Standard diner fare - decent portions. The waitress was unreasonably upbeat. Don't be fooled by the promise of plump blueberries with the Zydeco French toast. The blueberries will be deflated. Despite the blueberries, which are just as delicious deflated as not (almost), I've gone here a bunch of times, and will go again, as the food is completely unsurprising, which is exactly what you want if you are going to a neighborhood diner for breakfast. It's an easy, uncomplicated, generic breakfast joint.

Suggest smaller order of French toast with eggs like ours. Blackened catfish could have been spicier.

The Grandview Grill still has the best pineapple upside pancakes I've had in my human life. Yes, it's bougie, but it's delicious, and they have a ton of seating. Yes, it closes dumb early, but if you're looking for a late hangover breakfast, it's a great option. Lots of booths, good service. The prices for entrees is generally about 9-12 bucks for breakfast food, which is pricey, but it's very good breakfast food. Good for groups, definitely. It's a bit of a stretch pricewise for the standard diner atmosphere, but the tastiness compensates for the money. Not a staple local diner, but if you're missing that experience, it can fill the hole in your heart (and stomach).

The blackened catfish sandwich is so good & the pineapple shake! It was a busy place with good food! It was amazing!

I have breakfast here occasionally and the service has almost always been excellent. My favorite dish is the blackened catfish breakfast, which is accompanied by hash browns and eggs. There are some "lighter" selections as well. The price is reasonable, given the quality and quantity of the meals. It is worth a visit if you are looking for good, no-frills diner food that's much better than Denny's.

Great hamburger and malt. Love their waffle fries. Neighborhood cafe, prices seem high but food is very good. Decor has a diner feel, classic retro with a current twist. Lots of booths for small groups. Center has tables galore.

Would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu, but it wasn't difficult to find something delicious that was meat-free. We were in a group of 6 plus a toddler and we all were very pleased with our meal, which is typical diner fare but tastier than average.
