"Can a city call itself a great sports town without a great local beer? No, I say. That’s not a problem for Cleveland, where Great Lakes Brewing has satisfied taste buds since brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway tapped their first keg in 1988. With an eye for quality and innovation, Great Lakes remains independent and employee-owned — just like a fan base that stays true to its teams. Great Lakes’ wide selection includes its well-loved Christmas Ale, available for only 10 weeks each year. Fans line up around the block the day of its release, inspiring the excitement of a high-stakes ballgame. Whether you prefer the cinnamon-spiced seasonal ale, the crisp Dortmunder Gold, or the low-cal Cold Rush, sampling a flight at the Ohio City brewery makes for the perfect pre- or post-game experience." - Wendy Pramik

"Great Lakes is a quintessential Cleveland brewery experience. The craft beer legend continues to thrive, with loads of people in Bernie Kosar jerseys and big-city transplants coming to drink pale ales while watching the home team get whupped. Their beer list has tried-and-true options including the Eliot Ness amber lager, smooth just like the legendary Prohibition enforcer, along with limited-run drafts that nod to Cleveland football, like the crisp Interstate Tailgate pilsner. They even use their beer in the food—wings slathered in a BBQ sauce get an added tang from the Edmund Fitzgerald porter, and a slightly sweet bratwurst is made slightly malty thanks to Dortmunder gold lager. I truly can not express how incredible Shannon and the GLBC staff was from day one! Shannon was so patient with my millions of questions, had the answers to ease my mind with any doubts I was having with decor or food choices. Our wedding was everything I could have imagine and more because of the staff at Great Lakes. My husband and I had even said we will be hosting more life events there. The space was unique, our guests all loved the detail, the food was great…. If I could give them 10 stars I would. If you’re thinking of having a cool, fun and unique wedding…. You will not regret choosing GLBC!

Had an amazing afternoon at this little company tour guy Jordan was fantastic. Very knowledgable very friendly very personable. The tour was very informative. Very knowledgeable. I did stick around and have lunch at the pub took a flight of beer and also did their hot butter chicken sandwich, which was to die for, Definitely recommend this group for a nice afternoon getaway

The local brewery that technically started it all when it comes to the Cleveland area craft beer scene. It’s a legendary place and the beers are still great with selections to please any palate. The food is good too! Service is pretty consistent and the ambiance is neat..the upstairs has a bar and separate dining area as well!

Not a beer drinker so I can't review the beer but the food was good. Most of the pretzels are made with leftovers from the beer making process which I thought was interesting. The cheese sauce was great. We got the Mac and cheese and it was good. The pic below is a half portion. My husband and I split it

This experience was just so so for us. We started off with an appetizer. We ordered the Bavarian pretzel, which was very good. The pretzel was soft and not chewy. The beer cheese that came with it was great as well. The food we ate after the appetizer was hit and miss. My wife ordered the hot buttered chicken sandwich. I'm pretty disappointed with this one. If you look at the pictures, it is the one that looks like a hamburger, which is what I thought it was when it came out. There was nothing Nashville hot about this. Not much of a butter flavor, either. It's just bland with a taste of fryer oil. It did come with pickle slices, which were pretty good though. My son ordered chicken nuggets from the kids' menu. We also had an issue with one of his nuggs, but the manager took care of it for us. For the chicken sandwich and the nuggs, they both ordered fries as their side. The fries were amazing. Somewhat crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The perfect seasoning on them as well. I ordered the West side mac. Though it didn't seem like a mac and cheese so much as it did an alfredo dish, it was the star of what we ordered. I would get it again for sure. It had grilled chicken in it, which was cooked perfectly, and pieces of bacon as well. The bacon had a great taste. A little crunch and a little smokeyness. The cheese was creamy and full of flavor. The gouda really pulled through. All 3 of us liked this dish the best. Our server was good and took care of us with no issues. We ate outside on the patio, which was really nice as well. I dont think it was the best we've had, but it wasn't even close to the worst. It's pretty much right down the middle. Overall, for me, I would recommend giving this place a try.

We came down for pride and had lunch here and a couple drinks. Our server was a bit flighty but the environment was good and our food was delicious when we finally got all of it to the table. I would definitely dine here again the locations nice.

This is the brewery that made me love craft beer many years ago, I'm kind of surprised I hadn't reviewed it on here yet. This time around, I stopped by on a Sunday midday with my wife on a mini vacation to the Cleveland area. We only stopped by for a quick drink and to look at the gift shop, but I can vouch from previous trips that the food is high quality and worth a stop along with or even without their now famous brews. I got a can of the Barrell Aged Christmas Ale (since it is Christmas in July in Northeast Ohio after all) and enjoyed it. I would have liked to try to some other brewpub exclusives, but we were just popping in, but it was an enjoyment as always, and kindled some great memories of years gone by. Definitely worth a stop when in the Cleveland area.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Stopped by the the Christmas Ale first pour event in October. It was a perfect day and a really great celebration of GLBC. They had several kegs and bartenders outside serving Christmas Ale, so that you didn't have to wait at a long line inside. There was music and TV's to play the Guardians playoff game. I've been to GLBC many a times and in special occasions like this and there's generally an ease of access no matter how crowded it is. You could step inside at one of 2 bars to grab something else on tap and I think the upstairs was open for food. I also love that the street is now DOCA, so everyone gets to spill out onto the sidewalk, etc, to. enjoy the good weather and a good beer. GLBC always has an awesome rotation of beers on tap and I fee like they've been experimenting more lately with even more flavors. Love GLBC always and forever!

Dilara C.

Yelp
First of all, awesome spot across from the market. There are indoor and outdoor seats, our group sat inside. The beer is awesome, I had a Mexican lager and my partner had the Dortmunder. We ordered an appetizer that never came out, but the food that did arrive was really good! I can't say enough good things about the Mac and cheese and the fries are super good; thick curly potato slices with a nice crispy finish and a delicious dipping sauce. No pics because we ate too fast, but definitely a great place to stop if you're in Cleveland!

Kelsey S.

Yelp
This was a sub par experience, sadly. We stopped in after going bowling with my friend. Caught the tail end of late night happy hour and the menu was so limited. We ordered a stuffed pepper for my kiddo. Soggy and strange. My friend and I split the only sandwich they had. She also ordered some wings. The beer flight was just ok. Maybe it was the time of day of the day of the week. Beer was good, but would def skip the food!

Jeff R.

Yelp
Great Lakes Brewing is a very large building. It has a gift shop, a large upstairs bar area, a restaurant and another bar downtown. Both times I visited the upstairs bar was packed so I sat at the smaller downstairs bar. The downstairs bar area feels more quaint and a nice hangout spot. Now obviously the best part of Great Lakes Brewing is the beer. They might have the best beer in Ohio! On my most recent visit I ordered a flight which comes with 5 beers. My favorite turned out to be the small batch ipa. For a snack with my awesome beers I ordered a small side of pierogis. They were very tasty especially with the sauce and sour cream. I also thought the pierogis paired great with the beer! Great Lakes is a must visit for any beer lover!

Anna K.

Yelp
Amazing place for trivia! The interior reminds me of an old time bar with its wooden walls and cobblestone tasting room. It's like a step back in time. The food was great and I highly recommend the bread pudding! Huge portion size. Staff were very accommodating.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a good happy hour? Great Lakes Happy Hour currently runs at the bar from Monday to Friday from 4-7 pm. Drink and food deals on their menu!

Raevyn N.

Yelp
We've been here a few times. It's a fun experience especially the beer flights but the menu is on the smaller side. The beer is great a lot of different choices we always do a beer flights when we come. We normally sit in the second room which is nice but often loud. The vibes are fun and lowkey. Service is always good nothing outstanding.

Rose K.

Yelp
Attended a surprise Birthday Party here in their Cellar Location. The Service was top rate!! Everyone was very attentive and helpful. The bartenders even had non alcoholic beer for those who can't have alcohol. Charcuterie and Mediterranean boards were very nice. The Charcuterie board had local cheeses and cured meats with a fig spread, crackers, apricots, fresh strawberries and pickles. A nice variety. The Mediterranean board had many veggies and two types of pita (fresh and toasted). The hummus was a 'tad' watery, but the flavors were good. The buffet offered a salad with amazing vinaigrette. There were also yummy pierogies over sautéed onions, brussel sprouts, pretzel crusted chicken with a beer mustard sauce, kielbasa sausage with sauerkraut. Everything was very tasty. The only constructive feedback; servers were so on top of it, that they took my salad plate with the roll still on it. :( Very efficient, but I wanted that. hahahaha. HIGHLY Recommend for a private party. There were 35'ish people and it was very comfortable. Ps. They let the host bring in cake and balloons.

Yelp
We were intrigued by the historical aspects of this place and with the outdoor patio setting we were a go to try Great Lakes Brewing company. Sorry - we aren't beer connoisseurs so we cannot attest to that part of the place. Our server was also the bartender and despite being busy she took good care of us. I had hoped to try the Sun Sail Away Cocktail, but they were sold out (too popular I guess ). She suggested I try the Good Vibes cocktail and while it was topped with an IPA it was surprisingly good. We shared the Monday Rib special. It was good and we are a little picky since we are from Kansas City and enjoy KC BBQ. The real surprise was the Mac & Cheese! It had a unique flavor and style. It was shard to share equally with my spouse. We appreciate places that accommodate dogs and especially when they will cook a plain chicken breast for our Golden as well as live in him. This was a good midday stop for us.

Michael G.

Yelp
A big Meh. Sure good beer, but the place was not clean, the servers were not serving, and the food was overcooked. I've been here before when things were clicking, tonight was not that night.

Katy C.

Yelp
Stopped in to Great Lakes Brewing Company as it's a familiar brand that is distributed in Michigan and Nate and I were exploring the area. The bar was full but a kind patron let me swoop in to order from the bartender. We just wanted a quick drink so I got a canned Sunsail peach hard tea and Nate got the Edmund Fitzgerald porter. The Sunsail was delicious! I was thinking it might be pretty sweet but it was nicely balanced and had great peach flavor. The porter is a classic and also very well done. They have a full menu and full bar as well. Since it was just a quick stop for us, I'd love to come back again and experience more of what they have to offer.

Yelp
Great Lakes Brewing was on our must go list for visiting Cleveland. We wanted to stop here after shopping at the Westside Market, but unfortunately the Market is closed on Wednesday, bummer! The brewery is located inside a historic building which is gorgeous. We sat inside at the bar, luckily enough it was happy hour when we arrived. The bartender, Leigh, was wonderful and let me sample a few beers before going all in. We tried the Dortmunder Gold Lager ($6), the Eliot Ness Amber Lager ($6), and the Nitro Edmund Fitzgerald Porter ($6). All the beers were $1 off during Happy hour and were delicious. Out of the three, Nancy and I both agreed the Dortmunder was the winner. Leigh said it is one of the first beers they made which is crazy because this place was established back in 1988. Nancy's sister ordered the Grapefruit Blood Orange Martini ($7), she said it was good and it too was a $1 off during Happy hour. We were a little hungry so we decided to order their Buffalo chicken dip to share ($6), which was also $1 off during Happy hour. The appetizer was good, but I wish there was more dip to go around. If you do visit Great Lakes Brewing definitely check out the restrooms in the basement. It's like an old dungeon down there, so cool. I highly recommend visiting this brewery if your a local or just in town visiting for a few hours.

Samantha W.

Yelp
A Cleveland staple! Every time I come here it brings me joy, the old bar in the pub area is so cool and all of their rooms are well thought out and considered. The food here is always amazing, we actually had our rehearsal dinner here and the prices were great and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend having any event here. As a brewery OG in Cleveland I always have to respect this place. The beer is great, and I am glad they have started experimenting a little bit more with what is produced! We have always been treated well while dining here, and we will come back for years and years to come!

Nupur S.

Yelp
Amazing group of people and just amazing with all that they have accomplished with Great Lakes Brewing! Not to mention the amazing food they have! Take the tour it's well worth it!

Aubrie H.

Yelp
Love visiting here for dinner. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating along with 2 bars. The food is always so good, especially the Pretzel chicken.  We also love the different offerings they always have on tap, lots of them taproom exlusives. We tried a barrell aged Elliot Ness which was SO good. On this visit we also tried the mushroom pizza which was good but also very rich. The service and atmosphere is amazing!

Melanie V.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, casual service, food wasn't as great this time. The full salad was pretty sad. There were some slimy pieces and the tomatos are soggy from being pre cut. Ranch was good ha. Sausage sampler gave a nice trial of things but a little to gamy for me. Sauer kraut was awesome though. Hop water too was refreshing!

James I.

Yelp
First off I want to start this review by saying the staff was absolutely phenomenal. Above and beyond great customer service. Next up the atmosphere. Where we were seated had three large tv screens playing sports. Tables were clean & separated at the perfect amount of space. Now the food. Dee-LISH. My wife & I split everything and we both agreed the food was great! Check the pics I posted. Two thumbs ALL THE WAY UP. Highly recommend this spot. If we lived in OH we'd definitely eat there more often than not.

Rob K.

Yelp
This past weekend I was able to have a total Great Lakes Brewing experience. I had dinner at the brew pub, drank a few Great Lakes beers, and took the Great Lakes tour. We arrived around 6:00 Friday for a 7:00 tour and decided to grab a quick bite prior to the tour. We were able to get a seat. A server took our drink orders but we had to wait to place our food order. I had the Midwest IPA which was excellent. I originally wanted to order the pork chop but was told it was sold out so I opted for the buttered chicken sandwich which was very good. The main reason for the star loss was our waitress. We ran a 35 minute ticket time on our food and had to rush to get to the tour on time. She never checked on us and had she been more attentive/timely we probably would have ordered more drinks. Tour was excellent and highly recommend. I'll look forward to my next visit here, hopefully with a little quicker service.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Great Lakes Brewing is a Cleveland staple. Great selection of food on the menu! My wife got the ribs and I got the Sausage and Pierogi. The ribs were fantastic, and the sausage was delicious. Came with cabbage, kraut, pickles and mustard from the local west side market. The building is historical, staff is friendly, and it is in a pretty cool area. The only downside was that it felt like the wait for food was a bit long for a slow Monday. OVERALL, I highly recommend! Stop by the gift shop too for a cool shirt!

Joy P.

Yelp
Stopped in after spending the afternoon at the West Side Market. We were seated upstairs and since the last time I was there years ago, it's been remodeled. We had a table by the window overlooking the street and wine bars across the street. We ordered a flight of beers to sample. The Strawberry Pineapple was our favorite of the samples we chose. My date ordered the burger with provolone cheese and I got the fish & chips. The fish was delicious. After dinner, we ordered the dessert on their menu - bread pudding. It came out warm and with whipped cream and cinnamon on it. It was almost just as I remembered it from years ago....a lot less boozy now though. Still good. We had a great server and the restroom was clean and welcoming with supplies, if needed. We will be back!

Joe K.

Yelp
GLBC... Must stop when in CLE. GLBC is arguably one of, if not the best gastro pub in CLE - Cool vibes, chill environment, friendly people with awesome service, great food, and of course excellent beer (huge plus - dog friendly pub). We dropped in for a late lunch on a Friday, while in town to watch The Tribe (CLE will always be The Tribe)... As always, our visit was two thumbs up - GLBC never disappoints.

Amy W.

Yelp
I loved the ambiance here. It has a warm and inviting feel. There was a cocktail bar in the basement and a very large store attached. The beer was also good. A lot of choices. I was starving and wanted to eat, however this is where things fell short for me. I asked for a menu and was given one. I was then ignored. I had an empty beer and my card out and still had to ask to cash out. It was a bummer because I would have eaten and gotten another beer but their service was lacking. It wasn't exactly busy either so I was confused. Not sure I would come back.

Mariah H.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. We thanked that friend profusely. Such a great meal. Plates at our table - brat and pierogi, hot buttered chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese. We all cleaned our plates. I personally had the brat and pierogi - the pierogi were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, paired perfectly with some whole grain mustard. My plate also had some red cabbage and pickled onions. The brat was delicious. I could easily order this meal again. I'm not really a beer person, so I tried the grape lime seltzer - unusual flavor combo, but I have to say it was excellent. Very refreshing. My sister did get a flight and we ended up purchasing a couple six packs from the gift ship before leaving. Her choices were the Cookie Exchange Milk Stout and the Cran Orange Wheat. I did get a sip of the Cran Orange Wheat, and even as an admitted beer hater, I could have enjoyed a pint. All in all, I think GLBC was a pleasant way to spend an hour or so, and I would definitely come back.

Raymond S.

Yelp
My first thought is they are a touch expensive. Service was a little slow. We sat in the beer garden which was nice, there was a golden retriever in there that was nicer. (Dog friendly-not the restaurant dog). My wife ordered a dish of perogie and that was incredible. I had a beer. All craft tap.

Elise F.

Yelp
Went on a brewery tour at GLBC with my family, and it was awesome! Our tour group was about 12 people. We got 5 drink "tokens" at the start -- one drink at the bar before, then two stops on the tour to try different beers, and then we were able to hangout after the tour and use our remaining drink tokens at the bar again. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. We learned about different products of GLBC and how they're made. After the tour, we had dinner at their restaurant next door, and then visited the christmas bar in the basement. We visited their gift shop before we left. Would love to come back!

Adam S.

Yelp
I really wanted this to be a long review, but it doesn't need to be. Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, and the cellar is an awesome place for a group event. Went there for my bachelor party and everybody liked it so much we went back the second night.

Adriana T.

Yelp
Great kid friendly brewery! Perfect for out of town visitors. We took our baby and ate a delicious meal with yummy beers. Our servers were fantastic and super on it especially on a busy Saturday night. We did have about a 30 min wait and so we browsed the gift shop. However, you can make a reservation if you need. The space was a great. Unique dining that had different rooms like a house, so the space flow was a little different but not bad. They have a full bar in the basement, too. We were even able to catch the NCAA Final Four on the TVs in the room we were in. We ordered the pierogis appetizer, Salmon BLT, Hot buttered Chicken Sandwich, a 6 beer flight and the Hazecraft IPA.

Todd P.

Yelp
Typical bar food, but not good. The staff is not overly friendly. Downstairs bar is cool. Way better places to eat and drink near by.

Cathy I.

Yelp
A great bar with good bar food in an old building with cool woodwork. Everyone here was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed all of the beers we tried and the bread pudding is an absolute must!

Lorie L.

Yelp
Such a great visit! We stopped in during their lunch hours and indulged in sandwich combos with salads and fries, and my youngest got a burger. Not one of us left anything on our plate. My sandwich was the prosciutto grilled cheese with jalapeño raspberry jam. Amazing! Choosing the garden salad with my combo was a great mix, and if salad isn't your thing, you can also get soup. The cherry hard seltzer was a refreshing choice. Not too sweet and not as heavy as beer. We were seated right away and our server took good care of us. Street parking was available at no cost and we also saw a parking lot nearby. The restaurant offers a few seating options from the patio and front room to bar area and downstairs pub. You'd get a unique vibe based on where you sit.

Gus T.

Yelp
I love this place (always have). Wonderful beers and good food to go with them. We sat in the sort of open air part and enjoyed the view of Ohio City. A stones throw from the West Side Market.

Jodi S.

Yelp
The beer was great, as always, but the food was average. The mac and cheese was dry and tasteless. The portions for the brat and pierogi was really small for the price. Disappointing. Service was very good, as was the ambiance.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Good service, great atmosphere and awesome food. I love that they partner with several local food growers and the west side market for several of their dishes. I highly recommend the west side Mac if you are a Mac and cheese fanatic like myself. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture because we ate it too fast. The pretzel appetizer was average- I would try something else next time. Our drinks were wonderful- I love the Great Lakes Christmas ale and the peach old fashion was phenomenal.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Good food and a lot of fun for trivia! I had the pretzel crusted chicken sandwich for dinner and tried the cran orange wheat beer, which was good for me because it was very sweet and tasted more like a cider than a beer. Everything was good! The service wasn't the fastest but that's to be expected during a trivia night! You can make reservations for trivia on Thursday night. I'm not certain if they are needed, but I would definitely recommend getting one.

Courtnay B.

Yelp
The Good: Location is great and love the outdoor ambience. Enjoyed the Gose beer, off menu item that was recommended by the waiter when I asked for a sour (5 stars for that guy). Pierogis were fantastic! Just OK: Wings, IPA beer, fries (they're thick corkscrew style, so more potato than fry) The Bad: Overpriced bar food that took longer than anyone should ever have to wait.

Andrew G.

Yelp
Though I'm observing Dry January, I still really enjoyed my time here and had some incredible food! It was great that there were lots of options for NA drinkers like myself, and loved that they had hop water on tap. Everyone who was enjoying their beers commented on how good Great Lakes is and I can't wait to go back and drink when I can! The bar food aspect, wings and pierogies, were outstanding. The garlic parmesan and the buffalo wings were ON point. Crispy, came with lots of blue cheese, and were very meaty bites. The pierogies loaded with pork were SO FREAKING GOOD. Couldn't polished off a whole serving myself! While I lamely got the Caesar salad with chicken, which was VERY good, I got to try the special with a sausage, pierogi and pickled goodness and it was DELICIOUS. Great cook on the sausage, the pierogi was delicious and the hot mustard was such a great compliment. Great vibes, great service and I want to come back and peruse the gift shop a bit more!

Jorge I.

Yelp
Love this place! Very cool and relaxed atmosphere. The sidewinder fries were so yummy and crispy! Food was simply amazing. Service was okay, we had to get her attention a couple times for water and extra sauces. Overall, definitely a must visit!

Rachel E.

Yelp
Great brewery in Ohio City, great stout selections and I had their tasty cheeseboard. Reservations are recommended, it gets packed. Great living atmosphere and good service.

Steven H.

Yelp
So I am a huge fan of this micro for about 15 years now. What a disappointment this time around. The beers were mediocre compared to all the competition these days and the bar area is old and stale. Nice new beer garden.

Kevin M.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to visit while we were heading into Cleveland area for Christmas type things. It was a Saturday at nearly in the afternoon. Parking is extremely tough! We were finally able to get a spot about two blocks away and make the walk. Once we arrived, it was a 50 minute wait to be seated. We use that time to walk around the neighborhood a little bit and shop in there Store. After we ordered, it was another 40 minutes to get our food! The food was good. Not terrific. Good. They did not have the barrel aged Christmas ale on draft so I settled for that, while my wife tried one of their seasonal cocktails, resembling a whiskey sour. My wife ordered their flatbread while I ordered their half Caesar salad with grilled chicken and Stilton soup. I must say I believe the Stilton soup was the surprise winner of all the flavors! My wife's flatbread was extremely tasty as well. Not sure if or when will give it a shot as it's so far away from us; however, we are going to try to get there when the crowds should be smaller.

Ryli C.

Yelp
We grabbed lunch and flights on Thursday afternoon. We were seated right away and the service was great. I got the pierogis and pulled pork. WOW was it tasty! And I ordered the hop flight with all IPAs. All very tasty but my least favorite was the tropical IPA. I thought it'd be my fave but just wasn't as good as the others. Cool vibes in the bar area and a cute gift shop as well.

Audrey N.

Yelp
I want to love this place because it's so cute inside, but we struck out here. When the server informed me that several of the beers listed on the menu weren't available I settled on the only IPA being offered. It came out flat so I ordered a can of Rotator which tasted like a penny. For lunch, I ordered the lettuce tacos with grilled shrimp. When the tacos arrived, I barely noticed the overly wilted lettuce because I was given plant based shrimp. Apparently the server didn't find that difference worth communicating. I then ordered grilled chicken to replace the unavailable shrimp. The rest of the food was average but no one ate much. The manager brought the replacement grilled chicken for my tacos at the same time we asked for the check. But, he comped a beer which made everything better ...

Sharon K.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious place my friend recommended- the mushroom flatbread was amazing !!! Shiitake and other mushrooms so nice and not salty yummeh!! - also had a salad with my meal - my friend tried a few beers got the bread pudding and I think also a burger - it was such a nice meal ! I just had water - not big on beer - I really loved all the great food - a nice dinner or lunch spot :)

Goodness I.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday with family and had over an hour of a wait. Thankfully, there were different things to do nearby and we were able to partake. When it came time for our table to be ready, our waiter seemed checked out and overworked. He had able 8 tables he was caring for, so we only saw him about a total of 4 times in our 2 hours there (not by choice). We ordered appetizers and they took an hour to come out, and our main food items came out 2 minutes after the appetizers. The food thankfully was good! My sister and I really enjoyed the Brussels and Bacon.

Yelp
We sat at the downstairs bar that resembles a man cave. The service is great, and they have a nice variety of drafts. I have not tried their menu, but maybe next time.

Yelp
Finally came to GLBC with the goal just to eat and was quite pleased. First of all, happy hour here includes Friday and goes till 7pm! That's awesome! It's in the bar area but includes bar seats and high top tables too! We ordered the meatballs from the HH menu which included 2 large meatballs. I thought there were decent, a tad dry, but couldn't complain for the size and price. Pretzels were the highlight of the meal and they were soft and perfect about of salt but I do wish we had more cheese dip (which was fantastic). Sausage platter had three types of sausage...kielbasa was my favorite and sweet and savory and juicy. The other two sausages were a little dry but still decent. We were stuffed and had leftovers from our three appetizers. For the price and quantity. Both of us left satisfied and happy after our meal!

Yelp
Visited from out of town on a Saturday around noon. There was a wait for a table but we went to the cellar bar area which was very cool. We had 2 flights which were delicious! We didn't get any food but the menu looked great. I was here back in 2011 and it was just as fun as I remembered. It's also in a very cool building. Not an industrial space like so many new breweries.
