance is awesome with the feel good, old school reggae playing while you browse the shelves. The spacious aisle made it great to really see everything the store had to offer. I love that all the wine, champagne and mixers and top shelf liquor was neatly and full stocked. The manager's favorites was a treat. Often times you walk into a liquor store and you don't know where to begin when selecting a wine for a dinner party but there is a whole section that has the popular wines and all the prices are clear and visible so you are not left wondering how much something will be when you get to the counter. All of the liquor has it's section and prices are somewhat cheaper than the average store. There is even a section with a bar to sample the drinks!. The staff was great at assisting me and more than willingly to help me out with my selection. I found more surprisingly pleasant was that there is a $10.00 dollar minimum to use your debit card. Most of the time you have to spend at least $30.00 dollars! Overall a great experience and definitely worth the trip from flatbush.
