I found this restaurant by accident, and it turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. The salad was simple but very tasty, and the pasta with prawns and lemon was perfectly balanced: you could clearly taste the prawns, the lemon, and the (most likely homemade) pasta itself. Even the bread alone was excellent.
The service was outstanding: the staff immediately switched to English when they realized that my French is limited, but still encouraged me to order in French — in a very kind and humorous way. We also had a good laugh when they kindly pointed out that I was trying to order a cocktail instead of a coffee for dessert. I felt warmly taken care of the entire time.
The price was very reasonable. The restaurant was full, yet never too loud — the old building, warm lighting and a real fireplace created a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
