This small town restaurant is a hidden gem that you should definitely go try! Right on M21 it is a little bit of a hike but so worth it! Their ribs are to die for, with everything smoked on site. You cant go wrong with their BBQ. They have a fish fry Friday that cant be beat, that includes things like cod and walleye. We do miss the honey shrimp they discontinued though. Also check out their massive dessert fridge with anything you could ever want. The staff is attentive and welcoming, you will feel right at home.

First time visit to Granny's. Have wanted to stop and just haven't had a chance till today. Greeted when we walked in the door. We were really impressed. Service was awesome. Prices were decent. And the food, AWESOME! I had an omelet, and my wife had one of the breakfast plates. If you're driving thru Oakley, stop into Granny's. You will not be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Service, Food, Price, and overall experience was top notch. We weren’t expecting much so I didn’t bother taking photos and videos but boy did I make a mistake. This place is a must try for their delicious breakfast menu and mouth watering ribs and dinner menu 🔥

My liver and onions was really good, but the hash browns were way overcooked. She ordered a hot turkey sandwich because they are really good there.. now it's not real turkey it's sliced turkey lunch meat that didn't taste like turkey. Give the customers what they're used to and the business will thrive.. otherwise people will go elsewhere. Otherwise very nice little restaurant and the service is excellent, been coming here for years with friends and family.

Eggs not cooked right. Didn't care for the home fries the hash was the best on the plate and it was canned, I asked. I do ear they have awesome fish and chips. I would go back there to try it

Brought my 81 year old 110 # mother here on a whim after a doctors appointment. Mom hasnt been eating much of late. Mom ate a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup as did I.. the soup is to die for! We also had a late breakfast. All of it was awesome. Eggs cooked to perfection, hash browns perfect, biscuits and gravy phenomenal and the sausage?!?!?! OMG! Best sausage EVER! Mom ate 75% of her breakfast and took home the remainder for later that day. I odered the brisket dinner for myself to go, but my mother suggested my sister would like it better so she had if for lunch the next day. She said it was simply AWESOME. Finally the service. Jennifer was a treat! An absolute delight! I am glad she was our server our very first visit as my mother commented on how delightful and funny she was... We also got 3 slices of pie to go. Cherry, apple/maple and Pumpkin cheesecake. OMG! I plan on driving the 2 hours to Midland to take my mom to her doctors visits when needed and plan on stopping by this wonderful diner every trip! You have my appetite! Next time I am getting the brisket!!!

Went because of the high reviews. Was very disappointed, ordered ribs with a baked potato. Ribs were smoked but had no flavor, then to top it off they were overdone and cold. It was more like terrible jerky. Baked potato was dry as well. Struggled through have the dinner and gave up. My wife had the shrimp dinner with fries. Shrimp were overdone and tough. Don't know how they got good rating, we won't be back.

Classic home cooked meals. I swear your grandmother must have prepared them. Plus, absolutely delicious pies!

I bought 8 racks of their ribs for the guys at work and they absolutely loved them. The BBQ sauce was as big a hot with the guys too. The service was friendly, convenient and fast. For the outward appearance the dining area is spacious and really clean, my new favorite spot to surprise friends. I know a few of my friends here in Lansing plan to go out there to try the brisket. Very very good experience.

I wasn't to impressed with this place it was pretty busy it was highly recommended by a costumer of mine maybe it was a off day but wasn't my favorite

Oh my! Some of the best barbecue you will find in all of central Michigan! The servers are so nice and just super genuine people. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a down home meal.

This place is AWESOME. I am 54 years old and have ate a lot of burgers, their Swiss mushroom burger is the BEST that I have ever had. You can actually taste the beef of the burger and they did not skimp on the mushrooms. My brother had biscuits and gravy and loved the gravy and flaky biscuits. The waitress was so nice and kept the coffee cup and soda full.

Just a small out of the way diner. We tried the sweet chili meatballs and pulled pork sandwich off of the specials board. Loved the meatballs (we got the last ones). Sandwich was good, I put coleslaw it and it was yummy!! Fries came with both meals and they were pretty good. Really liked our server. She was pleasant and helpful. We will go back.

Wonderful food served here. Everything from the BBQ pit boss, to Granny's homemade desserts. You can't go wrong going here for a quick lunch, or full on sit down dinner.

Granny's is one of our favorites. Specials can go quick, so order ahead. We particularly love their breakfast sandwiches, fish dinners, and pancakes. Haven't really disliked anything though. Anything from the smoker is delicious. Ribs, chicken, corned beef. It's all smoked to perfection. And don't forget to order dessert! Service is always friendly, but is pretty relaxed/ casual so don't dine in if you're in a big hurry. They're usually really good about having to go orders ready at the time you request or that they say. Dining area is small, but clean. Decor is kitschy diner mixed with local stuff.

Ate here for the first time a few days ago. The food was good. We ordered the sausage gravy omelet, different but good. Quick service and the food was hot. I would reccomend this place.

Great food, Spectacular service:) will be here again. The breakfast selecton was endless so many options to choose from. It really is a countrystyle family restaurant with great family values . It is so nice to see the same kind staff working there every visit. They have a great menu and a very cozy very hygee feel. Love it there!

Fast, friendly service and delicious food! I love their breakfast, a great way to start your morning. Their omelets and biscuits and gravy are my go to. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit to this reastaurant. I ordered the special of the day, the all-you-can-eat walleye dinner. Since I wasn't asked about my lunch, I had to flag down our waiter. I told him the fish was so OVER COOKED that I couldn't even chew it and it was VERY greasy. He brought me another plate of fish, however second plate wasn't much better. Since he, again, didn't ask how how I liked my fish, I just decided to give up. I didn't feel like waiting for another greasy, over cooked plate of fish, since my guest was finished with her meal. As a matter of fact, we didn't see him again until he brought the bill. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I can honestly say this was the worst fish I have ever eaten. How hard is it to fry fish?

Walk in and there is a home town feeling. If you come here often rest assured they will know your name and your regular order in no time. This was my second time here and it won't be the last. Staff is friendly, portion sizes are very respectable, the food is flavorful. The prices are average but a great value, they even have a 5 lunch special and most come with a drink. Who can beat that? Typically there is no wait. The place could use a little updating but hey, all the other reasons to go are way above average.

Perfect little mom and pops place for a quaint dining experience. The staff was very friendly and the service was great! The Prices are low but the food portions are not. I'm going to come back soon!
