"Grant Park Coffeehouse closes Tuesday, September 28, on Cherokee Avenue, but plans to relocate September 29 to downtown Atlanta and open a second location in Grant Park next year. “After 11 years at our current location across from the Atlanta Zoo, we are packing up our coffee makers and chicken salad and relocating slightly further downtown. Our new location will be 8 Park Place South in Downtown Atlanta,” an announcement from owner Rahel Belfield reads on the coffee shop’s website." - Beth McKibben

Nice coffee shop. A little pricey. The service is just fine. We waited for our coffees about 15 minutes. They missed the order or something, I had to go to them and ask where’s the coffee. The employee said “I’m gonna make it now” - after 15 minutes passed. The food arrived maybe 25 minutes later after we ordered.

Beautiful place, large selection of baked goods, great coffee, friendly staff. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the Vegan Banana bread. Normally I equate Vegan with Awful but I'm happy to report at least one vegan item is delicious.

My husband and I loved going to this coffee shop every morning since our Airbnb was within walking distance. Their coffee and muffins are amazing, and the vibe is really cool too!

Local place with great atmosphere, fresh products made there, Ave efficient staff. Note: entrance is Georgia, not on Grant

I came in this morning to grab a cup of coffee and saw several signs advertising biscuits. On a whim I decided to order one, and I’m so glad I did! This place has absolutely delicious Southern style buttermilk biscuits. I would recommend anybody looking for a good biscuit to give them a try!

Super nice place. The food is amazing and quite cheap. It is also fresh…they run out of items…there’s no more. You can treat yourself without breaking the bank.

What a surprise this turned out to be! It was absolutely fabulous. The chicken salad sandwich was the best i've had anywhere. Scones and muffins were very tasty. Coffee was great. We were on our way to the zoo and stopped in for a snack. It was 💯 worth the visit.

This place will restore your faith in coffeeshops! Truly amazing all around. You will NOT pay exorbitant prices for teeny, tiny servings. You will get real value. Our family of four stumbled in on a Sunday morning after a Saturday night in a nearby Airbnb. We were hungry, tired, and in need of coffee. I felt sure my extremely needy family would give Grant Park a run for its money (and probably leave them side-eyeing us and cheering our exit), but even as we amassed a massive order of breakfast burritos, cheese grits, pancakes and the like, the servers at GPC seemed ready and undaunted. For how much food and coffee we ordered, the staff got our items out nice and quickly. The food was incredible. My fam will usually find something to grumble about (perhaps you can relate), but each of the four of us were delighted with our bites. I highly recommend getting the breakfast burrito and then putting a small scoop of cheese grits on each bite of the burrito. It was an incredible way to start the day! The staff was super nice and smiley. They checked on us at a perfect level of attentiveness. And they contributed to a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. 10 out 10 for GPC. Visit this sweet respite from the traffic and high cost of everything else in Atlanta. We are going back a second time tomorrow morning!

Yelp
I've been here a couple times. I really like their: Butter scones, and muffins. I've had those a couple times in a too good to go order, and I've decided to sit in today ... I decided to sit inside today, ate some of their daily soup (butternut squash ) which was so delicious. The rum cake was really good, my boyfriend had a chocolate muffin that was really nice too. I also had a strawberry lemonade(not pictured) also super good! I recommend trying their daily food items Pricing is so fair, you can't beat it. I love being able to do all of that(pictures) and tip with a $20, that means a lot to me as a neighborhood cafe. The vibes are extremely cozy and I see it's a perfect place to get some work done because it's not really loud at all. I've never seen it crowded but there's always people there vibing. Great spot.

Yelp
I really want to support local coffee shops and on that endeavor I stopped by here to trial their baked goods. The egg and sausage hot pocket was huge and filling. I do wish there was more sausage egg balance in the filling The chocolate crossaint and chocolate muffin were great. The chocolate scone wasn't as traditional as scone and more on the cake texture. Everything is made Is house fresh. My least favorite wad chocolate chip cookie (too sweet) and blueberry muffin (dry)

Yelp
I stopped by Grant Park Coffeehouse to read after jury duty, and I might just have found a new haunt! The staff is friendly and the environment is delightfully chill. It isn't too crowded, the seats are extremely comfy, and reggae music is playing over the speakers with Marley themes portrayed in the art throughout. I was hungry for lunch and got a chicken salad sandwich. They don't skimp on chicken salad! Make sure to grab a fork before heading to your table because you'll want to eat all of the chicken salad that falls out of the sandwich. I got mine on a croissant, which was a dollar extra, but it was worth it in my opinion. The croissant was flaky without being too messy, and it was large enough for a filling lunch. Oh, and it comes with a pickle, which is always an extra point in my book. For my coffee, I got a latte with vanilla flavoring, and thought it was great. I sometimes find with lattes that the amount of milk can drown out the espresso, but that wasn't the case here. The ratio of espresso to milk to foam to flavoring was delightful. Grant Park Coffeehouse is a great place to read or work - I'll probably bring my laptop here in the future on a day when I'm working remotely. The parking situation is a bit less than ideal, as it is street parking only, but it wasn't pretty easy to find a spot nearby on a weekday at lunch time. I'll be back soon!

Yelp
Quick and easy bite thats very cost efficient but don't expect too much with the food. It gets the job done but isn't that great in my opinion. My egg and turkey bacon sandwich was decent but I wasn't a fan of the Grant pocket. The dough used was a little hard. As someone who doesn't eat pork I did really appreciate the meat options they had which isn't as common at breakfast places. The interior of this place is nice and can be used as a great WFH location.

Yelp
The show I'm working on was filming a few minutes down the street from here today, so my coworker and I stopped in. The ambiance is trendy, clean, and beautiful--I love the brick walls and the decor. It feels elegant yet casual. The staff was all welcoming and kind, which was of course really nice. My coworker and I are both obsessed with lavender, so we each got an iced lavender latte. It was absolutely divine! If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely be returning. Thank you!

Yelp
Woof, here we go again. While the ambiance is bright and sunny, the seating plentiful, and the pastry selection dainty, my issue lies with the customer service once again. I wanted a Almond Blossom Matcha latte listed under "Customer Favorites" When asked to correct the order, it took 4~ minutes to get the correct item listed on their menu screen. I support baristas, but would opt to put my order in myself if human interaction is this remedial. The other barista came over and corrected everything, except it being an iced latte. While being nice has its perks, all I ask from people is that they do their job well. Give me a frown for all I care; just give me what I ordered correctly! I'd give this place 2 stars if the drink wasn't satiable. You can find better matcha at Starbucks,

Yelp
Had a delicious vegan sweet potato bread and an equally tasty matcha latte. The service was amazing and I will definitely be back. It is a large space and even offers individual office space for taking calls as well as a conference room (reservations needed).

Yelp
A wonderful coffeehouse with good coffee, great food, a community feel and an owner who bakes all the goods herself. This is a community gem. I enjoyed being able to work from here in the separated work space that allowed for privacy as well. This one is not to be missed!

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop about a block from Grant Park! On a recent trip to Atlanta my wife and I got an Airbnb in the Grant Park area. On Sunday, we decided to walk to the farmers market with a stop for coffee along the way. Once we arrived, we wished we had planned to get breakfast as well. We had no idea there was such an expansive breakfast and lunch menu. With breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. There are LOTS of tables and the service is very friendly! If you live in the area, go set up and work from there for a day so you can get something from each section of the menu! My iced latte was very good and my wife enjoyed her cold brew.

Yelp
GPCH is my cozy haven for productivity. It offers ample seating, and if you're lucky, you can snag one of their charming rooms. But it's not just about the workspace; GPCH serves up more than a decent cup of coffee. Their baked goods are pure magic. My top picks? The zucchini carrot bread with nuts and those irresistible apricot scones. For lunch, their sandwiches hit the spot. What truly stands out, though, is the friendly and welcoming staff. While parking might be a tad limited, the nearby street spots make up for it. GPCH is the local gem where I get things done with a smile

Yelp
Checked out the new location of Grant Park Coffeehouse for their ice cream summer social. The new space is beautiful and great for people trying to get some work done at a coffee shop. It's a big improvement from their previous spot. At the same time, the coffee, which is the main draw for any coffeehouse, is not great and I've heard this from others too so I don't think it's just me. I like my coffee black and good speciality coffee prepared correctly does not need cream/sugar for purist coffee drinkers. Both the cold brew and regular hot coffee I had were too bitter (over-extracted?) The staff is friendly and their new, expanded menu has a lot of good choices. I heard good things about the banana bread and other baked goods. The grilled cheese sandwich was decent and appropriately priced. My Mediterranean salad was just ok. Small things like having one fresh salad dressing option in-house, can go a long way as well as having Kalamata olives or fresh green rather than the small bland black olive pieces for a salad like this. Less foodie ppl may not care that much. They also forgot my side of chips (not sure if I was charged or not). Great to have these guys back in the neighbourhood and I would visit again and potentially get some work done here. The ice cream (Ashby Sterling) is also pretty good and overall it's great to have another affordably priced food/dessert option in the hood. Lastly, they have some side meeting rooms which may be a good option for local businesses.

Yelp
I live a few blocks away, and love walking to this coffee house. The ambiance is inviting and there is always a good group of people around. The coffee is very good and they have lots of variety. I also see that they offer frozen coffee which would be great in the summer. They also serve ice cream and it is good! I saw lots of people working and meeting with friends. A good place to have a casual lunch. The food is really tasty and filling, you get a decent sandwich size for a good price. Cons: - there are only 3 official parking spots, but plenty of street parking - the front door is hard to open, and may be difficult to open from either side if you have a disability. Bathrooms are also up some stairs so keep that in mind.

Yelp
I needed a little pick me up on a rainy Saturday afternoon so I went to this coffeehouse for a matcha latte. I arrived shortly before 4 pm (they're open until 5 pm) and I was one of the few people there. There was only one person behind the coffee bar and the two other customers were waiting for their order. I opted for a small matcha latte with almond milk - it was about $6 I think. My drink was prepared right away. It was a warm drink that I needed at the time.

Yelp
Only ordered through door dash but overall I'd give them a 4.5 out 5 only because of the consistency of the food has been off a bit.

Yelp
This coffeeshop is so convenient, concerning the place and prices! I loveeeee hot apple cider, but the way they made this was sooooo good, probably some of the best cider I've had in a while. The service for dining in was a lil slow on a Sunday morning, but to be fair it was busy. I would definitely recommend this location, as it has everything you'd want on a coffeehouse menu. It also has study rooms and spaces to rent out for meetings!

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta. The owners Rahel and Tafari are the sweetest, most considerate and warm hearted owners you will be around. They make you feel right at home. They play great reggae music and afrobeats that represent their home countries. The food is unbelievable. I've had crossiants, baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, coffee and it's all extremely delicious. My favorite is the lemon chick wrap, but you can't go wrong with the jerk chicken sandwich or the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Perfect space for working with the small private office stations that are free to customers. They even have a larger conference room that I believe is for a short fee for your larger work gatherings. I tell everyone and will continue to tell everyone I meet about Rahel and Tafari and the much needed cultural vibe they've maintain over the years. 15/10 recommended

Yelp
I am so glad I came across this beautiful treasure! The atmosphere, food, and service are top notch! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Unbelievably slow service every time! Even if the place is empty, it takes 30 minutes for a simple take-out sandwich.
