Google
Very friendly staff and exact service. Huge menu and great food. I really enjoyed the sezchuan chicken wings. Spicy, crispy, juicy. Well done on those. Got tea comes with the meal which was a nice treat. Food came out very quickly, was hot and tasty.

Google
Honestly, it is a very reasonably priced Chinese restaurant. The food is good and the service is fine. They have a great lunch menu that is mostly catered to American palet and other authentic Chinese dishes. This is definitely a family friendly restaurant located in a strip mall. I'd recommend giving them a try. We'll definitely be back!

Google
A hidden gem in the greater Twin Cities area. I came here for lunch on Saturday and absolutely loved the soup noodles. We got the beef brisket and the pork ribs one. I recommend the beef one more - the meat was just more tender and more flavorful. The squid rolls were amazing. I highly recommend this dish if you like squid. It was a good mixture between crispy and squid texture. I recommend this place to anyone who likes spicy food (they have non-spicy dishes too). The drive was a bit far but definitely a must check out place if you’re in the area!

Google
This restaurant has become a beloved staple for our family. With a wide variety of options at affordable prices, we always leave satisfied and with plenty of leftovers. The service is consistently excellent—our food arrives quickly, and every dish is flavorful and delicious. They offer both a regular menu and a Szechuan menu, making it a fantastic spot for those craving authentic Szechuan cuisine. Standout dishes include the garlic green beans, Chung King chili chicken, and the incredibly tasty Dan Dan noodles. While they do serve some American-style Chinese dishes, the highlight here is the traditional Szechuan flavors. Highly recommended!

Google
I was told this place was great and had to try it. It was very busy, great servers, fun, family atmosphere, but the food is just plain and simple bland. I get it, I get it. Traditional Chinese dishes and not Americanized Chinese dishes. Tripe, kidney, and other items not on most "Chinese" menus. The portions were good and the prices in line, but the food was just not good. The Szechwan dumplings were decently cooked, but the sauce was all oil, a bit spicy, but again, very little flavor. The Mongolian chicken was recommended from someone waiting in line with us so I tried it. The chicken was fatty and chewy. I had to add soy sauce for any flavor at all. Slimy, bland, chicken. Not appetizing. I also tried the cashew chicken. It was small pieces of fried chicken with a few carrot slices and some cashews. The meat just tasted roughly like the batter, but again, was fatty and gross. Just like an entire chicken was just cut up and every part thrown in. No trimming. Maybe you'll have better luck with different dishes, but it's a no for me dog.

Google
A large wonton only gave me for wontons. It came in a quart size container but was only filled to Pint size. The sesame chicken was bone dry with no real sauce on the outside, and as you can see hardly any sesame seeds. Very disappointed with this place.

Google
Grand Szechuan Restaurant is a true gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine. The food here is absolutely the best—packed with bold, perfectly balanced flavors that leave you wanting more. What makes it even better is the price. You get top-quality dishes at a surprisingly good value, making it a go-to spot for an amazing meal that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommended for a delicious and affordable dining experience!

Google
We tried the General Tsaos and Crunchy Spicy Chicken. They both had a pepper by them so I was expecting a little spice but they were both pretty mild. The General Tsaos had a sweeter taste than spicy. The Crunchy Spicy chicken was a pretty large dish. I think I will try a different dish next time. I did enjoy the fried rice.

Yelp
Probably top 3 (maybe the best) Sichuan in MN! This was a great place that was efficient, cooked promptly, and had attentive service. Dishes were very reasonable portion and price wise. Ordered: - Mapo Tofu (4/5): Creamy, oily, and spicy. - String Beans (5/5): Cooked with right amount of oil and flavor - Spicy Chicken (5/5): Wok-Hei gave the chicken a nice char and blended well with the chilli - Eggplant (3.5/5) - Beef Chow Fun (3.5/5). A good classic to balance out all the spiciness.

Yelp
I was honored to join some of Minneapolis's top tech minds at Grand Szechuan for a business lunch. The organizer promised the perfect spot, and Lord, was he right. Nothing brings data scientists, AI nerds, and tech leaders together like sharing fiery Szechuan dishes. Between debating neural networks and scaling strategies, we passed around the hot and sour soup that's become my obsession. It's rich as Tennessee soil and complex as a heartbreak ballad. I dream about that soup. The lunch special's a hell of a deal. We got to know each other over those delicious Szechuan specialties, and the service flowed like elegant code, efficient without interrupting our conversations. The supper club atmosphere actually let us hear each other's innovations. Grand Szechuan is where great minds and great food create beautiful business harmony. It's the perfect setting for networking, with a side of the best damn hot and sour soup in the metro.

Yelp
Have been hearing good things about this place and the place we were planning to go to Crystal Garden was closed on Mother's Day and so we traveled to Bloomington for some Chinese food. We got seated right away and was glad that the host let us switch to a bigger round table with a lazy susan for ease of sharing our entrees with each other without having the pass the dishes around. Service was prompt and food came out fairly quickly. It was quiet and not very busy but the restaurant is not very big and so it was cozy with lighting not super bright. The food was tasty and has a good spicy flavor for the different regions that the dishes represented. I enjoyed the Chengdu grilled squid and the hollow vegetables stir fried in garlic sauce very much. Our server was super nice and brought out extra soups and salads for us. Pricing was reasonable. Wish that I could have had other dishes on the menu but will have to come back to try them later. Definitely recommend coming with large group to order for a family style meal.

Yelp
Not the greatest, but not the worst! Ordered for takeout and it was lacking flavor but chicken was cooked good and has a good breading to chicken ratio! Service was friendly and was easy to order!

Yelp
I love really spicy king pao chicken and this place delivers. I ordered take out and it was packaged very well. I should have indicated that I wanted egg drop soup not hot and sour. The king pao definitely had some heat but I would have preferred the red peppers were whole because they kept getting stuck on the chicken and were tough to remove. I didn't get my salad which was a disappointing since I love their salad. I'll still come here but I think I'll dine in and not do takeout.

Tim A.

Yelp
Young man at host stand was not helpful and rather rude. We' d never eaten there before and wanted to do take out. When we tried asking a couple questions about that his response was very curt, and the answers not clear, like we were a nuisance. This place may have good food but we won't bother coming back.

Yelp
Service is okay, typical old school Chinese restaurant service or what you'd expect at your family's house. Sometimes it's hard to find your water or get water refills. Most in my party has adhd so we usually order too many dishes and the waiter had commented along the lines of that's a lot of food when taking our order. We know that. Don't go if you want good service, go if you want good food. My favorites are the Szechuan tofu and Szechuan fries. I really wish they would cook the fries a little longer though because they're always undercooked on the inside but the flavors usually hits.

Yelp
Decided to come here for dinner because we were in the mood for some Sichuan food. Since it was a weekday evening, the dining area was very crowded, so we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Chung King Chili Chicken (aggressively spiced and a bit dry), Vermicelli with Spicy Minced Pork (soupier than expected), Cumin Lamb (good flavor, a bit dry), Fish Fillet & Tofu in Szechuan Chili Broth (very spicy), Szechuan Green Beans (well-seasoned), and Shredded Potato & Green Peppers (sautéed perfectly). Everything was tasty and satisfied our spicy food cravings. Service was casual but friendly. Parking is super convenient since the restaurant is located in a strip mall connected to a large parking lot.

Yelp
The quality went down the hill. I got their soup the meat was non edible the cheapest chewy pieces maybe like 5 tiny pieces with maybe like 3 tiny pieces of cabbage. Flavor of the soup broth was good. Hand cut noodles were too thick stuck together by the time I got home ( 10 min drive ) and were not that good . Service was ok not really friendly but I didn't care I was just hoping for good food but it fell flat . Probably will keep looking for good place it, this meal was not it

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch, menu is a bit overwhelming. Ordered shrimp general tos, and a beef appetizer to share. Shrimp was great, but not spicy, fried rice wasnt my favorite but the beef appetizer was very flavorful and nice spice level. Will try again, with white rice.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and always go for lunch! The food is great every time I go and the lunch special is very reasonable for the amount of food you get!

Nisha M.

Yelp
Grand Szechuan is one of my favorite places to get takeout from and the food has consistently been great. I cannot say the same for the service, however. The gentleman at the front desk should not be in any customer-facing role and is downright rude. If my kids didn't like the food as much as they do, I would never go back.
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Food is always on point here. I love coming here especially during their lunch specials because it's a good price and large portions. I love the light Chinese music playing in the background. Service could be a little better by being more attentive to the customers. One thing to note is if you ask for chili oil on the side you'll get a very very dirty container. Looks like it's never been washed..

Yelp
Fantastic food in unsuspecting building. Located in a strip mall this restaurant is one of the best food spots in the twin cities. Be careful if you choose something spicy, it can get pretty hot!

Yelp
the mapo has flavor!. lots of mid Sichuan food in twin cities but this one stands out. we got take out of : mapo, gen tso, beef tendon, sesame balls, lo mein, most hit besides the general tso was hammered asf. looking forward to more

Yelp
I am 100% in love with this place. Thanks, Kedar, for the recommendation! The flavors they're serving up are seriously exquisite. Lo Mein - At the waitress's suggestion, I ordered Veggie Lo Mein. The flavor was amazing. I was, however, surprised that it didn't come with any extra veggies. The onions, snap peas, and mushrooms (which I omitted) are standard. I was expecting the veggie to add broccoli and carrots, at least. Nonetheless, we had a LOT of food on the table, so it wasn't an issue. In the future, I'll clarify and ask to add broccoli. Kung Pao Tofu - Ordered extra spicy. Loved the flavor. The tofu was fried and perfectly firm. I ended up mixing the kung pao tofu with the lo mein, instead of the rice. Excellence! I will order this combination every time. Szechuan Green Beans - Delicious! Plenty of sautéed garlic along with the other seasonings. Again, flavor is the keyword at this joint. All of the aforementioned entree portions are huge! If I wasn't on a foodie mission, this could've easily lasted for 3 extra meals. Great value! Szechuan Potato Fries - Crispy and deliciously spiced. These may be my new favorite fries. 10/10 will order again. Vegetable Egg Rolls - They're ok. I've had better; I've had worse. Decent sized rolls (not tiny). I also tried my fellow vegans' peanuts and diced tofu and chili sauce (great flavor. Wasn't expecting it to be a chilled vs warm/hot dish), and Bamboo Shoots in Chili sauce (it was unexpectedly delicious!). I am so impressed by the food here that I will definitely revisit before leaving town. I plan to try the Tofu Clay Pot next. Service was good, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is clean and spacious. (They accept ApplePay here too.)

Yelp
First time coming here with some colleagues on a Saturday night. We had a horrible experience with the one of the male servers. Although we had a 6:30P.M reservation. Came on time but there was a line so I skipped the line to inform that we are here on a reservation for 6:30P.M. Since some of the people in line were for there for take out or didn't have reservations. He didn't acknowledge me waiting and when I said we had a reservation, he said "there's a line". Keep in mind that was also after our reservation time which was 6:36P.M. Never coming back!

Yelp
We've been meaning to check this place out at the recommendation of an old coworker and finally made our way and had a good time! I'll start by saying - we felt like we got our money's worth and were very happy with the quality of the food that we ordered. Like others have said, the service is a bit lacking and part of that is due to the language barrier. While it wasn't the best service I've ever had, it also wasn't the worst and I would visit here again if we found ourselves in the neighborhood. However, these places are a dime a dozen in the suburbs so I'm not sure that we will make our way back when we have perfectly good options in our suburb. We were there for a Friday night dinner and only waited a few minutes to get sat, place was very busy which we hoped was a good sign of things to come! Our server initially was very attentive but once we had put in our orders it seemed as though she did not care to check on us. It was enough that we were able to keep our drinks full, but not in any other respect. We ended up waiting a bit to leave as she hadn't returned to check on to-go containers (which we did want since these portions are HUGE!) and to give us the check for us to pay. Again, it clearly wasn't the worst service we've ever had but it certainly wasn't the best. What this place has going for it plain and simple is the serving size for the price and the absolutely massive menu of options.

Yelp
I am a MAJOR fan of Sichuan Chinese food. I could eat it every day, I seek it out when I travel, and I cook it at home regularly. But when I moved to Minnesota, I felt like there were very few authentic Sichuan Chinese restaurants in town that were to my standards. Grand Szechuan is the exception. Eating in or taking out, you can't go wrong. The inside is pretty large and has classic Chinese restaurant decor. Service is great and your food comes out super fast. It's so hard to pick the best foods here because I rarely encounter something I dislike: their mapo tofu is EXCEPTIONAL. Seriously amazing depth of flavor and a wonderful texture. Love their cool noodle and Dan Dan noodle dishes, as well as their chengdu wontons, shredded pork with Peking sauce, & the beef with Napa cabbage. Also can't go wrong with a classic - Kung pao chicken! Do yourself a favor and order from the Sichuan menu and not the American menu. Its their specialty and you won't regret it!

Patrick C.

Yelp
Sizzling shrimp was inedible, just awful. Chicken fried rice terrible too. This place sucks ass. Egg rolls abysmal, just crap all around. Don't ever go!!!!
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Got a huge order for takeout last night. Was ready fast (like freaky fast) which was nice for a Saturday. Highlights: -orange chicken- this usually doesn't travel super well for takeout but it was crispy, hot, sweet and delicious- everything you want in orange chicken. -green beans in black bean sauce- a favorite in our family -chengdu spicy dumplings- so good! Smothered in flavorful chili oil. Nice level of heat. -beef and broccoli: sold basic, everything we wanted. -cream cheese wontons- crispy, hot, filled with cream cheese and not too sweet (I don't like them too sweet) Good but wouldn't order again: bbq pork with pea tips- only ok. Kung pao tofu- it was good and I liked the firm texture of the tofu but it lacked something- maybe flavor? Maybe I wanted it a little saucy? Felt a little bland but maybe because everything else had so much flavor. All told, pleasantly surprised. Would definitely do takeout again.
google avatar

Kimberly M.

Yelp
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the twin cities. I usually order to go - my favorites are the quick fried crispy fish filet, milky crispy shrimp, Dan Dan noodles, Szechuan dumplings, soup dumplings and crab delight wontons. If you're a fan of crab Rangoon definitely try those because they're the best around.

Erin K.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in the south metro. Slaps every time and we have been coming here for over 10 years! I really can't think of what else to write other than I love Grand Szechuan and you will too!

Yelp
My wife and I came here for the very first time last weekend because she was craving for Chinese food. The ambiance was quite peaceful since we went prior to dinner time. We ordered a fried noodle dish, spicy wontons, and a mapo tofu. My wife loves noodles, but her and I both agreed that the noodles were lacking in flavor. It wasn't bad, but it could've been better. Our personal favorites had to be the spicy wontons and mapo tofu. The spice level of both dishes were perfect. We both enjoyed it very much. Our server was very nice and attentive towards us. She came to check up on us multiple times and refilled our waters without us even asking. Thank you for the great first experience at this establishment.

Yelp
One more visit and as always amazing food. Tried chicken curry and fried beans this time and loved them.

Yelp
I've tried so hard to remain a fan of this restaurant. The first time I went I could not stop raving about it. I had the squid and tofu hot pot and was blown away by its complex flavors and deep red color! The second time I went I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and dumplings. Again, like a true believer, I kept spreading the gospel. And the third time I went I ordered the Pi Pa tofu and that sealed the deal for me. Pi Pa tofu was my new favorite go-to. So imagine my disappointment when the next time I went I was told they had no Pi Pa tofu that night. I ordered something -- fish and lamb in clay pot soup -- and it was uninspiring, not to mention misleading. It was more like a few meatballs made of ground fish and lamb in a flavorless broth. But that did not stop me from going again and ordering my favorite Pi Pa tofu. But when I ordered it the server frowned as she said, "No. That takes too long to make." So I ordered the crispy spicy chicken which was more batter than chicken and not that inspiring. Still Pi Pa called my name. So I went again and ordered it and was told, again, I could not have it because it takes too long to make. I honestly don't remember what I ordered instead. That should tell you how memorable that meal was. Driving home I called the restaurant and asked why I can no longer order Pi Pa tofu and was told that because it takes so long to make, I should call ahead the next time and order it so it will be started and even possibly ready when I arrive. So that's what I did tonight. I called ahead of time and said I wanted to order the Pi Pa tofu and the man on the other end of the phone asked if I was on my way and I told home I was and that I would be there in about 15 minutes. He said, "Okay! We will get that started for you." When I arrived I told him I was the one who called ahead for the Pi Pa tofu and he sat me and said, "Ah, yes, I'll tell your server." And he did. The server then came to my table, frowned, and told me I could not order the Pi Pa tofu tonight because it takes too long to make (she then came back and told me the chef was not there, so...) I ordered dumplings and some over-battered shrimp and vowed to never come back again. Such a shame. Such potential. So if you want the Pi Pa tofu don't go here. Everything else is a gamble.

Yelp
Service just ok. Food was the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. We ordered steamed dumplings that were awful. Could not eat - a piece of bad tasting sausage wrapped in very thick dough. The soup was a bad spicy broth full of unidentified items. We ordered General Tso Shrimp- terrible sauce and Kung Pao chicken- awful. The egg rolls tasted old and inedible. Fried rice was extremely bland. Plates were chipped and ice cold. Food was warm only. To top it off, one of our fortune cookies had no fortune. Never again Ambiance was ok

Yelp
Food is delicious! I forgot to take photos before we dug in. The server was kind and told us that food was going to come out a bit slower due to the restaurant being really packed as it's the Chinese Lunar New Year. I appreciated them telling us. It's great seeing so many Chinese families coming here to celebrate - tells me that the food is authentic.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in MN hands down. This place isn't even in the same league as the rest of the Chinese places in MN. Very authentic and great tasting food. Some of my favorites are the Fish in Chili Sauce and Chung King chicken. Edit: WATCH OUT FOR WAITERS ADDING A TIP. We were group of 5 and the waiter added a tip on our bill. I should have looked closer to the bill before giving my credit card, but when the receipt for the credit card came back, I noticed the bill seemed higher. I asked the waiter for the original bill, which was removed from the final credit card for signing, he happened to have it in his pocket. Too bad the food is excellent, but watch out for the service. 5 Stars for the food 3 Stars for service

Yelp
We've been semi-regulars at Grand Szechuan for a few years now, and we've loved everything we've ever ordered there. We do our best to try something new almost every visit. Tonight it was the Szechuan Cold Bean Jelly appetizer, and it was incredible. We also had an old standby with the Fish Fillet Soup with Pickled Vegetable. Every time we order it, I'm struck with just how delicious this simple soup can be. Finally we had the Tofu with Shrimp & Pickled Pepper--a bright, rich dish that we also love. Other favorite dishes that have become regular orders are: Country Style Chicken, Ma La Beef Tendon, Minced Beef and Peanuts with Tofu in Chili sauce, Chinese Bacon with Rice Cake, Ma Po Tofu, Pi Pa Tofu, Fish Flavor Eggplant, and quite a few more. The service is always friendly and helpful, and we've often asked the opinion of our server when we just can't make up our minds, and they have never steered us wrong. Definitely order for sharing at this place. A few of the dishes might be a little intense on their own--but the recipes were created to be served family style for sharing. We prefer always to order with the intent to share everything with everybody. This is our favorite place. Give it a shot.

Yelp
We went to grand Szechuan a little late, and probably an hour or two before closing, so there were a couple of small miscommunication errors such as wrong ordered dishes, no bowls, no utensils, no tea cups, etc. The food was a little off, so I am assuming they were in cleanup mode, instead of a cooking mode. No fault to them. Here are the memorable dishes, good or bad. Szechuan green beans: fantastic taste with a punch of crispness. 5/5 Beef szechwan: I think the beef was undercooked, because it tasted spongy. It kind of tasted like it was boiled, which is not my favorite. 2/5 Water: they put ice back in the water, which is something I cannot live without in a dining experience. 5/5 Tip: Try not to go to certain restaurants one and a half hours before closing.

Yelp
Another bad neighborhood experience. This has been one of my three area mainstay places - they serve sizzling rice soup (with shrimp!) which is hard to find (but not impossible) and quite tasty. Food hasn't usually been an issue - service has been, the new 4% credit/debit service fee, and as of today a mini-spat about a significantly reduced portion size are the sticking points. This time I won't be back. A few weeks ago I had my usual large bowl of shrimp sizzling rice soup. I usually eat half (a big bowl meant for two) but there was a misunderstanding and they threw it away when I asked for a container. They tried to make up by packing a small container of soup - different broth, no vegetables, no shrimp. Failure. Tonight I ordered it again and when he set a bowl down that was the size of a cereal bowl I objected. He got the waitress that said it's the size - and she didn't listen when I pointed out that it was half the size of a few weeks ago. She took it back and brought it out in a new bowl - same size. I stopped complaining and ate it. Interestingly they hadn't cut back the size of the sizzling rice serving and it nearly didn't fit. Judge for yourself - is the attached picture a big bowl of soup for two people? They didn't even bring a smaller bowl to split the soup. It sucks. I will find another and have good memories, but it feels like another failure waiting to happen.

Yelp
Worst service and equally bad food. Even after providing the feedback there at restaurant, owner didn't even care to acknowledge it. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Grand Szechuan offers a wide array of delicious food options on their menu. They are more renowned for their spicy Szechuan dishes, they also have plenty of good non-spicy delights. Of the three dishes I ordered, I would only caution those sensitive to fishy taste to avoid the steamed flounder fillet as it had a mild fish taste but soft and flaky like you expect for a flounder. I dropped to a 4 star rating as the service was a little slow (like asking for rice bowls, tea cup and rice) considering they weren't packed that evening but super fast and efficient in taking your orders and sending over billing upon request . I will say that the dishes served as Grand Szechuan compared to other restaurants like Tea House or Legendary Spice near dinky were less oily and felt a little healthier as dishes too oily makes me feel like I'm gonna get a heart attack or clog my arteries

Yelp
Grand Szechuan has upped its game in the decade since I first tried it. I'd say it's the best Szechuan in the Twin Cities metro. For appetizers/accompaniments, we got the Szechuan lotus roots ($9), which have awesome crunch and spiciness. The bamboo shoots in chili sauce ($8) also hit the spot and are a great topping on any dish or fine to eat alone. The Szechuan onion pancake ($5.50) was too crispy but was still fine to eat. Meanwhile the peanuts & diced tofu in chili sauce ($8) add a ton of spice, Szechuan peppercorn and texture. For mains, the ma po tofu ($10) was hearty, rich and spicy with tons of tongue-numbing Szechuan peppercorn. We loved it. It can be made vegan by omitting the meat/pork. The Szechuan spicy tofu ($10) was boring and doesn't travel well (it's fried, so by the time we got home, it was rubbery). We loved the stir fried pea tips ($14); this is the best leafy green in town. The Szechuan dan dan noodles ($5.50) can be made vegan by omitting the meat/pork. This dish was fine, but nothing special. Lastly, the vegetable lo mein ($9) was just middling. The Twin Cities has a ton of Szechuan restaurants, but this one is the best. For second place, check out Szechuan in Roseville. Legendary Spice, Lao Sze Chuan and Tea House near the University are mixed and not as consistent.

Yelp
Thank you Dan for solving our gift card situation. We had lunch today and it was wonderful. So pleased put Grand Szechuan back on our list ...you have always been excellent.

We were in the mood for some Chinese food and decided on Grand Szechuan. I have lived in Bloomington all my life and have never known of this place. Crazy right?? I'm a sucker for some good ole Chinese food and love to try new places. Even better when it's two minutes away from the home. It was a Saturday afternoon around 5:15pm. The place was hopping! The inside was much bigger than I thought it would be. It's a place that you can sit down and eat inside without feeling like you're right next to each other. We did not plan to eat in though, so ordered take out at the counter. Since it was the dinner rush, it took around a half hour to get the food. We just sat there in the waiting area for it. If you don't want to wait, pre-order online! The front desk guy wasn't the happiest dude in the world but maybe he was just stressed? Anyway, I got my food and it's ready to be devoured. The menu is ginormous but we did not choose anything from the Szechuan part of it. We really enjoyed the chicken chow mein and lo mein! We also tried the orange and general tsos chicken. They weren't bad but not impressive. Both chickens tasted the same, the orange sauce with just the slightest bit of tang. The portion sizes are hugggeeee so you'll have plenty of leftovers. Because their menu is so big. I hope to try some other dishes there before officially making my decision about this place.

Yelp
I highly recommend the chung chili chicken and dumplings in chili oil. I like that hot tea was complimentary. Food was hot and fresh. Service was excellent. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Having eaten Chinese food all over the world, I find this restaurant to have the most authentic cuisine I have eaten outside of china. For those who are not acquainted with traditional Chinese food they have their American menu. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. We were seated immediately and served water and tea. We started our meal with my favorite appetizer spicy Dan Dan noodles which is spicy and has amazing flavor. We shared a plate of Chung King Chili Chicken.

Yelp
We have always enjoyed the food, the service and the ambience of this restaurant when visit Minneapolis. The staff always have a smile on their face - a great place for a family get together at a reasonable price. Also, it is my grand daughter's favorite!!

Yelp
Came here on Christmas Day with family. Ordered a bunch of recommended dishes. Fast service, comfy booths. Food was spectacular. Generous portions. Intense flavors. Great place for a feast. So many different things to try, looking forward to returning. And I don't often say that about any restaurant.

Yelp
This is a wonderful go to place for most of our family. This time was also a tasty celebration. However a couple dishes turned out to be a bit spicier (hot) than I expected. But it was quite delicious.

Yelp
Got the Szechwan chicken and Mongolian chicken with fried rice nd cream cheese puffs - $63. The chicken was disgusting- translucent in appearance and no flavor.

Yelp
Eat here and order takeout out at least once a month over the past ten years. Make sure to order from the Szechuan menu which is spicier and offers more authentic Asian dishes. Huge variety.

Yelp
We love the Szechuan food here. It is spicy, flavorful and has a large variety. When we visited most recently, the service was nonexistent. Everyone around us and who had arrived after us, was getting food. We inquired 2-3 times about our food. More than an hour later, two of four dishes arrived. Fifteen minutes after, the third arrived. We canceled the appetizer at this point. In our opinion, calling ahead for takeout is likely a better plan than dining room service.

Yelp
Here is what we ordered: Pan Fried noodles- sweet Green beans- semi salty Mapo tofu, cold tendon and cold beef tongue- all extremely salty The food is overall ok. The flavors are there, but less sweet and salty would be better. I ate the leftovers and diluted the saltiness. It was better! We did not receive a greeting from the host or a "thank you. Have a good night" when leaving. No manners.

Yelp
This continues to be my favorite Chinese food place. The portions are good and the food comes out fast. The service is good as well. The cream cheese wontons are perfect. It is the pot stickers that are the star. These are homemade and huge. They are bigger than your average pot sticker. I have also had the dumplings and those are also delightful. The Mongolian beef was seasoned to perfection!
