OMG! The best! I got their banana split! Yummy! Can’t wait to come back and have more of their amazing ice cream.

Google
Quaint shop with lots of candies to choose from! There's not a big variety of ice cream flavors, but they had Butterfinger and Oreo that my husband and I had made into milkshakes! They were nice and thick but a bit pricey at $6.50/each. (On the board they were listed under the $6 section. 🤷🏼‍♀️)

Marc Albert

Google
We just couldn't resist trying their maple fudge. To our delight it was very good. I would go back and try other things. They have sponge candy too, which you don't see very often in these parts. The fudge came out to about $20 a pound.

Google
Such a cute little shop filled with goodies and delicious ice cream! My wife and I got a couple cups of ice cream and sat outside at a little table watching the rain and the world going by. They have some unique candies you can't get in many other places. Stop by and check it out!!

It's a good thing this place is not closer or I'd be an ever fatter back person. Anytime work brings me near Boulder I make sure to stop by for some apples. I've dealt with several different employees throughout the years and never had a bad experience. I love the ice cream as well. I try to buy something different most times but overall I'm there for the caramel apples. Last time I was there, they were out!!! That's okay though, the ice cream made up for it.

Great for Vegas locals to escape the city and for those traveling to Hoover Dam to get a taste of an old, small town! We wanted some ice cream and an short escape from the hustle and bustle of Vegas. We put in ice cream and the typical chain spots popped up. But so did Grandma Daisy’s. We decided to drive the 30 minutes to Boulder City. Boulder City has a nice small town vibe in the center. There are antique stores, pubs, pizza and ice cream! We walked in and it has the old candy store/ice cream parlor vibe. They have hand scooped ice cream, old school candies, fudge, Candie apples, etc. We only got the ice cream. They had about 10 flavors to choose from. You can get it in a cup, standard cone or waffle cone. The price was amazing. We are a family of 5 and got 4 Double scoops and 1 single scoop. Our total was just over $20. Not many places you can get a treat for a family for $20. The ice cream was fresh and flavorful. Seating in the store is small but they have outdoor seats as well. The girls at the register were nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Google
Delightful sweets, and lovely vibe. I couldn't be happier with my peanut butter chocolate ice cream. Was please to see actual peanut butter inside, rather than just a flavored ice cream. The selection of candies are amazing. Pleanty of candies that I thought were left in my childhood were available here. Great place, and very pleased with my visit.

Google
Super cute classic small town candy store vibe! They were out of a lot of options but still had some delicious options to choose from! Caramel apple was my fav! Great stop before or after the Hoover Dam.

Jules P.

Yelp
I love going to this store! They have tons of vintage candy, ice cream and fudge. This past time we got Reed's root beer & cinnamon hard candies, maple & chocolate fudge, and a handful of other candies too. This is always a stop for me whenever I'm in Boulder City!

Yelp
After an early dinner and some strolling around my daughter wanted a little sweet treat. We came upon Grandma Daisy's, an adorable little old school treat shop. My daughter opted for a scoop of Superman ice cream, but I love the candy counter and all the amazing treats they have available including caramel apples and old school candies. Def coming back to bring our older daughter so she can experience this tasty goodness.

Franklin M.

Yelp
I was looking through the window and my partner asked if they had any caramel apples, I said I am looking at them right now. That's what brought us in was those assortment of caramel apples on several trays. The employee offered to cut it for us and pack it in a container. It turned out to be crispy and delicious.

D M.

Yelp
Gross. Just found a long hair strand in my ice cream. Employees did not wear hair nets.

Lore B.

Yelp
I wanna come back here for more caramel apples. You can tell how different the caramel is compared to store bought ones. They were so yummy. You can also ask for them to cut it so it's easier to eat than off the stick. Their ice cream is good too. I love how they have a little gift shop in there too. Lots of parking there and the workers are really nice. Such a cute little town.

Jay R.

Yelp
Cute little vintage store with a decent selection of old fashioned and retro candy. They've also got ice cream, caramel apples, and other house made treats. Going in is always a fun little adventure, getting to explore their variety of candies and other treats. Service was always friendly throughout my experience at this location and their old one. I've had their smoothies, which I found decent, like a 7/10. Prices are moderate-somewhat expensive for some other items, so it's a treat whenever I was in town. I think adding more variety would help and maybe more unique or retro candy selections since it's a bit limited for the size. It feels somewhat barren considering it's a candy-sweets oriented store (although my last visit was a while ago, things probably changed). But it's so worth a visit if you're in town.

Brandi V.

Yelp
Ordered shaved ice to share with my kids. The place was cute, but dirty. I was excited at first. The cashier asked if we wanted a second spoon to eat our shaved ice and she just threw it on the dirty counter. Obviously didn't use that. Customer service would do that place some good. It was our first time there and ended up being such a bummer.

Luke K.

Yelp
My 1ST Time Here Was Perfect, The Flavor Of Ice Cream I Got (Superman Flavored) Was So Yummy I Enjoyed It So Much And The Service Was Excellent.

Jessica W.

Yelp
such a cute place with fantastic prices. from the moment you walk in, staff is friendly and patient with you. Huge selection of candy, ice cream, candy apples, fudge and etc!

Kate P.

Yelp
This place is such a bummer. I'm all about a good ole' fashioned candy store, but this place is so depressing. I walked in looking for fudge but I didn't see any anywhere. The candy that was in the display was sorely lacking with only a few options to choose from and the store itself is very sparse. You really have a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of not only the tourists coming by but also the locals, please take it. Clean the place up, make some fresh homemade candy and treats, update your ice cream freezer, hire welcoming staff... Did I mention CLEAN the place up?

Lydia T.

Yelp
Nostalgic candy shop with lots of delicious handmade treats like chocolate covered Oreos, chocolate covered strawberries, candy apples! Service was friendly and very helpful! It's a fun place to visit and support a small local Boulder City Establishment!

Michelle M.

Yelp
What happened to this place? Went yesterday and the sewer smell was awful. Chocolate case was so dirty it was disgusting. The two girls there were in no rush to help anyone. How's this place still open?

Victoria R.

Yelp
This adorable little shop was so good that we came here twice in three days. Boulder City is so close to Vegas, and the historic downtown area that houses Grandma Daisy's is walkable and worth the trip. The shakes, candies and ice creams are great and there are lots of yummy items to gift. The staff is all very sweet, as well. Sit outside and enjoy the fresh air while you enjoy your treats.

Ally M.

Yelp
One star for the concept, we love driving down to Boulder for a change of scenery, grabbing lunch, and checking out local spots. I love an old fashion themed ice cream and candy shop. Grandma Daisy's is completely filthy. I'm not sure I've been to an establishment ever in my life that was so disgusting. The floors, the tables, everything... the table we sat on had not been wiped down in what seemed like a week or more, it was crusty, sticky, disgusting. The mop bucket with dirty water was leaning against the food display. The food display that had pastries was left open the entire time and probably always is and the mop bucket was leaning against it. I had to advise my mother to not purchase anything out of it. The ice cream display container was also left open. The front register girls were chatting it up the entire time. They need to be fired and replaced with workers who know how to clean. I'm surprised this isn't like reported to health district to be honest. Maybe use the mop and clean the floors. I think that mop water has been sitting there for days considering the floors looked black and disgusting. I felt so dirty we couldn't sit inside any longer and the girls chatting with questionable visitors was distasteful.

Ashley P.

Yelp
Grandma Daisy's had a ton of retro candy which was very cool. The staff was super friendly and the places was very clean. That being said I wish there were more fudge options and other treats. I just saw a lot of bark or turtles. If I'm in the area I would return for more retro or fun candy like the giant smarties.

Joelyn W.

Yelp
Ice cream was creamy and flavorful. The cones tasted great and the service was amazing. Got a double scoop of ice cream with a single scoop cone for $10. What a steal.

Andrea D.

Yelp
So sorry to say that this business went downhill so quickly. Entire store is fithy dirty, garage (inside) always overflowing. Cute outside tables are dirty, unkempt and in need of repair. Sidewalk never seems swept. And the FLY infestation is unbearable! Other eating establishments on the same street don't have a flying insect problem like this. Not a good look for tourists and locals. Step up your game!

Melyna S.

Yelp
Cute place with all kinds of candy - especially some "old school" candies. We just needed a little something sweet and went for some vanilla ice cream, but it was actually really good ice cream and hit the sweet tooth we wanted! The girl inside was shy, but not rude.

Lianne K.

Yelp
Small town candy and ice cream shop is quintessentially perfect. Two young ladies were running the place, offering free taste samples and taking care of guests. There was lots to see inside the colorful interior, and plentiful seating outside along the sidewalk. Dear Hubby, our nephew, and I selected our ice cream treats, then went out to sit and people watch. With it being a warm day, I defaulted to my long time summer favorite - mint chip. Mmm. Creamy goodness which likely had a high butterfat content. It was delicious! A fortune telling machine of the old school variety was situated outside their front door, which would randomly start talking. That took a bit of getting used to, but only added to the charm of enjoying great ice cream from an independent small business in a fascinating town. Do stop in!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and they were out of waffle cones and chocolate ice cream. Seemed to have an issue with their freezer as I heard her tell a customer the ice cream was too soft to put in a cone. My husband had a 2-scout Superman (that he said was "real Superman" and I had the banana split. Since they didn't have chocolate the server asked me what three flavors I wanted. I tried cookies and crème, strawberry, and mocha. Didn't care so much for the mocha, but the rest were good.

Yelp
We Love Ice Cream. We Love Blue Bunny Ice Cream. This is a cute little place with candy and ice cream. That's all and that's really all you need! But.....if I order a Hot Fudge Sundae, I want it to include a healthy amount of hot fudge. My mint chocolate chip ice cream was great, the whipped cream was generous, the maraschino cherry was the perfect topping. But, I've never seen hot fudge like this: first, she took a spoonful of the hot fudge and smeared it all over inside the cup.... I thought, "that a great idea", then she filled in the ice cream and toppings. But the hot fudge was more like chocolate shell topping....it hardened inside the cup and Would Not Come Out. The little that did scrape out was hard and tough to chew. Too bad, because We Love Ice Cream......

Kim E.

Yelp
They were out of my favorite icecream Moosetracks, they were out of Hot Fudge topping. Settled for chocolate milkshake. Paid almost $5.00 for a medium size milkshake that was the consistency of chocolate milk. That is no exaggeration. Go to Dairy Queen a mile down the road.

Yelp
I've always have an affinity for small candy/ice cream shops, there's always a sense of nostalgia for me since I've always loved sweets as a child growing up, and this place has those things with a bit of charm. The exterior of the shop grabbed my attention with a shop sign near a small pink cow statue. The outside facade of the shop was an eclectic mix of throwbacks, like the Zoltan machine or the little animal ride that used to be in front of grocery stores from back in the day. Walking inside I could see they had a little bit of everything. From nostalgic candies like, jawbreakers, Boston baked beans, candy cigarettes, bon bon, pop rocks, and assorted ice creams. They also make Italian sodas and other beverages. Sometimes one needs to stay in touch with the inner child and places like these can do that...with a little sweetness. :)

Terri E.

Yelp
This was a cool find in Downtown Boulder City. An old school ice cream shop with nostalgic candy. It made me so happy walking around inside and seeing all the candy I grew up with: Zotz, Lemonhead, Now & Later, Pop Rocks, Pez, Sugar Babies. The decor is totally adorable and it takes you back in time, in a good way of course. Got the Root Beer Float while the rest of the family indulged in ice cream cones. I don't usually get this but for some reason, it was perfect for this spot. My kids were ecstatic to try some too, they even pushed their ice cream cones aside to dive into my root beer float. There is plenty of seating inside and out. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching. If you're ever in this area, do yourself a favor and check out this super cute ice cream shoppe!

Mina R.

Yelp
Came across this cute lil place walking through town. Reminds me of an old mom n pop soda shop. They sell all the goodies from candy and fudge to ice cream and malts. They also had some caramel apples ready to devour. I kept it simple with 2 scoops of ice cream for myself and my friend had a chocolate malt. I even paid it forward to a young teenage girl who seemed to be the last of her friends to have ordered something. I'm sure we all enjoyed our sweet treats. It's hard to mess those up. Lol Stop by Grandma Daisy's and treat yourself. Treat someone else. Or both. Just remember to BE KIND

Devon M.

Yelp
RED VELVRT MILKSHAKE WAS AMAZING!! As was the praline ice cream. Really cute mom and pop ice cream shop.

Jessika S.

Yelp
We messaged them via their facebook page to inquire about them having "Superman Ice Cream". As Michiganders in Vegas we were super excited to hear they are one of the only shops in Vegas to have this Michigan favorite. We had a nice exchange online, even talking about other Detroit favs like the Boston Cooler. We specifically asked if they had it currently and they responded "Yes, we have it!". So the following week we made a special trip to Boulder City, and they did not have it! ...Bait & Switch???? The salesperson said they did not have it currently but would have it again after they finished some other flavors in the display case were used up...but could not give us a specific day eventhough we told her we have to make a special trip for this. Our fault for not calling ahead, but we got the impression it was a regular menu item. The salesgirl even said it was...but they just did not have it back yet. Wish the facebook manager would have told us that and to call in to make sure. ...we will give them another chance. Disappointed Michigander

Jadira G.

Yelp
Just some dense bitchy ass little girls working there. They charged me for a double scoop, and 2 single scoops just because I put the two scoops in separate cups. So they're charging me $2.50 for a fucking cup. No fucking logic. You have to sugar coat and paint a pretty little picture for them. $3.25 single scoop $4.00 double scoop Ice-cream isn't even good. Bland ass shit.

Ginger B.

Yelp
Great Ice Cream! If I could give any feedback I'd say the manager/owners need to have more than one employee working this place on a Saturday night. The young lady working was amazing and super friendly but she was working all alone and the place was packed. One it's not safe (the mom in me, sorry) and two I can only imagine how overwhelmed she was.

Martin F.

Yelp
I have been to this place many times over the years and it's generally been pretty decent. Quaint decorations, turn-of-the-century ambience are the hallmarks of this parlor. But lately the younger staff that has been working there is not friendly AT ALL and is not providing any kind of quality control. $1 for sprinkles and a cherry and we had to ask for more when we received barely a teaspoon. Also the ice cream was old the flavors were generic. Why would you spend $4 for a small scoop of this when you can go to ANY Mexican icee cream shop and get something made in-house daily? This business needs to make some adjustments otherwise the free market will have their way with them. There's available retail spaces in Boulder City, ripe for competition.

Clint B.

Yelp
Grandma Daisy's has plenty of old school charm to go with a wide variety of sweet treats, some made in house while many others are created by outside vendors. You'll find ice cream, truffles, candy, fudge, popcorn, novelty gifts, and more. The truffles, made by Sweet Shop USA, would have been better with a softer and creamier interior. The red velvet cake truffle was the best of the ones I tried with it's dense and rich chocolate center, while the confetti truffle looked better than it tasted and the key lime chiffon was missing any noticeable amount of lime flavor and was dominated by the taste of white chocolate. 2.5 Stars

Joanna G.

Yelp
Ice cream was good, service was bad these little girls need to be friendlier....they don't seems like they want to be there.

Jacque G.

Yelp
Such a cute little shop and a dose of nostalgia! We werent immediately impressed with the initial customer service by the two young girls that worked there who did not even offer greetings as we entered. We reviewed they menu and my daughter began with her ice cream order. The girl serving the ice cream seemed annoyed and just bothered. The ice cream and shake was good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere as we sat inside and enjoyed. They offer a variety of other sweets and fudge for purchase as well. I was interested in the fudge and the pricing as we were sitting there, but I did not bother asking based on the annoyance exhibited when we entered.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Cute old school vibe here that takes you back in time. A must try if you're in Boulder City! Tried the fudge -- really good. Chocolate covered bacon -- not bad, a bit salty for my taste. They serve ice cream as well. Stop in if you're in Boulder City! 2018 Yelp Review #23

Izabelle C.

Yelp
So good my girlies Helena and Marissa are so nice and hooked it up with the single scoop butter pecan, they're so sweet!! 10/10 tell grandma daisy she's doing work!!

Renee F.

Yelp
I loved going in there. It was like a blast from the past. I got Superman ice cream. I haven't had that since I moved from Michigan twenty years ago. They have a great selection of retro candy as well as fancy caramel apples and chocolates. The staff isn't particularly friendly or helpful but I'll come back anyway.

Meaghan F.

Yelp
Great little shop in the heart of Boulder City. Many nostalgic sweets, drinks, nuts, fudge, and more. It's a great spot and try anything. I love their caramel cups, chocolate covered marshmallow...

Abigail A.

Yelp
If you ever find yourself in the heat of summer here in Vegas, Grandma Daisy's is the place to go. This place is aesthetically pleasing and the sweet treats are endless.

John J.

Yelp
My kids and I stopped in for cones after checking out several shops and antique places we'd never been to. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and she prepared our ginormous 2 scoop cones quite quickly. I was surprised how large the cones were since many places are stingy on the scoops. Not this place! My kids really enjoyed the ice cream and managed to finish off the cones in record time! There is no seating inside the shop but seating is ample right outside the door. I'd recommend this ice cream shop as the variety of offerings will appeal to everyone.

Momilani T.

Yelp
I got the chocolate covered s'more, it tasted soooo good! I also got coffee/mocha ice cream with moose tracks ice cream and that combination was awesome! The cashier was friendly and the owner was very helpful in my decision making! I love this place

Jenni M.

Yelp
Grandma Daisy's is a very cute place if you're in the area. Clean inside. It sits in a historic area of Boulder City. You can't miss its PINKness driving by its strip mall location on a hot afternoon. Street parking is free in the area. Nostalgia might sneak up on you as you glance at all the candies and other sweet items available. If I remember correctly, they use Blue Bunny ice cream. Sit inside where it's nice and air-conditioned cool or there are tables outside. The young lady who helped us was very nice. She offered to give my husband's service dog some water. Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of goodies this shop carries. We noticed it while waiting for a table next door at The Coffee Cup and decided to stop in. The shop carries nostalgic candy, bulk candy, ice cream, shakes, chocolates, and candied nuts. The chocolates included barks, truffles, and more. The ice cream is Blue Bunny. We opted for a Birthday Cake Truffle and some of the barks. The truffle was very good and larger than the average truffle. My husband liked the barks. We were most impressed with the price for the taste. Our truffle and three additional pieces from the case came out to around $5. Definitely a good value for chocolates.

Anthony S.

Yelp
Came here today for dessert! This place is such a classic spot! Feels like mom and pap vibes! I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream and it was delicious! The workers were very kind! I will definitely return!

Christopher A.

Yelp
Walked in at 530 wanting to order a banana split. After standing in front of the ice cream counter for 15 minutes with no service we got behind the six people waiting in line at the cashier. Being patient we waited another 15 minutes. The young lady working the cash register told us we would have to get ice cream at the ice cream counter. When she realized she was all alone she apologized and asked what we wanted. Banana split please. " Oh, I'm sorry we don't have any bananas... and I have to go.... Abbey is here now and can help you at the ice cream counter." Where the line there was now 8 people deep. We left. Previous reviews were spot on about the staff here.

Summer E.

Yelp
We love Grandma Daisy's! It gets very busy in here almost every time I'm here but they are quick and like to answer questions. They have sooo many options and although the prices are a bit more than I'd usually spend on sweets, we love the business and love to support them whenever we're in Boulder City. Their decorations are so adorable and we love sitting outside and people watching or coming inside for a while to get out of the rain, heat, or wind.

Sam W.

Yelp
To the 3 girls that worked on Mother's Day at 140pm. We left because they were so rude and unfriendly. We waited to be helped and they ignored us even when I asked. They were standing there no saying hello or a word to ANYONE that walked in. Just looked miserable like someone was forcing them to be there. Brought our baby in for their first try at ice cream and we left cause we were not spoiling a good day because of these girls who clearly just don't wanna be there.

Jonathan P.

Yelp
Had Fudge and CaramEl Turtles, but really wanted Brittle.... Love Brittle... None was to be had " Stated gonna make it again on TuesdaY. Great location on the strip, lots of foot traffic but have had better .....

Renee N.

Yelp
Mom and I decided to take a trip down memory lane on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. We drove out to our old house in Boulder City and decided to drive around and check out the quaint stores. We came across this cute little store as we were both craving ice cream. They had Blue Bell ice cream (salivating at the thought of that ice cream)! We each had a creamy chocolate cone and explored the store. All kinds of old school candy and various treats! A very busy establishment with day trippers galore! The service was friendly and helpful. There were a couple little tables to sit at but everyone was sitting or stand on outside enjoying the day! If you are out this way, do stop in for a treat or two!

Ja N.

Yelp
Highly recommend this little candy store! Place was a lucky find on Christmas Eve afternoon just before they closed up for the holiday. Now we'll have to find a way to get back to Boulder City more often just to stop here! Good chocolate covered pretzels are so impossible to find anymore because either the pretzel is old and stale or the chocolate has turned grey. Not the ones that I got at Grandma Daisy's---both the pretzels and the full coating of chocolate were fresh and full of flavor. Helpful girls working behind the counter. Boxed up the pretzels like they were little treasures! Very cute.
