We recently visited Great Country Farms for the Baby Dino Experience, and my three-year-old had a blast!
My child was immediately drawn to the sandpit area and happily dug and explored with the dinosaur toys, animal figures, shovels, and “bones” and fossils. There’s also a playground space with a slide, tunnel, and soft mats for jumping, climbing, and crawling — perfect for little ones to move and play.
The Baby Dino Experience itself was engaging and thoughtfully done. Two baby dinosaurs were brought out and introduced to the crowd, and the presenter shared fun, kid-friendly facts and did a musical singalong. The final dinosaur to make an appearance was a Triceratops, and it delighted the kids by performing a few fun tricks. There is a photo opportunity and chance to pet the baby dinosaurs at the end.
And don’t forget the delicious apple cider donuts — such a treat — plus a small selection of dinosaur toys in the gift shop that made it easy to bring a little piece of the experience home.
It was interactive, educational, and perfectly suited for preschoolers and elementary-aged children. We would absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a fun outing!
