I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my recent experience at Great Wall 2 for the sake of transparency and public awareness.
Unfortunately, shortly after dining here, I experienced symptoms of food poisoning, nausea, stomach cramps, and fatigue which persisted for over 24 hours. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day apart from the meal from this restaurant, making it the likely source.
While the staff was polite and the service was relatively prompt, the food itself did not seem particularly fresh especially the house fried rice and sesame chicken dish, which had an unusual texture and taste that, in hindsight, should have been a red flag. At the time, I assumed it was just a variation in preparation, but given the outcome, I now believe the ingredients may not have been handled or stored properly.
I’m sharing this not out of malice, but in the hope that management takes this seriously and reviews their food safety and hygiene practices. It’s essential that customers can eat out without worrying about getting sick. I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution until improvements are made.
