This place was empty from 9:30am to closing at 3pm. Good coffee but no refills on drip. Good WiFi, decent outlet access. The 90s playlist was fire 🔥 Overall a good place to work during the day.

Arrived extra early for a doctors appointment nearby yesterday morning. Ended up ordering the breakfast wrap and it was extremely good—much better than the bodega fare I usu get. The eggs were fluffy and it had some delicious chorizo in it. The two gents behind the counter were very pleasant and and engaging. I read up on the walls about its being the result of some funding grants and about the training programs. It all sounded like a noble endeavor for a neighborhood whose inhabitants could use it, plus good food, clean place with plenty of room inside. I’ll be back in future.

spacious, affordable, and quiet coffee shop with great iced coffee - only $2.74. they have an assortment of healthy lunch options and baked goods - the only thing they’re missing is gluten-free/vegan baked goods. this cafe is pretty spacious, with comfortable ample seating options (including couches). a great place to come and get some work done. friendly employees and typical acoustic coffee shop tunes playing. the iced coffee is great, not too bitter and super cheap compared to nearby cafes. they don’t have matcha, and non-dairy milk costs .75 extra.

Today I finally made it here, always forget about this place as it’s not in an obvious location. I was walking towards Grand St (it’s just off Clinton between Delancey & Grand, a half block east on Broome), saw it and went in for some coffee. Glad that I did, nice place! Clean, bright, large and they have egg sandwiches. I got a coffee (of course) and an egg, cheese and avocado sammy which came on a ciabatta and was a good size. Could be b’fast and lunch depending on how hungry you are. It’s cashless, something to keep in mind. Oh, also saw a sign that they’re extending their hours May 1st looks like will be 8a-6p wkdays and 9a-1p wkends.

Fresh and delicious sandwiches and great iced coffee. I also love the fact that it's run by Grand Street Settlement and the cafe provides job training and placement for young people. Clean and beautiful new space. All profits go to support youth training. I will definitely go back

The staff are super friendly. I love the concept and will continue to support the cafe. Although sometime the trainees didn’t get the order right but they try really hard and polite. In general a feel good environment. Come support this social enterprise.

Great coffee and friendly staff. It’s a big space with a wide variety of seating options. The big couch in the back is great for kids to climb on and not disturb those on laptops at the front.

Coffee was delicious. But even better was the avocado, egg, and cheese sandwich. The ciabatta bread was perfect, crunchy crust and chewy interior. The sandwich was DOPE! I would have taken a picture of the sandwich, but we ate them way too fast.
