Great Wall

Definitely not the same quality of food as it used to be. Ordered boneless ribs which were burnt, dried out and tough like shoe leather. The fried rice was very dry. The egg rolls barely had any filling in them and we could hardly find any pork in them. The shrimps were soft and overcooked. Definitely a waste of money!

Average chinese takeout, clean, fast, rude & good.

Food is average, service is terrible. I ordered chicken chop suey and 2 combos. I picked it up so I wouldn't have to wait for delivery but obviously they don't pay attention to what they do and all I got was some vegetables and no chicken. Terrible experience.

The guy always provides great friendly service to me. Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Lo mein noodles, and spare ribs on the bone....But delivery is always reliable too. 😋

Ordered beef and broccoli was more like broccoli and rice five pieces of beef

Amazing foods and kind delivery guy!!! During dinner time they might take a little longer than usual but reasonable and understandable since they’re extremely busy. And the people from the restaurant are so positive and warm hearted. THE BEST in the town!!!!!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but I absolutely had to here. We ordered for the first time and sadly found mice droppings in our plastic bag. I was so disturbed and disgusted, we threw all the food away before even touching it. Never again.

They have gotten so cheap they leave the egg out of the fried rice. What else are they doing?

Probably one of the best fast "Chinese food" places in the area. They make the staples so well. I'm talking General Tsao's, sesame chicken, Veggie MuShoo with the pancakes (sauce for it is great), lomain, boneless spare ribs, their little crispy bag you get with your order, fried rice.. they're all always spot on. Now, I'm not saying this place is healthy, I'm not saying it's good for you. I'm just saying it's delicious in your mouth! Haha been coming here for years. They deliver as well if you're in the area.

Ordered take out from here on a snow day and tried their bbq pork lo mein and their egg rolls! The lo mein was delicious, with freshly cooked noodles and the right balance of veggies and bbq. The egg rolls were great and filled with yummy veggies as well.

I rated this place a 1 star because I couldn't go lower, the workers are rude not just to me and my loved ones when I've gone but to their other customers I've witnessed. On one occasion, I went in with my s/o at the time and I placed an order and the person at the register didn't even look at me and said "we don't have it" and I understood and ordered an alternative and before I could finish ordering he said "we don't have that". Kept dodging all my requests to the point I asked him "so what do you have" and he just kept dismissing me and said they just had soup lmfao, so I left. On another occasion, I had went with my mom and once again he kept dismissing me and claiming that they don't have any of the dishes we wanted. I try not to believe it was prejudice or racially motivated because he acts that way with almost every customer I've seen.

I had beef with strings last night the beef was fatty it didn't even taste like beef n the color of the meet was off. And now today I have been sick with pains in my stomach. I have given this place so many tries but last night was the last. I will let people know cause it's not the first time this happened with the beef. Horrible

Call in your order people. I was the only one standing at counter, trying to order and I wasn't even acknowledged by man working in front of me. He took 6 -7 calls in a row, and I patiently waited, but was about to walk out. At least , tell me , you'll be with me in a minute or SOMETHING !!!! So rude !!!! I was gonna call from inside also. Should have, It would've been faster. Ridiculous !!!!!

The food was very good. The restaurant was out of the item I ordered, so they called me to see what else I wanted. Man on the phone was courteous and nice. The delivery guy was not nice. He was argumentative and angry over a small "disagreement" we had. He invaded my personal space to attempt to prove that he was right. Not cool at all!!!

I have been ordering frozen for the past 20 days. I don't know if it's under ownership. But their quality has definitely slipped . It was evident to me the last three times I ordered from there . An hour ago I ordered two large orders fried rice with shrimp with extra shrimp . I took a couple of bites the rice was raw and hard as hell!

Gross! Ordered a quart of egg fried rice. $6.48 Brown rice with egg. Nothing else. No onions. No peas. Nothing. Tasted gross. So I returned it. Lol.

The food is excellent. The delivery time is horrendous considering I'm 5 minutes away. I don't understand why they take so long delivering the food specially during the week.

Nobody was wearing a mask :( During a pandemic this is extremely concerning. I walked right out.

Ordered from here on friday night! Got an order of Chicken and Broccoli with Pork fried rice, no sauce what soo ever on the chicken! The rice looked very pale in color and also had no taste! Ordered fried wontons, which were very very small!! Over all, we regretted ordering food from then when we had heard this place was going down hill and still wanted to give it a try! And to make it better, I became very sick about an hour after eating!! Never going back here!! Not worth the sickness!!

while the food was simply mediocre the problem we had was the employees. The hostess was sitting at one of the only 2 tables in the dining area and talking on a video chat on her iPhone rather loudly. Monkey see monkey do every single of the employees was yelling from one to the other. it was simply a disgusting ambience and we will never go back. Who needs to sit and while eating dinner listen to people yelling in a foreign language continuously? I won't be going back there, not ever.

Didn't expect it but, Great Wall Chinese Restaurant was truly fabulous. Very unique environment that you have to experience. Our order came out quickly. First off, the service was outstanding. Thank you Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. I will be back.

Heart broken to leave this review however it is a MUST. Monday evening 1/15/18 my husband and I ordered from them . At least twice a month for the last 5 years we order from this place . Unfortunately this will be our LAST time ordering from them. My husband and I had different orders and both fell extremely ill to the point where we could not stop vomiting through out the night and into the morning . Things got pretty scary where we could not get out of bed to take our daughter to school . At that point we decided to go to the ER where it was confirmed that we had food poisoning . Because of this unfortunate circumstance my husband and I were out of work for three days . PLEASE beware before ordering here I would advise you to go else where .

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from here one week night and it was the worst decision ever. I immediately noticed my chicken broccoli was too slimy and his sesame chicken was inedible. 20 minutes after eating 1/3 of my portion, I started to have dull pain in my stomach that shortly after led to horrible pain and uncontrollable vomiting, I almost went to the ER but passed out instead. This has never happened to me before. I will never be going here again!

Food was very bland. Girl at the counter is very nasty and disrespectful. Better off Going down the street to tasty house food quality is much better and service is great

Honestly the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. I spit out 3 pieces of chicken because it was under cooked. Wontons we drenched in soy sauce and I'm not sure why. Sesame chicken had no sesame. Sweet and sour chicken was under cooked that you can taste the dough. Crab Rangoon and egg rolls were decent. Might as well spend a few extra bucks and get good food from either Tasty House or Ho Ho.

To me, very blah. One of my trusted friends had a issue here. He said they dropped a rib on the floor, picked it back up and put it in the take out plate. Never again.

Always happy with their food, fast and friendly service. Small eating area inside but not for anything other than waiting for your takeout food. This is not a restaurant. However, I've always enjoyed their take-out.

Rude lady at front desk. Ordered online, with cc but had to pay cash anyway. Waited 3x longer than they had stated plus I showed up a good 10 minutes after I ordered.

Started coming here about a year ago, interior has changed a lot since...cleaner and more open space.... but food has always been delicious. Counter people are nice, delivery is usually within alloted time and their prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants. The big difference here, is the food. Compared to other Chinese places, this place is a lot less fried, less fast food, less frozen. The food just tastes and looks so much better than those shabby beat up hole in the wall spots. Its still American Chinese but just feels Authentic. Im not even a fan of chinese food but this place has me craving it. Wonton soup is the best Ive had around, add some lemon and you got perfection...

Great food, clean environment, definitely a place to go to on the regular. Welcoming staff, fast delivery, food comes out quick and is always delicious.

This place is the pits! After the manager gps'ed my location the driver called for the spelling of my street which was on the reciept along with instructions to use the intercom upon his arrival. He couldn't manage it so he used his cell phone and I had to come down to him. Then he wanted a bigger tip. We were emphatic about getting the house mustard and were assured that we would be getting it. It never came just some lousy pre-packaged stuff. The manager said they were busy and she would call back. It must have slipped her mind. By the way, the food was mediocre at best.

Don't recommend! They WILL butcher your order; not to mention they barely speak english. You might as well tell them to surprise you when you place an order. They will give you egg instead of steak and chicken instead of tofu. There is the Tasty House on the same street and you will be better off ordering there. The only thing this place has going for them is that they have a a surplus of soda and will include it if you spend over $40. They do not care about their customers at all because they can't even communicate with them other than to say "Thank you" & "Sorry". They have one job & can't get that right; you'll see that the more you order from them the lower in quality their service & food will become. As for me I'll be getting my right order from Tasty House.

Great food and great service. This is the best place to go for Chinese food in the area. I've gone to other places to compare but none are as good as this one. The pricing is also very reasonable

Good spot for above par Chinese take-out. Don't expect more than you should from a neighborhood take-out joint and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect white glove service or top-notch people skills. This place serves its purpose as a quick spot to grab good Chinese food. Food comes out very fast, is tasty, not over seasoned or loaded with salt, just good Chinese food. In my opinion, much better than many other Chinese take-out spots in the area.

Have been going here for years but have not gone in a couple of months just lets say something changed Ordered a lunch special of beef and broccoli with brown rice and a chicken and rice soup Now for the review The brown rice was hard like it was old or undercooked The sauce had no taste The meat. Was ok The soup had hardly any rice broth had little taste I am very disappointed with a place that I have used for a long time Will give one more chance but if that's bad will have to look for another place

Decent chinese fare in Yonkers. Really just a take-out place; don't plan on eating there. Check your order to make sure they gave you all of it.

So far so good I love their food and they are fast on the deliveries! Hopefully they do not prove me wrong!

Ok...this used to be my chineese spot unitl they added the GREAT to their name and squiggley black hairs to their Kung pao chicken...service went wayyyyy down hill,your food is sitting there and there doing 37 other things other then puting your stuff in a bag....oh and duck sauce must be in high demand because they act like it's more valuable then gold...this place used to be great going to be honest and have no idea what happened...try tasty house down the block from them wayyyy better food and no hairs....yet!

5 stars for their chicken wings. Really, really good chicken wings. Get it with the fried green banana, great bang for the buck. I've had some of their other dishes, overall pretty average, it's all about the chicken wings here.

Ordered chicken with broccoli. The chicken was rubbery and had no seasoning. Very bland. Also the fried rice looked like white rice and had no flavor at all. Very disappointed. Use to be the best take out in our area. What happened?

I order shrimp loin me on Friday June 3, 2016 and the next day we all got diarrhea. the food was not fresh. I will not order from them no more, my advice is to be there present when ordering this way you can see when they are preparing the food.

This my Chinese spot for years. I never had a real problem. Sometimes Chicken wings were burnt but other than that they are pretty consistent.

Food was incredible!! Can't get Chinese like this is Florida... I had the General tsous and it was juicy and hot when I received it. The chicken and broccoli my boyfriend got was incredible as well.

This place has been around for years! Ordered hundreds of times, each time food was perfect. Can't decide what my favorite dish is. Try the spare ribs, general tso's, and shrimp with garlic sauce! The wontons and dumplings are amazing too!

Order few times from this restaurant. Price is good food is fresh and delicious. Definitely will be my one of the favor restaurant.

What a disappointment today. Placed an order at 7:00 pm and after two phone calls finally received our delivery just before 9:00 pm! When I called the second time, at 8:30, they apologized and said they thought we were picking up. I asked them to please make the order fresh and deliver. They arrived 25 minutes later with hot but not fresh food. Chicken Pad Thai noodles, fried rice and vegetable lo mein were soggy and starchy. General Tso's Chicken did not have the expected sauce and Sweet and Sour Shrimp was also soggy with wet dough under fried outside. We have ordered from Great Wall many times with good results but will not be ordering again anytime soon.

Poor customer service but good food they need someone to answer the phone that understand you when u say never mind the the food that means never mind don't show up to someone's house expecting them to pay then argue with them
