I stayed at Grand Poet on the night of 14 November, and honestly, it was a solid experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit — they’re professional, helpful, and actually attentive, not just pretending. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Breakfast was the highlight. There were a lot of options, everything tasted fresh, and it didn’t feel like the usual “hotel buffet” you get elsewhere. Easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in Riga. Overall, the hotel is well-managed, the location is perfect, and the service is genuinely good. I’d stay here again without thinking twice.

Great stay at Grand Poet. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole hotel was. It looked brand new!! We really enjoyed being able to use the spa everyday. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Location was superb, right next to a beautiful park and couple of minutes walk into the old town. We made use of the electric scooters parked opposite the hotel.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Grand Poet Hotel in Riga! The design of the hotel is simply amazing — modern, stylish, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The service was top-notch from start to finish — everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The breakfast selection was excellent with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The spa is truly impeccable — clean, elegant, and relaxing — though it’s best to visit outside of peak hours to really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. My wife and I have recently returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. We were given room 518, which is very spacious with a view over the park. It was in a quiet location, we barely heard another guest or door shutting.||The hotel location is ideal for all central locations, the old town is a 5 minute walk across the park.||We had breakfast each morning which was good, with a wide selection of food and drink. Sunday was very busy, the other 3 days much quieter.||We used the spa area on a couple of occasions which we enjoyed.||The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them.||The only downside of the stay was the lack of hot water in our room, which I reported on 3 days. before it was finally acknowledged as an issue.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and friendly service. They were attentive and helpful, always ready with a smile and quick to answer any questions or offer suggestions for things to do in the area. The rooms were very pretty and tastefully decorated, with a fresh, clean feel that made it easy to relax after a day of work. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping everything spotless and well-stocked. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. There was plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, which felt healthy and refreshing, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fish, a unique and delicious touch that made the meal feel special. The only minor drawback was that the tables in the breakfast room were placed a little too close together, which could feel crowded during busy times. The hotel’s location is another major plus: it’s right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to key attractions, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a fantastic experience and excellent value. Very nice spa area as well!

Just got back from our stay at The Grand Poet, everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff where friendly and very helpful. The spa was very nice and we had a wonderful full body massage. Would recomend The Grand Poet to anyone visiting Riga, also a great location as only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town.

I stayed at the Grand Poet for five days during October and it was one of the best city hotel experiences I have had.||I had requested a quiet room and when I checked in this had been noted, so often this proves not to be the case. I had a really good nights sleep every night.||The room was really good, the breakfast is amazing, there is so much choice. I had two evening meals in the restaurant and both were excellent. You do pay a little more than going out to eat, but the hotel and staff work hard to make it worthwhile.||I used the spa which again was a nice option for a swim or a sauna and the gym. One thing I did find is that it is open to non residents and it can get busy, so best to choose the right moment to go.||One review I have read commented that the bath towels in the hotel are all on the small side and rather thin, possibly not the quality one would expect given the standard of everything else. I think I would agree with this, but its a minor thing taking everything into consideration.||The staff were always helpful, I had to leave extremely early on my last day, the front desk organised a taxi and also a breakfast for me to take away.||I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting Riga.

An excellent hotel in a good location. Next to a beautiful park and in walking distance to the old town. Hotel itself was beautifully renovated. A clean and quiet room. A bed was high quality so had a good sleep after a long days outdoors. Wide selection at breakfast with a sparkling wine. Spa was not very spacious but nice with a pool, jacuzzi and different saunas. The staff was friendly and good at their jobs. We had a perfect stay, nothing to complain about.
