They clearly care about their food. Pasta was excellent, but all the options were pretty heavy, and it would have been nice to get some lighter options with pasta. Kinda pricey, but not compared to the quality of the plate. Spring shrimp scampi was flavorful, but I wish the shrimp hadn't been battered and deep fried.

Great place. Pasta was awesome, staff were friendly, and the handmade items were super good. Bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Nothing to improve on in my book. You need to park in the parking garage and walk to the restaraunt, FYI. Pics attached.

I ordered from DoorDash, so this review is solely based on the food quality, and wow—everything was outstanding! I got the meatballs, kids’ mac & cheese, and beet salad, and each dish was fantastic. The beet salad was hands down the best I’ve ever had (and beets are my favorite food!). The combination of horseradish, yogurt, and basil dressing had just the right amount of spice, and the sliced apples balanced it out perfectly—absolute perfection. The kids’ mac & cheese was exactly what I wanted—just the right portion, with extra-large shells smothered in rich, melted cheese and topped with crispy breadcrumbs. Every bite was comforting and delicious. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. If the food is this good for delivery, I can only imagine how amazing it is in person!

I love coming here and getting pasta. The radiator is excellent with the dark chicken meat and the whipped ricotta makes just a creamy beautiful touch to this pasta and also the fried basil on top is the lift with a little bit of a crunch

This establishment is an enjoyable and well-maintained restaurant. While the overall quality of the food is satisfactory, there were a few minor inconsistencies observed in the preparation of the pasta dishes. It's worth noting that during multiple visits, I encountered variations in the texture and moisture levels of the pasta, with a drier outcome on the second occasion. On a positive note, the restaurant offers a child-friendly menu selection that is sure to please young diners. The beverage offerings are of commendable quality, and the restaurant's location is conveniently situated.

Google
This homemade pasta is done right. So good. I had the Carbonara and my daughter had the spaghetti aglio olio. Both good and was hearing lots of mmmmm’s. The carbonara was excellent - lots of big chunks of panchetta , a little peppery, nice pecorino and pasta water sauce and the fried egg yoke took it to another level. The aglio olio also good with delicate spaghetti. The hardest thing was deciding what to try. The entire menu looked delicious. The service was excellent, happy people, incredible food. Portion size is perfect. Oh…and make sure to order the garlic bread. Also good - a little crispy on the outside and soft and garlicky in the middle. One order was perfect for two people give. We will most definitely be back. My new favorite place to go.

Google
Went to the lake oswego location and it looks fairly new. The place has a very chill vibe. Got the Caesar salad, calamari, and the pork belly Mac n cheese. Calamari was delicious. The pork belly mac n cheese was pretty good. The pork belly had a sweet sauce to it so it balanced out the savory Mac n cheese really well. If it wasn’t for the pork belly the Mac n cheese would have been just average. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of the menu.

I come here multiple nights every time I'm in Portland. Everything I've had is delicious. I dream about the pork belly mac and cheese.

Yelp
Vibes and decor are amazing and trendy casual. Menu has a nice range, alcohol available. I like that it seems to be made-to-order food but quick bc it's pasta + food prep seems pretty quick. I asked specifically before ordering if I could be walking out in 20min, he said for sure depending on what I want. I got 2 pastas and calamari, and he confirmed timing was no worries. I wait, at 20min ask a diff staff and she said it should be out soon if that's what I was told. At 25min I ask the guy I ordered with about it and they hustle to hand over my takeout bag in less than 5 min. Pastas were ok but my issue is calamari seems like it was the bottom of the bowl leftover batch of someone else's order. There were only 10-15pieces, lukewarm, and soggy. So sad, maybe if someone else brings me here I'll try again.

Yelp
My update of Grassa is overdue. My husband and I were disappointed in our first visit last year. We're glad we gave it another chance, and we have been going here regularly. The Rigatoni (5 stars) reminded me of my husband's family recipe, which was the reason we fell in love with Grassa seven years ago. It was yummy comfort food with tender pieces of pork. The Pork Belly Mac & Cheese (5 stars) tasted more like a creamy pasta rather than a mac and cheese to me. The flavorful pork belly was craveable and delicious on its own. The jalapeños were a nice surprise between bites, but it isn't overly spicy. The cornbread crumbs were a subtle garnish, and it was nice when the fine crumbs were incorporated in each bite. I usually alternate between the Rigatoni and Pork Belly Mac & Cheese. I have had better Carbonara (3 stars). My husband likes the Garlic Bread (3 stars) more than I do. The Love Me Forever (4 stars) was a refreshing vodka cocktail. The service was 4 stars. We haven't waited too long for our takeout orders or if we dine in. We enjoy going to Grassa when we have a pasta craving.

Nina J.

Yelp
I was hoping the food would come out a bit faster given that it's more of a "fast food" style pasta establishment. It took around 25 minutes after ordering for the dishes to be ready which is similar to many sit-down places. The pasta itself was good and a decently sized portion.

Mag W.

Yelp
Arrived to pick up an order, but when I checked with the cashier, he said it wasn't done yet. I waited another seven minutes or so, got a text from Grassa saying my dish was ready. Another cashier gave me a bag that was sitting there from before I arrived. This isn't the service I expect when ordering ahead of time to pick up a hot meal. The dish is lukewarm now, and this has definitely left me a bad taste in my mouth.

Brigete B.

Yelp
Ridiculous amount of raw garlic in my tagliatelle bolognese. Raw anything does not belong in this dish.

Sam H.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Grassa. Extremely friendly and encouraging staff, and I really liked the food. I love all the live plants in there, they are gorgeous & well cared for. My least favorite aspects were the limited amount of seating, especially with comfortable seats, no sparkling wine, they only offer lime for bar fruit, & the fungus gnats from the plants flying around were a little distracting. I would love to go back again.

Yelp
I've reviewed Grassa before, so this won't be a long review. Just have to say tonight I tried their current special, Chicken Parm Cannelloni. Omg! One of the best things I've eaten in a while. This is an all timer here at Grassa. They've had some other great ones, this one is equal to or better than all of them. Describing this will be difficult, but I'll try. Basically these are like Italian enchiladas with spicy chicken in a red sauce, with whipped ricotta on top. I really can't tell you how good this was. The rest of our food was awesome tonight! Great job!

Taj A.

Yelp
2nd Grassa experience, first at LO location. Order the Chicken Parm Canneloni with a side of fried Brussel sprouts. This thing is so damn good, my wife called it Italian enchiladas, which is true. As we waited for our takeout Unwound-"Corpse Prose" played on the speakers and I was thankful to finally be immersed in the PNW both in sound and cuisine. Both locations have pleasant people taking our order. Will definitely take friends here when they visit.

Faith A.

Yelp
SO FREAKING GOOD!! I wish I lived in Portland just to eat here again. The Caesar was very tasty too!

Mai L.

Yelp
I was craving pasta and I liked the simplicity of choices on this menu! I got the pappardelle pasta and Brussels sprouts. It was a huge portion for both. The pasta was good. Very simple and cooked al dente. I also liked the Brussels. They were crispy and not greasy. Easy and fast place!

Yelp
Update: bringing this down to 1 star because the eggplant was indeed funky and led to health issues. Definitely not going back there. When I first took a bite into the eggplant a part of it was cold but the rest was hot. I presumed it may have been due to the ricotta that is added to it, but considering the consequences of our having dined there, it was definitely undercooked. This is an utter shame, really. This place is all style and no substance. Previous review below (posted originally with 3 stars): On a recommendation, we decided to visit this place and it was an ok enough experience. Ambiance - 4/5 The place has a cool vibe - people were friendly and incredibly patient with us as we tried to choose what we wanted! Cauliflower radicchio salad - 4/5 This was really well made and surprisingly vegan - which I really appreciated! The only reason it got a 4 instead of 5 was because there was a ton of dressing at the bottom of the bowl. If I order this again, I'll ask for the dressing on the side. But otherwise, really top notch! Eggplant Parmesan - 2.5/5 Now I love a good eggplant parm and I had big hopes for it but it was surprisingly mediocre. It felt a little heavy and maybe I would avoid it next time. Pizza rolls - 3/5 Just like the parm, the husband reported that this was just ok. He ordered it because he was intrigued about having an upscale pizza roll but again it was on the heavier side. Mac and cheese (kids version) - 3.5/5 The husband got this along with the rolls and he said it grew on him. Perhaps less breadcrumbs next time? I think the pork belly Mac and cheese might have been a better idea! Garlic bread - 1/5 These well.. kinda sucked. We are definitely not getting these again. That being said, I would probably visit again if I'm in the area. I am excited to try the pumpkin spice delicata fritters! And I hope the husband can get the squid ink pasta next time (they were out this time around).

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised of the selections offered and pretty good quality!! Only my first impression and visit but this review to be continued!! Carbonara with bucatini was good and cauliflower was good too but definitely worthy of return visit to try the spaghetti and meatballs!!! Great location and very fair pricing!!

Fernando D.

Yelp
SO RUDE! My feelings were very hurt. The customer service is donkey. Do not spend money here! Not worth it

Margie A.

Yelp
I tried to give this place another chance, since I know there are off days. But the staff was dismissive and after waiting for food for 20 minutes I asked the person at the counter and they said they would check. But I tbh, they pretty much gas lighted me since I ended up waiting again and having to follow up again. When the food arrived 45 mins later, it was cold. No apologies. Sigh. I like to support local businesses but I think I would skip this place from now on.

Wendy Z.

Yelp
I requested a burrata and the bread was the worst taste I have ever had. Also, the music was to loud for me, but I understand that so people like that.

Pastores P.

Yelp
Yum!!!! The food was delicious. Seating was a bit of challenge but it was worth the wait. We will definitely come back for more!!

Jack H.

Yelp
This Lake O location is in a quiet area so it was not busy at all when we walked in for dinner. I did little research beforehand so I assumed this concept is sit-down. Instead, it's more high-end, fast casual as you do go to the counter to order. The restaurant has a warm, inviting environment which was nice. I got the Black Truffle Pasta with a Jockey Bourbon. Both were great! If you do get the Black Truffle, it does not have meat in it so personally I would likely try the Rigatoni next time so that it's more filling.

Kris O.

Yelp
We've had the pleasure of meeting Andy twice now--once while he was covering at their Hawthorne location and again in Lake Oswego! Both times were for birthday celebrations! He honestly guided our experience at Grassa both times. Such a light, doesn't miss a beat, and you can see how he keeps morale up! We look forward to seeing him and his crew again when we're back next! "The vibes were lit." (Oh yeah, and the food is great.)

Donna A.

Yelp
Went around lunch hour & took out of town guest with grandson. Place wasn't busy so that was nice as guest was needing to get on road. The food was greasy/oily and not much flavor. Prices high for quality.

Helen F.

Yelp
Reasonably priced, serve yourself kinda model. We ordered: - lamb pasta (neither person liked it too much) - spaghetti oglio (super mushy - didn't seem fresh at all) - kids meatball and spaghetti (looked good - son ate up the noodle) - burrata (just a mess of greens, tasted fine) - beets (great!) Super meh. One female staff member was kind. Everyone else looked annoyed - like we should be in LA. Silverware looks dirty, but clean. Music inside was super loud - no way you can hold a conversation. Or maybe I'm just old?

Yelp
GRASSA $ - $$ My husband and I went to try grassa handmade pastas YEARS ago, and the line was out the door every time we went in downtown. Then, it was always on our list to try. When they opened up their new location in LO, by my work, I was like this is finally the time. CAESAR - very fresh and crisp. Very anchovie forward. Heavily dressed but still light? My husband absolutely love it. The croutons taste exactly like a crispy version of the garlic bread. GARLIC BREAD- So so good. Came with cheese melted on top which is always a nice addition. CALAMARI - Could go for a little crispier batter but had great flavor and the cala was not overcooked. Which can happen super easy with octopus. Tartar is good! Very "best foods" forward but in the best way, but has a bite to it to cut the richness. CARBONARA - Really rich. The noodles were al dente, maybe a drop too al dente. Noodles may be a little too thick for me with this specific dish, since everything was all very thick and creamy it came off a little gummy in texture. Want to try these noods with a red sauce next. Not too overpowering with any one flavor in the dish. Many carbs are way too bacon-y, but this one wasn't. Bacon was thick cut and really good. I think perhaps a sprinkle of a salty parm on top would be really good. Since it's such a rich dish. RIGATONI - My personal fave. It had cubed pork meat that wasn't fatty or greasy at all. They are smaller rig noodles, but cooked very well. The sauce tastes like a pure tomato sauce that was balanced and not too acidic and very bright. Really good DRANKS: On tap hazy (They don't have a full bar, so if you want hard alc you have to get one of their cocktails.) I got a drink with gin, grenadine, and lemon and it was good & pink! Overall, felt that it was pretty reasonable for the size and quality of each dish. Came out to almost $75 for the entire meal but we had a little leftovers and you pay for the quality of each dish imo. Def going to go back and try some more

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Grassa is a fave and love this location to avoid downtown and parking. I'm always switching around different menu items but think I found my go to: Fusilli Alla Vodka. Flavored so well, decent Italian sausage portions, and has a kick. The kids spaghetti meatball was too spicy for our toddler so would not rec the meatball. Other faves are the garlic bread, Ceasar salad, pork belly Mac and cheese (if you don't like sweet and savory don't order this), and Brussels sprouts. I make it a point to order the seasonal items now and then and some I wish stayed on the menu. Service is ok, hit or miss sometimes but since it's a order then seat yourself I would not expect too much checking in.

Marcy J.

Yelp
The food is always great here. Love. Love. Love, Grassa!! The brussel sprouts with mustard seed were phenomenal for an additional side.

Jidapa A.

Yelp
I love the squid ink chitarra. It has a slightly spicy which goes well with the tomato sauce. The pesto is delicious too. But after couple bite, it started to get greasy.

Nerissa T.

Yelp
Causal counter service handcrafted pasta spot. I've been to the Portland locations on many occasions so I thought I should check out the lake o one. Plenty of seating here from booths to tables and even a communal high top. For all the times I've visited Grassa, the food comes out fairly quick. Probably less than 15 minutes. The pork belly Mac & cheese is my usual go-to order. But they have a variety of pastas to choose from on their menu. I came with my husband and friend this time around so we decided to share the Caesar salad, carbonara, rigatoni, and of course my favorite pork belly max & cheese. Everything was great. Hit the spot. Also had a glass of their house Pinot noir. Cheers!

Lauren F.

Yelp
Casual | Handcrafted Pasta Deliciousness | Good service A friend of mine took me here recently. Now, I come here with my family and plan to bring my other friends here. I've had the pork belly mac and cheese and their cacio e pepe. Both are very different from each other but equally delicious. My husband had their braised lamb strozzapreti, which is hearty and tasty too. The pork belly mac and cheese is heavy and can be split with another person, or expect to take home a little leftover. (I also ate garlic bread with it, so that may be why I was pretty stuffed) The cacio e pepe is so light with that buttery truffle oil and cracked pepper. Mmm, so yummy! You can also add a protein or vegetarian version, but I went with pork belly with my cacio e pepe. The pork belly isn't my favorite from this place, but I still enjoy it with my meal. It pairs well with some dishes here. I think we may have met the owner and he was very helpful and friendly. He helped us understand the menu and checked on us while we enjoyed our meal. Overall, I really like this place! I like the location and the food is delicious. It's a great spot to recommend to others.

Becky H.

Yelp
Unfortunate here that the food was really good, however the SUPER loud music, and dismissive service was off-putting. Staff was unfriendly and didn't follow up to see how our meals were, etc. even though we were one of only a couple of people in the restaurant (during lunch hour!?). Turn down the volume; turn up the customer service level - and this would absolutely be a regular spot to visit.

Harold M.

Yelp
Went to Grassa in Portland and the Carbonara was delicious and fulfilling. Eat this, as soon as you can. Service was also great.

Mar C.

Yelp
I enjoy noodles. I would eat them daily if I could. The carbonara at Grassa is probably their best item IMO and they've been pretty consistent at all locations including this one. Their location at Mercato Grove is one of their newest I think. It's a big space. Maybe too big because it felt very empty on a Saturday primetime dinner time. It was also unfortunate that there were fruit flies everywhere, which made it difficult to eat or bring back leftovers. Need to work on their cleanliness or something. Same with the bathroom situation, just didn't feel cleanly. Likely won't go to this location again.

Jessy J.

Yelp
The dishes that we tried were the Carbonara & the Pork belly Mac & Cheese (our fav!) the people were great, offered awesome suggestions. Also should try the blackberry soda! Also the burrata dish was well put together as well. Ambiance was laid back, casual setting. Great for family or even a date.

albert b.

Yelp
I tried to make a DoorDash order at 6:00. The site said it was closed. I called Grassa to check and when they answered, I asked, "Why does DoorDash say you're closed?" The guy who answered said they don't take delivery orders during peak hours. That's a great business model. I called Pastini who was happy to deliver. Grassa needs to get their act together. It's always something with them.

sara s.

Yelp
I never write reviews, especially bad ones, however after a dinner w my mom I decided I had to. The man taking our order was flippant and totally disrespectful to me and her. No one was in line and yet he looked perturbed at my mom perusing the menu after what she planned on ordering wasn't in the menu. He rushed us and was totally rude, the definition of a SOB. I've worked in service before and I know people can have bad days but he totally ruined what was going to be a special dinner with my mom and I. The food has been cold and under seasoned the couple of times I've been there, and the fried brussel sprouts, specifically the larger ones, weren't even cooked through. I've given this place a couple of chances cuz I like to support businesses in my neighborhood but this place is not worth it. If you want good food and good people go to Szechuan kitchen instead that's right nearby.

Alan L.

Yelp
We were in town visiting family . Was a hoilday weekend and looking for pizza place to eat. Semmed like every place we wanted to go to was a long wait. We wound up at Grassa. Our order included SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO garlic, chili flake, olive oil, grana, breadcrumbs, RIGATONI Sunday pork ragu, BLACK TRUFFLE PAPPARDELLE butter, grana, cracked black pepper,CAESAR SALAD preserved lemon, crouton, anchovy, A kids SPAGHETTI and MEATBALLS, and Garlic bread. Everything was fine except for the Caesar Salad. The anchovy were inedible due to bones in them. The atmosphere was very loud. Blairing music was not wanted by us. Had to shout to have a conversation. Grassa to me is an upscale fast food restaurant . The food is better than an Olive Graden but not good enough for a return visit.

Jennifer I.

Yelp
We came here for Mothers Day lunch because we couldn't get a reservation anywhere else. Boy, were we lucky. Our family of 8 with 4 kids had such a lovely lunch. The food was exceptional as well as the service. The adults enjoyed the cocktails and wine. we were all so impressed by the elevated casual lunch so much so that I felt compelled to give a review. If you're in LO, make it your destination.

Harmony G.

Yelp
Well, Grassa. It is the step sister to Grassa in Portland. Somehow, Chef's Table thinks that us yokels in the country (Lake O) do not know the difference between the food they serve in Portland and the swill they serve in Lake O. Well, it is different and not better - oh, actually no where as good. Will we notice? Yes we did. Step it up, Grasa! We know the difference between gummy pasta and the real thing.

Anke L.

Yelp
I finally went to Grassa Lake Oswego again after quite a while. I used to like the Sunday pork ragu though the last time I had it, it was only mediocre. I wanted to try something new and ordered Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. It was truly the worst I have ever had. I love olive oil and garlic (so this would be the perfect dish), but this was a greasy mess which didn't taste fresh. This dish is not supposed to drown in mediocre olive oil, with about a whole head of garlic added. Just awful.

Makayla S.

Yelp
I love grassa! Definitely a go to of mine! Love that they have gf options as well! The drinks are always so yummy too!

Johnny N.

Yelp
Fast casual or fancy casual? The Grassa locations have expanded to Lake O and it's my first time dining in. The pasta is made fresh in house. Interior was superb, clean with a modern design aesthetic. Food taste quality was great but not crazy good Pasta carbonara: yes the velvety egg sauce and crispy pork belly richness soaked up with house made noodles. Add another egg on top and its sooo good. It was pork belly not pancetta that I tasted in this dish. Crispy fatty goodness. Fritto misto: an array of calamari, onions and sliced lemons breaded and fried with a nice side of aioli. I ate the fried lemons too. Nice combo Pesto with walnuts: this one was a great idea but the execution or final result was really oily. I think the addition of walnuts was too much and there wasn't enough basil to balance it all out. Halfway through and I could see a half cup of oil in the bowl. Wayyy tool greasy to be appetizing. Meatballs: nice sample platter with 3 large sized balls. All juicy and nothing dry. The only thing missing was the meatiness. It was well blended and super soft but maybe just too much bread crumbs or milk in the mixture? Pasta: the quality of pasta lowered the entire meal to a rating of 3 stars. The other Ingredients were great. Spaghetti? The noodle was way too thick. It soaked up all the sauces and it expanded and was hard to chew even at first bite. A thinner pasta would have been better. Not angel hair just a regular thickness of spaghetti. Prices are decent for the portion and service was fast. The soda machine wasn't working properly. Not enough syrup so it was all soda water but the staff offered a refill that tasted a little better I think the staff is still working out the kinks but there's great potential for this lake o Grassa location.

Jen M.

Yelp
So my first experience here was amazing. Like, the food was over the top fantastic. So when I was craving some good pasta on the quick this weekend, I thought, "I know! I'll order Grassa again!" Well, sadly my experience was pretty lackluster at best. I ordered the exact same things I ordered the first time, the Carbonara and the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese. And whereas the first time they were bursting with flavor in every bite, this time they were, dry, over cooked and super bland. No real flavor at all. I also ordered the Chicken Parmesan with some Pasta Marinara, and sadly the Chicken Parm did not arrive but instead another box showed up with only a few tiny raviolis in it. I'm talking kid size (see pic). It wasn't terrible, but definitely not what I ordered. The odd thing was "CHX" was written on the outside of the box, so someone obviously dropped the ball somewhere. I'm not sure if it was Grassa or DoorDash, so I'm not deducting any stars for that particular issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Nonetheless, for what I paid for the meal, and what I had experienced in the past, I expected a lot more. I would say this was a 2-star experience. So I'll average the two and give them 3 stars. But I don't know if I'll go back anytime soon.

Oscar T.

Yelp
I have gone to a few other locations in portland and i have been skeptical since they have become a chain and lost their touch as far as flavor goes, so i must give it to this team as i felt they were firing on all cylinders and actually tasting what they were making as to provide me the guest a better experience that will have me coming back to this location! Funny enough all the staff at this location appeared to be on the younger side! Not much of an ambiance but will be back due to great service and good food!

Andrew T.

Yelp
One of our routine go to restaurants. The staff is always friendly and remembers the regulars. Food is consistently good and the house white wine is a solid value. In nice weather, it is pleasant to sit outside. Haven't had a bad meal.

C W.

Yelp
Really delicious Italian food all made from scratch. Completely different from the standard restaurant fare. Very fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend Grassa!

Charlie T.

Yelp
We had a pretty good meal here with some quick and friendly service. We ordered a bunch of items to share - Cacio E Pepe (add pancetta), Rigatoni, and Carbonara were delicious. The chopped salad had a bit too much dressing for me and the bbq pork belly on the Mac n cheese was a bit too sweet for me. The fried Brussel sprouts and meatballs were a good appetizer.

Jamison H.

Yelp
While shopping in the place it's located in I noticed this restaurant and I'm glad I tried it. Ordered their freshly made limeade, the black truffle pasta, mac n cheese, spaghetti with a meatball, and the corn ribs. First of all, I love the concept and the ambiance. Also they make their own pasta!!!! The food was delicious! The kids even loved their food. I had the black truffle pasta and it was so yummy! Absolutely happy that I stumbled across this great eatery. People with their comments about corn and Italian don't mix are hilarious. The corn ribs were different and so good! Calm down and enjoy delicious food. We will have to come here for our Italian fix. Also the staff was pleasant and everything was correct.

Jake S.

Yelp
The Pasta is always so good. Our favorites are the Fusilli alla vodka (try swapping the noodles for bucatini), and the ragu rigatoni. The pork belly mac and carbonara are better shared, but are also fun. The caesar salad and garlic bread have become a skip, they are not on par with some of the pastas!

Caleb G.

Yelp
A sure choice for excellent Italian noodles Casual counter service, easy to grab seating. The menu offers a good variety of noodles and several vegetarian options, all reasonably priced and with good portions. Everyone at our table enjoyed the house pinot noir and loved the burrata. The carbonara was wonderfully rich and the New Haven clam pasta was exceptional. If you're looking for great pasta, this is a must-try!

Yelp
Andy and his team do an incredible job at this location. The food always comes out promptly and tastes fresh. My wife loves the music, daughter enjoys the coloring pages and crayons, and I love that everyone can enjoy a delicious reasonably priced meal.

Yelp
I finally got out to the new Grassa in Lake Oswego. While I did enjoy the meal, there was a few things that bothered me. One was that the meal was warm outside but lukewarm inside, and the pasta kind of stuck together. Like when you boil pasta then drain it and put it back in the pot, let it sit too long, and it firms up into the shape of the pot. Meh. The other thing was that they have large garbages right by the outdoor seating, so I was being accosted by flies during my entire meal. I did appreciate their wine menu, and the flavors of my food were quite good.
