Grand Central Market Commemorates Jonathan Gold With New Plaza and Silhouette Plaque | Eater LA

"A central civic park that hosted the large memorial gathering—hundreds attended a ceremony hosted by an arts and culture columnist that featured remarks from the critic’s family, food-world figures and chefs, a screening of unseen footage from a 2015 documentary, and surrounding streets filled with taco trucks including Kogi BBQ, Carnitas El Momo and Los Originales Tacos Arabes de Puebla." - Mona Holmes

This is a nice park to bring you kids ... But you will be sharing it with lots of teens in the afternoons so come early. Not an issue most times but can be a bit distracting. The washrooms are a very nice touch and much appreciated. The splash pad is awesome on hot days.

Nice park and never knew it existed. Took a walk around the park and area today. Nice fall colors and great place for kids to play with some very interesting play ground houses and futuristic playground equipment. Great view through the falls colors to the CN Tower. Very quiet and peaceful area.

2022 July 4.5★ Located right beside the art gallery you'll find this nice open space along side with an art piece, water feature (possibility for kids) and decent sized play area separated by age. The play structures haven't changed, since the last visit, a wooden climbing structure with a slide and swings under a bed of wood chips. Lots of people picnic or just sit and sub bathe on nice sunny days. Limited Paid Street parking nearby. 2018 5★ Nice place. Water feature. Good playgrounds. Open area is pretty big.

Beautiful park between AGO and OCAD. Brand new playground and little water area for the kids to run around and play. It’s a great place to exercise and there’s a large grass area for picnic. Near to Queen St. to many restaurants and attractions.

Had a wonderful time at this park! The atmosphere was great, and the children’s play area added a fantastic touch. It’s an ideal spot to unwind with family while the kids enjoy themselves. Plus, its proximity to Queen St makes grabbing a bite convenient. Also, being close to OCAD University adds to its appeal. Highly recommend for a family day out!

A great park for children. Younger children (5 and under) should definitely be supported by an adult through some of the bigger / more challenging features. Perfect for sunny days. Probably the biggest playground we have in our neighborhood.

Very great park. I went there about 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed the playground area. It was very nice. There were a lot of different play ground areas that featured climbing and lots of fun in total. There was also a small splash area. I had lots of fun there. The 2 pictures attached below, show 2 of the smaller areas of the play ground. Very great park, with lots fun.

2020.09.23. The park is an OK area to spend a walking break. They have a play area for kids, dogs, and an area for relaxing (sit on grass or benches). Starbucks is 5min away from the park. It is between Queen St and Dundas St. The park is located behind AGO, Art Gallery of Ontario.
