As someone who has spent a decent amount of time in the UK, I can confidently say this place has the vibe of a pub in England, Scotland, or Wales. The food was great and is a step above regular bar food. We were able to comfortably sit down and enjoy a meal with our 5-month-old who was in a car seat. We sat him in the booth with us but the restaurant also had wooden high chairs and booster seats available. There is ample off-street parking available (designated lot).

Good pub with a nice burger and fries. Service was a bit lacking, though nice. - Big Easy: Half pound standard burger ordered medium and got it medium. The burger was juicy and cooked the way I like it. The rest of the burger was fairly plain and not much else to write home about. The cheese was not melted much. I saw it had mustard and no ketchup, so I freaked and asked them for ketchup instead of mustard which they did. I thought the burger was a little overpriced compared to the many of the other places I have visited in the area. If it were that good, I wouldn’t have a problem paying the price, but it was too plain to charge $16 and only get chips. - Fries: I upgraded to the fries. They were again fairly plain, but done right. They are medium sized steak fries with a good fluffy center and medium softer outer skin. They stayed warm until the end and were cooked just right. - Crispy Brussels Sprouts: WOAH! Powerful taste. There are several well balanced flavors that were nonetheless screaming for attention on this dish. I do like brussel sprouts and these were great, but a bit too much. That said, the parmesan was added as large shavings rather than grated which gave a great texture. The bacon is always a nice touch. The sherry gastrique was very sweet and powerful. There was a sour flavor to it as well that hits you at first, but settles down as you become acquainted with the initial shock. I liked it and it is worth trying. You’ll have to be the judge, though. It is a unique flavor. Not on the menu, but they have gluten free buns. Also, their Barnyard Burger was listed apart from the other burgers and I missed it. Their menu needs a bit of organization. They also have Shepherd’s Pie. Maybe I’ll come back and try that some time. They also list specials on their website. They are mostly drinks, though. I do see occasional specials for food listed on their Facebook page. - Service: We were greeted at the door immediately and seated at a booth at our request. However, that is where it seemed to go downhill. We looked over our menu and were ready to order and waited a good while (it was NOT that busy). Finally, I ended up sticking my head into the isle and being served by someone who wouldn’t have served us otherwise. Waters were finally brought (though never refilled) and our orders were taken. When served, it did come in a timely fashion, though. Paying also took a while. We had the credit card on the table for a good 5 minutes or more waiting to pay. BEWARE: The tip by default is 25% when paying by credit card. I didn’t notice until it was too late, especially since we were trying to get out as soon as possible since it was taking too long. I would NOT have tipped that much for our experience. Lesson learned. - Atmosphere: The booths have hard wooden backs, but cushioned seats (a bit worn, but not bad at all). The wood is warn down I think on purpose. It gives it that old-world feel they boast of. I felt like we were in Ireland or Scotland. There is a decent amount of old-world decor and the main of the inside is dark wood. It was overall comfortable in spite of the wooden backs. The music playing in the background was almost imperceptible. I could not hear it unless I really listened for it. Talking to my wife was not an issue and I appreciated that. The bathrooms were a tad small, but were okay. My wife mentioned the women’s room was a bit unclean, but I didn’t think the men’s room was bad. To call this place a “gastropub” (according to their Google Maps description) I think is a bit of a stretch. I think it is more of a pub with a slightly greater emphasis on the food than a pub. Maybe somewhere in the middle. I am guessing they have been around for almost 14 years (November 5, 2010 according to their Facebook page). Visited on a Friday night 7-8 PM. It was not terribly busy for a Friday and there were plenty of staff on hand from what I saw. Even a couple of the cooks came out for a few minutes.

Great local restaurant to dine at. I got the Tofu Southwest Scramble. It was interesting dish and tasted delicious. I also ordered pretzel bites. (My little secret… take some pretzel bites home , warm them up and dip them in peanut butter. Super yummy)

Google
Decent place for a bite to eat. Food quality was a little underwhelming. Pics on their menu not even close to the food served. Ordered an appetizer first with our brunch and it came out with the meal. They do have really good onion rings here. The bagel was rubbery and hard to eat. The meat on the Benedict was room temp

I’m in town for a conference, and stopped here after driving in before going to the hotel. At first I was worried because the bartender kept glancing at me, but waited on other people and washed glasses etc for almost 15 minutes and never once came over or indicated that she would be any time soon it was not busy, so I moved to a table and an amazing server named Juan more than made up for her lack of service, he was great! I had the whipped feta, which was delicious, and the Violette Starry Night, which which was refreshing and not too sweet. Good music is a plus as well!

Google
I was hoping to see a better impact from the new ownership, but it feels like Graydon lost some of its personality in the food execution and menu. The menu literally lost it's color. The music was either absent or rap with profanities. No shade, I listen to the same stuff sometimes, but it was not appropriate for the vibe of the bar.

Great place! This was my 2nd time visiting. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Graydon's Crossing for the first time, and it was an absolute delight! The cozy atmosphere immediately set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. My friend and I decided to try the Caprese grilled cheese with bacon and the Chicken Sandwich, and we were blown away. The Caprese grilled cheese was a heavenly combination of gooey cheese and crispy bacon. The cheese pull was a showstopper, and every bite was a burst of flavor. The Chicken Sandwich, with its light and crispy breading and the perfect touch of jalapeño aïoli, was equally impressive. Each element came together harmoniously, creating a memorable dish. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service provided by our server. They were not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The overall ambiance of Graydon's Crossing, coupled with the delicious food and outstanding service, makes it a must-visit. I left with a satisfied palate and a strong desire to return for more culinary delights.

Yelp
Been to brunch a few times and the food is always amazing. My go to is the Ribeye & Mushroom Benedict, and my husband loves the breakfast burrito. Service is always great and we love the atmosphere at Graydon's. A Creston neighborhood stop for sure!

Mirna I.

Yelp
Came here with my friend. Both pescatarian. Had a little collection of appetizers for lunch. Lots of great options for vegetarians. The real winners were the shrimp and the asparagus dishes. Cool chill vibes to come watch a soccer game and relax. Their brunch options also sounded interesting.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, it feels so cozy in here. You NEED to try the stroganoff! so good

Renee J.

Yelp
It's been several months since our last visit. Overall, the quality of service and food wasn't as good as previous visits. Disappointed with the grilled bruschetta appetizer, served on one huge piece of bread cut in half, impossible to cut into serving sizes with a butter knife and bread soggy. Impressed with the flavorful naanwhich Overall all of our entrees were just ok. My short ribs were good, but the potatoes were overwhelming in portion, and the brocollini cold and overcooked. The cheesecake was good. As was the chef's choice skillet brownie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Their new order system should have resulted in quicker service, but it didn't. Also, thru don't present ypu with a printed bill, but handed over the device to swipe credit card and tip. It was only because that I asked for a printed receipt did I realize I was doubled charged gor some items. Too many other restaurants in Grand Rapids, that we will probably go to in the future...very sad, this place used to be a favorite place to go to.

Yelp
Celiac Foodie: 1st time here and I'll be back!! They have several Gluten Free options to choose from and they all sound so good! I ordered the Chicken Sandwich (Grilled) and it was delicious with Pickled Red Onions, Tomato, Kale and Jalapeño Aioli on top! Wow! So good! I also tried the Caramel Apple Cocktail and it was delicious! It's a must HAVE when you visit! No health issues after consuming my meal. Check this place out! Happy dining!!

Snowflake R.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent! Prices were amazing and quantities were huge! I am amazed the re is not a line out the door!

Mitchell L.

Yelp
A very comforting and cozy space to enjoy some delicious upgraded bar food! Everything was very delicious and the service was super friendly. Highly recommend the onion rings as they are phenomenal! Also, their draft selection is pretty diverse which is fun to come back and try more!

Lori V.

Yelp
Food is always excellent, service is good and didn't even have to wait during Sunday brunch.

Mina M.

Yelp
Came to down for a wedding and the rehearsal dinner was held here outside on the patio. I was so happy with my fish sandwich. It had a great ginger sauce and the fish was very crispy. Our server was personable and nice. We had a table of about 15-20 and he was super attentive and kept our drinks coming :) The chicken sandwich on the bagel was interesting.... I think our table agreed that we would order it in a bun if we got it again.

Mike B.

Yelp
Always been curious about this place and we finally tried it last night. Graydon's Crossing describes itself having a "cozy pub atmosphere with a perfect balance of traditional foods". They pretty much nailed it with that description. Met another couple here before a play on a busy Saturday night. Heard great things about the fish and chips so two of us ordered that along with a crispy fish sandwich and a burger. Absolutely loved the fish sandwich which was served on a Brioche bun with asian slaw and sweet ginger sauce. The fish and chips included a large piece of cod along with some pretty good fries. That looked and was excellent. Service was over the top good despite being extremely busy. Parking lot was small and full and seemed to be attached (not sure) to a pay lot. After a short time, I found nearby street parking. Will definitely be back hopefully to drink as well as their beer menu is as excellent as it is extensive.

Chris C.

Yelp
Great find..... I travel to GR several times a year but this place has not been on my radar for some reason. Great selection of beers, very cozy atmosphere, and good service. I got the Burnt Chili Salmon and was asked how I would like it cooked and stated mid-rare (now keep in mind that 9 out of 10 times it comes medium to well at typical spots unless I am at a high end restaurant). Because of this they received a 4 piece as please don't ask if you can't cook it to temp.....not a big deal for me as I thought the salmon dish was still amazing and look forward to coming back next time I am in town.

Yelp
Great weekend brunch spot just north of downtown. Traditional and creative pub menu, plenty of drafts, brunch drink specials and more; the casual ambience, friendly service, tasty comfort fare, filling portions makes this a fun eatery place! Overall, solid 4.0 rating with cost range $12-18pp. Today I tried their hearty Breakfast Burrito, filled with fresh scrambled eggs, Applewood bacon, fried potatoes, cheddar, giardinieras, and topped with Chorizo gravy - yum! Definitely gotta be hungry to finish this one! Friends tried the Shepards Pie, house-made, cooked perfectly with plenty of potatoes, tender meat and veggies. Served piping hot and plenty to share if you have a lighter appetite. The Asparagus and Mushroom Diane and Bang Bang Shrimp were excellent starters to share as well. Graydon's may be off the beaten path, but it's an eatery or watering hole worth visiting. Enjoy!!

Susie F.

Yelp
We got there pretty early. We were there for a brunch. The mimosa flight is great to share.

Jessica O.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch with my cousin on a Sunday. It was just the two of us so we sat up at the bar. I hadn't been here in awhile, but it was nice to try it again! They have a great selection of beers on tap; some Michigan, and some not. The brunch menu has some great offerings. My cousin had the "Proper Brekkie" and I had the "Copyright Sandwich." We were both really happy with our food! I also love that they are a soccer bar! They play the Premier League games on the weekends and have lots of Premier League team scarves around the bar area. I appreciate the English pub feel. The parking lot can be a little intense, especially the first time you go. There is more parking available than what it initially looks like. There are more spots available behind the building on the north side, but that may only be on weekends. Also beware, I had a scam parking ticket on my car after this visit. It did not have any indicator why I received the ticket, and has a QR code to pay the $25 fee. If you get one of these go online and see if it matches other scam parking tickets before trying to pay.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this place was sooo good!! This place was recommended on a Lansing Foodies Facebook group. We joined an old friend from college for drinks and dinner and I'm so glad we checked it out. It's an old building, but has plenty of character. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly server-Allison rocked it! We asked her to pick out her favorite appetizer and she brought us this super-cheesy truffle Mac and cheese. We had a few cocktail selections that were very elegant: The holy bliss (Tanquerary, blueberry puree, lemonade and lemon juice) and Violette Starry Night (Peacemaker gin, creme de violette, St. Germain, bubbles, lemon juice and lavender bitters) but our absolute fave was the Graydon's Lion (Buffalo Trace, allspice dram, lime juice, simple syrup, Angostura bitters served with a giant square cube). And, they brought out a complimentary beer flight from Archival Brewery, and who doesn't like free beer?!?) Great work from our bartender who served us well. It got better and better with the food: braised short ribs (with broccolini and blue cheese roasted potatoes-yum) it was served with a knife that was never used because the beef was so tender. Two of us ordered the chicken sandwich which was served on a bagel. When I read it was served on a bagel it didn't appeal to me because I thought "chewy", but my fam let me steal a bite and the bagel was actually "pillowy", and it was perfect with the chicken. I ordered the burger (I originally thought this was a boring selection but it sounded good, and Allison said it was her fave.) Sooo good! I added the onion rings, and they had the perfect crunch. Kudos to the chef and kitchen crew. Spot on. We hung out for a long time catching up, and Allison was attentive but we never felt pushed out the door which seems to happen more often than not now days. They also had an outdoor patio that was secluded and looked cute. We chose inside because we spent all day in the sun and needed a break, but next time I want to check out the patio-and there will definitely be a next time!!! Thanks, Graydon's!!

Lyn W.

Yelp
Traditional timeless with awesome fish and chips. Prompt service with proper bar service

Caden C.

Yelp
Food is alright, service is absolutely horrible I would not recommend unless you are okay with waiting over a hour for your food. Burger 16$ whattttt

John R.

Yelp
Excellent British style pub. Wide variety of beer and liquor to choose from and their cocktails are great too. Food was delicious, I enjoyed a shaved beef sandwich and companion had a juicy burger. Onion rings are awesome! Grand Rapids unofficial Tottenham Bar. Up the Spurs! COYS COYS COYS!

Susan M.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a work day. Service was quick. Food was decent. Not super delicious to me. But not horrible by any means. I had the bruschetta and it just didn't have enough garlic or flavor for me. Tasted a little bland.

Michael R.

Yelp
This place totally sucks now. I am so disappointed in another business ripping me off of my hard earned money like it was nothing. First they got rid of the best dry aged burger in GR, replaced it with some shit burger and told me it was just as good. I asked them about bacon on it and yea they put few crumbs of bacon and charged the same as if it was the thick cut applewood they use to use. Blue cheese is definitely not Stilton anymore it's crap. Now let's get to the salmon yuck gross I'm so pissed. I paid $24 for a shit piece of extra dried out tiny garbage piece of salmon, with some shitty cut up pieces of Brussels sprouts. I got this meal to go and impress my friend I was bragging about until we opened the boxes. I hope you go out of business or catch fire you ripped me off and you suck. Do not eat here it sucks sucks sucks

Kendall M.

Yelp
Located just north of downtown, Graydon's Crossing provides great food and drinks in an English Pub setting. I love the staff here at Graydon's; they are friendly, accommodating and always enthusiastic. They offer a plethora of beer options, including many local drafts, ensuring that there is something new and exciting for you to try no matter what your preference. I also love the fact that they have the Ketel One Botanical liquor options! Their bartenders are well-versed and can make almost any cocktail you can imagine. I particularly enjoy the Aperol Spritz. The food is elevated English/American pub fare. The Asparagus and Mushroom Diane is one of my favorite things to order here. The flavor is amazing and very well balanced. Caramelized onions and goat cheese keep the dish perfectly sweet and savory at the same time. I also enjoy their grilled cheese sandwich- it is available in both caprese and classic style. The sourdough bread was slightly too crunchy for my taste. The brunch menu here at Graydon's is extensive and there's no better way to cure a hangover than mimosas and Bloody Mary's while experiencing excellent classic brunch meals. Shout out to Mia, Danielle, Emily, Peter and the whole staff here at Graydon's Crossing. They work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is welcomed with warmth, cheer and excellent service. It should be noted that during the COVID shutdown, their patio is open and covered for full service dining. They have lots of heaters, but it's Michigan in December. Bring a coat, gloves and other winter gear to bundle up and enjoy everything Graydon's has to offer.

Angie A.

Yelp
Came for brunch - once. Food presented well. Service was lacking. Server unfriendly. Had to ask for everything even when she would stop by there were no refills on coffee / water. Had to ask for creamer like I was asking for an exception. Also felt like things weren't as clean as they should be.

Kathie B.

Yelp
I've been ordering home delivery from here since the pandemic began, but the past few orders have been less than desirable. Last night the fish and chips order was very disappointing. They didn't include any lemon or minted peas. The piece of fish was enormous but it was so overcooked I threw most of it out. The fries were also very overcooked and too dry to eat. I once thought they had the best fish and chips imaginable, but last night's order was terrible. Won't be ordering it again anytime soon.

Kelly C.

Yelp
The service was slow, understandable since busy holiday season. I got the short rib foccacia, and upgraded for 3.50 to onion rings. I literally got 3 onion rings, cold, greasy and coating just fell off. Barely any meat on sandwich and what was there slimey fat. For over $20 a rip off. Husband got fish and chips, bones in fish again greasy breading. BATHROOM unclean..We will never go back.

Emma T.

Yelp
As you walk in, this place as a great vibe. The walls are dark and the booths are comfortable. There is a large drink list with plenty to offer everyone. I had a grilled cheese that was tasty, though not particularity interesting. There are lots of vegetarian options if you need them, and lots of meat options if you don't. This is a solid place for a drink and dinner with amply parking!

Jamie W.

Yelp
They don't allow service dogs. Staff is rude and food is overpriced, don't waste your time coming here

Chip D.

Yelp
Food was excellent and a solid selection of beers. Small outside patio which is nice on those warm GR evenings.

Jerald D.

Yelp
Great little niche in an otherwise busy area. There brunch menu choices were awesome! We had the chicken sandwich and onion ring appetizer. The onion rings are huge!

Marya T.

Yelp
A classic for my husband and I. Love the fish and chips best. Always compare everyone else's to theirs. A drink for everyone too!

C C.

Yelp
This spot has perfect neighborhood bar qualities where ambiance is concerned and a fantastic little patio. The service isn't great but it's not that bad. The food is just SO hit or miss that today will most likely be my last visit. I've had the fish and chips 6 times and that has consistently been phenomenal. Anything else on the menu has mostly been disappointing. The chicken sandwich was a miss, so was the butter chicken, the asparagus & mushroom diane, the veggie hash and today was their vegetarian naanwich with vegan chorizo... super salty & no spice to the chorizo so that was a bummer. And these are just items I've tried. My guests have been 50/50 with what they've ordered on different occasions. Mostly overly salty & lack of flavor. I would have liked to try their brunch but I don't want to be disappointed again...

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Excellent service and drink specials! The menu is so substantial for " a bar". Even a few things for vegans and gluten free peeps. Laid back and friendly but attentive. The only reason 4 stars and not five is that the lot fills up on busy nights so paid parking might be the only option. On off nights 5 stars!!!!

Leonna W.

Yelp
My First time here and I order $20 cod for it to be black as me when I told a worker she said you want us to remake it we simply didn't have the time but yeah I'll never be back and if you smart you will not either by the way I don't want to pull the race card but we walked past a Caucasian couple they food was very presentable

John P.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Server was great. Food was atrocious. Shepherd's pie was over salted to the point of being inedible. Brussel sprouts were black. Burger that replaced shepherds pie was bad. Two Oberon's and the food we barely ate 2 bites of still cost $60 with tip. Will not return. Also. Ants. A lot of ants on the window sill next to our table.

Jerika N.

Yelp
This has remained one of my "comfort" spots in GR over the years. The food isn't blow-your-mind amazing, but it's consistent and just feels homey. I've always enjoyed getting beer flights here, and the scotch selection isn't bad for a random Irish/Indian fusion restaurant. They have an outdoor patio, which is a plus, and daily drink specials. The late night happy hours from 9p-midnight also mean you get a good pisco sour for $6. I had the shepherd's pie last time I came, since I'm a savory pie fan and there aren't too many spots you can get one around here. Didn't love the broccolini side, but it's not exactly Irish or Indian!

Amber H.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Green goddess salad is pretty darn tasty for a salad. Great tap selection. Small local hang in Grand Rapids.

B G.

Yelp
Stopped in for a pint of Guinness. Vinegary. Has happened before. Also they should have HP Sauce for the Shepherd's Pie. Really like the place otherwise.

Carol P.

Yelp
This nugget! Don't Judge the older structure before you have the entire experience. Love their cocktails. We had Aviations and they nailed it. The Brussels sprouts were probably the best I'll ever have. I know they will be hard to beat anywhere else for me for a long time. The Pimento cheese. Usually I steer clear of this. It can be very quickly made and taste very basic, because it actually is. But this recipe kicked it just a little extra. After these two dishes and two aviations, we were full. The portions are not tiny. Saturday late mornings, into early afternoon will be my time to come back! It was busy but also relaxing. Nice way to ease into the weekend!

Amber M.

Yelp
Wow just wow! I had high hopes for this place based off of friends reviews and it certainly delivered. I got the bells and whistles burger without cheese and it was amazing! So much flavor. The fried egg added a extra touch that took the burger to a new level, combined with the chipotle mayo and garlic aioli! It was so yummy! I highly recommend this burger. We didn't get to sit outside because it was drizzling but the back patio looked very cute and welcoming. Inside was definitely an English pub feel and the staff was great!

Maddie B.

Yelp
The food and drinks were good. They had a couple good vegetarian options. There is unfortunately a tree with bird nests above some of the outdoor seating. We ended up needing to move inside due to bird feces on our table and in our beverages.

Gayle R.

Yelp
Cozy pub atmosphere. Great service from the bartenders. My cocktail and fish and chips were amazing!

Food E.

Yelp
I am very disappointed in the cleanliness of this place not only were the booths covered in crumbs like no one has EVER LIFTED THE CUSHIONS THERE WERE ALSO DEAD BUGS AND SO MUCH DUST ON THE BACK OF THE BOOTHS AND THE BATHROOM WAS A DISGUSTING! Feeling pretty bummed that this is the condition of this place .. our server ALSO had dirt under her VERY SHORT NAILS ! Please take a sunday and have an all staff cleaning night and hire a manager to see to it the place stays clean!

Chris B.

Yelp
Best downtown pub and tavern collection of draft beers. Excellent British and dare I say "Irish" fare that will stuff you and delight you. Truly a gem off the beaten path that the locals would rather not tell you about.

Katy C.

Yelp
Graydon's Crossing is one of those places that I used to visit a lot, but tend to forget about recently. This is a mistake! They have a great patio, brunch, awesome cocktails, and some tasty food. My boyfriend and I met some friends at Graydon's for a late lunch the other day and got a spot on the patio. There is both shade and sun, which makes it great for anyone. The patio is under some maple trees, so we had a lot of the seed spinners floating down on us the whole time, but it didn't bug us at all. Their brunch menu includes some cocktail specials like a mimosa for $4 which is a pretty great deal. I got mine with orange juice and pineapple juice mixed. We got there right before the brunch menu ended, but I had my eye on the burger. My boyfriend got the breakfast tacos. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything looked great. One of our friends got the biscuits and gravy which was a massive plate! My burger was cooked properly and the fries are thin cut, which I love more than any other fries. The burger itself could have been seasoned a bit more but it was juicy and the bun held up well to the toppings. I would definitely be back to try more of their menu as it has changed a bit since I was last there. My boyfriend said that the breakfast tacos were some of the best he's ever had, so there you go! They have sweet potato and chorizo in them. We hung out a bit on the patio and had a few drinks after lunch. It was a super relaxing atmosphere and our server was great. They have a water cooler out on the patio for self-refills which is nice. Definitely a great spot for some warm weather hangs!

Ryan C.

Yelp
I really like this place, but the food is very inconsistent. The fish and chips are amazing when done right, but some weeks the fish is perfectly cooked, other weeks it's over done, hard and dried out like it was left in the fried too long. They change their menu every now and then, but they seem to get rid of some of their best dishes. I wish they would bring back the Philly cheese steak quesadilla and the Ron Burgundy pot roast.

Jenn C.

Yelp
The atmosphere is pretty cool we waited a little while to get a table, but it was worth it the food was very good. My husband ordered the house Bloody Mary which he said was excellent especially for five dollars, he got a little shot of beer with it too. To eat he ordered the eggs Benedict that he said was one of the best he has had! I ordered a gluten-free grilled cheese with the pesto and tomatoes it was excellent the bread was so good the fries that came with it were good. I ordered a pumpkin squash soup that was very good, but a little spicy, the pumpkin seeds that were on top of the soup were too salty for me. I just took them off and we also ordered an appetizer.. asparagus with goat cheese... it was excellent!

April C.

Yelp
We went for brunch on a Sunday and waited ten minutes for a table. Our party of four was seated on the top floor. There were about eight tables and only two were occupied. Not a big deal, but just wanted to note that. Their kitchen is located on the top floor and our table was right by the door, so there was a lot of shuffling of waitresses and waiters and fear of being smacked in the head with a tray during the entirety of our meal. We ordered: Thai Tofu Skillet: I cannot recommend this. This was very, very bland. The ingredients in the dish didn't really belong together. The Copyright: Again, little flavor. Too much english muffin to filling ratio in addition to the muffin having no flavor. Proper Brekkie: The sausage was good but this dish was missing the most important part - BEANS! Steak Hash: The steak was great quality. A single blueberry pancake: The table favorite. This thing was gigantic. I would come back just to order this. The honey butter they served with it was delicious. The service was lovely, however the brunch was mediocre.

Yelp
Our favorite local watering hole. Best items on the menu for dinner - shepherds pie, butter chicken, grilled cheese, burger and the onion rings are a must. They are the size of donuts and are FANTASTIC. Always great specials going on during the week and the brunch blueberry pancake shots are always a big hit. A true Grand Rapids staple.

Yelp
Love the outdoor patio area for dining! The service was great, our server was fast & friendly. Tried their updated menu and it did not disappoint. I like when restaurants change it up from time to time, but still nice to see some staple items like fish & chips, which by the way are the best in GR!

Yelp
The food here is generally good, although there can be an annoying unevenness in the quality. Sometimes the fish and chips is grand, other times it's meh. Service is always good and the atmosphere is very British pub-like, right down to some really uncomfortable seats. I'd eat there more often if the food quality was more predictable.

Yelp
Quintessential cozy pub right here. Great service, delicious and well-executed food from around the world. I had short ribs, my friend had tikka masala, and my bf had some sort of sandwich and all three were amazing.
