Amazing! We came in on the evening of a snow day and there was only one lady working but she was so nice and served us well. The portions are HUGE.

Google
This is absolutely my most favorite orange chicken in town! Good quality chicken and delicious sauce. I've always had excellent service. I've been getting this orange chicken for 17 years and it never disappoints!! It's literally the most freaking delicious!

Google
Yay, I found chop suey! And yummy too! Chicken, lots of bean sprouts, onion, celery, carrot, and garlic in a savory sauce. Ordered through Instacart Restaurants (powered by Uber Eats) while shopping in the plaza. We also enjoyed the lo mein and appreciated the descriptions to discern between lo mein (soft noodles) and chow mein (crispy noodles) since we don’t frequent Chinese restaurants very often. The spare ribs appetizer had a sweet and salty flavor, maybe plum sauce? Delicious but watch out for the tiny bone fragments. Will be back to try their soups and salt and pepper dishes! Sorry, one pic is at the end of the meal.

Google
This used to be the only spot i would go for Chinese food I've been going for over 8years. Am unsure if there's new cooks or management but the food has gone down hill completely. We got sesame beef, orange beef, fried shrimp, crab puffs. The last 2 times we have gone the sesame beef is so hard you can barley chew it with little sauce and dry, the orange beef was tasteless and also extremely over cooked. We got orange chicken the 3rd time and it was also overcooked. The fried shrimp was way over the first time we threw it away and so much batter the 2nd time you couldn't taste the shrimp. Fried rice was amazing like always though. Hope they go back to the way they were before.

Google
Food was amazing, some of the best Chinese I've had. Orange chicken was was crisp and delicious. Mushroom beef was great as well with lots of fresh veggies. Portion size was huge. Made two meals for $13.75

Google
We eat take out or delivery and food is very satisfying, but on our last pick-up it says 10% off pick up, they did not honor that and also charged a dollar more for 8 pcs shimp and a dollar more for the Singapore rice noodles. Didn't catch that until after we got home. So instead of it costing approximately 31.00 it was 37.96 plus we always tip. We will go there and explain it to them, we thought we had an out dated menu, but these prices are online

Google
I wish I could pick 3 1/2 stars. The food was tasty but I don’t know that I would return. Pros: Convenient location, easy parking, broad menu, fair prices, tasty food. Nice vegetarian selection. Cons: your grandparents’-style restaurant, from the plastic table cloths to the easy listening music to the Shirley Temples. Long waits and short staff.

Google
Friday night, did not feel like cooking.. and craving Chinese food. Read the reviews here, and ordered takeout/delivery. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious!! We had the Beef with Green Beans, Shrimp Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, House Special Lo Mein and the Prawns with Black Bean and Garlic Sauce. Great Taste Chinese Restaurant is going to be our new go to for Friday nights! Delivery fee was only $6!

Yelp
We have been trying to find a nice place with good Chinese food for years and haven't been able to until tonight. The food was to die for, the ambiance was clean and decorated nicely not over done and the service was excellent. Terry and Tracy

Yelp
Hungry for Chinese we found this restaurant near the Vancouver Mall. We were greeted at the door and quickly seated. Staff were very nice. Unfamiliar with their menu, we looked for items we normally order from other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a C4 which included fried rice, almond chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken along with Egg Flower soup. I ordered General Tso Chicken with rice and soup. We also ordered a side of Egg Foo Yung. The Chow Mein that we usually order, comes with the option of hard or soft noodles. We did not have that choice and mistakenly received literally fried noodles. It was totally a miscommunication of what we were searching vs what type of noodles they offered. But, not a problem. We know now to order Lo Mein noodles, because they are soft. Never assume every Chinese Restaurant, prepares Chow Mein the same. It would be worth the time to ask before ordering. But they were super understanding and very flexible. Our meal however, was very delicious. The Egg Foo Yung, so fresh, large and thick. We will definitely return. Nice clean establishment.

Yelp
Ngl, It's like a 3/10 for me. The appetizer we ordered was the house plate appetizer, I think is what it was called which consisted of like one piece of bbq pork which was sliced into like 7 pcs. The meat seemed to be freezer burnt. Some fried shrimp in batter, and veggie eggrolls which were deep fried and lowkey drenched in oil. 4 pot stickers which I feel had too much dough for my preference, and 4 crab rangoons which I thought was the best thing in that plate. Presentation didn't look too appealing. This was served with a sauce they made. I believe it was a mixture of sweet and sour sauce and wasabi. Ngl, I loved the sauce. For my drink, I ordered a Coke Zero and could taste the tap water from the ice. For my main course I ordered the house lo mein which consisted of beef, chicken and shrimp. I love how tender the meats were however the noodle texture kinda felt like it had been cooked a lil too long and typically I like my noodles a little more springy. Customer service was a 10/10. Our waitress was very attentive. But also I didn't like how warm it was. So overall I think I stand by the 3/10.

Yelp
Wow!!! Went to Great Taste Chinese Food last night over by Vancouver mall. The food is always good, service is great, usually not a wait for a table, and a very fair price. Last night the food was the best I have ever had! We ordered many different dishes. All the dishes were fresh, huge portions, and so good. The restaurant was busy however our wait for our huge order was not long. I asked the waitress what was different. She stated they have a new cook that is from China with many years of experience. I asked her to please share with him our complements and how much we appreciated his efforts to create such awesome food. If you haven't been there or have been there in the past, I suggest you head over for a great dining experience! Big thanks to all involved with the Great Taste restaurant!

Yelp
Friendly, quick service. Food is pretty good. Wouldn't say it's particularly healthy or authentic but it's good to just chow down on some sticky crispy General Tso Chicken and Pork Fried Rice. Dinner Combination plates are large portions and you will definitely have plenty to take home for another meal!

Yelp
Good go to take out Chinese spot. I like the general Tao even over orange chicken and chowmein is always good but I'd order low sprout and a combo of meat if you'd like to have a good amout of protein vs filler. Crab puffs are yummy but need to be ordered well done. Overall a good meal.

Yelp
Upon walking in the restaurant it looks quaint. The woman at the counter was friendly and gave good service up until I had to call the restaurant back due to a misunderstanding with what I ordered. There was definitely a disconnect in what I wanted versus what I received. I asked for a pan fried noodle and well I received a large portion of cheap bean sprouts with a few other veggies thrown into a flavor lacking "sauce", and a side of minuscule little crunchy pieces aka noodles. The vegetable rice lacked flavor and had white or yellow onion instead of scallions. The mock chicken meat was not bad but not good enough for me to return here. Service turned bad when I called back to explain my confusion on the noodles. I explained to the woman that was not what I was expecting and she immediately went into defense mode and that she explained to me what it was ( clearly a disconnect) and could not take it back. Did not offer a remake or anything. But not surprised at the level of service when something goes wrong. I even left a tip. 2 stars because the mock chicken was alright but not good enough to return.

Yelp
I used to like this place a lot a few years back and stopped going because the quality went down. I decided to give them another shot and I regret it. I ordered the Sesame chicken, egg flower soup, and spring rolls. The sesame chicken which was basically squishy bread covered in sauce and ZERO chicken. Not a single bite had chicken. The egg flower soup was ok but nothing to come back for. The spring rolls were oily and 90% breading. So if you like over priced Panda Express and spending way too much on bread then this is the place for you. Highly recommend going anywhere else.

Yelp
We order our Christmas dinner from here every year and it is delicious. Dinner last night was no exception. We use Uber Eats and I get one of the few Beyond Meat chicken dishes- the wrong one was packed this year and it was still yummy!

Yelp
Greetings! Great Taste never disappoints! Enjoyed a yummy lunch today. Hot and Sour Soup is delicious. Mongolian Beef is just a bit...but not too spicy. Many thanks to the kind staff which always attends to our every need, keeps the water glasses filled, and is always appreciative. Sincerely, Andrew & Donna Gregg, Vancouver.

Yelp
Love the food and service here... best in town for Chinese I order takeout here on a regular basis

Yelp
I dropped $50 on the most ABSOLUTELY BLAND food here tonight. I asked for both dishes to be extra spicy. The Family Tofu dish was nice to look at, but NO FLAVOR. The Twice-cooked pork looked A LOT BETTER, with obvious chiles and oil added... LOTS OF MEAT AND LOTS OF VEGETABLES, BUT NO FLAVOR.... I'm more about quality than quantity, quality brings you back to a place... And I have no idea what to do with all of this leftover FLAVORLESS FOOD.... I don't go to casinos , but I feel like I JUST LOST $50'... Hopefully,, I don't get the TRIFECTA, and get sick from OVERPRICED AND FLAVORLESS FOOD. Will I be back ? UMMMMMMM NO

Yelp
So I'm not sure if there are multiple of these or Chinese restaurateurs are just very unoriginal. I can never remember what levels of taste "good" or "great" I've been to and where. I got the combo with general tso, fried shrimp and bbq pork. The general tso was good. Not the best but definitely one of the top. Tasty sauce. Not too spicy or metallic. It was ridiculously hot though fresh out of the kitchen. Good cuts of chicken without inedible pieces. Solid. The fried rice was good. All of the requisite parts. Even some crispy vegetables. The shrimp batter was a little too heavy. Also unevenly cooked. One was in Incinerated. The bbq pork was super weak. Pale and meager. Not a very strong showing. I appreciate the soup with a to go order. Never had that before. The hot and sour was both hot and sour. A little thick so again, ridiculously hot coming out of the kitchen. Maybe this is the new normal but I thought the price was a little high. I'm also probably a little spoiled not paying tax but it adds up. Solid four. Some weak spots and value kept it from a five.

Yelp
I'm always searching for Chinese restaurants that offer vegetarian chicken and this is our new go-to place. We ordered the fried spring rolls, egg drop soup and general tso's vegetarian chicken. Was it healthy? Nope. Was it sweet and sticky and exactly what we were craving? You bet! We will definitely be back. The staff is friendly, the place is spotless and the food was great.

Yelp
The service was horrible we were never offered drinks and when we asked we never got them till the end of the meal. The server never checked in with us how the meal was or if we needed anything. I wont be returning.
google avatar

Lynne S.

Yelp
The portions are small. I chose a lunch entree and I've never seen such a small amount of food. It would fit on a salad plate. My friend ordered from the dinner menu and the portions were what you'd expect from a lunch menu. Been here several times before and now they've gotten stingy. No wonder they were dead at peak lunch hour.

Yelp
My 90 year old mother is in a local retirement home and after 14 years, has tired of the institution kitchen prepared food that she eats twice daily. I asked her what food sounded good to her for us to bring a takeout lunch? She informed me that Chinese would be a nice change. After Yelping the local area, Great taste Restaurant was the most convenient, so we stopped by at their 11:00 AM opening time and ordered 3 takeout combination meals at $55 with tax ( no beverages) for mom, my wife and I. While waiting, we both noted the clean dining area and restrooms and after a short wait, left with a cardboard box full of Styrofoam containers. The portion size of each entree was generous however, all of the food lacked any seasonings or flavor. The hot and sour soup was hot in temperature but on the bland side in taste. The fried prawns were heavily breaded, not the typical light tempura, but also lacked any flavor. The same for my wife's chow mein and my General Tso's chicken. Even adding salt and pepper would have helped. None of us tasted the sides of fried rice as we had already had enough mediocrity. It all served its purpose as Mom was pleased to have the take out lunch however, I wished I had done a better job of Yelping to find food worth the money or the trip. The meal was the definition of Meh! In all fairness, we dine weekly at an Asian restaurant where we live in Seaside that has a yelp rating of 4.5 and we now appreciate Candy's place even more after dining here!

Yelp
They added some new Sichuan dishes. The Sichuan Boiled fished must try. So yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Food usually tastes good & the prices are fair, however my boyfriend ordered from here yesterday & the food gave us food poisoning. Now I can't go see my family for Thanksgiving simply because we decided to order from here last night. Thanks for the massive diarrhea & upset stomach. Oh and thanks again for not allowing me to see my family on Thanksgiving. I'm never ordering food from here again.

Yelp
Vancouver WA. Been in this place off and on over the years. I used to work in the same plaza and stopped by a little more frequently then. Times have changed, decor has not. Food has changed as well and just slightly degraded from the last time I was here two months ago. Service is always friendly. Had the lunch General's. I think I got forgot as my mom's lunch came out and the table that came out after me. Came out a few minutes later lukewarm.

Yelp
The Wife and I saw this place one day, tucked at the end of one of those outdoor malls, and decided to eat there in the near future. So, a couple of days later we stopped in for a meal. The hostess came around to greet us, as in to take our order for to go. We stated we would like to dine in, she acted very surprised ("You want eat here?"). And after some discussion about the wife's service dog, we were seated. Very nice décor, very clean, quite space. We placed our order, the food was ready quickly, and it was very good and plentiful. As is my custom, if my wife never complains while we were there, I leave a 100% tip. So, I left the 100% tip. (My wife even used the ladies room). We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant! Great job.

Yelp
After shopping at Vancouver Mall, I was craving for some Chinese food. This restaurant is conveniently located right across the mall so we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the waitress. Dine-in is available so that's a plus during this pandemic time. I can finally sit down and enjoy my dinner. All the staffs were wearing masks and took all safety precautions. I was craving for orange chicken and also general tso's chicken, so I ordered the chicken three ways and requested to upgrade the chicken with snow peas to orange chicken. My request was accepted and I was a happy camper. I also ordered the vegetable spring rolls and eggplants with garlic sauce. The food portions were huge and definitely enough to feed two of us with a lot of leftovers to-go. The eggplants and chickens were all very flavorful. The chicken was tender and juicy with thick and zesty sauce. Would definitely recommend this place! Great location, delicious and big portion of food, and friendly staffs!

Yelp
My husband and I have loved this restaurant since our daughter told us about it. We have taken family and friends there and everyone really enjoyed their food. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the last few times I've eaten there the broccoli beef has very little beef in it. This is my favorite dish so I order it about 90% of the time so I'm aware. This isn't just their lunch special but their dinner portion also. The service there is excellent.

Yelp
I've been searching for a good scallion pancake for quite a while and this place certainly delivers. It's crispy on the edges, tender in the middle and perfectly browned throughout. My wife and I both qualify for the silver menu (seniors) and we found options for both. She went for the cashew shrimp and I went for the Kung Pao chicken. She liked her entree and we both agree that with a cup of soup and either steamed white or brown rice for just under $10 is a great value. Neither of us could finish our meals and look forward to the leftovers later. I asked for medium hot and I felt like it could have been spicier than what I was served. I rarely eat steamed brown rice, so I'm still trying to sort out how the combination impacted the tastes. I certainly appreciate the healthier options. Service was very good, they do a great job training their staff as we came to learn that tonight was Lucas' first night as a server. He got our order right, understood the menu options well and was quick to make sure our glasses did not run dry and that we had everything we ordered and checked back on is later. The place is fairly basic with slick tablecloths that do not risk any confusion for a fancy white table cloth experience. It's clean and comfortable. I don't think you'll find a better offering at this price. Give the scallion pancake a try if you go, I think you'll like it. We'll be going back, for sure.

Yelp
We love Chinese food and think Great Taste is true to its name. The food is delicious, comes in generous portions and is nicely priced. Equally excellent is the service. Friendly, flexible, thoughtful and fast. It's the best service we have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. The dining area is spacious and the decor plain and simple. We have never frequented a Chinese restaurant as much as we frequent Great Taste. Great food, great service and great value.

Yelp
The food the service and the people are nice and clean and they have great quality of life

Yelp
I haven't been there since 1991. It was a different name but come to find out same family I cannot say enough good about the food, service and the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and a joy to talk with. The atmosphere was perfect and a nice surprise. The drink I had, Black Russian, was perfect not overly iced. It was definitely worth the 40 mile drive.
google avatar

Yelp
The sesame chicken is my favorite! I could eat here every week and be happy. The combos are great for when you want a bit of several things. The potstickers are the closest I've been able to find to the ones I had as a kid - thicker dough with a hearty filling. Definitely my go-to Chinese restaurant.

Yelp
We decided to order out despite knowing they'd be busy the day after Thanksgiving. We didn't feel like cooking and it was a good decision. We ordered: General Tso's (S4) Sesame Chicken (S15) Steamed Triple Crispy (61) Curry Chicken (51) Chicken with Snow Peas (52) Our favorites were definitely the Sesame Chicken which was still crispy even after pick up and had a nice hint of spice and Chicken with Snow Peas had an abundance of snow peas which was good. Curry chicken wasn't as spicy as we hoped but I think that we probably just need to indicate our preferred spice level which is higher than most. We'll definitely order again and we're excited to know we have a tasty new takeout option during quarantine!

Yelp
One of the few (only) Chinese food places I've found that are open to dine-in service during the C-19 pandemic. I've looked in S Texas before their recent surge, up in N Washington and in Vancouver. Nobody is open inside even using CDC recommendations with a mask and social distancing. So, this was a nice surprise. As to the food, since this was our first visit, we tried a number of different apps and entrees. We were pleasantly surprised at most of them as we have a couple of favorite dishes at our favorite restaurants in Vancouver and have yet to find any place that is their equal. Our favorite dishes just happen to be served at two different restaurants so we usually have to decide what it is that we want on any given night. Appetizers included Crab Puffs, which we found to be almost as good as at one of our favorite restaurants, Hot and Sour Soup, which again, was almost as good as the other of our favorite spots and a Scallion Pancake, which was OK but we'd not be likely to order it again. The one change I'd like to see them make is to serve a spicy ketchup along with hot mustard to sip the crab puffs in. They offered a sweet and sour-type sauce but we prefer the spicy ketchup. We also ordered a large order of butterflied fried shrimp which were EXCELLENT and cooked to perfection. A spicy ketchup would also go well with them. For an entree we ordered Cashew Chicken which was very good too. We normally like either sub gum chicken or pork chowmein, but other than not having onions, this was a close match. Next time I'll ask them to add onions. We let the server know when we were seated that we'd never been there before and we'd be trying new dishes. She didn't rush us at all and was very friendly and helpful. So, while none of the dishes except the shrimp were quite up to the level of our favorites at two different restaurants, having such a close second available at ONE restaurant is very beneficial. Add in the best fried shrimp we've had in a Chinese restaurant and we've found a new favorite Chinese restaurant when we are in Vancouver.

Yelp
This is a decent Chinese Restaurant. We had the Mongolian Beef, Salt and Pepper Squid and Mu Shu pork. Every was OK but pretty greasy. It caters to western tastes and probably a good choice for egg foo young and chop suey lovers.

Jason J.

Yelp
Food is typically good. It's Tuesday, they claim per Yelp to be open, however, after driving across county they are closed. I'm tired of these type of surprises, that in my opinion, counteract any positive rating due to food quantity, service, ambiance, etc. If they aren't open when they claim to be, the value delivery drops to zero. What a waste of time.

Yelp
I moved from Los Angeles 3 years ago, been looking for a home made Chinese food, tried many Chinese restaurants which were disappointing until this place I found the best ever Chinese food & I well mean it, I love this restaurant so much I order at least couple of times weekly. You guys you should try their food.
google avatar

Dolly B.

Yelp
We ordered a to go food (almost $80 worth of food). We get to our hotel and they didnt give us one of our chicken and white rice meals. They are rude at picking up the food and I understand they are busy, but check the food to make sure the order is correct.

Alexus D.

Yelp
Stopped by during holiday shopping. The restaurant was very quiet and there weren't many customers. The service was good; they replenished our water very frequently, and our food came out pretty fast. However, my group was very disappointed with our meals. The batter on their deep fried shrimp was very thick, similar to a corn dog. Same with their general Taos chicken, which was doughy. Additionally, our meals were severely lacking flavor. Definitely not worth the money.

Yelp
The family and I tried this spot yesterday for lunch after looking at other options in the area. We got there around a little before noon and the place was empty when we walked in. The lone waitress was friendly and prompt enough. We ordered egg flour soup, hot & sour soup, broccoli with beef, sweet n sour chicken and chicken fried rice. The soup came quick and the egg flour soup was better than most. The broccoli beef was quite good; broccoli was cooked well and the sauce was flavorful. The sweet n sour chicken was pretty bland and lacked that big flavor you hope for. It reminded me of Chinese food from a grocery store. The big disappointment was the rice. The side rice (which came with the entrees) and the chicken fried rice was made with some rice that was stale. Most bites had at least a few pieces of hard rice, like it was leftover from the prior day. I bit into one big clump of hard rice and thought I could have chipped my tooth it was so hard. By the time we got our check there were more patrons and it took quite a while to pay. I finally got tired of waiting for her to come back so I walked up front when I saw her go to the bar. Not that this place is terrible, it's not. I've had far worse Chinese and I wouldn't refuse to go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice either. I would've probably given it 4 stars if it weren't for the stale rice.

Yelp
I still love this place and turn my nose up at other Chinese restaurants. The food is so good here, I love coming in all the employees are very respectful and amazing. I usually order the schezwan chicken, a yummy flavorful sauce that comes with fried chicken and assortment of vegetables like baby corns, broccoli, red peppers and water chestnuts. The meat to vegetables ratio is fair and ideal. Come in for lunch for their special that includes vegetable fried rice & your choice of entree usually my bill is always under $10. Today it was $8.95 with tea .

Deborah K.

Yelp
Had a very bad experience with the food here. Ordered spareribs, they tasted like wild game and did not look like pork bones. They had no meat on them hardly, flavor was plain disgusting. The pork fried rice was so dry we couldn't eat it. $ 65.00 dollars worth of food, we ate the shrimp and egg foo young patty , threw the rest away. It was terrible, we were very disappointed. Will never go back. DK 2/24/23

Yelp
Food was not very good. Just low quality. But on the plus side service was fast. We got it to go so not sure what the inside looked like.

Yelp
I don't recommend this establishment. I like to patron restaurants that represent minorities in the community. However, this restaurant needs a course in basic customer service skills. I ordered $125 worth of food (paid extra $25 thru DoorDash). When the food arrived it was in your standard big box taped up by the restaurant, so I know that DoorDash had absolutely nothing to do with the horrible contents. They sent two entrées, one deep fried hockey puck shrimp/scallops with NO sauce (I added a specific note in DD please add sauce, wasn't sure if it came with sauce, but how can this NOT be accompanied with sauce??) And another entrée of deep fried hockey puck...something. Pot stickers mushy and under cooked. Orange chicken nothing to be proud of, especially for the prices. I took the food and drove all the way across town to discuss it after a failed phone call to the restaurant to discuss. They admitted their mistake of sending over one of the hockey puck dishes, but didn't take responsibility for anything else. They didn't offer me anything after spending that much $ and having to drive back a box of their food to show them. BAY AREA Peeps, this isn't Chinese food that you would recognize.

Yelp
We spent $55 for delivery. Slop best describes what came. Chicken fried rice that was dry, plain and no chicken flavor. Vegetable dish had no sauce whatsoever, and bbq pork was like old shoe leather. Otherwise, we loved it. Shocked this place remains in business. Worst we've ever had. Disgraceful

Yelp
This place is great... we love the menu selection and the food is excellent! Consistent, flavorful and one of my weekly staples. Highly recommend

Yelp
I walked in and was promptly greeted by the waitress at the front counter. She quickly sat me at my table. I was on a business call at the time so she showed me to my seat and gave me A Menu. As soon as I hung up she came over to check in on me and was very accommodating with what I had thought I wanted to order. Quickly I changed my mind and she didn't skip a beat. I ordered the Mongolian beef with a little extra spicy. She promptly brought out the hot and sour soup which was amazing. Not too spicy and not To sour. Their Mongolian beef was nothing to write home about but it was good. i liked that it came out on-top of rice noodles. very good. Since I am from Portland I would recommend this to the people of Vancouver. Don't drive out of your way for it.

Robert B.

Yelp
I ordered the c9 that is the combo. The spicy chicken that I asked to be extra spicy had no spice at all. And the pork fried rice had no flavor either. So disappointed

Yelp
We ordered online a decent size order. Said would take 45 min. Showed about 10 min early and the lady at front desk said that someone already paid and picked up my order. I let he know that I just got here, my order wasn't due for about 10 more min. She insisted that my order was gone. So I turned to my boyfriend and should we just got somewhere else. Let her know we were leaving cause it was not offered to remake our food. Then called me 20 min later to tell me my food was ready.? Worst customer service I have encountered in a long time! Will not even attempt to eat here again because of this!

Yelp
Yes, it's one of those American Chinese Restaurants, but it is the best in my book. No MSG and the food is still very tasty. The seating and lighting are pleasant. And the rest room is absolutely clean. We will definitely come back!

Yelp
Sooooo I must say that this restaurant had a unique taste to the sweet n sour chicken. It was as described both sweet n sour and I'm not really sure what it was but it was pretty good. The only thing I wasn't really a fan was that the sauce was completely soaking the chicken which made it soggy when it arrived. The fried shrimp was perfectly fried and had a nice crunch to it. Everything else was pretty tasty and to my liking. I would recommend coming here if you have a thing for sweet n sour chicken.

Yelp
We went there for an early supper, and ordered drinks. At first, the server appeared confused by our sake order and had to return to ask if we wanted the normally chilled sake hot or cold. He returned with the chilled sake and my beer and took our orders. The highlight of the meal were the potstickers. Perfect crust, hot and delicious. Unfortunately the main meal was just okay. The portions were on the small side (if I'm paying 10 bucks for fried rice, I expect like a to go container size of rice). The food was okay, but everything needed more seasoning. I'm afraid we won't be back. There are much better places to get Americanized Chinese food in Vancouver.
