A lovely, family business. The manager is a great human being. He is kind, warm, friendly, generous and a really good person. The staff are great. I used to love shopping here when I lived in this area. The produce is top notch. Much of it is organic. I think they still might do free range meats etc. One possible improvement could be stocking additive free tobacco such as American Spirit! The fruit and veg is locally sourced. It's basically organic although not certified so is very good value for money. Erica, who I believe still works here, is probably my favourite customer service assistant ever! She is a wonderful, beautiful person in every sense. She has a heart as wide as a river. She is very laid back and down to earth, very tolerant and takes people just as she finds them. She is open, nonjudgmental, hilarious, witty, intelligent and can take a compliment. Once in a blue moon I still pop in and see her and attempt to serenade her with poetry, song, inspiring quotes and heartfelt affection. What a great place!

Simply the best place!!! There is a wide range of delicious, healthy produce - the vegetables are so lush and the snacks are delectable. You will definitely leave with an item that wasn't on the shopping list because there is just so much goodness. Very friendly, smiley staff that make the visit even more enjoyable. Highly highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful with a wonderful array of fabulous food and other helpful things. The owner and everyone there make it a pleasure every time I step into the shop. An absolute hidden gem!

The owner is a wonderful man. I came in for a few ingredients for dinner and he gave me free ginger. He’s full of kindness and wonderful to chat with.

Richardson Road is already a great area for buying from small local businesses. Home to a fantastic butcher, fishmonger, bakery, wine shop, flower shop and cafe it's a great place to pick up local produce without heading into town. In addition, I recently discovered a new organic grocers has opened up making this an even more inspiring spot. Gratitude Grocers has a wonderful display of fruit and veg out the front which immediately draws the eye. Pick up a lovely old fashioned wicker basket and start shopping! Great quality fresh local produce is hard to resist. I brought some leeks and potatoes to make a soup, and some wonderfully large, juicy plums. Inside, the great produce continues. Freshly baked bread from Flint Owl Bakery, locally produced sausages and bacon, dairy produce, local honey, vegan goods and homemade falafel are among some of the delights available. I would definitely recommend the falafel - I ate mine in the car before I even drove off! Downstairs, there is apparently a great selection of organic produce such as shampoo and cleaning products, I didn't make it down this time as I was with my little one in the pram, but will defiantly return to check it out. Organic stores are often ridiculously over priced but I didn't think this was the case here. On top of all this, the proprietor was so friendly and chatty I left feeling like I had made a new friend! Shopping experiences like this are hard to come by so I wish this small business every success. The owner mentioned the possibility of opening a store in my local area, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this happens one day.
