Amazing food and even better service! The chicken salad is unbeatable, and everything we’ve tried has been just as amazing as well. Family-owned for over 40 years with fresh ingredients every time. It gets busy, but it’s always worth the wait especially with the sweetest young lady up front!

First time eating here and it's a really nice restaurant. I tried the chicken salad and it was very good. I waited about less than 10 minutes but I didn't mind. Their service was great. The price is reasonable. The restaurant is clean and organized. On a Friday lunch, it seems most people do takeout. I definitely recommend it and next time I'll try another item from the menu.

Food so delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had better Greek food than Grecian cafes. Their gyros is so tasty and has amazing flavor. The chicken salad is so good and chicken souvlaki plate. It’s a family owned business and everyone there is so nice. The restaurant is clean and well kept.

No joke, my family's ordered food from Grecian Cafe for over 30 years now. While there's other options in the area, and we've tried them, they either give you less protein, cost more, are lower quality, or some combination of the three which is why we keep coming back. Okay, that and the family who owns it is really nice.

Grecian cafe is seriously a hidden spring valley gem. I literally dream about the chicken Greek salad but everything on the menu is great. Family owned and operated, very welcoming spot. Will always recommend to everyone!!

I eat here often and I used to enthusiastically recommend this place to so many people, but my sister recently tried ordering from a man on the phone and was treated very rudely. Food is great but with bad treatment, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Won’t be recommending this place or dining there anymore.

Absolutely delicious! We tried this place out for the first time and just loved it! The owner is super nice and offered great recommendations for entrées. The environment was friendly and happy. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The food was so so so good!! The restroom was clean. Everything was perfect! Strongly recommend! A must!

This has to be one of the best Greek cute and cozy restaurants ever! This family dining spot has been around since I first moved to San Diego. I have been dining here and having their food catered for all occasions. They take pride in cooking flavorful and tasty Greek dishes to tantalize all taste buds. You can always depend on consistent, fresh, flavorful, and very delicious entrees! They also have delicious traditional Greek desserts like the powdered-sugar cookies and Baklava. They are always professional and friendly with their customers making them feel right at home! They also do a fantastic job making sure their restaurant is clean which makes a big difference to me! Enjoyed a quiet, solo lunch here on a Monday. Plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. Lots of sunlight. Service was friendly and efficient. Just one or two dine-in customers, but steady flow of takeout orders. Spanikopita filling had great flavor, fresh dill, spinach and feta. The phyllo was a little overdone, but at least it wasn't greasy. Delicious falafel! Great portions! Glad I ate here.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Since it was round table and SVMS, lol! Always freshly made meals. Never disappoints. I always order the salad with chicken because it helps us feel reset and full. Great place for lunch.

Small restaurant, not that well kept, some parts of the restaurant are pretty dirty and was hoping it did not translate to the food. The plate came out semi warm. It is served on a huge bed of rice. Rice is lacking in flavor, pita bread kind of cold and tastes generic like it was frozen, tzatziki sauce has no flavor, chicken was fresh and hot but it needs more seasoning it tasted only like burnt charcoal. Comes with a salad and salad has way too much vinegar, the lettuce was literally soaked wet from vinegar.

Only place I go to get a Greek chicken salad! The chicken is seasoned very simple but so delicious. Staff are always friendly and polite.

Very polite staff. Appears to be family owned. I've only ever tried the gyro plate with an extra side of pita, which feeds my wife and I. Relaxed and calm ambiance. I've only ever ordered to go. I've only tried the gyro plate because that's all I have to try to come back! reasonably priced!

Absolutely LOVE the Grecian Cafe. My go to spot when I'm in town and craving Greek food. The family that owns the place is really nice and welcoming. They make a wonderful Greek salad (ask for extra olives if you're an olive lover like me). I also love their Dalmas as well as the Gyro's here. Parking can be a little tight but usually there's atleast one spot available.

The #1 selling item on the menu is the Chicken Salad! 10/10 and a must try! Great portion and comes with a pita that is also amazingly fluffy and delicious! Everything is always made fresh and excellent customer service! You can also buy the dressing and make your own salads at home. Highly recommended!

Had gyro pita and didn't get fries. Ordered baklava and was a broken up little pastry piece. Also had the 21 shrimp and fries- popcorn shrimp and fries were soggy and no salt. Had Grubhub deliver and I know it wasn't their mistake. Not returning

This place is OG San Diego and while everything is delicious, I think their gyro sandwiches, both the chicken and regular gyro meat, are the best! The tzatziki is delicious--I think a lot of places have too much garlic in their tzatziki, but theirs is just right. I tried the lemon soup, and it was also really good! It was very lemony and refreshing. My absolute favorite thing we ordered was the baklava! I've had a lot of baklava in my life and it was better than any I've had before. I love everything from this a cafe, and the food is consistently delicious. The employees were very helpful and kind, and this cafe gets really busy, which is a testament of the love people have for this place.

Was craving Greek so here we are! Ive passed this place many times but never tried it out. Glad I did this day! Service was great, the cashier was friendly and patient as I figured out what I wanted to order. I loved the pictures of Greece they had inside. I ordered the super combo plate and it was delicious. A good portion (enough for me to have lunch and dinner). My favorite was definitely the spanakopita!!! I will definitely be back to try more.

Consistently great tasting & quality food. The family who runs Grecian Cafe are always kind and accommodating. If they are busy they are up front about realistic wait times. Our favorite order is the Gyro Sandwich with fries (the fries are bomb). We love the gyro & chicken souvlaki plates, the onion rings are on point and their hummus with pita is good. This is a month go-to for our family. Favorite place to eat on this side of town.

Just ordered delivery for my 1st time trying the food.. Ordered vegetarian. Food was wonderful. Ordered thru Grub Hub. Food was delivered in 20min. Fast! Portions were large. Fair price. Will order again!

I love this place. I come here at least once a week. The #2 combo is my go to. The staff is extremely nice and prices are reasonable. They have a good beer selection which is always a plus!

I've been going here for years. Best things I've ordered here are the lamb shanks and gyros. Before, I really had bad experience with them because I called ahead maybe 2-3 times, and I still had to wait for my food. One time, years ago, I waited for an hour. I saw people who ordered later get their food earlier than me. When I demanded for my food or refund, the ladies there started arguing in front of me. Anyway, they got better now. There's a younger lady taking in phone orders. And we get our food on time now. Good job!

I cannot express how much I love the Greek chicken salad from this place, been coming here for more than 3 years. I get the large with extra feta cheese, omg my fav!! Employees are always nice I have nothing negative to say about this place, I also get a side of rice since my baby loves it! When I'm in the area Grecian cafe if always my first choice. I've been coming here since I first moved to California, over 20 years ago. I left California 3 years ago but I still crave this restaurant's food and haven't found a Greek restaurant as good as they are. I recently visited my home town for a few days and I couldn't leave without stopping by here again. I ordered the gyro plate with rice and it comes with a Greek salad. The food was just as good as it was before I left!! I sent a picture of the food to my mom, who also loves this restaurant, and said she missed the food so much. I'm telling you, I've lived all over the United States and I have yet to find a restaurant that has better food than here.

Best gyro salad I've ever had. The dressing is to die for. Ambience is usually pretty ok, so is service, but the food overshadows it all.

Since moving to the area this has been our go to when craving greek food. We always order for pick up.

Their chicken or falafel salad and hummus is solid. Food is fresh and they are consistently good. I prefer takeout since the restaurant is small.

My wife & I just discovered this Greek cafe. We ordered the hummus pita bread appetizer, grilled salmon, spanakopita, beef souvlaki on pita bread sandwich & lastly the baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious, took us back to our trip to Santorini! The serving sizes were huge and the friendly service was so truly appreciated. We were just going to take out & eat at home, but then decided to eat outside using the stone patio tables. Unexpectedly they brought out water to us which was such a kind gesture. We look forward to another visit to this friendly, hospitable "hole in the wall" cafe located in Spring Valley!

Ordered for 5 the other night. The order consisted of half chicken dinners and salads with chicken. The chicken on each of the meals was dry.....VERY DRY. There's nothing worse than old, dry chicken that's been sitting around the restaurant for several hours. We ended up giving it to the dog. This is the second time in a row that we disliked the food from the Grecian Cafe. We gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time we got lousy food, but after the second time getting dry, tasteless food, we've decided that we'll find someplace else to eat. No thanks.....save your money.

My family and I really like this place. The restaurant owners are amazing and the customer service is great. You are always greeted with such happiness and respect. The food is very good. The 1/2 chicken dinner is so good and you get a LOT of food. The fire feta is a must try. So so good. My family and I will continue to come to this place. So so good. This place is a must.

This Grecian Cafe puts many restaurants to shame. They cook the food fresh with quality ingredients. My favorite items are the half Greek Chicken and it comes with a small Greek Salad. However their Greek Chicken Salad is a generous portion of salad and lots of sautéed chicken. Down right the best salad I have tasted. The employees are professional and prompt. Overall a great place and price for an incredible meal.

I have driven past this place a hundred times over the past 5 years but never stopped in until today. Let me just say I'm in love...*sings* L is for the way you look at me, O is..okay, okay..I ordered the chicken salad & it is delicious! The dressing is nice and light, everything tastes fresh and there you have it, the perfect salad! The only thing missing was avocado, but I threw that on once I got home and yup...I'm a fan!

We've ordered take out here many times during Covid and prior, and the yumminess just can't be beat! They've got the best falafel I have ever had, fresh delicious salads, and you'll thank yourself for grabbing a few baklava. Gooey fresh magnificent baklava, leagues better than the dried out stale offerings I've had elsewhere. The owners here are so lovely and friendly, smiles galore and are always kind. I'm very lucky to have this gem so close to my house. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.
