13 Best Old Fashioned Cocktails to Drink in LA | Eater

"Upscale but unpretentious, Granville puts an emphasis on using artisanal and fresh ingredients in its food menu — so it should be no surprise that the cocktail menu is no different. The Gran Old Fashioned is an updated version on the classic, made with Elijah Craig Small Batch bourbon, a port cherry syrup, and from-scratch cherry vanilla bitters (which, wow). Granville’s laidback atmosphere means you can settle in for an Old Fashioned or two along with some shareable plates. The Gran Old Fashioned would go perfect with the grilled cheese dipper." - Vox Creative

Adorable spot with great food and service. We came here after shopping for the day and my party was not disappointed. The cocktails were wonderfully inventive and the food was delicious. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was top tier. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Food is really really just okay. Had better Brussels sprouts, here is simply straight up sour. The beet salad was also tooooo sour, I just had beet salad from Water Grill and it was 1000 times better. After these two appetizers, I had stomachache… literally. The dry aged branzino was really really dry….. Skirt steak was fine, of everything I ordered, I’d say the best was the butternut squash soup. Service is superb and the atmosphere is awesome too. Will NOT recommend though.

What can I say. I tried delivery. Steak, perfect mid-rare, tender, marinade was perfect. Homemade potato chips were thick cut and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The best I have had since the trend started actually. Spinach, picked at the right time. Seasoned just right. Thick, meaty shrimp. We were surprised that they were jumbo shrimp. Wasabi mashed potatoes were creamy with just the right about of "heat". This place is ridiculous! LOLLLL. I'm going to take my family there for an in person meal.

We had a great experience at Granville. The location itself is great, very open with plenty of tables. Parking can be a bit tricky if you don’t want to do valet. Theg do have a big menu for drinks and cocktails. We ordered a few shareables that were super good. The bread & butter was really good - soft and crispy. Brussel sprouts were great and grilled mushrooms as well. Special mention to the sweet potato fries that were amazing: crispy exactly how you need them. We also got a few main plates. I got the ahi fillet with soba noodles and it was great. The wasabi sauce on the side was really nice to add. And, overall I loved it! Great experience!

Google
Nice looking place. Got the superfood salad. Added vegan chicken which was super bland. I mean, grill it or something. Tasted microwaved from frozen. Food wasn’t ready for pickup at provided time in app, despite it being very quiet inside.

Google
This restaurant is a real gem, and the bar is absolutely top-notch! The cocktails are creative, perfectly balanced, and made with high-quality ingredients. The bartenders really know their craft and are happy to recommend something based on your taste. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed — a great spot whether you're out with friends or on a date. The food is also delicious, making it the perfect place to enjoy both dinner and drinks. I always have a great time here and can't wait to come back!

The food was really good, I order a cheeseburger and it was excellent . Service was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Google
Wow, I love this place! Such a clean menu! Lots of organic, non-gmo, antibiotic free meats, etc. Love to see it. Almost everything could be done gluten free or plant based too, which was also a rarity. The restaurant was sparkling and the people were brilliant. Wish I could remember our server’s name, because he was absolutely wonderful. Definitely loud, but not horribly loud. Nice valet guys too. The dining room is bright and airy, but chilly at night since it’s open to the outdoors in places. The Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries were terrific table starters. The pork chop was divine, the burgers were perfectly cooked, and the spicy pasta had a huge portion. Great prices, big portions, and healthy feel-good yet tasty food. An unbeatable combination!

Yelp
We came here on our last night in LA before starting the long drive back home, and wow--what an incredible way to end the trip! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell the staff here really take pride in making every guest feel at home. The food? Absolutely A1. Every dish we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection--seasoned beautifully, fresh ingredients, and plated in a way that showed care and detail. You can taste the quality in every bite. Portions were generous, flavors were spot on, and everything came out hot and exactly as we ordered. It's rare to find a place that nails both food and service, but this restaurant does it effortlessly. The team worked seamlessly together, checking in just the right amount without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was comfortable yet vibrant--perfect for enjoying a memorable meal. I can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in LA, and it left us talking about it the entire drive home. We'd absolutely recommend this spot to anyone--locals or visitors alike--and will 100% be coming back the next time we're in the area. A true gem!

Yelp
We love coming to Granville the service is always great, and my girlfriend and I especially enjoy their happy hour. Louise is an amazing bartender! Super attentive and welcoming every time we're here. That said, the music really needs an upgrade. It's always the same playlist, and honestly, it's kind of a vibe killer. We've been to other locations, and it feels like the music should be more flexible or at least rotated more often. A little change would go a long way!

Yelp
Had the BEST brunch at Granville with a friend! From start to finish, the experience was perfect. We started with the grilled cheese dippers (such a fun and delicious appetizer!) and some great drinks -- seriously, they make a fantastic cocktail here. For our entrees, we had the breakfast tacos and the salmon with eggs and potatoes, and both dishes were absolutely spot on -- flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. But honestly, the highlight of the entire experience was our waiter. He was amazing -- super friendly, knowledgeable, and really took his time with us. He even showed us pictures of menu items to help us decide, which was such a nice touch. This place is definitely going on my go‑to list for brunch. Great food, great drinks, and truly outstanding service!

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me this long to try out Granville! So glad that I did!!! First, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Our server, Ken was OUTSTANDING! Literally made the experience perfect! The food was delicious. Ken suggested we try the Beef Stroganoff and it didn't disappoint. We also had the Mac n Cheese, Cesar salad (chopped) and the Pork Chop entree. The pork chop was the star of the show! Let me just say the portions are big! For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake which was probably the best I've had. The Restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. There's indoor and outdoor seating & I love that you can make reservations. We easily found a parking spot on the street. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Took the client from New York to Granville, sat in a booth and had another great meal with great service. I ordered the Spring Chicken antibiotic/hormone-free chicken (plant-based chicken option available), seasonal berries, gorgonzola, candied pecans, red onion, and caramel vinaigrette salad. I took half home and had the rest for dinner. I've never had a bad meal and my guests have always loved the large and spacious interior and the fresh food served here.

Yelp
Great location, beautiful inside and very clean. Which is a huge plus. Our server had multiple tables as they seemed short and she was still able to handle everything with a smile on her face. We ordered the fish branzino, cheeseburger and fries and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Brussels spouts were so good I almost got some to go lol Huge selection of foods to choose from. I love that this place is across the street from my job. I will be back again.
google avatar

Jordan S.

Yelp
This place is located perfectly on the corner of the street, found easy street parking. Had the Brussels sprouts (incredible!) plus shared a burger which was also phenomenal. The food took a while to come out, we sat there waiting for the appetizers for over 17 minutes. Then once we ate, it also took forever to waive down the server to bring us our check and get it all Paid. Again, I definitely recommend this spot for the food because it was on pointe, but the service was very slow.

Yelp
Atmosphere: They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was very nice! Lots of seating and a bar area as well. We made reservations however it wasn't needed on a Thursday night, more than enough seating available. Service: Our server was very nice, he made sure to check on us and do his job. The host was also very nice! Food & Drink: We ordered a burger and the pasta. The angel hair pasta was divine, I would come back just for the pasta. We also had a couple drinks, tipsy lemonade and espresso martini, which were a bit on the smaller side but was just as you'd expect them to taste. Granville has a few locations so I would definitely love to try the other ones as well

Paris S.

Yelp
I honestly don't understand how people gave this place 4 or 5 stars--it feels more based on emotion than on the actual experience. We ordered a "classic burger with a big plate" for lunch, and despite being called a big plate, it only came with oily green beans. The rainbow trout was the same--just covered in oil!!!! The service was awful. The servers never looked our way, and my friend had to wait 10 minutes before she finally flagged someone down just to get a sauce. The burger itself was very basic, something you could get outside for $13, yet we ended up paying $82 (with tip) for nothing special. To top it off, when we asked about parking at the beginning, they just told us to "read the signs" instead of offering any real help--even though we're locals. Overall, very disappointing.

Yelp
Awesome dinner with delicious cocktails & menu selections. We had the Ahi & cheeseburger. The Manager gave us complimentary butternut squash soup & our server, Trevor was nice to send us free sundae since the kitchen added special sauce in burger when we ordered on the side. There is valet parking & ambience was nice.

Yelp
Absolutely loved visiting this Granville location! Not only was the food incredible and came out fast, but our server KC was FANTASTIC!! He set the tone for our experience as soon as we walked in and served us with enthusiasm and a spirit of excellence! Will definitely visit this location again!

Yelp
My friends and I went to Granville (located in West Hollywood "WeHo") in December 2024. Super late review. On their website - "Granville is a collection of modern casual neighborhood restaurants specializing in wholesome hand-crafted recipes and libations. With warm hospitality, good vibes, and globally inspired food and music. We are a culture, not a concept." Their food is known for "organic & local greens, certified humane beef & chicken, antibiotic / hormone free chicken, beef, pork, and salmon, non-gmo vegetables & cooking oil, no hfcs" (high fructose corn syrup). We tried their hummus, salmon, steak, wagyu burger, and chocolate cake. Food was delicious. Vibes were great. Service was excellent! ENJOY!!

Yelp
Stopped for a meal while in the area. Didn't have reservations, but still was able to get seated very quickly even for brunch time. Really enjoyed the breakfast platter with the sausage. They had great flavor. The potatoes were also very yummy and wish I had a bigger portion. My guest really enjoyed their pancakes. The menu offers a lot and something for everyone whether they want breakfast food or something more lunchy. A great place to visit by yourself, with friends, or family.

Yelp
Had dinner at Granville and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the Thick Cut Pork Chop and the Classic Cheeseburger with Fries, and both were solid -- but the pork chop definitely stole the spotlight. The Thick Cut Pork Chop was cooked perfectly -- juicy with a great char, and topped with this sweet chutney that paired really well with the smoky, savory pork. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery, and the greens added a nice touch of freshness. Easily my favorite bite of the night. The Classic Cheeseburger hit the spot too -- nothing fancy, just a good, solid burger with all the essentials: toasted sesame bun, melted cheese, fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, pickles. The fries were crispy and served in a little metal cup, which is always a nice touch. Service was friendly and quick, and I always love the vibe here. Relaxed but polished -- perfect for dinner with friends or a casual date night. Definitely coming back for that pork chop.

Yelp
I ate here with friends before a show at The Roxy. I'm a very indecisive person and asked the person waiting on us if she could recommend between Spicy Pasta or the Ahi. She said Ahi was a personal fave so I went with that. It was to-die-for! Holy cow! I absolutely loved my food! I got thru all the fish and most of the noodles and it was so savory and I was so full. One friend ordered the tacos and the other ordered the wagyu stroganoff. They were completely happy with their dishes. We all left with full bellies and happy taste buds. The service was fantastic. We were late for our reservation and they accommodated us just fine with a great table. Parking wasn't an issue. We went on a Sunday. It was a great experience beginning to end. I hope to return.

Yelp
Came here as a party of four on a Sunday evening. TIP: Make a reservation whenever you can, even if it's just an hour before you arrive. It's super easy to book through Yelp, and it made our dinner seamless--meanwhile, walk-ins had to wait an hour for a table. Ambiance The restaurant has a really cool interior design. I think you would call it Art Deco? It definitely gives off Great Gatsby vibes, and I am here for it. The mood lighting is lovely, though a bit too dark in some areas--I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. Overall, this would be a really cute date spot and a great excuse to dress up a little! From a quick glance around, I'd say the crowd was about 60/40--most people dressed casually, but some went all out and looked amazing. Food Grilled cheese sandwich appetizer - The favorite of the table. A small and simple dish, but done really well. Chicken soup - Also a skip. It literally tasted like Cup Noodles broth. Pork dish - TO DIE FOR. I've had this dish three times, and it always hits. The pork is tender and juicy, and it pairs perfectly with the mashed potatoes. Beef with wasabi mashed potatoes - I thought this was really good! The wasabi mashed potatoes were a fun twist, and the steak was cooked really well. Blue cheese burger - This bad boy is a juicy, dripping mess--but in the best way. If you're hesitant about blue cheese, you might want to skip it. It's not overpowering, but the flavor is definitely there. One person in our group doesn't love blue cheese but still enjoyed the burger! Angel hair pasta - Skip this. The server recommended it, but after tasting it, I completely lost faith in her recommendations. Because angel hair pasta is so thin, it felt mushy when eating, and the seasoning was bland. Huge miss on both flavor and texture. Ice cream split This is pretty big and definitely shareable between 4. The banana have a creme brulee like topping that was a fun addition to the dessert! It was really good and decadent! Definitely a bit too much food with how much we ordered at dinner! Service The hostess was super nice and professional, but our server was a little lackluster. She forgot about us a couple of times, though not enough to ruin the experience. Overall I'd recommend this spot if you're in the mood for American-style food and a great vibe!

Delilah M.

Yelp
Absolutely scrumptious! Terrific ambience, excellent service, worth every penny! We've decided that this is to be our weekly treat. The sole peeve would be the music which was too loud and not enjoyable to listen to. Otherwise, perfection.

Aisha G.

Yelp
The food & vibes here are really good. When I went last weekend for my pre birthday celebration I had a good time. The drinks are tasty and our server was very attentive. You can also tell that they use healthier food products. The steak I had was very good and it had chimichuri sauce on it which gave it flavor. My friend ordered the burger which is also a must try and the bread/butter is bomb too.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my first time eating here - we decided to go for lunch. We shared a grilled cheese dipper with tomato bisque, and I asked for the waitress recommendation, she raved about the Wagyu rustic steak sandwich. And my girlfriend got a, Greenville shrimp salad. Amazing dishes and can't wait to go back and try some of the dinner plates. Grilled Cheese Dippers 9/10 Wagyu Steak Sandwich 8/10 Granville Shrimp Salad 8/10 We had a corner table, ultra cells, and that's some really nice people around us who also ordered the same dishes. Our hostess was very polite and offered great service. Plenty of street/meter parking and they also offer valet
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
I've been to this Granville a few times now, and it's been great every time! The parking can be a little tricky, there's one street beside the restaurant that has metered parking, but WeHo is mostly permit parking. They do have a valet though if you ever have a hard time finding any spots. The restaurant has a clean and upscale vibe but isn't stuffy or trying to do too much. The hostesses and servers are all very nice and attentive. To drink, I got the Last Word and my partner got the Ginger Julep. I've tried a few drinks from here and have loved them all, I honestly don't think you can go wrong. To eat, I've always ordered the spicy pasta with plant-based chicken, it's amazing, the seasonings are perfect and it's spicy without being too much. The plant based chicken is also a wonderful option for vegetarians and vegans.

Yelp
TLDR; refreshing cocktails, tasty bites to eat- with friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere The brunch cocktails are refreshing, I got the blackberry basil which was perfectly balanced. The sour cocktail was nice as well but is very sour and dry for flavor of cocktail. The tomato soup is a balance bowl, while the breakfast tacos dipped in the sauce are a perfect starter. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and perfectly filling, the onions give it a sweeter flavor so beware of your prefer more savory over sweet. The steak and eggs were also very flavorful, my favorite park of the breakfast is the potato's which are packed with seasoning. Our server was a very kind gentleman who was patient with our questions and helped us explore the menu. The price point is also perfect for everything you get.

Yelp
Great Happy Hour! Went around 4:30 pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. Immediately greeted by the staff. Ordered several things off the happy hour menu and all were outstanding. In town for a concert at Hollywood Bowl and was fun place to start. Cocktails had Gran Fashioned and Tipsy Lemonade, both were well balanced. Food was great and came out fast. Burger was well cooked and juicy. Mac and cheese was good and not to gooey. Brussel sprouts were my favorite, I don't know what it was dressed with but was excellent.
google avatar

Shawnie P.

Yelp
I haven't stopped talking about this place since I visited. So much delicious food that I really enjoyed and wish they had this chain where I live in south Florida. I'd be here at least once a week if I could. First, let's talk about the decor. This restaurant is beautiful top to bottom. Stunning. The service was great. I ordered the chicken noodle soup as my appetizer. Listen, this may sound crazy, but you need to try this soup. I've never had chicken noodle soup like this, best I've ever had or thought I ever would have. Wow. We also got the Artisan bread appetizer, which was phenomenal. This is a must try. They didn't have the ingredients for the main dish I wanted, which was a salad so I just opted for a Caesar salad. Even the Caesar salad was beyond my expectations. If you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, this is your place.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food!! Would definitely recommend!! Got the grilled salmon, shrimp tacos and mushrooms

Yelp
My husband is fabulous and when I choose where to bring him for lunch fabulous is what I'm looking for. Granville did not disappoint. He ordered the Thai Ginger salad (added ahi) and a glass of Cremant de Bourgogne Brute Rose. Caroline our server agreed with his choices saying that was the way she enjoys her salad. I ordered the classic burger and a white ale beer. I am not fabulous in the way that my husband is fabulous. I was surprised when Caroline mentioned that if I wanted fries that would be an upgrade from the house made chips that come with the burger. Outrageous (I thought to myself) ok I'll have the fries. She asked me how I'd like my burger and I said medium. I began to suddenly picture a medium rare burger sitting in front of me so I blurted out MEDIUM WELL! The burger came well done and the steak fries were a disappointment (reeked of rosemary). I said to my husband that I had 2 regrets, number one was ordering the burger medium well and the second being the "upgrade". More importantly, my husband enjoyed his Salad thoroughly and completely. He mentioned the texture of soba noodles and the freshness of the tuna and the originality of the whole. He was pleased. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is top notch. If you're looking for a fabulous dining experience than by all means go straight to Granville.

Yelp
Awesome spot and close to the Beverly center. Love their spicy pasta! Service is always great and seating is super fast!

Yelp
Maybe it was an off night but we went here for our anniversary and it was just ok. After viewing their menu for about 10mins, finally settled upon the Bronzino based on reviews and Brussels sprouts and wouldn't you know it...they were out of BOTH ! I couldn't try some of their other dishes because of my shellfish & mushroom allergies ugh. Ended up setting on a burger (boo) and it was decent. Hubby got the Cajun salmon and it was just ok too. Nothing to rush back for. Ambiance: B - was "ok" for the area; you can get some good pictures on one side of the restaurant. It's not super fancy so no need to go all out dressing up. Parking: B - Valet $12 (not sure where the self parking was) Food: B: Village Cheeseburger: Was good;patty was super thick. Nothing to brag about. B: Cajun/creole Salmon: Not very much sauce. It was good but again, nothing to rush back for. A: Uptown Mac & Cheese: This was the best thing we got. The chicken was very tasty C: Drinks: Togo berry Lemonade - C (watery) Based on the above we opted out of the desserts.

Yelp
GRANVILLE is a great spot to grab happy hour. They have a great cocktail and plate selection. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and the service was great. I got the garlic tomato bisque with grilled cheese. I do wish the sandwich had more cheese and less onion, but nonetheless the bisque was delicious! A Thursday evening was pretty slow, but they set the vibe with cool and rustic decor, and vibey music.

Yelp
I typically have been here for lunch at the Pasadena and Studio city location. But this was my first time coming for dinner in Westwood. I ordered the angel hair pasta with chicken and I was very impressed. It was absolutely delicious. I licked the plate clean. My friends were even surprised because I never eat all my food and I always have something to complain about. Also, I tried my friend's fish entrée, and it was equally delicious. The only thing I would say is that their dinner menu is limited. Overall, I do enjoy the food at this establishment. Also, the servers and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I'd like to add that we sat outside because it was really cold inside the restaurant, but it was a beautiful evening so we didn't mind that it was a bit too noisy outside. I always do enjoy eating at this place.

Yelp
Granville is an absolute gem in Pasadena!! The interior is stunning. The vibes are unmatched, the bartenders are welcoming and professional, and every detail just feels elevated. Loved it. Can't wait to come back for another flawless experience.

Yelp
It has been a while since I have been to this neighborhood restaurant. The last time was actually during the SAG-AFTRA union strike, and it was because of that last experience I vowed to never go back (it was a whole thing, trust me...I even wrote the regional operations manager!!!)..... BUT, here I am...again....Hey, I believe in second (and sometimes third) chances, right????? LOL So.... Off to Granville, my daughter and I went. I was craving a plant based burger, and I remembered Granville had a very tasty one!!! We arrived to be greeted by a very pleasant host. The place was only about 20% full, but for context, it was in the middle of the day (about 3pm), so not exactly happy hour. The waiter was nice, and no problems with customer service as far as that goes. I did ask what oil they serve their food in...(wait for this answer!!!)... So, apparently, the food is sometimes olive oil and sometimes canola oil. Then he said that my burger was 70% olive oil and 30% canola oil???? Uhhhhh....Ok???? My daughter ordered the Poke bowl, and my burger came with homemade potato chips. The plant based burger was amazing in taste. The sauce was pretty good. The bun soft and the pickles fresh. However, the potato chips weren't my favorite. There was no flavor and the texture threw me off, even for homemade chips. My daughter ordered liked here poke bowl and she loved her chamomile tea. I ordered a honey green tea which was also good. We also ordered brussel spouts that had sliced almonds and a vinegar based tasting sauce which was decent. The restaurant was pretty cold and being that it was cold outside, they could have turned the air down just a little. There also was a seat that had a rip In it, and the floors were a little dirty, and this was build up dirt, and not the kind of dirt that was recent (see pics). Overall, this experience was just "okay". Unfortunately, it's not enough to keep me coming back. Maybe, in the future I will give Granville another chance (a third time is a charm right?)..... This time I will give them a 3.3 out of 5 :)

Yelp
We dined in at Granville this past weekend and we had an enjoyable time! One of the spots in LA we had been meaning to try - the menu was unique and delicious in our opinion - our server Yvette gave us some wonderful recommendations and seemed genuinely excited when we mentioned it was our first time trying Granville out. That's always nice when the staff seems happy to work at a place. I liked the wagyu burger and my partner was pleased by the pork chop - very juicy. Yum. We will be back!

Yelp
We came here for Brunch with a large party. Note the Yelp RSVP only allows up to 4 people but they also accept OpenTable RSVP which allows up to 10+. For very large groups above 10 you need to call to book. Parking is all paid street meter or valet behind the building. This Weho location does have a beautiful interior! There's a great nature to modern mix to the design that makes it very photogenic. Our large group of 8 got a private table in the back room where all the large tables are. We did come on a Saturday so they did have the Brunch menu available. We got the Smoked Salmon from the brunch menu for apps as a shared item and it was delicious! It had a very smokey salmon but perfectly seasoned without being overly salty in the cream cheese. For entrees we got a variety off the regular menu to do family style: Thick-Cut Pork Chop: 12oz bone in pork chop with cajun rub served with a cran-mango compote, sauteed spinach and mash. This entree was absolutely delish and cooked perfectly! The cranberry mango compote OMG so good with the sweet tart which made the perfect pairing with that tender pork and finish with the creamy mash. Would highly recommend this dish for your main or even for sharing Wagyu Beef Stroganoff: papparedelle demiglaze, glace brandy sauce, mushroom, horseradish aioli, fried onions. This one was our second favor entree. This is a very classic pasta served in a cast iron pan. Just note this demiglaze sauce is very wine-ish/brandy forward but delicious for a brown sauce. The pulled wagyu beef literally melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with the rendered mushrooms and the extra crunchy texture of the fried onions. SO GOOD! Angel Hair Pasta with choice of protein: capellini, artichoke, basil, fennel, tomato, garlic, shallots, parm with white wine clam sauce. Again very classic angel hair pasta dish but executed very well. It's full of flavor bombs from the fresh herbs. We did have some vegan/vegetarians in our party but they had a variety of options on the menu too to accommodate. Overall the service was good and a great spot to hangout with some family/friends/date. Yeah they have many locations all over LA so pick the one you're closest to!

Yelp
First off the service was really good, our server checked on us often but not too much and was conversational but not too long. We went for brunch and ordered a lot of apps and some mains. The Brussel sprouts were pretty good but had too much marinade in my opinion. The mushrooms were great! I wasn't a fan of the hummus, it had a strong mint flavor although the bread with it was amazing. The bread and butter is good but not worth it. The breakfast sandwich was very good as well as the roasted potatoes with it! The bacon in it was thick and perfectly crispy! I could've done without the caramelized onions in it for a more savory sandwich. The mint matcha was ok, I probably wouldn't get it again but the green juice was SO good! Great spot for brunch!

Yelp
Great spot to grab brunch! We came on a Sunday and had reservations for 11:45. It was not busy at all and there is plenty of seating inside or outside on the patio. Really great service, attentive and offered recommendations since it was our first time. We started off with cocktails, I had California Love, my husband had Gran Sour, both refreshing! We also shared the house made hummus and pita bread 10/10, and Shakshuka 10/10 which was comforting and delicious. Overall a good experience, lots of menu items to choose from and friendly service, will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great vibrant flavors throughout our dishes. The sauté Mushrooms appetizer kicked off the flavor parade, then the branzino fish dish w/roasted beets looked so artful, and the ahi tuna noodles were the highlight, well seasoned with maybe some sriracha integrated inside the noodle. All so berry tasty!

Yelp
When you first enter, the ambience seems very lively as there's seating outside and inside. Since it was a bit warm out, we decided to sit inside and then we were shown to a booth in a hallway near the restroom which I felt was kind of weird because there were tables on the other side. I read another review talking about this and how it felt like discrimination which I sort of felt as well but they could've just been busy on that side so who knows. The booth that we were sat in was also dirty, there were crumbs all over my seat. I thought this might of just been a fluke but when we got our waters, there was stuff in my water (like a leaf/food I assumed) but none of the other waters had anything. Fyi, it's supposed to be filtered as well. Our server only came to check up on us once and that was when our food came out. During that interaction, we requested more water and she never came back until we needed to pay the bill. We literally put our empty cups on the edge so someone could see it and no one came by with refills. BUT, our server was also very nice when they did interact with us! The food was great, they had a variety of options to choose from. Their drink menu is also very extensive, including mocktails!

Yelp
This Granville location is solid - offering quality food at a good price. Meeting a friend for dinner I arrived on a Wednesday evening, and had the blue cheese burger ($21) with a subbed in side of tomato basil soup ($4). The burger was rich, delicious, perfectly paired with bacon (that was a little thick cut and not crispy enough in my opinion but still paired well), and thankfully of reasonable size. The paired soup was delectable, rich, not too creamy, with bits of tomato sprinkled in. Our server was friendly and patient. The wait time was reasonable. The restaurant was clean and well kept, classy. Prices for the generally expensive area (W Hollywood, just across from Cedars-Sinai) were good but not excellent. Overall, Granville is an effective, if inoffensive and a touch generic restaurant. If you're looking for a place that's perfect for business or a formal, predictable dinner, you can't go wrong with Granville. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5

Yelp
I ordered food to be delivered so I can't speak to the restaurant experience or vibe, but I was with a large group and all of our food was delicious. I had the Thai ginger salad and loved it so much I actually ordered it again for dinner later that day! I couldn't get enough. The vegetables were fresh, I also got grilled chicken for extra protein, and everything worked so well together. I also enjoyed the acai berry soda and the lemonade. If you're looking for something healthy, fresh, and flavorful, this is your spot!

Yelp
This place is delicious! Very busy on a Saturday night, after we ordered the food it took 30 mins to get the burger and grilled cheese. Service was fast to take but slow to bring food. Some dishes are very pricey like the entrees and pasta but some apps and the burgers are $25 or less. Cute vibes and they do a free ice cream for bday dessert. Louder in general and only metered or $20 valet

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants to take anyone too! Menu has so many options and I've never been to any of the locations without enjoying my time spent! Drinks are so good and service is always on point! They also serve Adam Vodka which is my favorites right now! You can never go wrong choosing Granville when going out for a drink or a bite to eat!

Yelp
Good food and comfortable seating. Friendly staff but they can be slow. Noisy environment making it difficult to hear.

Yelp
We love Granville (amazing burgers) and Eduardo was the absolute best! My friend has many allergies and food restrictions and Eduardo went above and beyond to not only answer her questions but also make sure that she had a great experience :)

Yelp
Full review!! We decided to come in and have our anniversary dinner here because it looked cute and the reviews looked good! Ambiance: It's a very laid back and chill vibe. Good for a date night or just a catch up. They dim the lights for dinner and light candles on table. Service: Service was EXCELLENT! the host wished us a happy anniversary upon arrival. Our server was extremely nice and helpful when it came to the entire menu. He was very patient with us when we were struggling to figure out what cocktail to try. Food: This is where things went down hill sadly! The cocktails and pita started off really well and we were very pleased with it. We ended up ordering a medium rare skirt steak with asparagus and I got a grilled salmon. Upon arrival we were pleased with it yet once we cut in, it flipped around. Sadly the steak was well done, we didn't complain because it was still edible. Then after a couple bites of my salmon, i got stabbed in the mouth by a bone. Still didn't complain because the server was getting busy and didn't wanna bother. The rest of the experience was good though. We got the chocolate cake which was delicious!! On the way home though, my stomach started to cramp up really bad and i got so nauseous. We had to pull over for about 30 min so i can be near a restroom. I got so light headed that i kept having to sit down and my stomach just kept hurting. We finally got home and nothing has changed. I believe I got really bad food poisoning from our food :((( I was going to return in the future yet now im scared to.

Yelp
Came here for a business meeting and ordered the Mediterranean bream, my companion ordered the quinoa with chicken, and we had a brussel sprouts starter to share. He loved his quinoa (and has ordered no other main the other handful of times he's been here -- why mess with a good thing?), and the Brussel sprouts were well seasoned, although perhaps slightly over salted. I did love the added almond slivers which gave a nice crunch. My bream was cooked well, although a small portion. The side of quinoa seemed unseasoned, and there were no S&P shakers on the table to adjust, although a splash of lemon juice (for the fish) was mildly helpful. The beet/arugula/feta/candied walnuts salad was well dressed. I would've loved a couple more walnuts! Our server Caroline was friendly and attentive. Thank you!
