Graziano's is everywhere, and they're all pretty great from my experience. This one on Bird Rd has great parking, both for the restaurant and the market section. The mercado has a great wine selection, a bakery section, an extensive selection of empanadas, and you can order lunch entree and sit down in a nice area to eat. This time I came for the empanadas, and they didn't disappoint. I had the meat empanadas, the chicken, and the ham and cheese.
The Meat empanadas have mildly seasoned ground beat with things like visible caramelized onions, raisins, and a small amount of chopped hard boiled eggs (traditional ingredient). The crust is very nicely executed, shinny, crunchy, and tasty.
The Chicken empanada wasn't my favorite. They used very mildly season shredded white meat chicken that is not juicy at all. It was bordering on dry, but I did go early so I imagine that it only gets dryer in the afternoon.
The Ham and Cheese empanada was excellent--just the right amount of ham and cheese. there are no surprises in this one.
They also make a great churrasco and steak sandwich. I've had both. I would skip the Cuernitos, which are horns-shaped small breads that are too dense here. The flavor is on point, but I recommend passing on them unless you're going to take them home and heat them up before eating them.
