The squash salad was impeccable in flavor! Eating this salad made me feel recharged, considering the top quality ingredients which nourishied my spirit and body. The portion size was not that generous but it was very filling.

We snuck into the DMV to surprise a good friend for his 40th birthday. We assumed the hotel had a complimentary breakfast - it did not. So we decided to venture out to Old Alexandria and lo and behold!: We found Grateful Kitchen! Truly breakfast heaven. We got the salmon breakfast sandwich and carrot juice with ginger. Man it was so good. We are definitely returning here when we come back to the DMV.

I thought the food was good, but portion of my salmon and toast was small. I did hear a lot of people complain the Website descriptions of the menu did match with the menu of the restaurant. I liked it and I’d probably comeback.

Go here! Great selection that makes you feel healthy even if you’re a dirt person who eats Doritos as an entree most of the time. Blown away by the flavor of the vegetable sandwich. Will be back!

Just stopped in for another fantastic salmon and lentil salad and I’m excited for my Blue Majik Smoothie I got for later. I’m so glad to have these guys in Old Town! They have cold pressed juice, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, bowls, and more. They do a super job in creating an uplifting vibe so it’s a treat all around to go there. I’m very Grateful for Grateful Kitchen!

Grateful Kitchen Co. is perfect branding for this new restaurant. My family felt grateful that the owners and staff are taking healthy sustainable meals so seriously. Fun menu and everything is hand made in front of you. I had the apple, carrot & ginger juice, egg N’ hot sauce with well prepared kale and smoked salmon toast. Delicious! My biggest takeaway is the sense of pride and excitement that this startup has in serving healthy eats at an affordable cost.

I tried one of the bowls here. I enjoyed the flavors and textures. The coffee was good as well. I’ll return to try something different. If you want something healthy, you can get that here.

Where to begin... the service was genuine and thoughtful- I would go back just for that. But the food was also phenomenal! The veggie egg breakfast sandwiches were made to order, so fresh and DELICIOUS. I’ve never had a better breakfast sandwich (and I am a foodie). We also ordered smoothies and were very happy with those. Thank you for the amazing experience! If we lived in town, we would for sure be top customers.
