Graziano's Market Bird Road Review - Bird Road - Miami - The Infatuation

"This is the original location of what’s now become a big Miami chain of Argentinean markets and steakhouses. This original location is also the one with the best food. It’s a dependable spot to get a decent empanada if you’re looking for a quick bite. But you can also find ready-to-eat marinated tongue, ensalada rusa, and dozens of things overstuffed with dulce de leche. You can also get giant jars filled with the sticky caramelized milk, imported Argentinean steak, housemade pastas, and a solid selection of South American wines. There are a handful of tables inside, but this place is mainly a takeout operation." - Carlos C Olaechea

Google
The best caprese empanadas, good service, kind staff

Two Sisters Bookkeeping

Google
I had always come to this place to buy delicious Argentinian empanadas but I had never come here for breakfast. Finally, we came in the morning and we were impressed with such a delicious breakfast, big size and well prepared. We will definitely return.

Patricia Gonzalez

Google
These are best baked empanadas in town and it's not even close. There is also a wide variety of other breakfast and lunch items on their menu. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. It's always a pleasure to enjoy a meal at Graziano's Market. I highly recommend it. 😁

Anau Enterprises

Google
Terrible customer service from the manager, a young Peruvian guy who was extremely rude and unprofessional. We arrived at 7:46 PM and from the moment we walked in, he made it clear that they would be closing at 8:30 PM—even though there were still people sitting and eating. He basically rushed us out. Our food and coffee were served cold. This place used to be one of my favorites, but after this experience, I will never come back. Absolutely disappointing.

Google
Bakery with overwhelming assortment of fresh, tasty pastries, tortes, pies, croissants and so much more! Space also has a solid wine shop, herbs like Yerba Mate , and a well stocked butchers counter. I was brought by an Argentinian friend for breakfast while visiting Miami and came back the next day for more. Highly recommend the stop to check it out … be warned it’s tucked in a bit hard to find from the main street but it is basically where your GPS says even if not easy to see when you turn into the strip mall.

I have been coming to Graziano’s Mercado for years and looking forward to my cappuccino. I recently found out the whip cream was removed from the cappuccino. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Who drinks a cappuccino without whip cream. I say BRING IT BACK!!!

Yelp
Graziano's is everywhere, and they're all pretty great from my experience. This one on Bird Rd has great parking, both for the restaurant and the market section. The mercado has a great wine selection, a bakery section, an extensive selection of empanadas, and you can order lunch entree and sit down in a nice area to eat. This time I came for the empanadas, and they didn't disappoint. I had the meat empanadas, the chicken, and the ham and cheese. The Meat empanadas have mildly seasoned ground beat with things like visible caramelized onions, raisins, and a small amount of chopped hard boiled eggs (traditional ingredient). The crust is very nicely executed, shinny, crunchy, and tasty. The Chicken empanada wasn't my favorite. They used very mildly season shredded white meat chicken that is not juicy at all. It was bordering on dry, but I did go early so I imagine that it only gets dryer in the afternoon. The Ham and Cheese empanada was excellent--just the right amount of ham and cheese. there are no surprises in this one. They also make a great churrasco and steak sandwich. I've had both. I would skip the Cuernitos, which are horns-shaped small breads that are too dense here. The flavor is on point, but I recommend passing on them unless you're going to take them home and heat them up before eating them.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, clean establishment, great service overall. Market and butcher shop is a plus!

Yelp
This place is not what it used to be. Sándwich de miga - apart from being super expensive.. they use OLD ham.. the azufre has now been cut in half and twice the price.. like owner has always been on the cheap side but this is ridiculous.. and they still make money doing this shit.. shameful

Yelp
Yum yum yum... Enjoyed these empanadas: Quick pick up on the way home. Mine: SPICY BEEF/ CARNE PICANTE + MOZARELLA, TOMATO, BASIL/ CAPRESE His: MEAT/CARNE + TUNA/ GALLEGA I enjoyed my choices and got to try his tuna/Gallega... I didn't hate it! trying new things. He enjoyed what he ordered and that's what matters. He also loves the pastries he's here weekly. Service was quick! Grab a # and keep it moving.

Yelp
I give this Graziano's on Bird Road 3 stars because it's nothing compared to the one in the Coral Gables location. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions about the different types of pastries. The empanadas were delicious, especially the ground beef ones. The ham and cheese sandwiches on white bread were mediocre, so-so. I can't believe a little box of those sandwich's cost $22. Total rip off!!! You would be better off buying jamon viejo and cheese and plain white bread cutting the crust off to make your own gourmet sandwiches at home. I probably won't go back because my personal preference is the one of Coral Gables.

Yelp
The major, major downfall it's the food cost (be it the sweets from the bakery, hot food or deli market) it's pricey. For example some of their personal desserts are $8!!! Definitely can be a little lower like $5 or even $5.99. Another downfall for being on the pricey side the market and bakery is very outdated. You would think they'll have the money to modernize it or at least put newer tiles, fix the wall paint and ceiling. Now positives: the girl from the bakery that has helped my mom and I the 2 times we've come has always been very nice and attentive. She has been patient to explain the various paninis. We went with what she suggested half a panini and a cup of soup. The paninis as well as the soup tasted homemade like you're eating grandma's food. My mom and I enjoyed it. We've had their chicken soup, beef soup, and pumpkin (well my mom tried the pumpkin I didn't but she loved it). As in paninis we've tasted their Next Door and Iberico - both amazing! Next Door consists of prosciutto parma, mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, basil and olive oil. Iberico consists of Spanish Serrano ham, manchego cheese and sun dried tomatoes. I have to say the strecci doppio bread they put it on is very soft and tender.

Yelp
Terrible service in the food is really bad, used to be better but now I seen this place is going downhill every time I come, The mash potatoes are made out of powder nasty Minute Maid and under cooked , they don't even have enough decency to make real mashed potatoes Prices are super expensive this place is a total rip off which is a shame because the place is good looking inside, look at the shiny greasy steak Milanese , shame , where is management here ?
google avatar

Rolando G.

Yelp
I've come here for breakfast and lunch and both times it's been wonderful. Do yourself a favor (or flavor) and if you're in need of energy - pick up a cappuccino. It's ridiculous how good it is and how awesome it looks! Also, if you're here for breakfast - there's a ton of dishes to choose from but it was sufficient to get a delicious croissant with ham and cheese. For lunch their most popular dish is the churrasquito - which isn't small at all. The best part about it is the secret chimichurri sauce - just put it on everything! Last but not least - if you're looking for a good snack look for the pan de miga with ham and cheese, they're deliciously packed in a box of 12 for $15 right by the entrance.

Yelp
I want to thank Horacio for resolving an issue I had with a purchase yesterday. He was very efficient and understanding. Thank you.

Yelp
The best Argentinian fracturas in South Florida! Whenever I'm feeling a little home sick, I know I can go to Grazianos and get my Argentinian fix :). It has become a family tradition to purchase Grazianos facturas for the holidays or birthdays. They also have other delectable desserts, empanadas and tasty meals! Not to mention endless options of wines and Argentine goodies! The staff is always so nice and helpful! Will be back on my next trip to Miami!

Yelp
I really love this place. I used to think Cuban empanadas were the best out there but man, Argentinans give us a run for our money. The empanadas here are so flavorful. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Let's not even go to the desserts. Jk. The desserts are just way to delicious to not talk about it. They have croissants that have dulce de leches. To be honest, just get anything that is made with dulce de leches and you will be eating something legendary but they are so goooood. They also have a butcher shop that where you can purchase meat. I personally haven't bought meat from them but I have had a nice piece of steak(gaucho steak) at their restaurant that is connected. That's a whole different review. Lol Overall, I love this place. I'm glad that my friend brought me here. I'm usually skeptical when someone recommends me a place but not this one.

Yelp
I used to go a lot as a kid with my dad to Graziano's for the best empanadas in town and this past weekend we were in the area and decided to stop by for a late lunch. Located on 92 ave and off Bird Road this is the original location and it has grown over the years. So I decided to order one ham and cheese empanada, a prosciutto sandwich with fries, and a ham crepe sandwich. I came away a little disappointed, the empanada was baked but the ham and cheese filing were very dry and not gooey like how I remembered. The crepe sandwich was large and also consisted of slices of boiled egg, tomatoes, and lettuce, however it lacked any flavor. The prosciutto sandwich came on a baguette, which would of been better if was warm. I think the best part of the meal were the french fries which were nice and crispy. For the price I payed I was expecting something better, for that I would choose another gourmet market instead of this one.

Yelp
Today is Saturday. Ordered a cake for today 9 am. They told me they open 7 am I keep calling no one answers & their voicemail is full. Keeps saying to callback later!!! It's 10 am now

Yelp
This is a small bakery / market. There was no line but it was none stop customers walking in and out. There is so much to choose from and it was all so YUMMERS!!! Parking outside is a bit small but there are more parking spots in the back near the Graziano's restaurant. We tried four different types of empanadas: * carne * caprese * tomate basil * chorizo They were all so good!!! The café con leche and the amazing amount of foam ( espumita galore!!! ) We ordered two breakfast entrees Next Door and Breakfast BLT. The market side has a great selection of meats and wine!!!

Yelp
Graziano's Market has taken care of my belly lol a few times. Their Menu: Very desirable. Honestly they have one of each here. Their paninis, sandwiches, lunches, breakfasts and even variety of water. What? I couldn't decide for a favorite, sorry try them all. They have good Argentinian empanadas. I was once sick and co-workers showed up with a box and surprisingly I devoured them all. My only reason for not offering a 5 stars here is their prices. I know each business have to do what it takes to show profit. But I have seen outraged customers with their prices. Specially a soup and a sandwich. You could be surprised. Also my friend's order was only 1 out of 3 items on point. Portions are good and I enjoy everything like I said.

Jose G.

Yelp
I bought some churrasco beef (outside skirt) and it was fresh and delicious. It was not USDA graded but it was as good or better than other Prime beef or Black Angus. Great butcher shop.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is good like always but the customer service now SUCKS!!!!! These new people there have e the worst customer service. They don't even greet you. You should have kept the people that worked for you before, you would Come in and everyone would greet you and knew you. What a way of ruining your business

Yelp
A great place for lunch; but, the meat counter is to die for! Say goodbye to the Meat People, this place has the beef... I love going here, because it's Italian (Argentinian Italian) but close enough. Entirely worth the trip for quality gourmet food items and some decent wine selections, and that butcher counter. Don't miss the bakery/Deli, Yummy!

Yelp
(With the exception of the parking lot) This little market is awesome They have (what I believe to be) the BEST empanadas. They have a bunch of baked goods as well as sandwiches and some salads. But really what makes this place so awesome is the quality of meat they sell. They churrasco is amazing, add some chimichurri & throw it on the grill and you are SET.

Yelp
There are several Grazianos locations in Miami. Some locations are only restaurants, while others include a marketplace where you can shop for goodies. Reviews can get confusing with so many locations... I love coming to this location in particular, even though it is far from home, because the ladies who work at this market are amazing. They are friendly and very attentive. I always feel comfortable when I come here. I love to come and get hot coffee and some empanadas. I truly believe that these are the best empanadas in town. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny. Definitely a must try!

Yelp

Yelp
Grazianos Mercado has just about everything when looking for the perfect place to plan your next insane BBQ. The meats! They have a variety of different meats you can buy for that hot burning backyard grille! Churrasco, Rib-Eye and Filet Mignon to name a few. The best part of this market are the empanadas! Huge selection of house made empanadas. You can get a box of six or a dozen. It's like walking into a doughnut shop but instead they serve empanadas. You can't go wrong with the traditional flavors such as chicken and beef. They also have ham and cheese, mushroom and chorizo just to name a few. Plenty of parking available within the store's lot. Very easy to get to - off of Bird Road and 92nd Avenue. This place is a mini market. You can even find salts for your meats. Great place to find anything you need for a nice BBQ. Very clean and organized on the inside. They also have food to go by the pound.
google avatar

Meli R.

Yelp
Las mejores facturas en Miami!!! I have had facturas from every Argentine restaurant in South Florida and none compare. The service here is always top notch. If it is your first time trying facturas, I recommend Dulce de Leche Croissant and "vigilantes".
google avatar

Sharay S.

Yelp
A quick and delicious stop for the full argentine pallet! I spent a few weeks in Argentina and this place has about as close as you can get to a market in Argentina. They have a great market and I found mate there that I had only been able to find in Buenos Aires. Great empanadas with lots of yummy options. I had a pear, bacon and cheese empanada - so good! They also have a coffee bar and lots of bakery items and facturas. I also hear the restaurant is great too and that's where you need to go for all your meat.
google avatar

Robert V.

Yelp
The empanadas are very good, I have also had the milanesas and it's good also. Very nice pastry selection The only minus on this place are the prices, a little high in my opinion

Maria C.

Yelp
Great empanadas and desserts. Also the meat, sausages and morcillas are the best!!!!!!!
google avatar

Paossica R.

Yelp
I REALLLLLY want to leave this place a good review because the food, although slightly overpriced, is really good. But i placed an order for mother's day on Friday, thinking i can come pick it up on sunday and be on my way, even do a 15 minute line or so. Nope, unfortunatey i get here and am told to stand in line that is, not exaggerating, 15 people deep. Only one lady is servicing the line, and people ordering take their sweet time. The wait for this place is not worth the aggravation. Again, a real shame because the food is good, but be ready to waste/wait at minimum an hour to get serviced.
google avatar

Miguel P.

Yelp
Great meat but horrible Service. My parents went to buy meat for a bbq and were treated very rudely by the butcher. They lost a customer. You cannot be arrogant to your clientele. They left everything and went to another place to buy
google avatar

C M.

Yelp
Our go to place to buy good meat and roast it in the Barbecue, specially Churrasco. We also buy blood, meat sausage. They also have a bakery that made awesome cakes, or try their patty of different fillings, my favorite is meat. The wine selection is plentiful & imported from Argentina :-)

Yelp
Disappointed, I. Drove to My favorite Che Tano on Kendall and 137 to see CLOSED/FOR RENT signs on the door :'( What is there to do??? Consult Yelp, of course!! Remembered having gone once to Grazianos. Drove all the way back to Bird and 92 , went in and again, all was right with the world. (of course that was before the government shut-down. Oy!) I tried to order in Spanish and the lady behind the cooked food counter kept saying "English English" But, I said, How will I learn Spanish, then?..to which She replied "Then how will I learn English?" Touche! I bought 6 empanadas all different, all delicious. plus a couple dessert ones, guyaba y queso y apple. An antipasti made with chunks of slightly familiar meats and hard cheeses and all kinds of veggies. Buffalo Mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, Alubia beans and Wrappers to create my own empanadas, Ran quickly past the fresh meat counter..saving this for another trip,(soon!) grabbed a bottle of Malbec, some chocolate alfajores and contemplated a great meal all the way home. It was!
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
Hands down best empanadas. Whether you like fried or baked you are sure to love these. Most of their selections are baked, but the 3 cheese empanada is fried and of course delicious. My favorite empanada has tomatoes, cheese and oregano. Don't recall the specific name, but the oregano and tomatoes are a great combination of flavors. The market also has a variety of desserts, wines and a butcher shop. The butcher shop has great cuts of beef, very good quality. They have a great selection of wines and are very well priced. I am lucky to have one so close to my house. Only problem you never walk out of there spending less than $10, everything is so yummy and the empanadas are not cheap, but so well worth it.
google avatar

Mary e.

Yelp
Nice selection of Argentine specialties; cheeses, pastas (frozen), beef and sausages and deli meats. They have a bakery where you can get yummy breads and deserts (pasta frola is really good) and a few tables to have a coffee or tea and some pastries. There is also a good wine selection priced reasonably. The butcher counter is so-so. I don't like that you ask for 2lbs (or whatever) and they give you 3 or 4. The Parma cotto ham is to die for, when they have it (and it is not cheap, but worth every dollar). I really like this place but I wish the employees were friendlier. I come here a lot (and have been for years) but i just don't get that lovin' feelin'.
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
This place has been around for years and years. It seems to have expanded. They not only have the freshest meat, but also a large assortment of different empanadas (flour dough with meats and/or other goodies inside and baked), other prepared foods, wines, supplies, and even the traditional Argentinian treats--alfajores (for 14.99, but I resisted the urge to buy!). The meat is of the best quality and the empanadas were SPECTACULAR. I was wishing I lived closer so I could get more ... all the time. It's a good thing I don't... I'd spend a fortune on a new larger wardrobe! If you are making an asado (Barbeque) or need some sides or appetizers, you must go here. The place was open at 7:30 on a Sunday... and was packed even before 10am... I am guessing they don't need this rave review, but I could not resist sharing. Seriously worth the drive to Miami!

Maribel N.

Yelp
It was ok, I did expect more quality on the food. I rate restaurants based on quality, presentation, cleanness and service. One of the things that I expect is to be served things that I can not make at home, if I can do it better ( I am no chef) then why go spend money. I order the burrata appetizer and it was a let down ( see picture) it was missing a glaze or sauce something to make it pop but instead it was just a piece of toast with a plain burrata and some olives . The cowgirl steak was good just good, a little overcooked, nothing to go back to. Wine was either super expensive, I'm talking about 300-500 bottle and by the glass not to many choice, nothing I liked. The place was clean and inside looks better than outside. I give it 3 stars over all
google avatar

Mohamed M.

Yelp
Worst place ever. Food was late and after it came it was wrong. I returned it 4 times and at the end they insisted they changed it. I dont eat pork and they said they made a new one and this wasnt the case. The manager is completely unprofessional so is the staff. She said i'll just refund the proce of the sandwich. As she was doing so she charged me again for the sandwich. These people are liars scammers and totally disrespectful. I'm reporting them to the better business bearuea. Stay away from this place
google avatar

Mari C.

Yelp
I loooooove everything about this place. Great coffee, sandwiches, huge variety of argentinian empanadas, delicious desserts and great service. The buchers are awesome, they are very helpful and accommodating and have a big selection of meats, sausages, milanesas are the best!. Great selection of wines too!

Yelp
My husband had been raving about the empanadas here for a while. So we're driving West on Bird Rd. He realizes that we just passed Grazianos and asks if I want to try the empanadas. He actually did not wait for my response before going all Miami driver on me and making a U-turn to go back. I wasn't really hungry so I stuck with a meat empanada and he got the chicken. First of all, the girl behind the counter was all impatient and rolls eyed. I guess I took too long in deciding on which one I wanted. Then after my husband paid, he turned around to hand the tray to me. It took all of 3 seconds, but that was too long for her to hold our change, so she threw it on the scale. Mind you, there were no other customers waiting. Now to the actual empanadas. I took a bite of my meat empanada and was not thrilled at all. I mean, it was not bad but not delish. My husband noticed right away, so he offered to swap. The chicken was much better. Although I wanted a little something sweet, the pickin's were slim, so I passed. Since the reviews are mainly very good, I'm willing to give it another shot some day. And I o want to try their meats for grilling.
google avatar

Olivia M.

Yelp
My husband and I each had a panini: muffuletta for him and napolitano for me. Both were delicious. Our kids had empanadas and steak (perfectly cooked). Generous portions and delicious flavors. Definitely recommend.

Gregory S.

Yelp
Best empanadas, awesome variety. If your not sure about empanadas, that's because you haven't tried Graziano's. You'll love them. Great local place with an Argentine influence for an expresso, pasties and treat yourself to fresh squeezed Florida valencia orange juice. Skip Starbucks and give this place some love.

Jenny B.

Yelp
Very good meats that is cooked in the kitchen, they also has meat market an array of products, cheeses and wines. There's also a bakery with a hard to choose desert or pastries. I always buy the uncooked morcilla Argentina an my wine is San Felipe Cabernet Sauvignon

Emilenko R.

Yelp
Awesome mercado el corte de carne es exclusiva para bbq la pasta papelo italiana riquísima

Yelp
Cha Cha, is all the Argentine ? Italian Spanish you need to know there. This gringo has always been lucky as to deal with some very wonderful people there, I've gotten great Vacia (flap meat, and tri tip there, and they have a great array of empenada's! The ethnic food there is prime Argentinean and Peruvian, so it's fun to see what the lower side of the continent is dining on. Bravo for them!

Yelp
Yesssss I love the Graziano's market. My FAVORITE place to get empanadas. The meat ones are by far the best ones , but they have chicken, spinach, ham & cheese, mozzarella/tomato, and many more that are all awesome. Argentinian wines Argentinian meat Argentinian sweets Anything Argentinian you can find here. A little pricey, but everything taste great. They have a few tables in the cafe area with a large flat screen TV where you can sit down and munch on something while watching a soccer game or Argentinian news.
google avatar

Lorraine M.

Yelp
Love sitting in the little market cafe and sipping my cortadito.... Not traditional but delicious. The meat pastries are out of this world. My favorites... Roquefort, cheese and onion and the spicy meat. Yummy. The Argentinian version of finger sandwiches are a hit with my picky son. Likes stopping off after school to get a snack. And when I need good steak.. I wander over to the meat counter and pick up a couple of vacio strips- prime - tender enough to cut with a fork when grilled right. Don't forget to pick up a jar of their own chimichurri sauce - you will be dining like a King... Or at least a prince.

Yelp
So, I have been to graziano over coral gables several times and I LOVE IT!!!! It's a 5 start spot. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming and everything is great. However, I was around the area and I decided to stop by since Graziano has such great reputation. I was in shock!!! The place looks dirty, not well maintained, old. On top of all, I ordered a lasagna, the pasta was so chewy, almost like they didn't cook enough. The sauce was good. The meat was so so. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and tasted oil. Although the waiter was very nice, she was clueless . This is not what I'm used from graziano. I would go to coral gables just to get an expresso with empanada from graziano. I must confess that the variety of sweets is a little bit different and they do have option that I haven't seen in the other locations. So, I recommend this place for a coffee and bakery. You wouldn't be disappointed if that is all you want it.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Best steak but bad, bad, bad, service. Spoke to them in spanish and English, still cut my vascio in strips like a kabob. WTH I bought for 10 people it looked like cheap steak strips. I wanted thin steaks not strips. I told him several times and second batch was ok but still had strips not steaks. Communication is bad in any language, floors need to be replaced. Ruined my bbq.

Yelp
My favorite Sunday morning breakfast spot-- or any day, at any time eating spot. The food here is simply delicious. From the empanadas to the pastries, sandwiches and other Argentinian delicacies it's all good. Don't be scared of trying something new -- at Graziano's you can't go wrong. Yes, it's pricey but the food is worth it!
