Granny Ogle's Ham 'n' Beans

This was an enjoyable, quaint, little restaurant in the heart of Dollywood. We were seated within a couple minutes at a table indoors and the service was very quick and friendly. I have allergies and asked for their allergen list and they were kind enough to bring me an entire binder to look through. I enjoyed the Pulled Ham Sandwich that came with pinto beans and kettle chips. I absolutely loved it! My husband ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it was fantastic as well. Definitely a great homemade taste and feeling here. They serve skillet cornbread and butter as a complimentary appetizer as well. I definitely recommend dropping by here when you’re in the park!

OMG. we shared a sampler platter. For starters we were served a cast iron pan of cornbread with butter The sampler platter had meatloaf , pulled pork, greens and mashed potatoes. it came with a bowl of Brunswick stew and a side bowl of pinto beans. It was amazing. So much food for the value. We both left stuffed. The server was friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend this stop while in DW. you won't be disappointed.

Cute place, very reasonable prices, and DELICIOUS food. Only comment is there are no to go containers so you have to eat as much as you can while there

Although it does not show on Google Maps, just to the right of Granny Ogle’s Ham and Beans is The Valley Hat Shop. This is a nice little hat shop with a definite Western flair. They stock hats of several types as well as jeans, boots and several other items. They are also really nice people.

So surprised to find really good lunch and reasonable priced in an amusement park. Got seated right away, tables are on porch, waitress service. Ordered the vegetarian bowl that was delicious and tasted like down home cooking, cream spinach, green beans,roasted potatoes and cornbread for $14.99. Friend got chicken pot pie. Great place in park to sit down and enjoy a meal.

This place is horrible . The server had a chip on her shoulder. Not tentive . We ordered Sweet tea . It tasted like swamp water.. I ask for sprite. The server slamed it on our table . We ordered Chicken dumplins . It came back in a small bowl. Didn't look like chicken dumplins .It tasted like kerosene. We finely gave up. Paid our bill left with no lunch. I would not recommend this place .

I had an excellent experience! Even though it was wintertime, the food arrived warm and fresh--perfect for heating up the body and soul amidst the frigid air. Everyone in my party ate here at different times throughout our visit, and we each praised the quality of flavor and portion size. The Fruit Cobbler wrapped up the savory, tender meal with sensational sweetness. Served in a cast iron skillet, this dessert provided the right balance of flaky pie crust and tart berry filling. Note: I ate here about two years ago when Dollywood was taking extra precautions against the pandemic. The restaurant may have been offering slightly different service or food selection at the time.

Really sweet servers who will treat you nicely! Our meal was in a matter of minutes and really enjoyed it. If you don’t want to eat the usual options like burgers or pork, this is the place you need to go to. Prices are fine for the quality and they give you a free entry which is a corn bread pot 🤤

For amusement park food Granny Ogle's was very good! We all tried something different. The ham, greens and cornbread were the favorites! The service was friendly and kind. We will definitely go back!

1. Portion size is not commensurate with cost of the meal. 2. Beans were very good and flavorful. 3. Request for a slice of onion, turned into chopped day old onion. 4. Cornbread very good. 5. Greens had no flavor and were not good at all. Tasted as if they were from a can.

The meatloaf stacker is by far my favorite here! Everything on the menu is great, and this is definitely worth a stop to visit

We were at Dollywood shortly before Christmas. After eating fast food and turkey legs all the time we decided to try something different. It was no wait at all! Overall: The weather was super unpleasant so sitting inside a warm restaurant was a huge plus for us. Service was very good. Everyone wears country style cloth and speaking with southern accent. Love it! Food was good if you like beans. There were a lot of beans and my kids loved all of them, even the ones with heavy rosemary flavor. The corn bread came with the food was very nice and tasty too. They provide two different types of butters. we ordered: - deviled egg: it was good and rich. Can't eat more than a half though. - meatloaf: my husband said it was very decent. - beef pot roast: the meat is very moist and tender but it was a bit too salty for me. - pit ham: a bit dry but tasted really good. - chicken cassoulet: this was the fish with intense rosemary flavor but my kid loved it. He ate the dish nearly all by himself.

Best theme park food ever. The meatloaf was delicious!! Highly recommend! And our server Isaac did a great job :)

If you are looking for a nice spot to grab a hearty lunch or dinner than this is the place. After coming down the mountain at Dollywood we decided to grab some lunch and when I saw that they had Ham and beans on the menu I knew we would look no further. Be aware there could be a wait, in our case or was about 15 minutes. You just stand in line and wait until it's your turn with a host or hostess. When our turn came around we were taken into the house and around the porch to a great spot next to the railing overlooking one of the outdoor stages where different southern gospel gr pi ups were performing. We looked over the menu and right away I knew those Ham and Beans would be mine. Our server seemed a little tired by the time she came over, and who wouldnt be with all of the tables constantly being served but she was pleasant. She also brought us a skillet of fresh corn bread and an assortment of bitters. We quickly ordered and then chatted while we waited for our lunches. It wasnt long before she was bringing them out and it's a good thing too because we were hungry. I haven't had Ham and Beans in a coons age so I quickly dug in. Delicious pinto beans with shredded pork and if course I had to try a little cornbread. My meal also was accompanied by some delicious slaw as well as some turnip greens which I discovered that I am not a fan. All in all it was a tasty relaxing meal. The only downside was the wait to cash out and she wasnt able to split pur check but if we make it back I would definitely get this again and maybe split a cobbler. Happy dining ya'll!

Fabulous! We stopped and were seated on the porch where we could eat and watch people. Hostess and server were friendly. Our server was super nice and efficient. We halfway expected the menu to be overpriced because it was at Dollywood but it wasn't. Our food was excellent. What more can I say. We would definitely consider stopping here again.

A nice, friendly front porched restaurant located within Dollywood that helped us warm up on a cold day. The menu is limited on offerings but not on taste. They start you off with cornbread in a small skillet with butter. My pot roast was really good and so were my sides. It was a decent meal, I would go back.

Not sure where some of these people who rate this place highly usually eat but I'm guessing they've never had real food. The meatloaf stack is tasteless and the ham is blah. The service was about as friendly as a fast food restaurant...zero personality. This was my first experience at Dollywood and was not impressed with the food at all. If you are used to eating at 1 to 2 star places, the food will be fine for you. Typical theme part pricing(still cheaper than Disney) $70 for 3 adult meals and a kids meal. The cornbread was very bland, not worth eating bad calories/carbs for. Why do they put the food in a cold skillet? At least warm up the skillet to pretend you cooked the food in it. The honey butter is absolutely horrible for you. Check out the photos. Dolly, please upgrade your food and put the servers through a personality training program.

I've eaten at almost ever restaurant at DW. I'm there often. This one...okay. It's probably what I ordered...cornbread salad. It was iceberg lettuce - much like a Cobb salad with soggy cornbread croutons. Lettuce was wilted. That was the biggest disappointment. Everything else was fresh. The ranch dressing was also tasty. The server brings out a small iron skillet of yellow meal corn bread. It's warm. It's the sugar free kind of corn bread. Heads up. Use the honey butter on it. Drinks are cold. Restaurant clean. Servers....NOT SMILING! That was huge. Dollywood is a FUN place where you can feel "like kin". Not at Granny Ogles. Unfortunately. What's sad is that Dolly would go to Granny Ogles as a girl because she lived her pinto beans and cornbread. I suspect Granny wasn't a grouch! I'll cut them some slack. It was December and 70 degrees and the servers all in long sleeve dresses with aprons and bonnets. Yikes. Everyone was really warm anyway but still...fake it if you have to. The smile that is. After all...it's about memories worth repeating.

I spent 1/24th of my joyful day waiting in line to be seated on a tarp covered porch with clear plastic "viewing sections" of the park to preserve the down home atmosphere. The hostess was dutiful, as was our waitress but something is definitely missing here. Due to hunger related misjudgment, I ordered the deluxe deviled eggs with special bacon, which seemed straight out of the freezer. Yes, deviled eggs from a freezer. We did not fuss over who got to eat the last one, but who had to. You might need to read that last line again. Everyone at our table ordered something different for dinner but each meal eventually materialized as a variation of the same four ingredients. Salt is the common denominator of each dish so if you are prone to any medical condition that would be aggravated by sodium, you would be wise to seek nourishment elsewhere. When the vomiting commenced at the table behind us and the subsequent cleanup by the staff, with the overwhelming pungent absorbing material and slop mop happened, we knew we were past the point of no return. The food was good and the portions were large, but if you weren't diabetic before going in, you are now.

My school had our senior trip to Dollywood, and my friends and I ate here. we all loved the food. plus, the service was great too. there is also a show beside the tables so you can watch that while you eat (if your timing is right)!

Eating here was one of the highlights of our trip to Dollywood. We hadn't planned to dine here (the name is less than appetizing IMO) but since there was no wait and we were all starving, ham n' beans it is! It was a nice day and the covered patio seating was perfect - listening to the music from the pavilion next door, table service was VERY fast and friendly. Complimentary corn bread was crumbly and dry but still a good partner to the pot roast and pulled ham platter. My group of 5 ordered 1 kids meal, 2 platters, and 1 sandwich (and some deviled eggs to start). This was plenty for us all. The platters are a great value at $16 because they include dessert! And man, was dessert heavenly! Their cobblers are to.die.for! We sampled apple caramel cobbler and blackberry cobbler. Yum yum! Would absolutely recommend this place - a hidden gem! I would've bought a t-shirt if they sold them!

Food is pretty good, when they have what you want. They had run out of many things my fiancé and I had ordered. Their cornbread is great and not to be missed.

Are here and the food gave me and my family the worst stomaches. Seems like the food was "cooked" within 2 minutes, and it wasn't worth it.

Have to say - we are Floridians and go to Disney and Universal more than you can imagine but this place had the best southern home cooked food at a theme park we have ever had. What a great meal to have in the middle of the day. Good old southern comfort food. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Dollywood - what a great alternative to the fast food crap out there!! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was a great spot to stop & cool down and eat a bite. My girlfriend & I shared the sampler as we did not want to get overly full. The flavor was exactly like old time country food should taste. (that's not my thing, but this is great for folks that do enjoy that type of food). We had mashed potatoes collard greens, beans, slaw-ish something, ham & pot roast. Why slaw-ish you ask? The menu said slaw, what we received was a condiment sized cup, with cabbage that had been pulverized into tiny cubes. That's it, nothing else to it. This coupled with the extremely long wait is what warrants 3 stars. They bring out a small pan of cornbread, which is quite nice. One of the most plain cornbreads ever. Now I did keep in mind that I was eating very down home country food at an amusement park. My expectations weren't too awfully high.I'm just telling this fact so yours aren't either. All in all it's a good deal. You get a good meal for a decent price. There is however a little wiggle room for improvement however.
