Great Buns Bakery

This bakery has a lot of bread and deserts to pick from. I javent tried any of the breads but I have tried the coconut macaroons, apple cake, and a cherry Danish. They were all very good and fresh, the order i stated them in was the order i liked them most to least favorite. The service was friendly and the price of the deserts I purchased was very reasonable. I will be returning!

Fantastic bakery where we go to have our sweetest dreams come true. This bakery has some of the widest and freshest bread and pastries items you can find here in Las Vegas. Besides all the fresh daily baked items, their dedicated staff have made it their mission to spread joy and happiness, one delicious bun at a time. Every single person we spoke with today greeted us with a big smile and friendly words. Just look at the photos we posted to this review if you wish to see all this bakery has to offer. One of the best bakery shops in town. It isn't just affordable, their baked goods taste amazing! On top of that, the staff are incredibly nice, polite, and so helpful. It's always a pleasure to visit!

HEARING PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THIS PLACE. HUBBY AMD I DECIDED TO GO SEE WHAT THEY OFFERED. AND JUST WOW A LOT OF BREADS AND PASTEIES TO CHOOSE FROM. SO HAD TO BUY A FEW BOXES TO TAKE BACK TO LOS ANGELES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Went with my 3 yr old daughter who didn't know any better and accidently grabbed a bit too many of the plastic twist ties and the shorter lady behind the register goes to yell at her like she was a dog telling her "no no no no!" Making her cry instantly. She's 3 and would have understood better if she actually spoke to her more politely, then she showed zero sincerity when we addressed how rude she sounded. The other staff member tried to make nice but other lady kept her same rude energy.

The bread here is fresh! The store super clean. The workers welcoming. All the 7 breads I grabbed. Were gone in 2 days. Delicious variety of cupcakes. My favorite, *3 leches cupcake *cinnamon rolls. * baguettes

Great service. I went in to get Hot Cross buns, the ones they had on the counter had some icing of some kind on them so not traditional.. I asked about it and the lovely lady was able to get my plain ones without any fuss at all. They are very delicious too, wish I had bought many dozen. Will be back.

Wow! Great Buns Bakery is absolutely amazing! Hands down one of the top bakeries I've had the pleasure of visiting. Not only do they have every manner of bagel, bread, roll and croissant, they also have cookies, cakes, pastries and danishes. Staff was super friendly, and all the bread and pastries we chose so far have been delicious. What was also fun was when you enter, look to your left and you can glance through to the back and see the "behind the scenes" of the bakery in full swing. The prices here are extremely affordable too. It's almost unbelievable. They even have a large rack of breads and other "day old" items that are reduced in price even further. Simply can't say enough good things about the excellent quality & selection offered here. Definitely go check them out if you haven't already.

Great Buns, Great Cakes and Great Crumb cakes!!! Love...love...love...this bakery! They have a huge selection of fresh baked goods. You can get loaves and cakes and you can get a slice or a piece, for one, to go. The employees are super friendly, & helpful. I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes, on my way to work. The parking is right out front for an easy in and out visit. Check it out!

Well it's official, I'm hooked! This delicious bakery has been around for almost as long as I have. They provide many local businesses including some of your favorite restaurants their awesome breads and rolls. Can't believe I just discovered it a few weeks ago. It's a massive operation with so much going on. The retail shop is filled with many different types of breads, dinner rolls, bagels, pastries, cookies, muffins, cakes, and pies. Everything is made that morning but they do also offer discounted day old goods that are in a designated section. The aroma of butter and yeast in the early mornings is something else. My mouth begins salivating before I even get out of my car. When I get home after a visit the very first thing I do is throw a mini French baguette into the oven for about a minute and then spread some Trader Joe's cultured butter from Brittany, France and of course a light sprinkle of Maldon sea salt. Pure bliss! And for the rest of the day I'll snack on insanely good carbs and work them all off at Red Rock. Some of my faves so far - the white chocolate raspberry loaf. 10 out of 10! The French bread and rolls. So soft inside with a slightly crunchy exterior. Fab! Challah for the best French toast ever. Small pizza-like focaccia with tomatoes and cheese that just need to be heated up in an oven for a few minutes are so easy and perfect for dinner. The multigrain & wheat breads perfect for deli style sandwiches. Croissants are flakey and delicate. My man loves their cinnamon swirl bread. And of course I always have to get my mom a creamy cannoli. Never ever buying bread at any of our local grocery stores again. Thank you for being open to the public!

This place is fantastic!!! It smells so good when you walk in. When you walk in you're greeted by amazing smells and friendly cashiers. Everything is freshly made, and you could tell by the taste that they use quality ingredients. This was my first time going inside but it won't be my last!! I wish I would've taken more pictures, as they have a wide selection of bread, bagels, cupcakes and pastries. It's something for everyone

My spot for Specialty breads, donuts, pastries, sweets, desserts and other bakery items that I cannot find anywhere else. This was a hidden gem years ago and they have been around for a very long time. Years ago they were more involved in catering to the restaurants and catering companies. Now they are serving a strong share of us customers and we are loving it! Mmmmm I was so happy when they made the move and welcomed us regular family and mom & pop customers. Fresh Fresh Fresh! I used to get the 3 piece "big Mac style" buns mmmmm. If they don't make it you don't need it, so many goodies to choose from. I forgot to leave a review after my prior visit so I am making sure to leave one after this most recent trip. If their little caption was close to me, I would stop by every day! I do have to drive across town but it is so worth it.

Called during Lent looking for Hot Cross Buns to take for a church gathering, could see old reviews about customers picking them up for their families and they have them listed on their website under pastries but called 3 times and my husband called twice, only to be told they never heard of them, they don't know what they are, they don't think they make those types of buns. And twice we've been transferred to their upstairs office only to be hung up on or asked to leave a message. How can your employees not know what your bakery advertises to make, especially during Lenten season? So confused and brushed off. Take them off your list of pastries if you don't make them. Obviously all your employees have no clue what they are.

This place is a lot of fun. There is so much to choose from and the prices are great. They were adding fresh almond croissants and other breads when I arrived around 11 am. I have a feeling.the earlier you go the greater the selection. Lots of other people were loading up with their preferred items when I arrived. Its very close to the strip. The crunch roll i had was very good, not too sweet

Best bread in town! Local owned business that supplies to your favorite restaurants and Sandwhich shops. Walk in bakery has a large variety of goodies and fresh baked breads! The Sourdough is my favorite!

Apparently this place baked for a lot of the buffets/hotels. So much to choose from! You pick a box or tray and start filling with your favorite picks! The cinnamon roll is huge as the other pastries are too! Fairly priced. I have to hit this spot every time I'm in Vegas! They close early tho. I'm a late eater, especially for sweets!

We are hooked on their raisin bread loaf! Not to mention some other baked items. Coffee cakes, cookies, you name it. It's all good.

Ugh they ruined my day. Service from the lady's is HORRIBLE. I walked out. I would fire the entire front counter help there attitude is sad. They got my last dollar ever

I occasionally purchase items here for my friend. Every time I walk it in it smells so good. It is always clean and they provide tongs or plastic gloves for items. Sometimes I have to get items behind the counter and they are very helpful even when they are busy. They also sell seasonal item. I recently saw pumpkin bread. Next time I need to purchase items for Self.

Fresh bread and many options. The price is reasonable, not at all expensive! It's very clean and not packed.

My friend told me about this place a few years ago. I ordered Kimmelwick rolls for the Super Bowl here so we could make roast beef sandwiches in the style of Buffalo, NY. I ordered them three days ahead of time, two sheet pans which was 30 rolls for around $18.00. Great price, and they were outstanding! They make fresh bread here daily and every kind you can imagine! They also have a shelf with day old bread at a discount. I bought the cinnamon swirl bread and some bagels too. The bagels are fantastic and the cinnamon roll bread was not too sweet! I will be back here from now on, and will be ordering these Kimmelwick rolls regularly!

I was searching for a good sour dough bread for sandwiches and toast. GBB provided a large loaf of square bread that made perfect sandwiches. I also picked up a smaller long loaf of the same bread to use for a snack option. Good pricing, great service and great food.

I was recommended to this bakery by a friend she said they supply the local resteraunts . Im so glad i went....Wow what an amazing bakery! They have a huge selection of breads and sweets! They have good service and pricing is super affordable especially during these times. I love how they have the bakery set up for self serve as well. The inside is neat and clean as well. I will be coming here for all my bread and sweets for now on. I highly recommend!

What an absolutely fantastic bakery!! Every bread, type imaginable, fresh, looks absolutely delicious. I purchased some sub rolls some sesame rolls, cinnamon rolls, loaf of marble rye and sourdough bread, cookies and cannolis, and I could not have been happier with my . this is definitely my now go to place for any type of bread and I highly recommend. Everyone was helpful, pleasant and made the experience very enjoyable. The bakery was clean, well lit, and you could see every choice imaginable as everything was labeled.

Love this place they have the best brownies oh my goodness, friendly staff never had a problem and on Saturdays if you go to certain time it's like almost half price before they close pastries are divine specially with coffee

Got the tip for this place from the own of Sinful Subs. I love going there for sandwhiches and one of the things I love is the bread. They told me about this bakery and oh man. It's like Disneyland for bread lovers! All their items are freshly baked and they have a lot of options. From bagels, to baggets, to french bread. They just have so much different kinds of bread! I also like that you can get them by pcs just in case you dont wanna be stuck with a whole bag. Really great bakery to get some yummy fresh bread.

I wanted to try this bakery since it's been a few years since it was featured on Dirty Eats. However, I still wouldn't recommend this place. Based on the cleanliness of the establishment, I walked out, nearly gagging.

Wow, first time here and wish I was a Vegas resident. So many different kinds of bread, and at great prices! Not in a position to take loaves of bread home to Hawaii this time so just got a slice of strawberry roll cake (forgot what they called it) and mini apple strudel. So good.

Very nice selection of baked goods which includes bagels, rolls, pastries, and other goodies of all sorts. We did not end up buying anything but they had a great selection of items. Will definitely come back soon for a purchase when we're in need.

A bakery with amazing fresh baked bread that is also a commercial bakery. They have rolls, desserts , bagels cookies, everything.

Always great products. Been disappointed, once. Overall no matter what I've purchased. My eyes are always bigger than my tummy!! The flow to purchasing any item is seamless. Even if it's u're 1st time, you won't be intimidated. Staff ready and willing to assist. Love me some Great Buns Bakery.

There's a large assortment of breads and pastries but the ones I picked were stale. I guess I should have asked them which ones were fresh The pastries are just ok. I've had better. I didn't try their breads.

This bakery has the best almond croissants and bear claws I've ever had. Also a huge fan of the rye bread. Should give it a try!

Every time I visit Las Vegas this has to be one of my favorite stops. Bread is fresh, large variety, great value. One of my favorites is the spicy cheddar bagels. If they served coffee, and had a couple of tables & chairs Great Buns would be brandishing a solid 5 Stars.

Wow what an amazing local bakery! I came here to pick up pastries for my customer. Cinnamon rolls, almond croissants, sticky pecan buns, bagels, walls of different breads and refrigerated desserts (carrot cakes, up cakes)! Amazing selection and great prices. Definitely recommend and will return!

The best quality and largest variety of breads in Las Vegas. Awesome rye breads. A large variety of rolls from assorted dinner rolls from French, Kaiser and steak rolls to the best bagels in town. Great Danish and croissants (hint try the chocolate croissants or the Pommier) sticky toffee rolls are great and amazing black and white mini cakes just like back home. These people are great. I'm disabled and every time I go in the staff goes way out of their way to help me filling my order. Over a hundred local restaurants and hotels agree with me because they regularly depend on Great Buns for their bakery needs. When you walk in be prepared for the best bakery ambience as the store absolutely always reeks of that great old fashioned smell of fresh baked bread.

First I'd like to say the bakery items are outta this world. The service has been great up until my last visit. I was getting my items at 7:15 in the morning and this cashier LUZ starts to get loud with me because I'm taking an extra styrofoam plate. She says it costs, it's 30 cents. I mean I'm buying over 12 different pastries and giving them to some at work so I would need an extra styrofoam plate. No problem I'll pay, but I don't like her raising her voice, especially that early in the morning. She begins to hold up the line to find the button to charge but can't find it. Finally Enrica who has NEVER given me an issue says to "just let him have it" so petty and spiteful LUZ is. Sad really. I'll still come back because the food is amazing. LUZ just needs to learn how to talk to people. Will the boss do anything about it? Probably not. She earned this review tho so enjoy!

Fresh baked goods are my weakness and they have a great selection. It's a straight up bakery so the ambience is the smell of bread and baked goods and nothing else (so no place to sit to work or hang around). The service is fast and the staff gives great recommendations on what's their best seller. The old fashioned cinnamon rolls were a surprised even though I'm not a big fan of raisins, still highly recommended.

I love Great Buns Bakery! As a long time Las Vegas resident, I can assure you that you can always get great quality buns, breads, baked goods here. I know, I know ... bread is not good for you, you might say, sugar is not good for, flour is not good for you ... but it's good for you if you enjoy eating it! Because, clearly I can say, why would you eat something you don't enjoy ... right? So, enough said! My favorite items are the crusty italian rolls and the almond croissant. I always buy them. The rolls are bigger than the usual grocery store rolls, and definitely taste better! The almond croissant is huge! Very tasty, just enough sweetness, not overly sweet. And did I mention, it actually has almond in it? Yes, lots of almond! The store has many different varieties of baked goods, obviously, it's a bakery! Trust me, I have been in bakeries before, where they had barely couple of items ... The store is open every day, except Sunday. Closes at 5 pm! The parking lot can be a total mess, but it still worth going there.

Sometimes I forget about this bakery. It's consistently good. I feel nostalgic when in here. Same smell and temp feel for decades. Prices have risen as they have most places. Items still yummy. Tried the pretzels and pretzel rolls last time as well as the carrot cake. They were good just like the usual bread and bagels. If you are new to vegas, check this place out. It's a locals favorite for decades.

I WILL NEVER BUY BREAD FROM A GROCERY STORE AGAIN! please support this needle on the west coast! great buns is the best by far bread factory! The pretzels are the best I've had and less than $3. The mini pineapple upside down cake is to die for! The chocolate croissant tastes just as good as the other great places I've had in the past. Don't sleep on this local gem!

I was so excited to get my hands on some Texas Toast to complete my Christmas dinner menu. Let me tell you, the Texas Toast was absolutely stunning, and the sourdough bread I bought was simply divine. And the best part? The prices of all the baked goods were really reasonable. The cashier was so kind and even went out of their way to try and find Challah bread for me, but unfortunately, they were sold out. The bakery is located in a simple strip shopping center with plenty of parking. The shop itself is a big wholesale bakery, so don't expect fancy decorations or anything. But who needs that when the baked goods are this good? I'm definitely going to become a regular customer because I'm taking all these delicious treats home with me!

Absolutely love this bakery. The staff are friendly, the bread and pastries are fresh, amazing and reasonably priced to boot. We always get the sourdough bread loaves, texas toast, coffee cake and chocolate croissants. My family members are regular patrons and they've made me one as well. Thanks Great Buns! P.S. First time in this place. I have seen it so many times but never really went in... Located on 3270 East Tropicana, this place is cool. Walked in and the smell of fresh baked bread was so good. They offer a variety of loaves, burger and hotdog buns, pretzel buns, sweets, croissants and many more... I did get their pretzel buns, mini croissants, onion bagels, chocolate pastry, and of course, cinnamon buns. Tasted the pretzel buns and the chocolate pastry, they were damn good... I will try the rest of the goodies and let you know. The place is clean, masks required for entry. You go around and pick what you want, plastic bags, tongs, and boxes provided. Prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly. I will definitely return for more bread !!!!

I randomly found this bakery online and had to try it out and so glad I did! The cream puff was HUGE and it literally took me 2 days to finish it(yes it was that big). Ladies helped me when I was trying to figure out which bread to pick. Good price and good breakfast or snack to munch! ;)
