Where To Celebrate Old Fashioned Week in LA | Eater

"The Los Angeles-area mini-chain is a favorite in Pasadena thanks to both its menu and the views from its rooftop bar on Lake Avenue. The Gran Fashioned may be a little more complex than its traditional namesake, but with its mix of Elijah Craig, housemade cherry-vanilla bitters (alongside orange and clove versions), molasses, and port cherry, it still strikes the right balance of sweet and bitter. Grab one and sit at the upstairs bar: The view past the spirits and bartenders is of the San Gabriel Mountains to the north, and it’s stunning, especially in the winter." - Vox Creative

We had such a great evening at Granville. We started upstairs at the rooftop bar — the views of the mountains were incredible, especially as the sun started to set. Great atmosphere up there, relaxed but lively. We ordered the sweet potato fries and a hazy IPA to kick things off — both hit the spot. Later, we moved indoors and back downstairs to catch the happy hour, which was also a win. My wife tried the vegan chicken sandwich and loved it — packed with flavour and surprisingly hearty. The staff were attentive throughout the night, really friendly without being overbearing. You can tell they actually care about creating a good experience. Overall, everything felt really smooth, well-paced, and enjoyable. Granville is definitely one of those spots where you can settle in for the whole evening. Highly recommend both for the food and the vibe.

Unfortunately, google won’t allow a zero-star rating for service, but this location is horrendous. We used to love coming here but I am now revising my prior rating from 5 to 1 stars. Recently, we waited to be seated for lunch for 1.5 hours after being told 20-30 minutes. At minute 45, we asked for an update. We were told 5-10 minutes more. After waiting for another 15 minutes, we asked for an update and were told we’d be seated immediately. We then waited for another 30 minutes without an update. I get it. These things happen. Restaurants get busy. But the lack of updates and the attitude is what makes this experience stand out as particularly bad. This was the tipping point after severally terrible experiences here…

Google
Loved this place! 5 stars for everything, genuinely. The Granville salad was to die for. All of the veggies were crunchy, tasted super fresh, and the dressing was delectable. Not too much or too little, very refreshing!! The Uptown Mac was also delicious, I loved the combination of big macaroni with crunchy peas and the baked layer of gruyere on top. Soooo good. The Taco Trio was also really good, perfect if you want some variety in your dish. Overall, great service and lovely atmosphere. Dinner on the rooftop was such a vibe, the music was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner place!

Google
It’s always nice finding a restaurant where the lively atmosphere means you don’t have to constantly remind your kid to keep their voice down. Granville in Pasadena definitely fits the bill. We brought my parents here for a celebration, and it had a fun, energetic vibe. The restaurant spans three levels, including a rooftop, though we were seated on the first floor—with a lovely view of Dunkin’, haha. The bar area was inviting, with TVs showing the basketball games, adding to the casual yet upscale feel. Our server was kind and patient, which we appreciated. Since we were starving, we ordered our appetizers and entrées all at once. I typically don’t eat beets, but somehow, the beets here were actually good. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, and the currants added a great touch. The Granville salad was more than enough to share, and while the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, I actually preferred the regular fries—the thyme seasoning worked really well. For mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Branzino, Grilled Salmon, Bacon & Blue Burger, and Santa Barbara Chicken Sandwich, while I went with the Chipotle Chicken Club. The sandwiches come sliced in half, and my wife ended up liking mine more than hers… so I guess you could say my better half took my better half. Since we were celebrating, our server surprised us with two complimentary ice cream desserts, which was a really thoughtful touch. The menu is extensive, so I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back, but with so many great spots in Pasadena, I’m not sure it’ll be at the top of my list. That said, I’m glad we tried it, and I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a solid dining experience.

Google
Very lovely brunch on the rooftop. The best thing I had was the almond scone. It was buttery and at an elegant flavor that was not overpowering. I had the rosé cocktail. It was delicious and pretty strong, so get your money's worth. And finally the village breakfast was a good portion. If you go on a Sunday, then the parking is free. I definitely highly recommend getting there when they open between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. Otherwise you'll have a long wait.

Google
The best dining experience. Rooftop area was awesome at night. And the food here was incredible. Ordered the beef stroganoff and the house potato chips. Would definitely return!

Google
Very cool place to have a drink under the sun! I went there by myself but this is a great place to social as the restaurant has a roof top dinning and big indoor area. The only thing is the restroom can use more attention

I want to thank Sami for her excellent service which made our visit extremely pleasant. We were there celebrating a very special birthday and she was friendly, enthusiastic and made recommendations on the selection of food. We ended up choosing the spicy pasta with shrimp, poke bowl, and sweet potato fries. The ice cream dessert was very yummy. She made sure that our needs are met. Unfortunately the rooftop was not open due to the air quality, but we still had a good time and will go back again and try the rooftop experience. Thank you Sami.

Yelp
Friendly service, Matt was great. Ambiance was warm. Food was delicious. The spicy pasta with chicken was comforting, creamy, and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were a highlight, with currants that added a nice sweet touch to each savory bite. The California cocktail was refreshing, and the other cocktails were enjoyable as well. I look forward to returning

Yelp
I've been here with my girlfriends before when they first opened. It's a really cute spot to have a drink twitch the girls or a date night with the hubby! This was the first time my husband and I went during brunch & lunch. We both ordered from the lunch menu. My husband got the village and I got the chipotle chicken sandwich. We opted for the sweet potato fries and the Granville salad. My husband said that the village was the best burger he has had in a long time (without cheese too). The garlic aioli was delicious! The chicken chipotle sandwich included a thick chicken breast that was tender and juicy! I enjoyed the few bites I had. I was full off their side Granville salad. ( I am pregnant so my portions are significantly smaller in this last trimester) Leslie was our waitress and she was tentative but also let us enjoy our meal without interruption. We got my sandwich to go as there was still 3/4 of it left. We made a silly mistake by leaving our Togo box on the table as we left. We didn't realize until about 35 minutes later, so we went back since we were still in the area. I went to talk to Leslie and she said that the food had already been discarded. I was so upset. Though I know it was our fault, I asked if there was anything they could do for us. It was an $18 sandwich that was practically thrown away. Her gesture to ask her supervisor made me so appreciative of her service because she could have just left it at 'the food was thrown away'. They made me a new sandwich and I was really grateful. Thank you Leslie, I appreciate you so much! This kind of service, act of kindness definitely makes us forever customers. Thank you Granville!

Yelp
Very Trendy, very spirited, full of hobnob energy Restaurant with the MOST DELICIOUS BURGERS you will ever taste! It will melt beautifully in your Mouth. COURTESY if this very Handsome, muy GUAPO, muy Amable, muy simpatico Manager named EDUARDO. Along with the sweet and kind, lovely darling Amal. Anyway, in it there are three Big rooms to accomodate people that "Brunch". And Its def a place to be seen. A bunch of Goodlooking men that work in finance haha Kidding. Not really lol but def a social events type of lookin place. The main hall, I call it that due to the fact that its very tall with High ceilings making it look almost Palacial with stairs to which you can Grandly descend like a Princess lol. They also Boast a lil rooftop mezzanine dining on the third floor complete with an Elevator. Quite charming and warm patio luncheon feels up there. Luxurious right? Finally the third room which looks very Cafe-ish. Also darling but more casual. All in all I had a really Great Time due to my rapport with Eduardo. Hes so CHARMING lol And he made sure to make my ORDER well done to absolute PERFECTION! Im very satisfied and fulfilled with my Amazing and fabulous Blue Cheese Bacon Cheeseburger. Thank You Eduardo and Amal. Two most ELEGANT Managers.

Yelp
It was our first time visiting and I can guarantee you we will be back! We had a rooftop dinner and the ambiance was just great. We loved the cozy feeling with the way the tables were set up and we kept warm with their huge outdoor heaters. We were lucky that we sat near the fireplace and that kept us cozy. The service was very friendly and our server kept checking in on us. We started with their sautéed mushrooms and butter lettuce cups, both delicious. My hubby and I had the AAAAHHHHMAZING Pepita Crusted Rainbow Trout and I could not stop raving with each bite! Our friends had 2 different salads and they were very happy with them. We enjoyed a couple of French Martinis and of course ended the night with dessert. We WILL be back!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night, had to wait about 45 minutes for a table since the rooftop was closed that night. Once we got the text that our table was ready, my girlfriend and I were promptly seated. I ordered the thick pork chop, while my girlfriend got the skirt steak, and we shared the sweet potato fries. The thick pork chop was a large portion, and I really liked the cran-mango compote that complemented the cajun rub of the pork. The spinach that came with the dish was a bit over salted in my opinion, but the mashed potatoes were just right. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and the blue cheese dipping sauce was the best sauce to pair with the fries. My girlfriend really liked her skirt steak as well and it was at a medium rare for her as she requested. Service was good as well and our server periodically checked in on us that we were good. A little pricey and a bit of a wait, but overall, a good experience. 4.5/5

Yelp
First timer! Great food and service. The ambiance is very sheik and modern. They have a third floor that feels like you're somewhere else. Definitely will come back again. From the decor to the food it's refreshing. The half chicken tastes as fresh as it can be. Not pictured are the brussel sprouts which were amazing. Give them a try if you haven't already.

Yelp
First time at Granville and it was great. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Love the rooftop, it can be chilly, bring a jacket just in case. The squash soup was bomb and the drinks were good as well. Nice place for a date night or girls night.

Yelp
Returned to Granville again a year later to celebrate a personal milestone. It has been HOT this past week, so the rooftop bar is closed. The restaurant doesn't accept reservations, so expect a wait. Walking around Lake Ave really does help kill time! Service as usual was really good. George tended to me and my bf when we dined in. He periodically checked in with us. I know he tried to get us to order dessert, but we were too full. Next time George, but nice try lol. Shortbread is still a personal fav from the first time I dined in. My partner ordered himself a porkchop and I got myself a skirt steak at medium rare. The pork was cooked well and wasn't dry. The cranberry mango compote elevated it and it was like a fancier Thanksgiving meal. Skirt steak was bomb.com - perfect medium rare, tender, and nicely seasoned. We had sweet potato fries to share that came with three condiments. The blue cheese aoli was a fav. Ya did it again Granville.

Yelp
Talk about VIBES! The rooftop area is stunning, I can only imagine the views at sunset! Came here for a quick lunch meeting. Opted for the ginger salad, did not disappoint! Lots of flavor and wasn't expecting the peanuts and chunks of mango. Service was fantastic! I can't wait to come back for a few cocktails at sunset!

Yelp
Such a beautiful spot! The ambiance was perfect for catching up with the girlies over brunch. From the decor to the delicious bites, everything was on point. Definitely a place to try for brunch! Come early if you want rooftop seating! People were already lined up before the place even opened to ask for that area!

Yelp
Had to take one of my besties to Granville for a Friday night drink and dinner! While the inside and rooftop had quite the wait (as expected), we were able to snag a bar seat on the outdoor patio. The dirty vodka martinis were tasty, not too much vermouth! The Granville salad with chicken was the perfect balance of lettuce, toppings, and protein. Can't wait for next time!

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday with a gf of mine, it was super busy (6pm) so we opted for the bar section. It wasn't long before the server greeted us with menus. I had the nitro espresso martini (5/5) & I tried my friends pineapple margarita which was spicy & refreshing (4/5). Soon after the server checked on us and we placed our orders. We both got a cheeseburger .. unfortunately they switched our medium rare/ medium well burgers but we quickly realized and switched, nbd. The server was very attentive even for being peak dining hours. This place is a little pricey for a burger, but worth it for the one time. We split our bill which was 50$ each (not including tip). The bar reminds me of a cool library setting, it was definitely more of an upscale bar. I'll be back tho, I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yelp
Very nice place to eat out or have a gathering with friends! Had 3 levels of seating and was able to get seated within 15 minutes even though estimated was 30-40 minutes! Inside was very aesthetic and lively. Got the wagyu sandwich which was a little small I can't lie, but tasted good. Got chips but was given a salad instead, but no big deal since I enjoy salad too. Tried the pancakes which were great as well with the syrup. Had 2 TVs at the bar and overall would definitely be back!

Yelp
I went with friends visiting me and we had a wonderful rooftop experience. Wonderful setting with a beautiful sunset in the background. The service was good. I wish that they took reservations because there was no comfortable place to sit and wait on our table. The food was fantastic.

Yelp
Came here for a weekend brunch and was satisfied with my experience here! All of the food was tasty and filling. I really enjoyed Pumpkin Spice Hotcakes and the Chilaquiles especially as they had somewhat of a unique twist to them- creamier and more rich in flavor although they still had a slightly spicy and zesty taste to them which I enjoyed. The drinks were great as well (Strawberry Fields) and I loved the location as it was very close to other cool spots in Pasadena.

Yelp
Okay so, I've had two enjoyable experiences at Granville so I'm not ready to forget about it for good, but I certainly am disappointed with my most recent visit :( I saw that it was participating in Restaurant Week and was excited to try dishes here that I haven't tried yet. Among them was the Uptown Mac and Cheese. My issue with this is that the menu is missing chicken as a listed ingredient. I don't eat meat, so I thought this dish was safe for me to eat. Since chicken wasn't listed as an ingredient for the mac and cheese, I assumed it was veggie-friendly. Nope, wrong. When I got my mac and cheese, there was a good amount of chicken in it. I had to scoop out as many pieces of it as I could and even then, some smaller bits of it still made it into my mouth as I ate. It made for a poor experience. The waiter noticed I took out the chicken and offered to make me a new bowl, but I didn't want to make the kitchen go through that trouble so I declined. He also chuckled and acknowledged that their Restaurant Week menu doesn't state it has chicken. When he brought the other dish in my meal, he joked that it was chicken-free. I found that annoying but politely laughed anyway. It's so negligent for Granville to fail to list this as an ingredient in the mac and cheese.

Yelp
Came here Sun at 1:30P and waited about ~30 min to get seated. The hosts provided accurate wait times. Interior is super cute and I'd want to check out the bar next time! My mom is vegetarian so I appreciate there were a lot of options. Food and presentation was solid -- I liked the farmhouse beets and longevity salad the most. The tempeh in the poblano quinoa didn't have much taste and thought the heirloom burrata dish was missing something. Overall I'd come back here again to try their brunch or dinner menu!

Yelp
Granville in Pasadena is a great spot In Pasadena. The upstairs bar has a cool vibe, and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend

Yelp
Cute fun place to go for date night or out with the girls. I got the salmon and mashed potatoes, always a hit. Service was quick, I was in and out within an hour.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday around 11am and there were plenty of tables available on ground level and rooftop. We sat rooftop even though it was 90° but it wasn't too bad. Above each table is a fan so it helped with the heat. We ordered 3 of the top dishes: Poke Bowl, Pork Chop, Spicy Pasta. Everything was delicious. The poke bowl was vibrant, full of flavor and SO fresh. I wish I could eat this every week. Now I am on a mission go recreate this dish at home! The pork chop was juicy and the spicy pasta did not disappoint. For drinks we ordered the mint matcha latte and I had to stop myself from drinking it too quickly. It had just the right about of mint, matcha, oat milk and agave. Wish they provided refills! Parking in the back lot is free for 90 minutes.

Yelp
The ambience of this place is worth going for alone. The food is fresh with a plethora of choices. We came twice for their restaurant week menu. It was a good deal at $45 per person for dinner and included a drink (including wine) and a dessert. I loved the salmon dish and it paired wonderfully with the chocolate cake. All the salads I've had here have been delicious. The best part is the rooftop seating!

Yelp
I recently dined at Granville Restaurant in Pasadena, CA, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and modern, with a cozy yet upscale feel that sets the perfect tone for a great meal. The service at Granville was welcoming and friendly. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated on the rooftop to enjoy the Sunday afternoon sun. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Granville offers a fantastic variety of options to suit every palate. We shared a variety of dishes, and all were made with high-quality ingredients, flavorful, and simply delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste of the food truly sets Granville apart. Overall, my experience at Granville Restaurant in Pasadena was outstanding. Great ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the area.

Yelp
Granville has been our go to place since they first opened in Glendale at the Americana (so bummed they left that location). But this Pasadena location on Lake is beautiful!! It even has a rooftop outdoor area. So gorgeous! Our awesome waiter was Joe and his service was amazing. It's been a while since we have had great service, so you notice when you have an attentive and upbeat waiter / waitress. We both had the chipotle chicken club with some fries. Super yummy. The aioli is a tiny bit spicy so if you're not into spice so much, just ask for it on the side or none. We had awesome Allagash beer and Moscow mules. Both drinks hit the spot. And between the nice subtle breeze on the rooftop and the great service that Joe provided my hubs and I had a great time! I just forgot to take pics of the entrees.
google avatar

Amasia Y.

Yelp
I'm so upset that they have changed the menu. It's just not the same anymore :/ you could count the fries with your fingers. I wonder if management or ownership has changed. This place used to be our favorite place to go to anytime we were indecisive about where to eat. Idk if I'd go back again.
google avatar

Mike N.

Yelp
Eaten here twice with parties smaller than 5. I thought the ambience and food was great. However, more recently trying to book reservations for larger parties have been restrictive. Called with the intention of reserving a table of 10 for birthday dinner ON A MONDAY night. I was told I need a need a minimum of 12 people and the maximum seating on the rooftop is eight. restrictions seem a little silly . Certainly dont come across this type of thing at other establishments along Lake Ave. if it's because of some kind of building or operating code unique to their spot I understand. they don't seem to be flexible or accommodating in this regard, no solution no explanations.
google avatar

Drew L.

Yelp
Located in Pasadena, we requested the rooftop because the beautiful weather of SoCal. The weather didn't disappoint but the food did. Nothing special about our dishes and my chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless. Other dishes were not impressive, only average. The place was crowded due to the location and experience. Not worth it.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
I loveee granville! Since my first visit here, the rooftop dining area has had my heart. However, the indoor ambiance is just as relaxing and beautiful. Get here early to try to nab a spot upstairs around sunset, and you're in for a good time. The food is also delicious and great prices for the amount of food you get. It's a great date spot or even just for girls night out/a friend catch up as you can be casual or dressy. Some of my all time favorites are the thick cut pork chop, grilled salmon, brussels sprouts, soups/bisques, and wagyu beef stroganoff. Will definitely be back to get more of my favorites and try new things :)

Yelp
Celebrated my 29th bday with friends tonight. 2nd time at this location, 1st time for dinner and wow! Nothing but great things to say. First off, while we waited they offered to refrigerate my cake. The ambiance, service, food quality truly unmatched. I can't wait to come again. Myself and my whole party were blown away. I had the wagyu stroganoff, others had the wagyu steak Sammy, potato chips, both fries, bread & butter, lettuce wraps Everything was perfect. My pasta was an out of body experience haha The crafted cocktails were divine and presented beautifully. Thank you to the kind and attentive staff

Yelp
We wanted to meet some friends for lunch. We both live opposite directions of Los Angeles County so we picked a mid-point (Pasadena). Granville was one of the many choices we had to choose from. We weren't disappointed. This restaurant has both outdoor/ indoor seating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. The staff was great!. We had the pleasure of having Aidan as our waiter. We were never left wanting anything. He was fantastic with our order and requests. We definitely will be back here when we want to meet some friends for lunch.

Yelp
Awesome place. We were on our way back to PHX from BAKO and due to food allergies we like to find a good spot to eat! Taijz was great and all over it! Fast, prompt and well beyond professional! We had the Tacos and Pancakes... GF and 100% amazing. We will be back... give it a try!

Yelp
This place is really nice , the ambiance is great, they have upstairs and downstairs however when we got there they were full upstairs, so we sat by the bar . The service was great .

Yelp
This has always been a super busy restaurant. Expect to wait at least an hour for either lunch or dinner. I tried the wagyu burgers here for the first time and was not a big fan. The bacon & blue burger is much better than the village burger. However, both burgers were cold and the patties were not flavorful. The village burger barely had any garlic aioli in it. The bacon & blue burger was at least good enough beceause of the caramelized onions and mushrooms, which added a yummy flavor. All burgers will come with potato chips unless you pay extra for a substitute. It currently costs $3 extra for regular fries and $3.50 for sweet potato fries. A bit pricey since they only give a small portion. For a soup, I would recommend the butternut squash soup. It was creamy and delicious with lots of cranberries that added a slight sweetness. Next time I would just stay away from the burgers and order other dishes. Granville is a great place for grabbing drinks. I can see why the bar here is so popular. They have so many options ranging from cocktails to wine and beer. I enjoyed the palomita cocktail. This is made up of mezcal, grapefruit, kaffir lime, and brown sugar. The alcohol did not taste too strong in it, which is exactly how I like it.
google avatar

Niki D.

Yelp
This place is a staple in my book. It kind of reminds me of a fancier and less generic Cheesecake Factory. I think anything you decide to get at this place would be good and the service is also fantastic.
google avatar

Isada A.

Yelp
The tacos and spicy half chicken were delicious and freshly made, but the Bacon Blue burger and Wagyu Beef Stroganoff were mouth-watering. We subbed out the original sauce for the burger with the garlic aioli, but that was a personal choice. Those two latter items were by far, our favorites from this lunch. But if you're looking for something lighter, then we recommend the Taco Trio. The service was also amazing and we felt well-taken care of despite the packed restaurant. The ambiance was a little on the louder side, but it was peak time after all, and it was perfect for catching up with friends over some good food and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Put my name on the waiting list and waited about 15 minutes... We were seated on the 3rd floor. It was pretty hot so the atmosphere wasn't as good as we expected to be... not their fault.. considering it was a hot day. Ordered their sweet potato fries along with their Cheeseburger. Both items tasted pretty good. The meat patty was tasty and thick.. even though the server asked how I wanted the burger cooked, it still came out well done.. Overall, it was an OK experience... will give this place another chance and probably will ask to be seated inside where there's AC..

Yelp
Ambiance - I really liked the ambiance in here! Very calming vibe Service - our waiter was phenomenal and our server was very attentive 10/10 Food - the Ahi Filet was the star of the show that night for me. Super good!

Yelp
If you're walking around Pasadena and want to grab a quick drink you've come to the right place! It's an excellent restaurant with well made cocktails. Come grab drinks with a date or significant other! Make sure you go on the 2nd floor for the views!

Yelp
Love this place, solid menu with good amount of options. Not overly priced but food was nice presentation and very fresh. Overall good service. Really enjoyed the skirt steak and grilled mushrooms. I ordered the green juice but would have been better without ice. Street or lot parking (first 90 mins free). Indoor/ outdoor open restaurant and rooftop.

Yelp
I have seen this place a couple times when I pass by Burbank downtown, but finally got the chance this time! Our server's service is top-notch! He recommends us his 2 favorite & popular menu: angel hair or shrimp pasta and the thick cute pork chop! The pork chop is SO TENDER, SO JUICY.. the grill marks & crust is the best thing of the pork chop, i think. The Angel hair is my mom's favorite ; it's very light , fresh, and salty! Will I come back? YES definitely

Yelp
My family came here for a celebration and was impressed we had to try !! We sat in bar area Wow what a set up bottles of liquor all the way up the wall to ceiling!! The service was great only thing we forgot the waiter name maybe Joseph or Robert So sorry He was helpful with ordering and offered my husband an alcohol free beer which we never heard of and was delicious !! Food was great and we will be back Hurry get down there you will have a great time !!!

Yelp
Solid every time. Nice ambiance, not too loud, all dining spaces good. Outside with the dog - check Roof top with friends- check Bar Space - check (good for dining when too long of a wait for a table) And today, ground floor inside dining room for lunch, very nice. Loved the soup! Our server, Robert was attentive and checked on us. Great service. He even brought out the $10 souvenir spoon that made me curious to see it when I saw it on the menu!

Yelp
Definitely surprising reasonably priced for the upscale ambiance. The menu is superb with all it selections even the most pickiest eater will be able to find something to satisfy them. The staff is lively and welcoming. If you are looking for roof top dinning with great food and attentive staff. Look no further than this Grand dinning experience at Granville. P.S. The experience was so captivating with the food and company, I took no pictures.

Yelp
Good for drinks and appetizers, especially nice on the rooftop at sunset. The entrees were meh. The service was not great - had to wait to be seated even though there were a lot of open tables. The happy hour is only available at the bar area. We tried to just order at the bar and they ignored us

Yelp
My wife and I sat at the bar yesterday and had a combination of incredible food and great service. We had the artisan bread (two orders because it was amazing), the beet salad, the thick-cut pork chop, the rainbow trout and the flourless chocolate cake. Best pork chop I've ever had. Incredibly juicy. Maybe most importantly, we weren't rushed at all. My wife is pregnant so we aren't drinking at the moment which I know sometimes frustrates bartenders when you're sitting at the bar. We were really able to enjoy our experience. Thank you!

Yelp
Our server China provided wonderful service! I went in for the pasta but she informed me that the pasta is not Celiac Disease friendly. Reason being the GFree noodles are cooked in the same water as the regular noodles. This information was SO appreciated! The Poblano Quinoa Bowl with Blackened Salmon was delicious! I felt the meal was delicious, filling, and nutritious. It was a nice ambiance and a good place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or a friend meet up.

Yelp
I am in love with Granville Pasadena! I have been to a couple of other locations and this one is by far my favorite! The girls and I met up here for a Saturday brunch and had the best time! We arrived just before they opened (before 10:30 am) and were seated right away; it was also the perfect time because they get packed pretty quickly! They also have a rooftop dining area but we didn't get to check it out since it was closed (probably from the rain). We drank mimosas and shared a few shareable items including French toast, wagyu tacos, chilaquiles and a few sides. The portions were just enough for a light brunch. Overall a super cute place for brunch with the girls or even a day date or date night. The best part is, there's plenty of parking in the back! It's literally one of the best things about Pasadena.

Yelp
Heather, our server, was TOP NOTCH! Initially the hostess said the rooftop space was completely booked.. NOT! Went to the bar and Heather got us a table and took care of us. I had the salmon and my boo had the branzino. Both were 9/10. The rooftop was chill and great ambiance. I'll be back

Yelp
First time here. We were celebrating my mom's 80th birthday and decided to try a local place in Pasadena . The place was amazing and the decor was very relaxed and beautiful. The service was great! We had a great server named Michael. The pictures don't do justice to how delicious the food was. Very fresh and made exactly how we ordered it.
