Grandma's Kitchen

The owners moved to Walla Walla from Mexico City and are so sweet. Their food is delicious. We sat outside with our dogs who unfortunately had 3 seconds of misbehavior that resulted in our drinks falling on our food and our laps. The owners could not have been more kind and understanding. They quickly helped us clean up and replaced our food. They told us to laugh about it and be sure to come back. We will!

Freshly prepared with wholesome ingredients literally made by Abuelita, as pictured. Wonderful selections of not so typical choices. Large portions! Good value. The guacamole is creamy and delicious! The mild green tomatillo salsa is absolutely wonderful! Home made unique coarse ground tortilla chips. Just passing through, and I wish I could have tried More than one item.

My husband and I tried several different tacos. The mole alone makes this a 5-star meal. This is a mole most will only experience from Oaxaca, but it's available here in Walla Walla. The corn tortillas were also superb, authentic, and a great option for us given a wheat allergy and requirement of gluten-free tortillas. The genuine service couldn't have been better.

Food is decent, authentic and really like the guacamole platter. Had the tacos and were a bit messy, but tasted good with the salsa. It takes very long to get your food, so don’t expect a quick turnaround for a lunch.

We waited 1.5 hours for 6 tacos and another dish. We were offered chips and salsa after about 1.25 hours. The food sounded great in other reviews but unfortunately we did not enjoy it. Two people in our party ordered chicken mole tacos but did not eat them.

Seriously some of the best food and service I've ever had at a restaurant. The chile relleno was delicious and the mango pudding was amazing! Looking forward to trying out the rest of the dishes.

Despite that it took 40 minutes to get our order, because there was a birthday party that slowed the kitchen down, the food was so delicious! The service was perfect, we were offered free appetizer during waiting. It was the best Mexican food I've ever tried in my life. Yummy! And the white wine was so good. Highly recommend to try their food, you won't be disappointed.

Ok when I went we waited outside because they were not open when the sign said they were open. We almost left but then a guy pulls up and a little old lady got out. Literally was grandma's kitchen and she cooked the most delicious food. I honestly felt like I was in her home apart of her family for dinner. It truly was a great experience
