"The perfect antidote to your shrink wrapped supermarket. A local grocery store filled to the point of bursting with thoughtfully sourced produce. The storefront changes with the seasons; firewood in winter, flowers in spring, ice cream eating patrons in summer. Take the small detour from the station and be rewarded with hand roasted coffee, hearty stews and jaw stretching sandwiches. You will succumb to the “flapcake”, a term coined (by us) to honour the generous homemade flapjacks. Photography by Violet Blythe" - Eighth Day
