Grandma’s Secret , what an absolute gem! I ended up here purely by luck (or destiny) after a long day at Dr. Von D. Mizell–Eula Johnson State Park. After hours under the sun and in the sea, my girlfriend and I were starving and decided to give this place a try without knowing what to expect. I had never tried Uzbek cuisine before and WOW… this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Manti, the Lula, and a burrito-style dish that was honestly to die for. Every single bite tasted like love, care, and passion, you can feel that the food is made with heart. Our server made the experience even better. She gave perfect recommendations, was incredibly kind, and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. I’m already planning to come back. A true hidden treasure!

10/10 would recommend this place. The food was delicious and well prepared, came out pretty quickly. Everything is Halal. We ordered lamb chop samosa, fried lagman, chicken wings, and manti. Seating space is limited.

We went today for the first time and wasn’t disappointed! Ordered lamb kebab it was probably the best we tried, manty dumplings 😍 juicy with lamb chopped meat. Lagman had a delicious smoky flavor. Napoleon cake is fresh and tasty. Recommended 100%

After a hectic day of paddleboarding in severely windy conditions at West Lake, my friend and I desperately needed some refueling. We tried to go to Jackson's, because I had never been, but the line was out the door, so it looks like I'll have to keep waiting... I pulled out my phone and found an Uzbeki restaurant close by. Since I had never had that kind of food before and had no idea what to expect, I decided to go check it out. Grandma's Secret seemed to be just that... There were a couple customers but the place wasn't full. At the time, they had only been open for a few months, but I expect by now, the word has spread about this slice of unique cuisine and hospitality. There was seating inside and out, but we had our quota of sun for the day, so we sat indoors. The place was decorated in traditional Uzbek style, with fired ceramics and different ornaments, giving a very homey vibe. The brothers arguing and joking in the kitchen also provided a family atmosphere, reminding me of large family gatherings where food and festivity were the order of the day. We ordered the cheburek, a deliciously seasoned meat and cheese stuffing in a fried, crispy pie shell. To call this an empanada would dishonor the flavors and textures of this offering... We also ordered the steamed dumplings and samosas. These were also very well seasoned with hints of fennel and herbs throughout. And finally, we had the Tashkent pilav, which was a savory mix of rice, lamb, and vegetables, which was also amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the there was a relatively short wait time for the food to come out, considering everything that we ordered. We were able to speak with the manager and learn a little more about the restaurant and the history of the food. That only whet my appetite to return and try more things on the menu. As a first choice or a backup plan, you'll be happy you chose to visit Grandma and learn some of her culinary secrets.

What an amazing find! Uzbek food is amazing, especially if you are a meat lover, kabobs are fantastic. Nothing beats traditional home cooked kitchen. Whenever we visit Miami, we will always will try to come back in the future. Highly recommend authentic and genuine food and staff.

Finally made it in to try grandmas secret and it did not disappoint! All the food was perfectly seasoned and the meat was tender. I washed my soup and samosa down with a tea that was also delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try more menu options.

So I like Kababs. Iranian, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indian. This place has Kababs, but not comparable to any of the above. Probably my taste buds not appreciative of this cuisine. Also quite a bit stuff like shwarma not available. Service was meh, seemed very distracted. Though the one thing that was strange, no water. You have to buy bottled water for $1.50/-. Others might have liked this place, not me. Would not visit again.

The reason I leave Google reviews is so I can remember the fabulous places I’ve been to. This is one of those places! This is absolutely top-notch. You felt like you were literally walking into grandma‘s kitchen. We sat outside and struck up a conversation with our neighbors. If you know you know. That’s how to describe this restaurant. We had the dumpling soup which was out of this world, it was filled with beef and it had a lamb broth. We had the chicken soup which they definitely cooked the whole chicken bones and all and then just gave you pieces of the chicken and pieces of vegetables. Absolutely mind bending good. Then we had the dumplings which were out of this world! We had the fruit drink, which actually had pieces of fruit in it. We had the lamb skewers which were good and oh my gosh, the french fries were so crispy and perfectly cooked. We ended with the baklava, which was absolutely out of the world, some of the best I’ve ever had. Oh and we also got a Shawarma type deal which had an amazing dipping sauce. The service was over the top and we cannot wait to come back. Definitely put this one on your list. I think that if you ordered anything on the menu it’s gonna be incredible. Full Review: I wasn’t expecting to find one of the best meals in South Florida tucked into a small spot in Dania Beach but here we are. Uzbeki cuisine done right. Every single note hit. The place is called Grandma’s Secret and trust me it is not a secret anymore. I went with my foodie friends who own Nour Thai Kitchen in Oakland Park and these guys are hard to impress. We ordered almost everything they still had and that right there should tell you something. They sell out so come early. You can feel that most of the food is made from scratch. You taste it immediately. The kind of food that slows the table down because everyone is quietly locked in. The dumplings were delicate and rich. The dumpling soup was comforting in a way that makes you lean back and smile. Then came the chicken soup and wow. You could literally feel the umami from them cooking a whole chicken and building that broth with intention. Deep clean flavor. Then this fruit juice came out and it honestly felt like drinking the most natural version of Kool Aid I have ever had. Bright. Fresh. Addicting. Mint tea with real fresh mint followed and somehow it just kept getting better. Lamb kabobs. Shawarma. Fresh bread coming out warm. Every bite felt personal. The space is small about fifteen seats inside and maybe twenty on the patio but that is part of the magic. You sit down strangers and within minutes you are talking like family. We were chatting with the people across from us and the service made it feel like we had been coming here for years. We finished with baklava and Edric said it was the best he has ever had. Somewhere between Ft Lauderdale and Hollywood, this gem awaits you. I wasn't too excited about visiting an Uzbek restaurant, mostly because I was tired and not thinking straight. Thank me now for editing out 100 words about Central Asia. All good stuff, but boring. This spot is excellent. When I taste the beef and onion pastry called samsa and the lagman or the pilaf, I seriously see myself in Uzbekistan. Just kickin' it in a small town digging the scenery. Everything in here is so delicious, you can trip! The lamb kebab was tender, flavourful and worthy of eating slowly and savoring every bite. The manty dumplings, too. I wish I remembered the server's name. She was cute, full of energy and extremely helpful. I see us returning to see her, alone. It doesn't really matter that I don't remember much about the atmosphere. My head wasn't there very long. 12/25

Ambience: After a long walk in Dania beach, my group decided to have lunch at this restaurant. It is a small Uzbek restaurant with few tables inside and outside. Good ambiance! Food: 1. Tashkent Pilav The rice was perfect and the Beef & Lamb was tender and flavorful. 2. Chicken Wings Kebab This is a dish not to be missed here. Don't imagine regular chicken wings. Absolutely recommend. 3. Lula, the lamb and beef skewers. The person who ordered it enjoyed it and said it was perfectly done. 4. Veggie Kebab For vegetarians, this is a good option. The fresh vegetables were grilled to perfection and were full of flavor. . Additionally, we ordered Crispy Eggplant Salad, Chicken Shawarma, Uzbek Bread, Dumpling Soup and Tashkent Tea. Service: Very good and excellent service. Overall, this small restaurant hit the right notes at multiple levels. You will not be disappointed.

I would definitely return to Grandma's Secret for the food. It was well made and very tasty. We ordered the mushrooms and potatoes just because another appetizer they had on the menu was not available, but they ended up being a stand out and everyone at the table ate them. The chicken sandwich was also very good. Service was fast and they brought the food right away. The rest of the experience was not great, though. We arrived half an hour before closing time and the woman taking our order was pretty snippy about it. We said we would order and eat quickly, though, so she took our order. She also didn't bring or offer us water, even though we were eating at the restaurant. We had to ask, and then she brought out two water bottles for 4 people, with no cups. The bathroom was also a bit weird because it was around a back door behind the restaurant that led into the back hallway behind the kitchen. It was a little like going to the bathroom at a gas station. Overall, food was good, everything else not so much.

We are so happy we found this cozy and sweet restaurant. The Uzbek palaw is called "plov". We had the ayran drink which is yogurt based with basil and fruit. It's a bit salty, but if you like that kind of thing you should try it. I loved the manti because I could tell it was made with fresh handmade dough. Fully halal menu. It's not a first time. We had such a great experience here! The food was incredibly fresh and full of authentic Uzbek flavor every dish was so tasty and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance made it feel like a true traditional dining experience. The service was also excellent very friendly, attentive, and fast. You can tell they really care about their customers. If you're looking for delicious Uzbek traditional food with great service and a cozy vibe, this place is definitely worth visiting. I always come when Im in FL Highly recommend!

If you have any connection to Central Asia, stop at Grandma's Secret, a 14-seat Uzbek restaurant inside an old steak n' cheese dive. Uzbek hats and instrument decorate the walls. The menu includes Uzbek food, recipes from the owner's grandmother, and a few dishes from Turkey, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. There's plov (pilaf), langman, Uzbek bread, and more. To feed a family of three, we ordered the langman, beef shwarma, manti, Uzbek bread, and baklava (since the honey cake was gone). Everything was excellent, especially the langman and the beef shwarma. Our daughter loved the compote. Unlike the ones I grew up on in Tatarstan, this compote comes out cold and with no fruit at the bottom of the cup. Service was excellent!

What a cute restaurant! The food was delicious! Especially, the crispy eggplant dish was amazing! The tea with mint and lemon was so refreshing! It's a very small place, so parking was challenging. Also, I didn't find any restrooms or a place to wash hands. Maybe, they let us go into the kitchen if we ask?

The Manti!!! I salivate as I think about the delectable balls of savory, juicy beef in the just-the-right thickness wrappers. They were absolutely excellent. I also got the chicken soup and Greek salad, very good as well. The soup was very chicken-y, light on the seasonings. The salad was nice and fresh. I ordered takeout, so I don't have a sense of the ambience, but the food is worth a visit!

For what it is and where it's located, Grandma's Secret is a good place to grab a comforting, flavorful meal. It specializes in Uyghur cuisine and has matching decor and good music. Service was quick and the shop was rather small and cramped but clean. We ordered a salad, the beef pilaf, the lamb noodle soup, and a lamb kebab. Portions were unfortunately tiny, especially given the price, but everything was fresh and flavorful. The garlic and yogurt sauces were very good and paired well with the meats. The onions in our salad needed an ice bath and the lamb kebab was a bit tough. Truthfully I wouldn't come here if it were in my town but I needed hot soup and this restaurant delivered.

I consider this place to be a hole in the wall. My boyfriend and I are trying to find unique places to eat. This place serves Uzbek food. The employees were very friendly and engaging. We sat outside and loved the area. It's a very small place with limited seating but there are options. The food was very tasty. We especially loved the dolma appetizer! We enjoyed our experience and it's definitely worth a try!

The food is lamb and beef served in many names but all taste the same. The quality of the meat seems very low. I think they just add lots of lamb fat. The service is okay. Nothing special. The restaurant looks like it was from the 70s. McDonald's is nicer.

I went on a weekday for lunch. There was one customer dining when I arrived. There is parking behind the building. The staff is friendly. I ordered the pilav which is a rice dish with meats. It was flavorful. The lagman was tasty. It had an Asian taste to it. The Uzbeck bread was tasty, but I wish it was served with butter. My bill was $45 for the 3 items before tip. I was only charged $0.80 for bottled water. It's an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs cook. It was my first time trying Uzbeck food so I have no comparison.

Small, cozy spot with a homey vibe -- feels like you're eating in someone's kitchen. I had the lamb kebabs with fries, their house-made red tomato sauce, spicy chili sauce, tzatziki, and the Uzbek traditional bread. (Lepeshka) The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the Uzbeki bread was warm and fresh. Everything tasted good, and the sauces really made it. My only gripe is I wish they had more side options. Still, a cute little place worth checking out if you're in the area.

Food and service were exemplary. Everything was so vibrantly fresh and tasted genuinely inspired. The ambience was nice enough with some Uzbek art and craft works on display. The staff was warm,welcoming and attentive. This is a likely overlooked gem in Dania Beach, go! - You will not be disappointed.

Very good food. So far we like everything. My kids love their layman soup; seem like the noodles are made in house. Everything off the grill is great , I feel the Lula kebab is on the dry side. Definitely going back to try other. Nice cake.

It's awesome that there's a new ethnic of food spot in the area, with this Uzbeki restaurant. Overall not a bad place in the area for something different. It's very small, maybe holds 20 people max between indoor and outdoor seating. The food came out fairly quick, with 1 person taking care of all the customers. I ordered the spinach pie- came out warm, kind of traditional spinach and cheese filling, similar to what you'd get at a Mediterranean restaurant. I really enjoyed the yogurt dipping sauce with dill the most, and used it on the plov. I also got the Tashkent plov, a traditional uzbeki dish. I had never tried it before, so I can't speak to the authenticity but I thought it was a little bland. I was expecting more flavor and spices. The rice was cooked nicely, and the lamb was tender. There are soft carrots mixed in the rice. There was also a hard boiled quail egg on the side. It's a lot of rice and a decent portion of meat. Very filling for one person.

We got to check out this quaint new restaurant in Dania for the first time this evening and we really enjoyed. I must say, Grandma's Secret is actually the perfect name once you experience the food. The food tasted home cooked and fresh. I can highly recommend the lamb skewers and the bread! My husband ordered another order of the lamb. I also really love the unique (at least to me) garnishes they have. There was this onion salad with dill and pomegranate and that thing HIT so hard! I want to try to recreate it at home. Although the food was delicious, I will say the service is very slow. Even though the restaurant was not busy at all, we found it hard to get anyone's attention. They were in constant conversation and we never wanted to be rude so we waited. This area can afford to improve but I am wanting to go back for another experience

We are from Texas and know nothing about Uzbekistan food. Let me tell y'all. This is DELICIOUS!!!! The employees were very informative and kind. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly. I recommend the lamb pilaf and the mushroom with potatoes. Huge portions too! 10/10

Very unassuming Uzbeki restaurant, interior truly does feel like a grandmother's house in the most complimentary way. Bread was incredibly fresh and fluffy, lamb was delicious and plentiful, we ordered about 8 dishes total and loved each and every one.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. The food tastes okay. Ordered the beef kabobs to go, they were overcooked and dry. Just thought it was quite pricey for the quality and quantity.

We went there on a Wednesday night at 7:30, there is parking in the back of the restaurant. There was only one group at the restaurant but within 10 minutes a number of parties arrived for to-go and on site orders. Even though they have a small team, they were able to keep up with fast service. The menu is quite extensive and offers a lot of options. We had the Lagman and the Shurpa. Both options were flavorful. While prices are quite reasonable, portions aren't too big. So you may want to go with an appetizer to share and a main dish if you have a big appetite. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a small place but feels cozy. It's such a treat to have an Uzbek restaurant. We liked everything about it and would recommend it.

2 stars- Food quality, quantity and price We ordered: Tashkent Pilav - the platter is good for 2, if you're from SE Asia you'd find the food non-flavorful. The spice level is 2 out of 10. I enjoyed it since I was hungry ‍. Cumin lamb: this was salty and oily. Beef kebab: 8 pieces, we enjoyed it. Ayran: the yogurt drink is just like the Mediterranean yogurt drink. Manti: bigger than an average momo/dumplings but the meat inside was less. Quantity & price - the foods is pricy, you may get 2x more for the price we paid elsewhere. 2 stars to the business- Bravo for opening the first ever Uzbek restaurant, the place is small and can easily get packed. It looked like they're doing pretty good as I spoke to the owner he seemed confident. Hope you can inspire other authentic cuisines from different parts of world to open in SoFlo. We need more local businesses to adopt halal food .

This was my second visit to this wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant. We were travelling with family (grandparents, adult children and grandchildren) and came here for dinner. Everyone found food that they enjoyed (. The service ( by Valeria) was great. The food was served fresh and was plentiful and delicious. Wish there were a Chicago location.

We tried lepeshka, shurpa, lagman, samsa, chebureki, achichuk, plov, lamb shashlik, lulja, tea - everything was freshly done, hot, very tasty. I enjoyed authentic Uzbek food taste after 35 years break. Shurpa's bullion was prepared probably 12 hours or so, bones were coming out of meat, meat was exceptionally soft. Samsa reminded me Tashkent's Old City 1 ruble samsa. Plov was worth of 20 minutes wait for them to finish, laser rice was as it suppose to be, slightly al dente, each rice separate, mixture of yellow and red carrot was great, meat was very soft. Kudos to chefs, very nicely done! Service was good. Come to 170$ for 4 people evening. Highly recommend

Fresh made food. Good portion sizes. Overall, our meal was okay but the veggie skewers tasted bland, very little seasoning, while potatoes and mushroom dish was very salty. Probably wouldn't be eating here again but happy to support this local, small business!

Grandma's Secret, Uzbek cuisine. 50 E Dania Beach Blvd, open 4 months. Owned and operated by ethnic Uzbeks, super nice people. We ordered a few of the typical dishes: Tashkent Pilav (rice dish with braised meat, the national dish, with yellow carrots imported from NYC), Manti (large dumplings with chunky meat inside), a Samsa pastry with pumpkin (excellent), traditional yeast bread (excellent), Ayran (salty yogurt drink), Compote (dried fruit tea). The smell coming off the charcoal grill with meat and roasting chiles is intoxicating. The food has a heavy taste of cumin, although their rice dish is not as heavily spiced as you would find in Afghanistan or Iran. Lots of Russians and central asians hanging out here. It doesn't feel like you're in SoFL, so for the experience, I would say, by all means, go. I'm unsure if Rachel and I are a fan of the overall cuisine style (compared to say, Georgian or Afghan/Persian) although I think I might prefer the grilled kebabs over the braised meat that was in the pilav. But we'd still come back, with more people.

It's pretty rare to find genuinely authentic Uzbek cuisine; it's even rarer to find it so expertly prepared and cooked! Tucked away, behind an unassuming exterior, Grandma's Secret delivers a culinary experience that enables you to sample some of the finest foods Uzbekistan offers. The first, and most important dish, is the Plov (Tashkent Pilav here). Plov is common throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asia but it is Uzbekistan's national dish. I have tried many and cooked many more, I never pass up plov when it is on offer! Although you can frequently find plov in Slavic restaurants and shops, if you want the very best search out an Uzbek restaurant. Grandma's Secret delivers a mouth wateringly delicious plov that is on par with the best I have tried anywhere in the world. Perfectly slow cooked tender chunks of lamb that come apart at the touch of a fork adorn the surface of this delicious rice dish laced with julienned carrots and onion and garlic. This is all brought together with the perfect balance of cumin, coriander, garlic and fats to deliver that 100% authentic flavor. Getting all of these in the correct proportion is crucial to get the flavors to infuse and give you that 100% authentic experience. I could write a whole review just on the Plov alone! Consider it a must if you visit here. Next, the Lamb kebabs. WOW! Beyond exceptional. For some reason Lamb is very difficult to cook well; I can't even begin to count the number of lamb kebabs/shashlik from various Mediterranean or Middle Eastern restaurants that have left me disappointed at how dried out, or chewy, the meat is. Once again we must turn to Uzbek cuisine as they demonstrate their true mastery of all things lamb/mutton. Mouth wateringly tender, juicy morsels of meat, deliciously marinaded, lined up on the skewer waiting to be devoured. The beef kebabs are also worthy of mention, again very tender and delicious, but if the beef was an A+ then the lamb was an A+++. You can't really go wrong with either ultimately. Now let's talk about the Manti! These are a form of dumpling, similar in some ways to potstickers, pelmeni, vareniki etc Pretty much every country throughout Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia have some form of dumpling. There are a few subtle differences that make good Manti stand out however. First, unlike most other dumplings the meat for Manti is diced very finely, not ground. This makes a HUGE difference, they feel "meaty" and juicy at the same time, in fact they are often so juicy it can spill out. Once again they are infused with that classic cumin+corriander flavor to give it that authentic taste. They are also larger than most other dumplings so be careful; the outer shells are quite thin, which is a good sign of a quality Manti, but they can break letting the juices escape. Pick them up gently! :D Other mentions, the Bread dish at the start was beautifully fresh and fluffy and came out piping hot, another Uzbek specialty. The Samsa, a flaky, lightweight crust and bursting with flavorsome interior is worth a try. The only nitpick I had was around another favorite of mine, Cheburek, a common street food through Central Asia and Eastern Europe. It is a form of meat turnover, deep fried in a crispy outer shell. A great cheburek, similar to the manti, is normally so meaty and juicy that the juices can have a tendency to come pouring out it not careful. This results in a delicious snack that bursts with flavor. Sadly the cheburek here was very light on meat filling and very light on juices. On a positive note the crust was thinner and less doughy than others I have tried, I prefer the thinner crispier crusts, I just wish there was more meat in the middle! As for service? Well, it helps if you can speak Russian . I can only say a few choice phrases although I understand a lot more than I can say . Fortunately my wife is fluent. Overall not bad though, the staff are all polite and our food all came out in good time. It's a bit different (culturally) from what you might expect in a typical US restaurant but it's not bad. The waitress happily and patiently obliged to explain her favorites as well as what others seemed to order. Bravo to her in explaining it not just by ingredients but how it was to be prepared and what it maybe similar to in foods we would recognize. We started with cheburek, my apologies for the spelling. It was two deep friend turnovers (I wasn't sure if it was beef or lamb). Very similar to an empanada at any latin restaurant, except dough tastes home made and deep fried with a crispy shell and tender meat inside. Served with a side of a tomato-based almost like marinara sauce which complimented the meat and pastry shell. We both ordered separately but shared equally our meals to enjoy trying two different meals. My friend ordered the beef shaverma and side of home fries. Very similar to Turkish shawarma but compared to other ones we tried in the area, this was delicious, not dried out and filled with flavorful spices. Served in a wrap perfectly toasted and filled with various veggies and a white sauce inside. The home fries were crispy outside and soft inside. Almost like having a fried baked potato. I ordered the fried lagman, a homemade noodle with various sautéed vegetables and seasoned tender lamb meat. My friend and I tasted the paprika - almost like a dry sauce, with other spices which we couldn't make out, but combined made for an excellent choice as well. We both agreed this was something different and even better that it was in our neighborhood, small family owned restaurant. Definitely will be on our rotation when we don't want the same old, same old. The meal portions were large enough of for us to be so full (even with a small take-home package) that we didn't get around to ordering dessert this time. Hats off to this gem! Great job! Food - chose to give 5 as it is different from anything else around us. Service - small restaurant allowed individual non-rushed service and explanation of foods. Ambiance - loved the various cultural mementos. Only recommendation is provide tap water upon request to drink and have photos next to items on menu. -= we were hungry -= =- sorry not photographs =- What an exceptional treat for us both! Hats off to this gem! Great job!

Wow, freshly made, excellent taste, good service. Would go there again and again. Very reasonable prices.

This establishment is a decorative space and my wife and I enjoyed the food. We have their small bread which was made in a tandoor oven. We also had the beef samosa, which was super delicious and baked perfectly. The chekurat is a fried empanada with a beef blend and was also fried to perfection. The dumpling soup for me had too much dill, but my wife enjoyed it as she loves dill. The manti with pumpkin was also good, but needed just a bit more salt. The service was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our meals and had a wonderful time. We will try this place again because there is not another restaurant like it

Went for dinner. Short walk from hotel. Small deli like place. Two tables inside and four or five tables in a small seating area outside. I sat outside at one of the tables. Table was dusty and needed wiped off. Ordered lamb kebobs and lemon tea. Menu said the kebabs came with fries. I asked for rice instead. Plate came with kebabs, pickled onions and taters. Asked again for rice and server brought a small bowl of rice. Lamb was tasty. Didn't like the onions and the taters were too crispy fried for my liking. The rice was ok but nothing special. Looked again at the menu for dessert but $10 for cake or baklava? Wow. So no dessert on my birthday! All said I'd go back again.

We really enjoyed the food here. My husband had the noodles & I had the beef kabobs. Both were really good. He also ordered fried potatoes that were seasoned with garlic & were perfect. The portions were generous & the prices reasonable. To dine where such care is taken from the interior decor to the thoughtful preparation of the food & the caring service is such a treat! The owners represent their culture so well. We plan on making GS a date night staple.

I am checking out the new restaurant in Dania, Uzbekistan cuisine. It is also my first time having Uzbekistan food and it is good. I found it flavorful. It was different, good and I liked it. The restaurant is small. It is cute. It has an outside sitting area. The inside area is nice. The kitchen is kind of open so you can see them preparing the meals. I watched them make noodles. It was cool to watch them. I ordered the dry-fried noodle. This was one delicious dish. The noodles tasted great. I loved the sauce it came with. The meat inside was very tender. I really enjoyed it. I also ordered the bread. It was nice and warm and tasted fresh. I tried Ayran. It tasted to me like a salty yogurt drink. I had never had those two flavors together before. It was not for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place still has some things to work out, but is a new business. Like serving the drinks before the meal lol. It is a good eating place to check out

I wanted to go somewhere new and found this place with my mom. We went and she got the Lagman and I got the Pilav. She absolutely loved her soup and I was a big fan of the Pilav. I also ate half a serving of the lamb kebab before tapping out. The portions were very sizable. I loved the music inside the restaurant and the food came out incredibly quickly. I used to go to this location when I was little when it was a sandwich shop called Bleeps. I'm so happy to see the location filled with lovely people and staff making such great food. I will definitely be back.

The best part is this experience is the friendly staff. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never had food from Uzbekistan before. The pastry was the right temperature and consistency, however I couldn't really taste or find much pumpkin inside it. The soup was very hot - too hot to drink - too oily and the lamb was too little to taste. It lacked flavor as well. I wanted to like this place since I had such a warm welcome from 3 staff members. The bathroom and parking lot is in the rear. As always, good service will bring me back to try them again.

Was told about this by a few friends and finally had the chance to go. Amazing atmosphere and food was out of this world! Everything I tried was perfect and I can't wait to go back and try some more things on the menu! Grandma's secret is one of Dania's best kept secret's so make sure to check it out!

Glad I finally sat down at this place & had dinner. The food was amazing, so much flavor but not overwhelming. Best rice dish I've ever had, I could not explain how delicious it was but I am obsessed. Definitely my favorite dish I had. I tried the lamb chops as well, such tender & flavorful meat. Also had the pumpkin & meat dumplings. The pumpkin dumplings felt more like a desert, it was an interesting choice but with the white sauce it comes together so nicely. The meat dumplings were better in my opinion though. Enjoyed the salad, very refreshing light starter. I will be returning to try more stuff for sure. The waitress was kind & very informative on the dishes. Honestly the best authentic restaurant in this neighborhood. Looks like a mom & pop shop which is a plus for me.

The service was great, i came not too hungry but the cold soup was so refreshing and I LOVED the fruit juice they had, a compote. The restaurant is pretty small so come at a time when it's not too busy.

Stay away you won't get in. It only seats about 12 people inside and 6 -8 outside. Passed by about 8:30 on Sat night they were slammed inside and out! Been there COUPLE of times now, great Greek salad and also I would order the meat Manti AS An app (4 Hugh steamed dumplings). Also had THIS CHICKEN APP NOT SURE WHAt it was OREDERED BY FRIEND LARGE SHREDDED CHICKEN WITH White Radishes it was so huge IT should Have been Main course. The Lamb CHOPS and beef kabobs which is served with onions and Pomegranates are both off the charts and lets not forget the homemade bread!
