Taylor Gourmet Founder Set to Open a Downtown Restaurant Selling Subs, Fried Chicken, and Ice Cream - Eater DC

"Former owner of the Taylor Gourmet hoagie chain Casey Patten is adding another location for his new sub shop Grazie Grazie, reports the Washington Business Journal. The outpost is headed to downtown D.C. at 1100 15th Street NW (the same Midtown Center development as Dauphine’s), and Patten will sell more than Philly cheesesteaks." - Adele Chapin

I was the first customer of the day as soon as they opened up. Had their version of a chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce. There was also a generous sizes of mozzarella cheese on it. Sandwich was great. The tables were not very clean from the day before. They eventually attended to it after being open for 20 minutes. Can’t go wrong with getting a hot sandwich here.

This is the most spectacular restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and if you are looking for an amazing sandwich shop this is the place to go. On top of that there was an angel of a human who works there (I didn’t even get her name but she had a cool fade). I came in a tad bit early to grab food based on a recommendation from a local because I fly in and out of DC for slightly invasive medical procedures I need. I had to make sure I ate something and probably would not have if this sweet person didn’t have the kindness to, before hours, make me a sandwich for me. She was a blessing and I was able to have the procedure and run to my flight while being able to eat something. Grazie Grazie, I will be back for you and I will recommend this place to everyone! The best and yummiest food, the best staff! Thank you again!

Delicious! We tried the chop Italian sandwich and a salad! Great portions! And very nice location.

Great staff, amazing food, and overall terrific atmosphere. It will leave you really saying Grazie! I throughly enjoyed my after work lunch with a friend here, we were treated with care and it showed that the staff took pride in their work. Environment cleanliness was top notch and food was spectacular. 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered delivery and the cheesesteak was fantastic. Flavorful, generous with the meat, and the toppings were excellent. The only knock I’d give is that something to dip the fries in would be nice (I didn’t see an option for anything). That said, they give you a ton and I barely made a dent. Great place!

Grazie Grazie has amazing pizza. I work right around the corner. My coworkers and I go here way too much but the food is great and it keeps bringing us back! The mozzarella cubes and pizzas are our favorites. The first couple of times was weird because the pickup station is not where you pick up your food and the first time we ordered, the restaurant accepted an order when they were closed so we had to ask for refunds the next day. It's been smooth as possible since then and the staff is always super friendly!!

There are times when you walk past some place and after a while you take a chance and go inside. Today I went to “Grazie Grazie” located at 1875 K Street, WDC. The store layout is incredible because you know from the start that you’re eating either inside or taking it to go. I placed my order via a very large screen with visual pictures and descriptions of the items. The menu is very vast from pizza to sandwiches. Today I got a “Marathon and Waffle Fries.” This was hands down the BEST sandwich that I’ve had in a very long time. The ingredients were fresh, and amazing cuts of meats and the freshest bread. My Waffle Fries were great, and the entire meal was delicious. This was definitely the first time I’ve been to this restaurant, but it won’t be my last. Enjoy!

Amazing food ! Sandwiches are great. Great taste for a great price. Potato salad doesn’t disappoint at all. The chocolate cookies are soft. I made a last minute catering order and Leo the manager from Grazie made it possible! Thank you so much to her and her incredible team! The picture doesn’t do the food justice but everything was incredible.
