Great Country Farms

Wow, this is place is great! We only had an hour and a half and that was not enough time to fully enjoy it. We picked out our own pumpkin. The farm store had some great products. The apple cider doughnuts were hot and delicious. My kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow, giant slide, and the ninja course. There were mazes, a catch and release fishing pond if you bring your own fishing gear, little animal pens spread throughout, rope swings, and several other little playgrounds. There were SO many things to do that we didn't even get to see everything. It's a really nice place with lots of shady trees to relax under. I was worried that there weren't restrooms because there are porta potties in the parking lot, but there were at least 2 bathrooms inside the farm area. We had such a great time, and I'm looking forward to another visit, and the next one will be longer 😁 Thanks for building such a great place for families to enjoy so much farm fun!

We’ve been to GCF more times than we can count — it’s easily one of our favorite spots! 🐷🎉 There’s always so much to do — from saying hi to the animals and climbing all over the play structures, to casting a line in the pond, or going for a hay ride and grabbing pizza and drinks at Henway’s (so good!). On our last trip, we caught the piglet races — absolutely adorable — and the big slide at the top of the hill was a total hit with everyone! The market is full of great finds, and we can never leave without grabbing some of those delicious donuts and a tasty drink (or two). ☕🍩 Fall is our favorite time to visit — between the pumpkins, the cozy decorations, and all the fall colors, it’s the perfect place to get into the spirit of the season. 🍁🎃

We recently visited Great Country Farms for the Baby Dino Experience, and my three-year-old had a blast! My child was immediately drawn to the sandpit area and happily dug and explored with the dinosaur toys, animal figures, shovels, and “bones” and fossils. There’s also a playground space with a slide, tunnel, and soft mats for jumping, climbing, and crawling — perfect for little ones to move and play. The Baby Dino Experience itself was engaging and thoughtfully done. Two baby dinosaurs were brought out and introduced to the crowd, and the presenter shared fun, kid-friendly facts and did a musical singalong. The final dinosaur to make an appearance was a Triceratops, and it delighted the kids by performing a few fun tricks. There is a photo opportunity and chance to pet the baby dinosaurs at the end. And don’t forget the delicious apple cider donuts — such a treat — plus a small selection of dinosaur toys in the gift shop that made it easy to bring a little piece of the experience home. It was interactive, educational, and perfectly suited for preschoolers and elementary-aged children. We would absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a fun outing!

Such a unique and fun experience! Plenty of time to play around with Dino themed crafts, sandbox with fossils and more! Then, the main event - meeting 2 baby dinos! My 3 year old loves dinos and dancing so this was perfect for her! Plenty of photo ops and fun! Def will come back next hatching season! Hehe

(The Disneyland of NOVA) Went for a Fall visit and wasn’t sure what to expect. This place is awesome for families with kids & adults looking for a fun day. You buy wristbands at the general store (which was packed with fresh goodies), and can pick up single or 4-packs of local hard cider (cider was amazing). Inside there are hay rides to pick your own pumpkin, corn mazes, a concession store with hot dogs, pretzels, etc. and a live band out in the field beside. You can feed animals, and go through the beautiful wildflowers. There also looks to be a “Cider Barn” across the dirt road that we didn’t try. But this was a great spot for a family visit, or a fun date day. (S/O to the boys handling the concession stand, they were so good at their jobs & so professional!)

A great adorable experience. We enjoyed cider while watching the Dino exhibit. Our daughter really enjoyed the indoor play area as well and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. An excellent experience!

This place was great! I was delighted by the friendly (fat) goats and pig races - something I had not experienced since I was a little kid. The corn maze is over an acre long, and they had a good amount of things to do for kids. We went early in October and it was an unseasonably warm and dusty day - would recommend going later in the month.

This was a fun spot to take the kids. It is a little pricey and not everything is included. It would be nice if they had wagons out by the pumpkin picking because it was rough carrying all our pumpkins. They could also use more hay rides running because you had to wait quite a bit for it to pick you up which is tough with small children. Overall we had a really good time!
