I ordered the Aurelia Crepe with an additional banana. It was tasty, though a bit on the pricey side. However, I’d like to share some feedback on the service: We initially ordered the crepe (12 + tax) with ice cream, which was listed at $5 + tax. After payment, we were told that ice cream was unavailable and were offered fruit as a substitute. We declined and requested a refund for the ice cream. However, only $4 was refunded, and we were offered a banana (valued at $1) instead. This resolution felt unfair. A more reasonable approach would have been to either: Refund the full $5 + tax; or Refund $4 + tax and provide the $1 banana at no extra charge. Well it is just a small money, but it just feel not sincere enough.

I was surprised this place wasn’t more highly rated. The food was superb (Forestriere with egg and a mocha), service great and unique vibe and location. A little pricey, over $20 for a fast casual breakfast. But no complaints. Delish and I would recommend!

Enjoyed visiting San Francisco Market area while in town with my sister. She ordered a small cappuccino we shared to sample Cre’pe with strawberry and a jam along with it almond crusted chocolate croissant they both were delicious . The Jam sauce we tried with both items definitely recommend trying

Amazing pastry! We went during a farmer's market day. Saturday I think. We got here just as it opened, very soon after there was a line. We got a pastry with fresh peach baked into the top. Melted in our mouths! We sat at one of their indoor tables, they had seating for maybe 16 people. (?) I wanted to buy more as they were so fresh- but the line had gotten longer.

Google
Good food, but pricy. I can't say I'm dying to come back here though. My wife and I snagged a crepe and I got a latte, nearly $40. There was nothing wrong with the food and the presentation was nice. We were provided plasticware that did do the job well, but you can tell that you're paying for the ferry building just as much as for the food. The latte was good, the crepes were good and were filling enough, my wife even took a bit home with her. They did have plenty of pastries and sweet crepes that looked quite delicious, but similarly overpriced. All-in-all, I wouldn't aim for this place for a meal, but if you're in the area and want a crepe, it's not a bad choice at all. Just accept that you're adhering to the laws of supply and demand on this one beforehand and you'll have a good time.

Google
What type of no effort crepe place is this. I got the seasonal fruit one and they just placed a straight pear on top with nothing inside the actual crepe. And for my friend they didn’t even put the Nutella inside

Google
Nice creperie. The sweet ones are more flavorful and soft than the sour ones, but still a good choice if you don’t have a sweet tooth. The outside sitting is really nice, with views to the port and the sea but sheltered from all people going by, so you don’t feel in the middle of the street.

Google
The food, those serving trays, the decor, and location were so classy and French! The savory and sweet crepe menu has plenty of interesting options. Loved my burrata crepe with veggies. The Pear crepe was well made, too. The outdoor seating has beautiful views for a relaxed meal.

Yelp
As a crêpe connoisseur, I can confidently say this spot rivals the crêpe stands scattered around Paris. I will go to great lengths to get my hands on a Nutella banana crêpe (with whipped cream, of course), and Grand Crêperie absolutely smashes it. Their presentation is excellent, the ingredients are perfectly ripe, and the feel of the place surpasses any standards of a french crêperie. Don't pass up your opportunity to experience the pinnacle of crêpe excellence. If you're passing through the Ferry Building and that urge hits, give this spot a try.

Yelp
Update: Several hours after eating, I had mild food poisoning symptoms, and Grande Crêperie was the only place I ate at all day. In hindsight, the consistency of the quiche was very loose, and I wonder if it was under-cooked. The quiche sits out on the counter, so possibly beware. -- This is an authentic crêperie located in the SF Ferry Building. We got the mushroom savory crapes, one with and one without an egg. I recommend with the egg for brunch! Their coffee is good, and strong. We also got a slice of veggie quiche, which was good, but missing a central ingredient to tie the flavors together. Looking forward to trying other dishes here.

Yelp
Tasty but small and pricy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service is not as good because the cashier/server is extremely busy. I recommend the business rearrange the task assignments because the people in the kitchen seem to be chilling. Love the vibe and the ferry building.

Yelp
Came here on an afternoon walk and the vibe was really nice. Love the decor and the stack of vinyls available on the side. I tried the banana flambee and the texture decent but I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavor. Lil pricey but the service was good and it's a good place to sit and rest.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Great to have a crepe place in the area, and this place is ok. Got a complete crepe and a strawberry one. Reasonable if you are in area or craving crepes, but not a destination place. Pluses: Solid selection of sweet and savory crepes Friendly staff and quick service Not too long of a line, even during Saturday lunch. So so: Croissants and other baked goods are cold, so they are just ok. Bit crowded space, right next to the door, so feels more of a quick grab and go or eat and go place.

Yelp
11/29/2024 This little place in the Ferry Building was not busy when we arrived. It was small and quaint, towards one of the back entrances. The plain croissant and pain au chocolat croissants were fresh, flaky and delicious. We ordered a Nutella crepe for Little O at 11:18 am. We did not get it until 11:30 am!!! The guy making the savory crepes was cranking out 2-3 crepes versus the lady that made one sweet crepe. What is going on?!? ‍ The female employee at the register does not communicate at all with those cooking the crepes. She seems overwhelmed taking orders, bagging pastries, and making coffee. Then when Little O went to eat her crepe we noticed something cooked into it - a piece of paper! We brought it back to the lady at the counter. She did not apologize at all or offer to have a new one made. We just asked for a refund. She happily gave it to us but still no apology. We gave two stars because the pastries were pretty good. But to have paper cooked into the crepe definitely turned us off (one star since you can't give zero stars).

Yelp
So after checking out the very busy farmers market at the Ferry Building, we decided to sit somewhere and get some food. Friend told me she already had an early morning snack of hard boiled eggs from the 7-11 close to her hotel, so I should get whatever that I wanted. We happened to pass by Grande Creperie which was on my "to try" list. Very busy on the particular Saturday we visited with lots of tourists. Line was a tad long and I had to wait maybe 15 minutes to order. I'm starting to appreciate those order it yourself type of kiosk in addition to in-person ordering. Maybe I'm just hungry and getting impatient. Signs of our time. Anyhoo, I got the La Marguerite crepe and an Americano. You pick up the drink first and then you can go find a seat with the order # they give you and a staff will deliver your crepe. The crepe itself is pretty substantial as it was a buckwheat crepe filled with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, greens and olive oil. My first time eating a buckwheat crepe. I ate it all by myself and it was pretty good tho I think I would want to try a sweet crepe next time. I reasoned that since it was a vegetarian crepe, it was fairly healthy and a good start to my day. Americano tastes like what it should. Ambiance is a small shop inside the ferry building with a few tables inside and some outside seatings. We prefer to sit outside as it was a nice day.

Yelp
Cute French restaurant in a corner of the Ferry Building with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered two savory crepes, an iced latte, and a chai latte for a total of about $45. The crepes were quite good - light and not too heavy with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was quite crowded at noon on a Sunday with a line to order. There was no more outdoor seating so we sat inside, which was a bit cramped. Overall good choice for a light brunch or lunch, but a little pricey and crowded.

Yelp
The crepes are delicious but lacked just a bit of flavor. The service was great and the crepes came out pretty fast. Would recommend but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Yelp
5 stars for the pastries. I have now had the Pain Au Chocolat, Pain Suisse and Almond Croissant. They were all good, but Pain Au Chocolat and Pain Suisse being my faves. These pastries are from Le Marais bakery. I've had many bakeries in the Bay Area and these are my current love affair. I am very happy they have their items at this creperie as it is closer to me!

Yelp
Wife and I stopped here on our way back to the hotel after being at the pier. We are always on the look out for a crepe, especially after having the real deal in Paris! And these folks were right on the money! The staff was helpful and friendly with questions we had with the menu. Any questions we had were answered quickly and cheerfully. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather that San Francisco had to offer, but the tables inside were clean. Definitely worth the stop!!

Yelp
The croissants here are so heavenly!!!! Every single of them. Pro-Tip: be sure to mention "sweetened" when ordering matcha. The matcha was good but it had no sugar, so that was a bummer but in fairness I should've asked loll. Service is pretty smooth! They are located inside the Ferry Building.

Yelp
I am a crepe fanatic. I get them every time I see a place when I travel. That said... This is a quaint cafe, by the ferry departures, nice music playing and relaxed feel. You order at the counter & it was simple, they brought my crepe out. So no confusing 'what do I do' moments. I went with simple strawberry with jam (it's a French name I can't spell) and it was delicious. Jam is fresh purée & strawberries were ripe & perfect. The crepe is not my favorite style, I love them crispy at least on edges. But they were not too thick nor too chewy. Very nice texture & held up against the sauce. I would love some cream with it but appreciated the clean taste opportunity. Recommend!

Yelp
Big ups to the Grande Crêperie for opening early since my friend and I were looking for a spot to have breakfast. Service was relatively quick for crêpes although I'd recommend a pastry instead if you're in a rush. Food was good. We shared but I was running out of time so gave my friend most of his half back. Would return to try the pastries.

Yelp
Got the salmon crepe. It came with a little salad and dill sauce. It was light and delicious. A good snack. Def not filling enough for a meal. It came out very quick after ordering. It's a pay first and self seat situation. The baked goods looked good too. I'll have to come back to try.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute atmosphere as you can sit inside or outside. The Nutella crepe was my favorite. It comes with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. The crepe itself tasted yummy. We also got the savory ham crepe. It came in a healthier tasting crepe that was dark brown in color and crispier on the edges. The mozzarella one with tomatoes and garlic came in the same type of crepe. We got the chocolate chip cookie, and it was all right. They had other pastries, but I already had my mind set on the crepes, so I didn't try the others. (The pastries didn't look that tempting.) I'd only come back here for the Nutella crepe for dessert. While we were waiting for the food to come out, I went to go get coffee at Blue Bottle which now uses oat milk as a default. So, next time, I'll go to Red Bay for the Vietnamese coffee selections.

Yelp
Forestiere $16 mushroom and cheese. Not bad but not the greatest. Probably wouldn't get again. Came with a bit of salad which was nice

Yelp
The Bouchon (decadent, fudgy, melt-in-your-mouth brownie) wins by far. The Tigre Almond Cake was whatever.

Yelp
I ordered the Saumon crepe (smoked salmon, baby spinach, dill, crème fraiche) Pros: - cute spot to people watch in the ferry building - crepe served with a small side salad Cons: - buckwheat crepe may not be for everyone (very healthy tasting) - approximately $20 with tax and tip for a crepe - looks big but because it's very thin, it's not that filling
google avatar

Marco Y.

Yelp
It's a quaint place at the Ferry Building. Love the ham and cheese croissant, very buttery and flakey. The cashier (forgot her name) was very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Alisa P.

Yelp
The cutest French spot at the Ferry building! They have a wide variety of delicious savory and sweet crepes made of buckwheat flour and that crepes are huge! Love their bakery - all the pastries are in best Parisian traditions, buttery, not too sweet and flaky. Girls who are working there are very nice and efficient, you feel that they care. Their outdoor seating area has a lovely view to the ferry plaza and the Bay bridge, so I would recommend to come here on a sunny day and enjoy crepes and the view.
google avatar

Mariah B.

Yelp
We ordered the nutella crepe and the salmon/spinach crepe. They weren't bad, but boy were they expensive! We both agreed that the sweet crepes were better than the savory. The service was also quite nice, and the cashiers who assisted us were very friendly. I would not necessarily seek this spot out, but I would not be opposed to trying it again.
google avatar

Yelp
Small French crepe spot tucked in the corner of the Ferry Building. It has delicious food and quick and efficient service. Recommendations Saumon crepe Grande complete crepe They have sweet and savory crepes, and tea. They take card. The Ferry Building has bathrooms.

Yelp
With a variety of savory and sweet options, this is a great spot to spend some time at while checking out the ferry building. The food comes fast if you're trying to catch a ferry, and you're able to spend time in or outdoors. It was a great way to grab a bite before continuing with the day.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing crepes, served quickly and friendly in the nice SF Ferry building. Sweet and savory crepes are both equally delicious. Get one of each category. Can't wait to come back and try some more .
google avatar

Yelp
I had the crepe with apples, which was pretty good! Service was quick and ambiance was nice. They were open pretty early - much earlier than most of the other shops, so that's definitely a plus.
google avatar

Debora L.

Yelp
At lunch was the only place that could accommodate our group of 12 on a whim, with outdoor seating. Service was kind of slow and prices are on par with ferry building tourist prices. Crepes were flat and buckwheat and pretty good, also has coffee( sparkling water, and various pastries (pass on these). Takes apple/ google pay.

Yelp
Sadly, not a fan. Didn't take us back to Paris. Many of the items weren't available when we came Friday morning (stickers, placed over the sold out options). I ordered the forestiere. It was incredibly salty and I didn't finish it. I also tried my husband's saumon, which was a smoked salmon, it was a little fishy in flavor to me. We ordered the pear chocolat as a dessert, it wasn't that good. The chocolate on top of the pears became super watery. This one was also not finished. Only about two tables inside in front of the shop, more tables are available outside. You order inside, they also have a good selection of bakery items which we did not try. If you're dining there, they'll give you a sign and bring your order to you.
google avatar

Fumika T.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday during the ferry building farmers market. For $17 you can get a super flat pancake. The outdoor seating area was cute and shaded, not cleaned well between guests but at least we were happy to be able to sit down. We tried the goat cheese crepe but the distribution of contents within the crepe and general flavor was so-so. Not terrible if you're coming here for a pastime but definitely not filling.
google avatar

Helena L.

Yelp
My go-to crepe/galette spot! I find it usually hard to find a crepe shop that sells galettes (savory buckwheat crepe) that have the right amount of crispness. The sweet crepes are enjoyable too but I mainly just get a savory classic jamon. It may take some time to get your food. I just always allot 30 mins which is helpful for me to grab a table. Croissants are delicious as well

Yelp
Quick Summary - A few seats inside and the rest is outside - After ordering, you will receive a number with a stand. Look around when the staff arrives with food, that looks like yours - Food is delivered at the table, but drinks are served at the pickup section, so wait near the counter for your drink order. - Coffee is not sour We came here on a Saturday, and there was an event close by. Saturdays also have the farmer's market, so the Ferry Building was busy with people. Ordering this was not too hard, but the name on the menu is not easy to pronounce. I decided to point and nod, so I don't mess it up. We also ordered a cup of coffee to drink with the crepe. Someone from my group claimed a seat outside, while the rest waited inside until we got the drinks. The drinks were served first, but these were picked up from the counter. After grabbing the drinks, we went to our seats and chatted away until our food arrived. I don't recall how long we chatted, but it was a slew of topics. I would say, it took some time for the crepes to arrive. If it weren't for our fun chatter the wait might have more than 20 minutes. The food arrived one at a time per guest. Mine might have been last, and it was the one with the egg. I like the presentation of the crepe and how it's shaped differently from other crepes, where they are folded into a cone. All three took photos, but they looked similar in appearance; the difference is in the filling. I liked mine, where I was able to break the egg yolk and it spread through the crepe batter. My relative, who picked a different crepe had cheese that tasted a bit gamey for them. Mine was creamy and good, and the ham was delicious.

Yelp
I love (LOVE!) a good buckwheat crepe, and they are difficult to find. This place has taken over the Frog Hollow Farms spot in the ferry building. I ordered the Forrester (mushrooms, onions and goat cheese), but added an egg (of course!) - always an egg-cellent idea. It was a friday around lunch time, so the ferry building was hopping, but there were plenty of seats outside. I opted for the small table just outside the open kitchen. Some of the crepe bites were excellent, and then some of them were just meh. I also think they need to get more on their game when the crepes are completed and ready to serve. Several orders I saw sat there for a good 5 mins before one of the 2 gals up front went to serve them. Also they are served on these cool-looking metal tray/plates, but I think that makes the crepes cool extra fast too. Favorite crepe in the city remains Chez Maman.

Yelp
Food: The almond croissant was the favorite compared to the chocolate. Really flaky and just the right amount of powdered sugar. Fyi the matcha is unsweetened so remember to ask them to add in some honey! (If you want is sweetened). Service: from cashier service was nice and fast, (but not rushed) but to be fair I only ordered some coffee and croissants :) Ambiance: you get a really nice view of the farmers market outside. There is really cute French cafe style music playing on the inside.

Yelp
Excellent Breton-style buckwheat crepes, and lovely baked items that one would expect to find in a French bakery. Coffee drinks are well-made, as well. The day we visited, the counter staff did not go out of their way to be friendly, but the quality of the food made up for the lack of welcome we experienced. The indoor seating area is limited, but the space is located at the back of the Ferry Building with plenty of natural light and easy outdoor access - MUCH more light and pleasant than some of the gloomier sitting areas of restaurants that are located along the interior main hallway of the building. We will definitely eat here again when we're next at the Ferry Building during lunchtime.

Yelp
Super disappointing experience here waiting a long time for cold crepes and having a lot of miscommunication with one of their staff. I visited during the Saturday farmer market with my friend and waited in the long line since I was looking forward to a good buckwheat crepe after Galette 88 has closed. The French staff who took my order had trouble understanding anything I said. I ordered a cold chai latte for my friend, and the staff thought I said oat, so I said cold chai latte with whole milk. I asked for the long pastry twist which he pointed to, and I confirmed yes. The pastries didn't have any signs indicating what they were or how much they cost; so when I saw that he rang me up for a kouign amann I asked if the long pastry was a kouign amann, and he said yes. Then he handed me a round kouign amann so I told him I asked for the long pastry. He argued and said I ordered the round kouign amann and reluctantly switched the pastry for me. I took a seat at the communal table in front of the register. The barista called my name, and she handed me a hot chai latte; my friend originally wanted a cold one but was fine with a hot latte, and at least she said the latte and the twistie kouign amann tasted good. We waited a long time for our crepes which was fine since they're made fresh on the spot. I saw different staff walk around the small interior and to the outside seating holding the trays of crepes while calling out the name for the order (taken from the credit card payment). The buckwheat crepes looked good. However the staff who took my order happened to pick up two trays and walk around calling what sounded like Jenna. I repeated my name to him and he said Jenna again and walked outside. I saw him bring the two trays in again and leave them in the back near the kitchen. So I went to one of staff making crepes to ask if the trays have my order; she said I needed to talk to the other staff. When he finally came back he did confirm he had my crepes and apologized for his English. When we finally tried our crepes, they were no longer hot. The ham and comte cheese one was cold, bland, and not good. The mushroom one was slightly warmer in some areas and tasted better than the ham comte one because of the bechamel sauce. Both came with a side of arugula. Since they're new, they have a lot of kinks to work out, especially with communication with their staff member, but the mushroom crepe and the pastry I tried were good (crepe would've been even better if served hot).

Yelp
I didn't even look up this creperie ahead of time when I went to the SF ferry building. I just saw a good amount of people inside and decided to get a nutella and strawberry crepe and it was delicious! they also have savory crepes like the one my friend ordered. overall, it's a nice casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating!

Yelp
Sad to see Frog Hollow go, but happy to have a place cranking out crêpes made-to-order. The service was a bit slow on opening day, with the order backlog, but subsequent visits were faster. Also, don't miss their pastries which are worth picking up post-crêpe, for a snack later in the day. La Complète: Oh, this takes me back to Paris. All those quaint little galette places serving up delicious savory treats. Theirs was pretty tasty, being all the way in San Francisco. I especially like how their buckwheat had a nice heartiness too it, but also managed to be light and crispy. A generous amount of ham, some cheese and an egg cooked right in the middle. So filling I couldn't even get any sweets during this visit. Aurélia: Had to come back another time for a sweet crêpe. Wasn't like the dark buckwheat used in the savory crêpe, but more like the light dessert crêpe one would expect. Loved the caramel against dough, it was almost like having an indulgent pancake! Though It didn't seem like there were any crispy edges in this one. Croissant Au Beurre: Light and fluffy with a flaky exterior. It not quite Artisticulat level, but it's pretty good for the Bay Area. Jambon Gruyère Croissant: More meal-like, than a snack, since this croissant is filled with a very generous amount of cheese and some ham. Like if I was going to get on a ferry, without having eaten yet, this would be the perfect choice. Gâteaux: Buttery cake with a nice glazed sugary topping. Goes perfect with coffee in the morning. Brownie Bouchon: Surprisingly chocolaty and gooey. The size is really deceptive because it still ends up being very filling, thanks to the richness.

Yelp
Grande Crêperie, ç'est formidable so to speak. Just have to stop by last Wednesday at this splendid cafe inside the Ferry Building for a dessert and, of course, a signature chai latte of Chico Chai. Looking at the atmosphere around me, it feels like I'm somewhere in the Paris metropolitan area, without leaving the Bay Area. All the staff who worked here were like French immigrants. Wherever they are, they serve good coffee, as well as some pastries. Crêpes are what makes Grande Crêperie recognizable. It takes 10 minutes for a crêpe to be done. But I needed to get back to my workplace after less than half an hour, so I chose the berried flavor scone instead. I like how a female barista made a chai latte for me. She'll turn out to be a good chaiwallah. After a sip, tasted more comfortable and less spicy. But not as remarkable as traditional masala chai of Samovar. Hopefully one day, I'll be on a hunt for the karak chai. If I had been given a rare opportunity, I would love to go to Paris. But Montréal in Canada might be better since my dad had been there with his former loved ones. Seeing Grande Crêperie of today, I feel good talking to customers and staff alike.

Yelp
Had my eye on this place before they even opened! This place comes from the same owners of La Marais Bakery so I definitely had some high expectations! First off--the decor of the place is really cute. Love the color scheme and the tiles. The space is kind of small. There is 3 tables indoors but the majority of seating is outdoors. Went here on a Saturday morning which I'm assuming is probably their busiest day as the farmers market is also happening at the same time. For savory crepes, they use buckwheat instead of the traditional crepes but for sweet crepes, it's pretty much the same. For the food, I will say that it was good. Was it the best savory crepe I ever had? No. But it was enough to satisfy my crepe craving on this morning. Price was around $15-18. For SF and Ferry Building prices (tourist), that is what I was expecting. Service was not great. I think moving forward, they really need to figure out the flow in the kitchen and service. I was told when I ordered my crepes that it would be an 30 minute wait. It ended up being an hour. No food should take that long to come out unless it's something extremely fancy or intricate. I could see that they only had 3 stations in the back and they reserved 1 station for sweet crepes however as it was breakfast/lunch times not a lot of people got a sweet crepe. I think they should either somehow figure out a way to add more stations, take less orders/pace, or change up the menu to make sure it's items that can cook quickly. I will come back to try the sweet crepes as it didn't take them long to make (5 minutes) from what I could see. Probably will not order savory crepe.

Yelp
- Locale Destination - It's in a ferry building. Ambiance: casual, lots of seating for the size of store. You can see the crepe making action! Products: crepe, coffee, pastries - Gluttony Expedition - Cappuccino: it's burnt and bitter. We tossed them immediately. Very bad. - Conqueror's Deduction - We went for coffee, which was a terrible mistake. Cappuccino - both regular and decaf - were pretty bad in every way.

Yelp
A delightful spot in the Ferry Building. Great music playing and excellent service. Coffee hit the spot, savory buckwheat galettes were a real treat for breakfast. I wanted to try some of the beautiful pastries but I was too full. Next time!

Yelp
Great location with easy access. Friendly staff and helpful in finding seating for our group. I would have liked something on the menu that indicated the savory crepes were a buckwheat crepe, not the standard wheat crepe that is used with the dessert crepes. Or maybe even given a choice for which type I'd prefer. The salmon and the turkey were good, but all of us just ate the innards as we were not fond of the buckwheat crepes. Also, I didn't think to ask how the egg was cooked in the La Complete nor had I perused the website, otherwise I would have known to ask for it hard (I personally don't like runny or soft yolk). The dessert crepe (Nutella) was better in terms of the crepe, but I found it overly sweet from the Nutella (a shocker for those that know me)! Overall, I'd try it again and was happy with the service and seating.

Yelp
The crepes here are so good; I recommend the Cabecou et miel and the nutella crepes! The salty ones come with a salad as pictured below. Since it's in the Ferry building, it gets busy on the weekends due to the farmer's market but the service is great and the wait is worth it if you're craving some crepes. The croissants are decent too, I like the almond croissant but would definitely recommend the crepes over the croissant. The seating space inside is a bit limited, so you'll likely need to sit in the outside seating area which isn't a bad thing since the view is great, especially on a sunny day. If you're not too hungry or want to try different crepes, I recommend sharing them! I also love getting a coffee at Blue Bay and then heading here for the perfect breakfast or brunch (iced charcoal latte + some crepes)!

Yelp
When we were in SF, we were on the search for an easy breakfast. In the ferry building, we found this little spot. The service was quick. They have a few seats in the area or you can always find a seat outside in the open area. We split the morning bun, a crepe with pear and chocolate, and a crepe with Nutella. All items were good. As far as crepes go, I wish we had done a sweet and a savory to get more variety. The crepes were very similar in flavor. We really enjoyed the one with pears. It had more depth.

Yelp
Thought it would be a great place because it was packed but it was probably full of other easily duped tourists. The lattes and hot cocoas were low quality. First time I receive an unsweetened latte. The pastries were the worst I have ever tried with a hair in one. They do not heat pastries. The server came and was wiping the table while we were still sitting. The prices were extremely high and the tip screen starts at 18%. Sacramento pastry shops are a hundred times better.

Yelp
I don't expect that it would last in Paris. Well, come to think, I did once have bad crepes in Paris ... jet lagged when I hit up the spot closest to my hotel, but every other time, I found excellent crepes (at least speaking as an American who travels there on business). So, maybe it won't last in Brittany is a better comparison. SF is lacking in good crepe destinations -- Galette 88 may have been the last decent option (or Crêpe La Vie on Haight). There are a couple of catering services that are acceptable. And can venture to the East Bay if you like. I had medium high hopes as Grande Creperie (it's actually small) was claiming to be authentic and owned by the French owners of Le Marais Bakery. Order at the counter and the woman at the cashier was friendly and helpful. She allowed me to upgrade my included side salad for a small charge. Prices are a bit high, but it is the ferry building. I found the crepe itself to be a bit doughy; I think they are better a little thinner and more crisp. I was told the batter is 100% buckwheat (many people I know mix in some wheat flour, but maybe the real deal is all buckwheat?). The ingredients of my complète were also not very flavorful; maybe the skimped. And the accompanying salad contained some leaves that were a bit past their prime. Unfortunate.

Yelp
Summary: Decent, but not particularly memorable crepes Details: * The crepes we had were decent eats if you're craving crepes in the area, but not amongst the best I've had * La Complete was very cheese forward, while the Tatine Aux Pommes were very apple-y without being too sweet * Being owned by the Le Marais folks, this location also carries some of their pastries * Expect lines and a bit of a wait for your food Accessibility: There's seating both inside the shop and immediately outside, all of which are accessible, though indoor seating can be a bit more cramped.

Yelp
Adorable little spot in the Ferry Building! We'd been wanting to try it out because it's so hard to find crepes like this! Definitely reminded us of the ones we got in France. We ended up getting the Jambon Compte and the Chèvre crepes. They were very good, very light. Would love just a bit more filling, but overall they were very tasty! My favorite was the goat cheese with spinach and hazelnuts, can't go wrong with that combo! Staff was really nice and the space is very cute. It can get crowded and there isn't a lot of seating so just know you might have to order and wait for a table to open. Because it was so busy it took a little while to get our food, so I would definitely order a pastry (they looked delicious) to hold us over next time!

Yelp
Came on a busy Saturday with the market in full swing. Service was fast, staff seemed friendly given that they were rushed. Coffee was solid, prices were what I'd expect for the location. Good for people watching and taking a break from shopping. I will be back, but I need to be honest, SF has better crepe places, these were ok. We tried the apple caramel and ham and cheese, the apple was ok, the ham was bland.
