Meh. Ordered a medium sirloin steak. It was definitely well done and dried out. Mentioned to server and no offer to re make or discount on check. My son who is 8 ordered the steak so I don't know if we just don't give respect to the kid or what, but price is same weather you are 8 or 38. The meat quality might be hard to assess when it's so over cooked but it seemed lower quality. Walking by some of the food looked good or better, but overall I left disappointed.

Edited 7/25: A really off day. AC doesn’t seem to be working today. Short staffed on service, 3 servers for the restaurant. Daily specials didn’t ring correctly on the receipt, a very very long dining experience for what should have been a quick lunch. Still great quality food but need to work out the kinks in execution. ——end of edit—— 5 stars Have been several times and it never disappoints. Our teens like the Idaho nachos and cookie skillet dessert. We often take advantage of the Monday special, $8 chicken sandwich or burger. Always delicious and more than we can eat. Also - Coke products are served, great decision! Today our server was Travis while my son and I had an early dinner. He was friendly, prompt, and took great care of us. Happy hour is daily from 3-6, with a generous parking lot and designated to-go parking. We appreciate the rewards program and variety of local offerings - beer, wild rice soup, etc. Feels more like a local restaurant than a regional chain. We enjoy dining here and will be back again soon.

I came to the restaurant with my immediate family for the Sunday March 16th, 2025 for the Pre-St. Patrick's Day Brunch. I could have done without drama from my immediate family, haha. That said, for Brunch food I was very pleasantly-surprised; so much better than a traditional buffet. Rosalind T. took very good care of my family and I, please make sure you keep great servers like them!

Google
Granite City is comparable to Perkins in terms of atmosphere and menu offerings. The boneless wings were solid, probably the only reason I’d consider coming back. However, the overall condition of the restaurant could use some serious attention. The floors are greasy, making it feel like a slip hazard, and the bathrooms are overwhelmingly scented to the point of being unpleasant. The decor is outdated, with dusty artwork and cobwebs on the walls, which doesn’t give the best impression. They have a couple of TVs, but they only play sports, so don’t expect much variety there. If I return, it would be just for the boneless wings—and I’d likely sit at the bar to avoid the extra cost of tipping for table service. This place is overdue for an update.

Sadly the music coming from the cooks area was way overpowering the dining room area. My guys burger was way overdone and the the cheese wasn’t melted and was shredded cheese. My salad was good. French Onion was lacking onions. Server didn’t do a check in and when over half the food was left on our plates didn’t inquire. Took a few extra minutes to get the check. The place was not busy at all for dinner time.

Had the Sunday brunch - in the past it was great, today not so much. Food was mediocre at best. Shrimp cocktail - had poop sack in shrimp, server said this is how it’s served. Too labor intensive to remove it. Hair in scrambled eggs, prime rib - less than rare (see photo). We changed from Buffet to menu ordering for one of us. Burger not great - fries were only redeeming feature of meal.

Come here with my husband often. We really enjoy it every time! Family friendly atmosphere, and they brew their own beers. My husband's favorite is the Bison burger, and I love it all. Great place for casual date night or family night out.

Google
Gave it two try’s and both were not memorable. Chicken was over cooked and super dry. Rice was under cooked and asparagus had no seasoning. There was a ton of open seating but was sat next to two incredible large family groups instead of towards the edge where there wasn’t many tables sat. Would not go back.

Yelp
My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner here on 1/10/25. There was a long wait but Kiki at the front desk was handling it calm and professionally. Our waitress Isabella was delightful and made sure we had everything we needed. My daughter enjoyed her mocktail and I had a dark and stormy. My steak was perfect, and green beans were crisp My daughter loved the Cajun style pasta. We both loved the salad with so many crisp veggies and some pickled onion. The only minor issue was that they seated us at a huge table. It was very crowded though so like I said, minor issue. We had a pleasant evening and will be back next time we are in the cities.

Yelp
Had a much better time here than I anticipated. Excellent service and decent American food. Service (5/5). Amazing service despite only having one server for the entire restaurant. We came as a large group of 13 at 2:30pm. Typically a slow time of day so they had let most of their early shift employees go home early. But then the restaurant was half full by 3pm and this amazing waitress handled everything like a PRO! Amazing job! Ambiance (3/5) the decor was meh but comfortable. We noticed a film of dust on the display of Granite City jugs (growlers) behind us. Turkey Overlake Sandwich (4/5) Deliciously toasted. Bleu Peppercorn Burger (4/5) the crispy onion strings were awesome and the brioche bun was so good. Billionaire's Bacon Burger (5/5). SO much thick and crunchy bacon made me happy. Haha. Again, the toasted brioche bun was excellent. Raspberry Refresher Cocktail (5/5). This thing tasted like summer. Raspberry, lemon, minty, sweet and bubbly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Here for a family birthday brunch. The buffet was not bad, pretty standard brunch choices. Coffee was terrible and our server was nonexistent to get anything additional to drink. Pretty average, not great not terrible.

Yelp
The food on the buffet was so good. I liked everything and I ate so much and was so full! I've never went to a buffet where everything was so delicious. Our server was good as well and we had the bottomless mimosas for 14$ probably not a good idea won't do that again, we went here for Mother's Day brunch. We sat in a really big nice booth. It was very cold inside the restaurant and I needed to put a jacket on so just keep that in mind.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with some coworkers. This place is very easy to find right off of a busy street in Eagan. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Upon entering there is a hostess to sit sit you down. I was there with a group of six people so not too big. The waitress helping us seem to be artificially nice with a forced smile. Our group of six ordered their food and it took over 30 minutes for it to come out. Much of the food looked quite disappointing, especially the salads. I would not recommend any of their salads, one of my friends mentioned that the lettuce looked anemic. I decided to order something else because it did not look close to appetizing, and that was a bad choice. It took another 30 minutes to get another plate of food. It was an overall disappointing experience. I don't think I will be back here, ever or recommend.!

Yelp
Bottomless mimosas and a brunch buffet! Perfect spot on the weekend! Loved the cheesy hashbrowns and caramel roll.

Yelp
Food was great although crinkle fries appeared frozen and barely cooked. Millionaires burger...yum. French dip double yum. BUT!!! Service was lousy! Rude waiter. We finally had to ask him to check on our order (he was hanging at the bar). He went over to the kitchen and immediately came back with our food. Had apparently been sitting there. We had waited quite a while!! We asked for mustard, he went and got a bottle, walked by our table at a good clip & slammed it down!!! We did speak to the manager about Travis D's attitude. Did not however tell him we had to ask for our meal. We will return to eat but will not forget our waiters face.

Yelp
Sunday Lawless Brunch Buffet Review: WOW! Everything you could possibly want for a great Brunch Buffet experience with the pickiest eater. All for $24. Absolutely friggin AMAZING good time out! (The Servers can sometimes get jammed during peak times, but proved to be real pros under pressure) THANKS

Yelp
I went to Granite City while my family was in town. My dad wanted to watch a football game so it was the perfect spot to watch a game! Granite City has lots of TV's making it a great sports bar. They have a gluten free or gluten sensitive menu that I was able to pick from. A lot of their fried items are in a shared fryer so I was disappointed by that. I got the margarita flat bread and it was okay. I am glad I didn't get sick due to cross contamination but it wasn't the best gluten free crust. I tried their black cherry seltzer and was not a fan. I wasn't able to finish it unfortunately. There is a ton of parking outside so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. Our server was nice but the food was slower than I expected for us being some of the only people in the restaurant at an off time.

Yelp
Best sweet potato fries I've had in my life! Come for the food (seriously, the food is so good), stay for the friendly staff and cool, comfortable vibes.

Yelp
This is our favorite brunch restaurant. Beside the usual stuff(omelet station) , we love their shrimp cock trails and prime rub station. The best over the top is their fresh bake cinnamon rolls - you need to ask for it. Looking forward the next visit.

Yelp
We love Granite City! The Cajun pasta is delicious! We bought a kids burger for a nephew and it looked amazing especially for a kids burger. He loved it. Also tried the $12.99 Sunday breakfast and that was great too. Please don't change a thing you're doing.

Yelp
Came here with some family for dinner a couple of weeks back. We waited about 15-20 minutes for a table since the restaurant was busy and they were short on staff. We were seated and tended to quickly by a wonderful waitress. We didn't wait long for our drinks to arrive and she was quick with taking our meal orders. Everything came out as anticipated except for one meal. A relative of mine is gluten-free and had ordered a gluten-free chicken sandwich, and it seemed to have been messed up with a non-gluten-free chicken sandwich. While everyone ate their food, he unfortunately had to wait for new food to be made for him, and also had to reiterate that he needed the grilled versus breaded chicken sandwich because he's gluten-free. My partner and I each ordered a trio: he the chicken sandwiches and I the burgers. They were both tasty but definitely preferred the chicken sandwiches over the burgers. Overall, we had a positive dining experience at Granite City. We'll be back the next time we're in town.

Yelp
The happy hour deals are legit! Cocktails were great and server was super helpful, giving us recommendations based on what we like for drinks & food. I will definitely be back when in MSP area!

Yelp
We don't eat here as often as we should because we both like so many things on their menu. Their menu has remained extensive despite COVID turning many menus into a very small spattering of options. This visit, I chose the chicken pot pie. On a cold winter night, this comfort food felt like the right choice and it definitely was. It came covered with a nice crispy layer of crust. Under the top coating was a thick, super hot, pie of huge chucks of chicken in a creamy white sauce. It was very good (and filling!). My only ask would be to include more veggies. Husband had the Prime Rib sandwich and fries which is one of his favs. Their crinkly fries are so good. Service was good. Parking easy. Great stop.

Yelp
I would say everything about this place is average. There's nothing that stands out and nothing that I can complain about. That's why 3 stars is appropriate for average. I would say that since average customer service these days is hard to find, I gave an extra star for not being a horrible one. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't good. I had fish and chips and the although the quality of the fish seemed to be good, the batter was soggy. They don't have cheese curds!!
google avatar

Yelp
Granite City is great for what it is-predictable, casual food and drinks. We came here on a Thursday night with my partner's coworkers. Our server was attentive and kind and was able to explain the gluten-free options when I asked. I was surprised (and a bit frustrated) to learn that they no longer have a gluten-free menu, which they had when I worked at the same location ~7 years ago. Regardless, the food was what we expected. My burger was pretty good and my partner enjoyed his fish tacos.

Yelp
Favorite bunch spot with great service and amazing food! You can't go wrong here! Little to no wait and always hot and fresh food. While two of our regulars no longer where there we are happy that Autumn was our last server. Lots of pasties, salads, lot of different t cut fruit, shrimp, eggs, think bacon and plump sausages, yummy French toast with toppings, fluffy biscuits with Cajun gravy, cheesy hash brown dish, several lunch items, great eggs Benedict station, never ending omelet options, and rare prime rib with horseradish sauce. Lots of bloody options and endless Mimosas. Never disappointed and always full.

Yelp
I hesitated to write this as most of the reviews and experiences I've had have been worthy of 5 stars, but with people watching their dollars during these rough times I felt an obligation. Sadly this was the worst brunch I have ever had. Our server was the only one worthy of a star. Most of the food was inedible and the options were limited. The melons were under ripe and the one salad limp and over dressed. The rolls brought to the table were hard as a rock as if they'd been microwaved and left to sit. Even the kids wouldn't eat them! The peel and eat shrimp we had was not cleaned. I do some catering and there was some funky spice in the gravy I couldn't identify that was off-putting. The make your own station was disgusting. The hollandaise was a tad curdled and the eggs were overcooked. The amount of oil poured into the omelet pans was simply gross. The extra egg mixture was kept on the floor at the staff member's feet. The prime rib, which was the only meat at the carving station, was raw, really fatty, and tough. As for the desserts...what desserts?? Basically. I paid $21 for four pieces of bacon and a cup of coffee. Now that's inflation!

Yelp
Had a very nice meal and our waitress was great. Rob had a delicious pot roast (wish I had taken a photo) I had the chicken artichoke sandwich (too much bread but good) and Jan has fish fry, which she devoured. We were there early (4:30PM) but the place filled up nicely with a varied group. We will try it again. Very convenient.

Yelp
This is a relatively new GC location in Eagan. MN. This was for an Easter brunch. The restaurant was crowded and it was a constant coming and going of people through the doors. The service was very food for the most part. The food quality was about average, lots of variety but mixed temperatures for the hot food, some were hot and other dishes such as the scrambled eggs and bacon were cold. The specialty bar served omelets and Eggs Benedict. I should have selected the made to order omelet but instead went with the latter. The Benedict wasn't very tasty and the eggs weren't truly poached well. Perhaps, standard Sunday brunches are better than this Easter menu. I would return if given another opportunity.

Yelp
Granite City used to be a solid go-to in Eagan, but I'm not so sure anymore. It was on our semi-monthly rotation and we've done the Thanksgiving Buffet a few years in a row, but after our experience yesterday I think we'll be going elsewhere. The food was okay - but the service was *horrible*. Our server did the absolute minimum - she took our drink orders, brought our drinks, then took our food orders, and we never saw her again until she came to clear plates and bring a check. The food runner didn't stop long enough to ask if we needed refills and the manager finally came around after we were 90% done with our meals. I think the most insulting part is that they use a card reader app and stare at you while you are mentally trying to figure out how to give them a lower tip than the "minimum defaulted calculation" of 18%. I typically tip 25% but she deserved 10% - rather than fart around with it having her hover over me - I pushed 18%, signed, and just will not go back. Only one server around us was really putting out an effort and wanted to work - so it's a heart to heart the management team really needs to have. I get that food service isn't an ideal job, but if you don't want to be there - trust me - we can tell, and it makes patrons uncomfortable too.

Yelp
We went to Granite City in Eagan to celebrate a belated Christmas get together as a party of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children. The service was decent, could have been more attentive, but no real complaints. The food was awful. I ordered a margherita flatbread and have never before tasted anything like it. The flatbread tasted like how i imagine a spoonful of ketchup would taste. I took one bite and couldn't finish the piece. My husband and brother tried it and agreed that it tasted like ketchup. My son ordered a kids pizza and it looked like reheated day old pizza. While it tasted better than the flatbread I ordered, it was not good and went uneaten. My husband ordered the ribeye and it arrived with a large section of fat in the middle of the cut and he had to eat around the fat. My brother remarked that the men's restroom was the dirtiest restaurant bathroom he has ever seen. Overall, unimpressed and will not return.

Yelp
I have been avoiding Granite City restaurants for years because I had a couple of bad experiences at one of the other locations. But I was brought to this Eagan restaurant for a work lunch and I liked it plenty. They have a very different menu than what I remember from before, and someone who was with me observed that they must have recently revamped it. The best thing here was the service. We were very thoroughly attended to; this appears to be a hard-working crew that sincerely wants everyone to be taken care of. Beyond that, the food was mostly very good. I really liked my Chicken Limone, and some of my colleagues mentioned that they wished they'd gotten that instead just based on how good mine looked to them. Two of them ordered entrees that involved crispy chicken and were a little disappointed by their dryness. One person got the maple bacon flatbread which she shared around, and everyone really loved that. Despite that strong recommendation, I might just get that same Chicken Limone next time I'm here. It was a very satisfying meal.

Tony N.

Yelp
The food is very good, prices are on the high side but the service is consistently poor, very poor. The only reason we keep going back is because the food is so good. I don't know if the employees just don't care about their jobs or they are severely understaffed all the time. We get incorrect orders, under cooked or over cooked food and always have to remind the waitress/bartenders over and over about a drink we ordered. The frustration boiled over after sitting and waiting for 40 minutes and got no response as to when our food would arrive, so we got up and left. Too bad because I used to like this place and the store in Roseville just closed recently. Not sure if they had the same customer service problems or not???

Yelp
Brunch review. I've been to Granite City a few times over the last year or two, but I was really impressed today with their brunch! We started with the beverages and my husband had the Carnivore Bloody Mary which came with a beef stock, bacon, and a chicken wing on it and a beer chaser. You get to choose your vodka, spice level, beer chaser, and type of Bloody Mary. I had the a Infinite Mimosa which I loved and I was equally impressed with the great price ($7.99). You can choose one juice or all of them which is what I did. They bring you a little pitcher of each juice along with a pitcher of sparkling wine and you can build your own. It was fun and tasty. I also had coffee (because I apparently can't get enough beverages) and their coffee is fantastic! They start you put with a Caramel roll each which was nice. They were a little dark, but still pretty tasty and it was a nice gesture. The buffet itself was very good. They had a nice mix of breakfast and lunch type options as well as really good mini croissants, scones and muffins. They offered salad, French toast, great bacon and sausage, and eggs mixed with some breakfast potatoes, cheese and peppers, and a creole type rice dish with Andouille sausage and chicken. One of my favorite items was the biscuits and gravy which was flavorful with beautiful biscuits. The cheesy potatoes were also incredible! They also offer a Build Your Own breakfast sandwich station which was my husband's favorite. Prime rib carving station and a Build Your Own donuts station rounded out the options. The donuts are fresh and warm and there are decorative frosting stations and toppings. I put chocolate frosting, chopped bacon, and chopped Heath bar on mine. The service was extremely good...attentive and friendly which isn't always the case with buffets, and even the manager came and check to see how things were going. We were very happy with our experience and will definitely be going back!

Yelp
Although the service was pretty good, the restaurant was filthy and the food was barely ok. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was a thin piece and poor quality which did not justify the price of the entree. Won't go back.....

Jenna Q.

Yelp
Great executive chef, Josh. The food here is incredible, my personal favorite is the buffalo shrimp, fries and seasoned sour cream. I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the seating is great along with the parking. Highly recommend granite city in Eagan!

Zachary G.

Yelp
Great Executive Chef named Josh. I have noticed a tremendous change in the atmosphere since first coming here in a positive way.

Yelp
Delightful place for lunch. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Extensive menu that is prepared and put on your plate very nicely. The many windows make dining pleasant. Oh yes, they brew their beer and you have to try it. So good.

Jace L.

Yelp
Food was very good, but you could get the same quality at a Hilton hotel breakfast. There was syrup all over the floor, I stepped in it and so did others and it got spread all throughout the restaurant and wasn't cleaned up. The service was fine, no complaints there. Also the music is not as good as I would have hoped.

Yelp
This is not hyperbole: this restaurant is terrible. After one bite it was obvious that our steak and chicken entrees were cold. Not lukewarm, cold. We asked for a re-do and 15 mins later got new chicken and steak, except that it was our old chicken and steak that still had our initial bites removed, which means they either just put the plates in the microwave or put them back on the grill, which is a health department no-no. Either way, we sent them back and told them to just cancel the orders. The manager apologized and offered to personally prepare the meals, but there's no way we trust that kitchen. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, just about anywhere else. You're welcome.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
Since no one seemed to review about the brunch they offer.... We came here on Sunday for brunch. Brunch buffet is from 9-2pm on Sundays. Adults: $18.99 and kids: $6.99. It's worth the money in my opinion because there are many options. Buffet includes favorites from fruits to bacon to hash browns to chicken, and more. They also offers a creation station which includes designing your own donuts and creating omelets, Benedict's or breakfast sandwiches, as well as a carving table that includes slow roasted prime rib. While the quantity is great, quality was lacking. But that is expected of a buffet. You can order infinite mimosa or enjoy the Bloody Mary experience. But are not included in the buffet price. The food was good but nothing great, but I enjoyed having options and being able to eat a bit of everything. Masks required while waiting in the buffet line as well as walking around. The food is served by employees. Customer service was great.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience here. I've gone into multiple different settings. I've gone with girlfriends for a happy hour, I've gone with my husband on a date, I've gone with my daughter as well for a family dinner, and somehow one restaurant works for every situation. The drinks are good as well as the food. One thing to note is that the desserts are humongous. I love that they have daily specials like all-you-can-eat pasta or a deal on apps, etc. I definitely would recommend going to happy hour on Thursdays so that you can get happy hour drink specials and appetizer specials. It has a nice big parking lot, so that's never been an issue, and the service has always been good.

Yelp
Granite City is a pretty good bar/restaurant located around the Twin Cities area and I like to drop in from time to time. This was the first time going to the location with a large group (around 12 of us) after a Christmas band concert. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very traditional to what you will find at a Granite City. There are stone and wood accented rooms with neutral color and a scattering of neutral decor. Nothing too special but it has a nice look to it. TVs at the bar help you stay in touch with the game but does not make the whole place feel like a bar. Our server seemed like he would be right on the ball. He went off and numbered each one of us to keep track of our split check orders. He was funny and very nice and took our drink and food orders rather quickly. That is where it ended in terms of speedy and accurate service. We waited for about 20-25 minutes until drinks came out. Nothing too extreme, a few cocktails and beer flights and glasses of water. I tried one of the beer flights and was satisfied with my four choices. The Emperial Stout and Dark IPA were delicious. The stout was sweet, nutty, and rich and was absolutely excellent. If you like dark chocolate/coffee beers, you will love the Emperial Stout. The food was about another 15 minutes after the drinks came. So in grand total it took about 30-35 minutes for us to get our food. Once again, nothing too crazy was ordered, a few burgers, a pasta dish, a flatbread, and a couple of sandwiches. My wife had the flatbread pizza and it looked great and tasted great. The maple sugared bacon on top was a nice touch. I ordered the Bleu Peppercorn Burger and man that was a great burger. Cooked perfectly at medium rare, it melted in my mouth. Very tasty. Another annoyance beside the wait was the accuracy of our order. Instead of an Appletini, we got a Pineappletini. A few of the meals were wrong. It almost seemed like our server was hard of hearing because it was kind of right but not (think apple to pineapple). Too bad that the service was spotty because this place had good food and drink and large, roomy seating areas. I will probably stop by for their brunch scene to give them another shot.

Yelp
Extremely average food. Overpriced for the quality "even with rising food costs". Ordered my burger medium. It was past well done. "Seasoned" sour cream dip for fries. Taste like just sour cream. Wife and I seasoned it ourselves. I've ordered here about 3 times only because my wife enjoys there chicken tenders which are solid. Everything else is meh.

Yelp
After many visits to this restaurant my table last PM was treated so poorly it will be our last visit to the establishment. We asked waitress if they could make an apple martini, she said yes. We received a martini glass 1/3 filled with a terrible tasting drink. We told waitress who said she felt they were underfilled as well. Young lady bartender came over and said she made the drinks based on a recipe she read and not many people order them . When I explained we have had them in many places over years and these weren't right she said in an extreme condescending and defiant way "I can't just give you free alcohol.... Sorry " ( we didn't ask or expect free alcohol) she turned herself around like an angry teenager and huffed away. Everyone at table was shocked at her demeanor. Manager then came and said drinks are half full so will only charge for one. I believe the correct customer service approach would have been a polite, I'm sorry you don't care for them , can I bring you something else or take them off your bill. I was made to feel though like I was looking to scam them out of a drink or get something I didn't deserve. I wasn't . It was a terrible beverage. I would suggest manager and bartender try and drink one themselves as they made it, just not anyone else. So easy to just be nice instead of belittling us. ( photo below shows what a correct pour would look like!

Yelp
Came in for my college friend's bachelorette party dinner. There were 24 of us at the table and they only had one server taking our drinks/food order. They should have assigned two servers to help out with taking orders to help speed up the process and for everyone's food and drink to come out about the same time. I had the beer flight since I can't decide on just one beer and I'm not a beer drinker so it was hard for me. I had the Ukelele, Brunette, Bennie and Oktoberfest. I like the Oktoberfest and the Brunette the best. The other two were too bitter or that it didn't have a smooth after taste for my liking. My steak salad was delicious with the steak done medium and it was very tender and juicy. It's a new item on the menu but I feel like I've had their steak salad at the Maple Grove and St. Cloud locations before. I've not been disappointed in the food quality here. It was Oktoberfest going on while we were there so they had a special menu for the occasion. They redid their menu and so now it's booklet with leather bound covers. They have quite an extensive list of items on the menu. The cocktails that the gals from our party ordered look appealing and sounds delicious. One of our friends, it was her birthday and so they brought out a cookie and ice cream on the house. Overall, if you plan to come here with a large group expect to scream in order to be heard in your conversations and group because the restaurant is loud with no sound proofing.

Yelp
After spending the day at Mall of America my friends we decided that we needed to get out for a real meal... and a beer! We decided to make our way to Granite City Food and Brewery. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is large enough to hold any sized group. It's a fairly type chain feel; some stone accent walls, a few pictures hung, and a tv here or there to stay tuned in to your favorite sporting event. EATS/DRINKS: The menu is set up very well! Each food item also makes a suggestion of what beer pairs the best with it. They do feature a wide variety of their own brews too. I opted for the BTA Grilled Cheese and a 20 ounce pour of the Northern (as recommended). The Northern is an american lager with a crisp, clean finish, and minimal bitterness. Just what I needed! My sandwich (the BTA Grilled Cheese) was very good and unique. It was served up on multigrain bread, with bacon jam, tomatoes, avocados, havarti cheese, cheddar cheese. When I read "bacon jam" I knew I had to try it. It was a terrific mix of sweet and savory. SERVICE: This is where I personally was the most disappointed. My meal alone somehow took FOREVER. I don't mind if there's a bit of a wait. However our server was back dropping by my fellow diner's meals and never once acknowledged I was still waiting. It got to the point of being almost comical (like were they aging the cheese for me personally?!). Even getting our check took an extended amount of time. You'd think they were busy, but no, we were one of maybe four small groups dinning at this time. Very frustrating. While the food and the beer were four star worthy, I can say that the service with def make me think twice about returning during my next visit to Minnesota.

Yelp
Our first brunch experience was OK. Our server was not a regular brunch server. He wasn't up on the brunch protocol, like the Bloody Mary menu and caramel rolls brought to the table. There was a nice variety of brunch foods. My husband was all over the prime rib. Second brunch was not as impressive despite our server knowing the brunch protocol. The caramel rolls were over done and the caramel was scant. The hubs said the prime rib was cold. He was not impressed. The restaurant feels like an update would be beneficial. The manager was nice and inviting. He stopped by our table to check in. That was good.

Yelp
We stopped in to celebrate a friends birthday and couldn't have been more pleased! We made a reservation and were promptly seated upon arrival. Our server was very attentive, informative, and let the room breathe when it was clear we were trying to enjoy some quality time. Something not every server does, so it's much appreciated when you have one that does! All of the food we ordered was cooked to our liking, the drinks were delicious (maybe too good!) and the price couldn't be beat. We split the pretzel to start and I have to say this was probably one of my more favorite pretzels from a restaurant. Most are too heavy on the salt, while here it seemed more of an accent, which it should be! My fiance and his best friend speak highly of the brunch on Sunday's so I will definitely be back to give that a shot.

Yelp
I normally like Granite City, but the Eagan location was just ok. I met a former co-worker mid afternoon (around 3) for a bit to eat and to catch up. I ordered a salad and my table mate a burger. Neither one was bad, not was is great. It was okay. It did not meet the normal standard of Granite City to be fresh and tasty. Again, not bad, just felt to be a meal we could have gotten at an Applebee's and I am not a fan of the aforementioned. Maybe it was the time of day, possibly not the "A" staff - but it was okay.

Yelp
Tried again. Ordered millionaire ' s BLT on whole grain with lettuce and tomato on side . Got burnt white bread with lettuce and tomato in the sandwich. No chips.

Yelp
This was our first time ever coming to Granite City and we definitely will NEVER be back. We came in and got seated immediately which was nice. when we were walking to our table the floor was filthy. like some toddlers just ate and threw it all on the floor. there was napkins and some silverware on the floor too. there was at least 3 tables that were empty and dirty which was disgusting. Multiple servers stared at us and didn't offer us any drinks or even acknowledge we were there. Then finally after 10 min the BARTENDER came from behind the bar and asked us if we were doing brunch or lunch. I asked him what the difference was since its our first time. he said "ill just get you guys some menus." he came back with waters and some menus and just left. couple minutes later one of the servers, who'd been staring at us the entire time, came up and asked if we'd be doing brunch or lunch and I said again I dont know what the difference is and she said she'd "give us a couple minutes and come back since we weren't ready" I looked around to try and figure out what they were talking about and people were coming from the back of the restaurants with plates of slop. I looked at my partner and we got up and left. The attitude and the unappetizing food was enough. We went to REDSTONE where we were treated with respect and were served promptly WITHOUT an attitude.

Yelp
My 12 year old granddaughter rated it an 11 star experience, best I could do was 5! Terrific brunch for all ages and tastes. For us it was the biscuits (warm, fresh and homemade), the bacon (delish), endless shrimp cocktail (you do have to peel the shrimp, but easy to do), the pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy (almost better than mine), prime rib (super tender), donut station (speechless...try the pepper bacon and add some of the caramel left from the caramel roll)...... oh, and the coffee is great! This is going to be a new birthday go to place!

Yelp
A pretty decent craft beer selection and a better than expected spicy pasta dish. Good spot too in case you land after 8pm at the airport because the rest of the area shuts down.

Yelp
Great Beer and they have fantastic food to do with it. They also have great service to deliver all the beer and food you want. Drink responsibly.
